Keep Talking & Nobody Explodes
$9.99 felt a little steep but have a BLAST every time we play.
I use SkyBox with the DLNA feature. It's really easy, just configure Plex to use the DLNA
You can access these preferences under Settings > Server > DLNA in Plex Web App.
Just posting the download link in your video here for more exposure: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.WhiteElkLLC.EclipseEdgeOfLight
I will try this game at weekend, really excited for it.
I make VRTV, and while I don't fully support all DayDream features yet, at least the SDK I use is new enough to support it. Unfortunately I don't live in a Daydream ready location, but users have told me it's working. I'd love to get some more feedback if anyone here choses to try it out!
I've linked to the paid version above, since it has a file browser in VR, and I'll add an option to start the app in VR in the next version. There is a free version if you just want to try it out.
I'm working on adding support for the controller too, but I'm flying blind a bit.
Hope you don't mind the self-promotion.
Hi guys!
After a successful launch on Oculus Go (4.2 stars out of 300 reviews) and on Vive Focus, I've recently released "Pirate Shooter" on Daydream!
Unfortunately, the Daydream policy is very unfair and the game won't show up in the Games category until it gets enough good reviews. But since it is only possible to find the game when using the search, players are not able to find it.
Any help or feedback would be much appreciated!
I don't think it's the best, but you can check out my free game Gravity Pull VR. It has a unique movement mechanic, and I'm working on a much higher quality follow up right now.
i like The arcslinger and Duck hunt nes remake made by me :) if you like shooting game this two is good choise.
There is an Earth demo in the Cardboard demo app.
It's got only a few bookmarks, but you can "fly" to any other locations the hard way.
As with other cardboard apps, you either need to have a mouse plugged in (if using Daydream headset) or a cardboard viewer with a button to properly use it.
Most 3DoF apps will be OK as long as you remain with a 1 meter box. If you move too far, the graphics can look strange because there will be missing images. Games that also move the camera themselves can run into issues.
One game I enjoyed playing out of bounds was Skylight. The controller doesn't work if you move too far, but once you start the each turn, you can walk into the middle of the spaceship battle and watch the fight up close.
Just make sure your room is clear if you're walking around.
You can get a quick look into the NeuroReal world on Cardboard for free before buying here:

Facebook: facebook.com/NeuroRealVR/ Twitter: twitter.com/IndieVRdev
My favorite is "Skybox VR", a video player like VLC.
Features include: 1. 2D, 3D, 180° , 360° Video Support. 2. AirScreen: streaming local videos from PC to mobile devices. 3. Support streaming video from your UPnP/DLNA servers. 4. 3D Side-By-Side and Over-Under Video Support. 5. Support ALL Video Format. 6. 4K Local and Streaming Playback Support. 7. Automatic recognize video type (180° VR, 360° VR, 2D, or 3D). 8. Beautiful user interface and VR environment. 9. Theater mode while watching 2D and 3D videos.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.skybox.player&hl=en
If you just want access movies and TV shows or whatever that you've got stored on another device running Plex just make sure you've got DLNA enabled and use Skybox VR Player to access it. This is the most common usage scenario.
Plex isn't the only option of course. You could use Emby, or Serviio, or Kodi or a range of other streaming solutions.
Nice review, thanks!
If you’re enjoying viewing spherical photos, definitely give Cardboard Camera a try if you haven’t already. It allows you to capture stereoscopic 360 panoramas with sound for ambiance. Capturing a few has become a must for me on any vacation. There’s also built in sharing, so if your family has a Cardboard viewer you can send them a quick link.
The correct settings for Daydream are to install Skybox instead. Unless of course you're literally invested in the non-free version of VRTV and feel compelled to get your money's worth, in which case it's:
Dome 180
3D Side By Side
Normal
For some older NA vids, Fish Eye may or may not look "better".
Imgur albums are very close on the roadmap.
Youtube videos though are only available through the official YouTube VR app for now (if installed, click on the "youtube.com" link next to subreddit).
All pancakes and games are here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ff.Playground
It's actually meant for developers, someone just built it.
From my experience the quality of this game doesn't seem as good, it feels like it's using a bit older code, I guess this is why it's not public. It would be nice if Google improved it and added it into their content.
