oh, it is definitely a HS prom, it's all over the news on Russian news sites.
So here are all the images I found particularly fap-able, taken from his site. (See below for actual entire zipped collection)
I should learn to write scripts so I don't have to do this stuff manually.
Edit: Looks like imgur has a cap on the amount of images in an album. I may pick through them later to see which ones made it to the site.
Edit 2: Figures this would be my first gilding. Thanks, stranger ;)
Also here's the full collection of images because I didn't feel like finding which had missed the upload to imgur.
The story behind the picture:
During the flight to Khabarovsk Vladimir Putin instructed the commander of the presidential airliner to land in Chita, Siberia. There the Bair Banzaraktsaeva family boarded the plane. Father/husband of the family was a junior sergeant who died in the aftermath of flooding in the Far East. The President presented the widow with a medal "For Courage", which her husband had been awarded posthumously. Six year old son got a Christmas gift - a radio controlled car.
So yea, it was all planned out beforehand.

Markov wasn't the only person this tiger ate. There's an excellent book about this incident, called The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival. It's a fascinating read, and is full of information about the plight of tigers and other wildlife in the Russian Far East as well as human struggle for survival. Highly recommended.

Because US doesn't act in Russia's interest, rather simple. For example, NATO is an alliance to counter Warsaw Pact, yet it still exists even after Soviet Union fell and slowly creeping to Russia's doorstep. Ukraine was simply the last straw, so they burn bridges to make sure that Ukraine will stay in long conflict and will be too economically taxing for EU or NATO to take.
Russia proposed to join NATO few times before, and was rejected, put two and two together you'd see that NATO is still opposing Russia. So no wonder they don't like NATO (US included).
For references, see here: https://www.quora.com/Should-Russia-join-NATO?share=1
PrivateTunnel as I had subscribed before returning. The only problem is you have to set up the vpn itself using vpn. So I had to get free trials from other VPNs just to set up my account. You only have to do this once and after that it’s perfect. 35 USD for a year.
If you want to see this in action. There is an anime called Zipang that does just this, it is really interesting to see the war from the eyes of what a Japanese citizen would want to hear and see rather than what an American would want to hear and see.
The show is about a modern Japanese warship that accidentally travels back in time to the battle of midway. The crew rescues a pilot who was supposed to die that day when he crashed into the ocean. When the crew first realizes that they are have gone into the past they all make a decision to completely avoid other people and let history unfold like it was supposed to because they feared the consequences. But as soon as they save the downed pilot and that downed pilot reads in the ships library what happens during the war and how the Japanese lose and get nuked he decides to change the course of history in Japans favor.
This is the point in the anime where everything gets skewed to make Japan look better. As an example, during one of the crews recon missions there is an American ship that is headed towards a battle all of the Americans are blond haired blue eyed. And the most interesting thing is that the show all the Americans constantly talk about how great of strategists the Japanese are and how they just aren't sure they are gonna win this war.
However on the opposite side all of the Japanese captains that are shown in scenes are very put together and know exactly what they are doing and constantly talk down on the American soldiers.
Another small little thing I noticed was all the American soldiers were at the brothels and gambling and drinking and looked very sloppy however all the Japanese soldiers wore white and were clean cut and had very good posture.
Like /u/nikvasya says, there is actually a market for this kind of thing: A simple installer that installs a whole bunch of useful software.
So I'm going to plug Ninite, which lets you custom-tailor a free, lightweight application that automatically downloads and installs a whole bunch of useful software. You can even run it again later to update everything.

Takes too much force to spin the torque converter on an automatic vs. popping the clutch on a manual. Basically a fluid vs. direct connection. It gets more complicated with modern auto transmissions and electronic shift lockouts too. More detailed explanation can be found here.
The people commenting that JavaScript is "just a scripting language" have obviously never heard of Atwood's law.
And, not to mention, with Facebook using PHP (well, actually, Hack), can you really just dismiss the two languages as "just a scripting language"?
And for those saying that JavaScript is just a scripting language, I'm wondering, do they write code in Java, Scala, C#, which, I find, many claim that those three languages are "real programming languages"? Well, guess what: those are all JIT'ed languages just like JavaScript and PHP, all of which are turing complete.
Then are those also just "scripting languages"?