Edit: you can access all their code and content on the Unity - Google VR SDK.
It wasn't supposed to ship that early...
I doubt you will be able to play with it until the 10th.
One solution you can have fun with is just play Google Cardboard games, such as:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/collection/promotion_3001527_cardboard_apps
(some apps aren't on this link).
Another app I recommend for videos:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shakingearthdigital.vrsecardboard
With these games the controller won't work, and you won't have a button to click like on the google cardboard, but you might just skip menus by taping on the screen.
It comes with a free mini-game suite. There are two "big" games so far:
Are you looking for a Daydream specific app? I don't have a Daydream phone now so i don't know if the apps still work. But if you're open to cardboard apps, there's at least a few that should do what you want. And i'm happy to recommend this one, with a small disclaimer being that i'm the developer of it. I've spent a lot of time trying to make it the best VR player in the store, and making it immune to corporate decisions by being completely free from dependence on external VR services <cough>daydream, gearvr</cough>.
More like companies aren't submitting for certification.
Daydream and Cardboard use the same backend software, VRCore (aka Google VR Services. The only difference between a Daydream and Cardboard device is more or less a software setting that's enabled if the device meets the Daydream spec. None of which is based on any special hardware.
The only reason devices don't come out is because the companies making the phone don't want it (or care if its) certified.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.IndiGoGames.ShelterDefense

I just got this. Not mind blowing but it's decent if you like Tower Defense.

It also have a companion app called "Lola Companion" (link below) which will let your friend to join the VR adventure with you: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ClimaxStudios.LolaAndGiantCompanion
Some of my favourites are Catatonic (once available in Within, I hope it'll become available somewhere again) and the Atmosphaeres nature relaxation videos, Ireland is the one that I like the most.
Get FullDive, whose latest version is Daydream-compatible, and that will let you launch any Cardboard app from within VR.
You can use the controller's button with any Cardboard app with either themost recent version of the Google VR Services or one that is in the works.
Possible alternative: use Riftcat/Vridge as a way of streaming SteamVR to your phone. SteamVR then has built in 'home theater' mode for regular games, and of course you can play gamepad games with VR modes too.
I'm the developer, and i created it to basically be the VR app for the mobile VR apocalypse. It works with any phone and headset, and doesn't exclusively rely on any VR framework, so unfortunate corporate decisions won't make it stop working. It does just about everything i could think of that this kind of app should do, and i still update it often.
For the specific thing you're asking (streaming files from PC), you would use the network stream feature, and on the PC you can use VLC and my open source PC companion app "Stream Helper".
I'm making a game called BHVR. I've posted it in cardboard section, but it seems like noone there. It's still in beta, but it might be the thing you was looking for https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.HCMTR.BHVR
Nice, definitely try Cardboard Camera — it lets you easily make stereo panoramas with a little bit of sound.
For more 360 spheres, have you tried the Street View app yet?
You have two options: 1. Make a panorama which is 3D but does not include the top and bottom using Cardboard Camera 2. Make a complete photo sphere which will not be 3D (it will be flat) using Google Camera
You can view your photo spheres by using the Google Photos Daydream app. Unfortunately, currently no option exists to combine the two photos to create a full three dimensional photo sphere.
I didn't get great results from Fulldive. I much prefer Skybox. It also supports DLNA which is nice if you have a media server on your LAN.
I just see some new Apps in Daydream App's "New & updated" section: "Hextus", "VRrOOm", "BreathePeace.World.", "Solar System VR", "VirtuaWork" and a really weird one -- "Muscle guys will raise you into the sky!". Most of it are paid App, and may not suit for your need, you may have to give it a try to see if it is for you.
Other titles which been mentioned in this Subreddit before and added to Daydream Play Store recently are: "Burger Splat", "Zed Shot" and "Fractured", two of them are paid App, and the free one is a demo, so it's on you to decide what suit for you.
And just hours ago I installed a App called "The Right Choice", it's a free 360 Documentary film made with Google's Daydream Impact program. But since it seems not listed on the Daydream Play Store, you may need to find another way to install it on the Mirage Solo:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dontpanic.thechoicevr
And in Japan, there will be some VR experience come to Daydream VR platform as well, all of them are related to different popular Animations in Japan. But since those Apps are likely only available in Japan, so I'm not going to discuss these here.
We think you should try to play Death Horizon VR. It’s apocalyptic zombie shooter for Google daydream with support controller.
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dreamdev.deathhorizon.daydream
I used a Ricoh Theta SC 360 camera. It's about $180 and makes taking 360 images super simple. With that said, most high end Android phones have the ability to create 360 photos from the camera app (by dynamically stitching together a bunch of smaller photos as you wave the phone around like a loon). You can also use the Cardboard Camera app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.vr.cyclops) to do the same thing.
I made a free video synthesizer app called Visionmaker for Daydream VR with geometry that responds to music.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dddstarvision.maker
This release has five fresh cuts by Portland, OR indie techno artist DeLyria from his latest album Electron Movement
Here's a link to Along Together: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.turbobutton.alongtogether&hl=en
and Darknet: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.emcneill.darknetDaydream&hl=en
Nice! If you like panoramas, definitely give Cardboard Camera a shot (assuming you were talking about mono panoramas and aren’t already using it). It’s my most used thing for phone VR, and it works on iOS and regular Cardboard so you can share with everyone.
I made VR Puzzle Room myself, at home. So I guess that counts? :)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.softkitty.puzzleroom
It started as a personal project on Google Cardboard but recently added daydream support and a new level.
Not natively through the DJI or Daydream apps.
If you want to do FPV through your Daydream, Get Litchi. I know it's steep price wise but it does give your quadcopter more functionability and a FPV mode. Just don't forget to turn off the NFC chip on your phone befor using or you'll just keep launching into the Daydream app.
I use an app called Skybox VR to watch videos from my computer. It has Daydream support and can handle multiple formats (2D, 3D).
They have a desktop application where you add files to the library that can then be discovered in Skybox.
>Prepare to get so ill!!!!
Haha, I had the same experience with Quake. I did get a little used to it, but the first time was about 10, maybe 15 minutes of game play and then an hour of lying down feeling sick in a dark room.
So, definitely also look into getting Half Life 1 set up to run with Xash3D VR!
It needs a lot of buttons and some of the gameplay is a bit dated, but I love the environments and atmosphere.
There is nothing even close to this at the moment.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lucidsight.polyrunnervr
That app at least is a flight app but its not a flight simulator. You are just on a map trying to dodge the ground and the mountains while going through rings. But it is the closest to what you are looking for despite not really being it. Sorry we can't provide a better answer but its all we have at the moment.
I do not spook easy. Amnesia, Slender Man, Aliens: Isolations, whatever. Other than jumpscares, which are more of a shock than actually atmosphere, nothing really gets to me.
10 minutes into Affected: The Manor and it was to spook for me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.unity.affected&hl=en
Google Spotlight Stories does this - Rain or Shine and On Ice are fun, short VR narratives, with a little bit of gaze-based timing adjustments (plot sections don't kick off until you look at them).
Besides positional tracking (which is important) there's a vast performance gulf between desktop and mobile. Desktops can draw around 500W in VR, mobile has to be well under 5W. Even laptops run in the 50W-150W range. Battery tech doesn't improve very quickly, and phones can't dissipate much more heat. As long as mobile means carrying the weight on your head, there will be a pretty large gap between the two platforms. If VR All-in-one units can be a lot nicer than phone-based ones, but still a long ways from PC-based performance.
Hi! Is there a way that I'm missing to see all the different Daydream games and applications currently available? I'm having a hard time knowing what's out there other than the handful of featured content within the Daydream app itself.
For example, it was only from digging around that I was able to find that Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is live and available for purchase.
AAA VR does a great job, but doesn't support the Daydream controller.
You have to get the app ready and start playing a video, then insert your phone into the Daydream and use the Recent Apps button to swap back to AAA when Daydream opens. Then close the viewer and enjoy!
Thank you for the information.
Concerning Google Cardboard games some of them you don't need a button. For example this demo you can have a bit of fun: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.FabulousPixel.TuscanyDive
You can walk everywhere by looking at your feet, which will trigger the movement.
More: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=google+cardboard&c=apps
There IS a VR version of YouTube, which is probably what you're missing. You can find it here
Once you have it installed, it should show up in your app list when in VR mode
Did it!
Just compiled the assets and added icons, details, etc.
Uploaded it to the Google PlayStore for easier download and install:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ff.Playground
It takes a while (~ 30min) to be fully uploaded.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.vr.cyclops
Never tried it though. But my panorama's showed up and also a really old photosphere I think I took with a Galaxy Nexus only. I was pretty disappointed none of my Gear360 stuff seems compatibile either.
Just putting this here because the update wasn't available for me in the store, but i was able to download it there, install it and everything is working again!
Don't use Vysor.
https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy
Performs a lot better and does all the stuff of Vysor Pro for free.
Either way you have to hook it up via USB. You can do wireless but you have to use wired first and
adb tcpip 5555
Unplug and
adb connect <ip-mirage-solo>:5555
And then scrcpy the same as being wired.
If it was associated with the Google Play Games app, you can reinstall it from there. I can still install Flappy Bird that way. If you get it downloaded, use an app like APK Installer to make a backup of the APK file.
I think all 3 variants are fun, they're just 360-degrees versions of popular classic games.
I don't remember how the 3rd one is originally called, but remember playing it a lot like 10 or 15 years ago (here's a version for Android I could find after a quick search: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.s.crazydots&hl=en_US). Honestly speaking, for me it is the weakest of the three, as it is only moderately fun. And when you punch out the matched colors, the remaining bricks are moving together. It won't be possible to clear the whole wall, but the aim is removing as many blocks as you can for highscores.
Along with the 2nd opiton, you might also look into something like candy crush or bejeweled. When you get one minigame ready, making a variation of it shouldn't bee to difficult, I think. Could be fun and satisfying matching something with a bomb and watching bricks explode all around you.
Tetris should be super easy to control, if the bricks do not move freely, but "snap" one section at a time, just like in the original game. I am not sure what you mean by 'awkward'. The player just points at the piece, presses the controller button to grab it, and moves it left or right to the needed position, then either releases the button to let the piece fall, or pulls the piece down into place. If only one falling piece at a time is too boring (as we considerably inrease the board from 10x20 to, let's say, an octagon of 80x20), several pieces could be falling at once. That should be insanely fun, in my opinion.
And the previev of the next piece, along with the score, you can place above your head or under your feet, or both (or let the player select top/bottom/both; this, actually, could be implemented in all minigames).
Hi guys! To celebrate our successful launch on Oculus Go (4.1 stars out of 31 reviews) and on RIFT/SteamVR (4.3 and 80% positive rating), we have decided to run a limited time Chinese New year Promotion on Google Day Dream until Feb 12.
Now you can save up to 55% on The Cooking Game VR
Unfortunately, the Daydream policy is very unfair and new games won't show up in the Games category anymore. But since it is only possible to find the game when using the search, we thought it would be great to share this promotion.
How are you recording the 360 video? 360 videos need special metadata for them to be recognized as 360 videos. https://github.com/google/spatial-media/tree/master/spatialmedia can add the metadata.
You can also try SkyBox which lets you customize how you view a video.
If it's okay to plug in, Speed Surfer: free (from $1.99) - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.cmdr2.speedsurfer
Due to a scheduling error, it'll be free from 4PM PST on 25th (nearly midnight Europe, 26th AsiaPacific). But you can PM me to get your free download codes, in the meanwhile.
I think the original Baskhead VR App has been removed from the Play Store, I managed to find the link to the original Play Store page, but when I open it, it shows "Item not found."
Following is the link I tried:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrlines.daydream.baskhead
Chrome Canary is more up to date if you don't mind bleeding edge. I think you need to install it via the web store to get it on the device: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chrome.canary
For anyone wondering about the download link, here's the Google Play Store link of this game:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixelpimps.riseofthefallen
I may try this out this weekend, it seems also offered single player mode so you can still play against AI when there's no body online.
I've used this with a couple of non-vr apps, it's a bit tricky to set up. The developer abandoned the project and scrubbed its github, so there's that. It has some form of controller support, but its very hard to use in my experience https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app360.app360&hl=en
Hey, thanks for all your interest. It's released but still waiting for daydream approval, so it can be sold over the official daydream app. In the meantime you can get it from normal playstore.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pandadelphin.vrarena
If you have a Daydream-ready phone, and you can locate and install Daydream on the Play store, I can't imagine why you'd have any problems. The headset itself is region agnostic.
Generally I use Skybox player for watching movies and it works with cellular and wifi radios off. I use it on LAX/JFK flights all the time. Just copy your movies (non-drm) over to the device in any folder and they show up in skybox.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.skybox.player&hl=en
Hey! Welcome to Daydream :). I'm a bit biased.. but I released a game for daydream last week called VR Puzzle Room. You can find it on the daydream store but heres a link anyway:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.softkitty.puzzleroom
It's an escape room game I made a while ago but I recently added a second room and made a whole bunch of changes.
First level is free anyway but I'll send you a code for the 2nd if you like? Just be good to get some feedback really (hard to find folks with daydream headsets, even on this sub!)
I got my (v1) daydream a couple of months ago, haven't used it for much other than for dev and a bit of Netflix Vr, so would also be interested to hear of other good titles.
If you're into Tron you might like Disc League https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.VirtuallyInvincible.DiscLeague Use the controller for motion based throwing, intense disc combat game.
Disclaimer: it's our game :)
A big thank you to all our beta testers for Merry Snowballs on Daydream!
All of us at Hatrabbit Entertainment wishes you a Merry weekend! (and plenty of snowballs in the face)
Do you just mean indie games by small teams / individuals?
Homebrew usually is a term reserved for consoles which have closed software ecosystems, where games need certification and approval from the console's manufacturer to have the game published. It's not really a term on phone/PC hardware since you can install any apps you want without explicit permission from Google.
My game, Gravity Pull VR, I guess would meet your requirements. It's a puzzle game with a unique movement mechanic. It's kinda old now but I'm hoping to find time for a sequel in early-mid 2018.
VRTV is what I use for all my downloaded media needs. Supports SMB shares from your PC as well. The free version is a good way to see if you like the interface.
Now! Google has just approved for Daydream. Apparently there is another game called "Disc League" already on the Play Store so be sure to find this one. The other one is a 2D game. Here's a link to it Disc League for Daydream: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.VirtuallyInvincible.DiscLeague
But each app sadly has to build support for it.
It depends on the app. Some surround you, and with apps like SKYBOX you can make movies like "Avatar" look like you're back in the IMAX theatre.
Hi all! Will be giving away 5 copies of Eclipse Edge of Light at 2pm Pacific! Just to give you a heads up! If you don't have the game yet, go get it! It's the best Daydream game out there!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.WhiteElkLLC.EclipseEdgeOfLight
If you put the Gear VR service into developer mode* you can launch Gear VR apps without the Gear VR attached. The platform will fall back on the phones internal IMU and you can then use any third-party headset you like. The problem is that there's no support for custom optical distortion correction profiles so you'll have to put up with some degree of warping.
As should be clear, this is kinda silly.
(* if you're not a developer you can satisfy the prerequisites by installing SideloadVR, following the setup instructions, and using the service to install at least one app which will be signed with your osig)
I have actually done user studies with that and found empirically that walking-in-place reduces cybersickness. If you want to try it yourself download our free Gravity Pull game on Android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.VRMersive.GravityDrop&hl=en
>Google Play Link< Here's a demo for those who want to give it a try.
-CONTROLS-
Also please leave a post with the phone you're playing on and the average FPS you're getting. Or any comment you may have.
*Be careful to check your device if it gets too hot.
You can stream the SBS video to your youtube channel using the official Youtube Gaming app from Play Store (first force undistorted rendering as /u/-sxp- mentioned)
Another Daydream App which is not listed in Play Store in VR mode but worked with Daydream platform for you, this app use Daydream controller's clickable touch-pad to throw the bottle up and use controller's orientation to determine the angle bottle landed on the ground:
VR Water Bottle Flip: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.EliSchiff.Test
Also you can delete the "Art Plunge Preview" from the list since it shows in Daydream App now.
Without a doubt Mekorama is my favorite paid VR game. Graphically it has the clearest visuals (not all fuzzy) of any VR game I've played on Android, even need for speed or Gunjack 2 are nice but still come across as "fuzzy". Mekorama also has lots of replayablility as it has a built in level creator! When you create a level you get a QR code that you can share or scan on twitter/facebook/the web to get more free levels indefinately. Also the controller stick (not sure what to call it) is the best in-game control mechanism I've used to date. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.martinmagni.mekorama.vr
I had my parents and brother all try Cedar Point's app for their new roller coaster and after that they were all eager to try more. My brother and I ended up going back and forth for a while beating each other's high score on PolyRunner.
Yeah the Welcome app doesn't meet the criteria of this thread for sure.
YouTube app... good point!
I'm going to check out Star Chart right now.
EDIT: I just bought Star Chart VR.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.escapistgames.starchartvr.daydream&rdid=com.escapistgames.starchartvr.daydream
How is a developer able to create a game like that but be unable to provide a link to the game (either on the YouTube video or on the official site)?
This looks right, but the description doesn't even mention Daydream.
This app is pretty good for chilling out and pretending youre a dragonfly or frog. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fibrum.zenvr&hl=en
(works on google cardboard and i assume daydream view)
I am about to compile an apk - will post it there as soon as possible.

Here it is:

It's only specific applications, but Sites in VR has settings for chromatic correction, while Whispering Eons can be set to supersample.
I just restored the Google Play Movies 4.11.6 apk, and I have it back in the Daydream app.
screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/S7SACgB
Disable Play store autoupdating, and go into settings and disable/restore original factory apk.
Basically yes, but in order to really "walk around the puzzle", you also need to disable the safety region feature, otherwise the safety fog will pop up when you move away the safety region.
Does it work well? Actually pretty well, that's why I thought it's a WorldSense enabled App in my previous comment, you can take a look at my recorded video:
I use Home Theater VR, but there's a couple other options from the Play Store, as well as sideloaded from discontinued projects.
I dunno if this will help, but f.lux can lower the brightness. It's meant to work with time of day, but if you play with the wake up time, it seems to lower brightness if it thinks you're getting closer to bedtime.
Can you install an older version of daydream from something like APK mirror?
Much older releases near the bottom.
Let us know how that works.
I'd say it's more likely than not that there will be a standalone Daydream ready headset within the next 1-2 years. There are already standalone VR headsets like this one, but they all currently fall far short of the Daydream requirements. Google has encouraged manufacturers to make their own Daydream headsets, and it's likely someone will step up with a standalone one.
Edit: Fixed incorrect link
You could always try mating the new printed back with some heatsink material. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Graphics-card-chip-heatsink-copper-GPU-heatsink/32708177954.html?spm=2114.40010308.4.41.q1ctgr
remove daydream.. reboot.. download and install this version..
I don't have a gear 360 camera for testing, but I was able to verify that putting images on the sdcard will cause Photos on the Mirage to scan them and let you view them. You can also upload the photos to https://photos.google.com from another phone or desktop and then sync them back to your device.
Thanks.
I have been learning Unity3D for 2 days now and I really like it. Its very easy and intuitive. I made my first 3D game that was interesting to play with just 1 hour: http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/projects/roll-ball-tutorial
Yeah I know. I probably stay on Cardboard. Atleast for now. Oculus Go it's good for it's price so I will think about it. Btw I found LeEco Le Pro3 (https://www.gsmarena.com/leeco_le_pro3-8344.php), which specs looks perfect for it's price. Only problem is it doesn't have OLED screen, but otherwise it should work very well in Daydream. Now back to Cardboard. So most immersive is BoboVR Z4? I only used cheap plastic cardboard from Aliexpress and smartphone without gyroscope, so probably every Cardboard experience will be better for me. :D I use glasses too, so adjustable focus will be usefull. Thanks for your help.
Hmmm, try downloading the apk from an alt app store like Aptoide or Apkpure (*link here*) & sideloading it onto the phone. It SHOULD open from within daydream then.

Not sure whether there's support for the daydream controller yet, but if not it's probably coming soon. In the meantime just pretend your daydream headset is a regular cardboard headset and you should be fine.
There's a program called Vridge/Riftcat that literally emulates an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive headset. It's miles ahead of Trinus or Kino in every way. Also allows for Vive controller emulation and true scale and 3D geometry. You guys should look into it! https://riftcat.com/vridge