First you'll want to load www.ask.com onto your web browser. You can do this by copy and pasting "www.ask.com" (no quotes) into your web browser's address bar or by clicking this link. Once www.ask.com is loaded onto your web browser, type "Google" (no quotes) into the search bar then click the magnifying glass. After the results are loaded onto www.ask.com, click the link that says "Google" or "www.google.com" (no quotes). The Google web page will then load onto your web browser.

Yea. Why would they only encrypt traffic one way?
>Dropbox encryption uses 256-bit AES keys to protect files at rest, and encrypts data in motion with 128-bit AES SSL/TLS encryption or better. Google Drive encryption is similar; files in motion are protected using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption, while those at rest are encrypted with 128-bit AES keys.

Fair enough. According to Medusa^* they were fined and released.

If I understand correctly, this is a translation of his memoirs. I am confused by the phrase about "deportation to Siberia." But in general, judging by the reviews of critics, the translation is normal. Critics have written a lot about his patriotism and loyalty to communist ideals - this is one of the very important parts of his memoirs.
So I recommend it. I don’t know how in translation, but in Russian these memoirs are read very easily and fascinatingly.
The higher end Samsungs have much more minimalist controllers, with two clicky buttons for volume and channel, then a circle for movement. Back, home and play all lined in good placement so the brain knows where to click in terms of placement. As well as power and source. The mid tier Samsungs don’t come with the high end controller and instead have the terrible laggy rubber buttons that have to be brutally hit to get any semblance of functionality.
This is the Amazon link to the controller I’m talking about.

It's the other way around. Big wheels like this equals low torque, but high rate of speed; you have to put a lot of effort into getting them turning, but if you can get them turning (and it's solidly built) then it covers a lot of ground in one revolution, so it will go faster.

I highly recommend MacMillan's <em>Nixon in China</em> if you're interested in that trip and the political intrigue in both the US and China in the leadup to and following the trip.
Nixon saw an opportunity and latched onto it in his greatest accomplishment as President (and one of the few positive things) but it would never have happened if the Chinese hadn't wanted it as well. Mao was many things, but dumb he was not - the Americans would prove a very useful counter to the increasingly antagonistic post-Stalin Soviets.
I get them at the various Chinese supermarkets I visit. If there are a lot of Chinese people in your area, there might even be herbal type stores. Most people have access to Amazon I believe, which is available here. I think that price breaks down to 7 USD a box which might be a little pricier but if it is not by much, I think.
You take 1-2 vials when you have symptoms. Yeah, vials since one dose is a bunch of tiny pills. It is considered TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) which is often herbal, so it tends to require a relatively large amount of plant material relative to western pharmaceuticals where there tends to only be the active ingredient doing the work.

I'm talking about something like this. They are easy to put on/off and instantly give you superhuman abilities on an icy pavement.
Most recent findings I've read is that it was somehow sprayed into a teapot, and the assassins did a pretty bad job... probably exposing themselves in the process.
The original article I read years back was deleted, but here's a mirror of it on medium. Looks like it was also turned into an audio book.
The USSR and the US had their own little race as WW2 was winding down to snatch as many Nazi rocket scientists as possible. In the US it was Operation Paperclip. I don't know the Soviet program name, if there even was one, but the USSR did manage to snatch a ton of mid level engineers, while the US focused on senior resources, like Von Braun.
The mid-level engineers and scientists were treated much better than other German POWs, but it was still basically prison. Both the German and Soviet scientists were in essentially prisons called "Sharashka". It was a scientific or engineering center working on rocketry, nuclear program, etc, that was run by the military. They lived there and could not leave. It was a really strange situation where Soviet scientists, many of whom were Jewish, worked side by side with former Nazis.
The model was created by Sergei Korolev, who led the Soviet space program until his death. Gagarin flew on a rocket that could be directly traced back to the German V2 design.
Here's a great book if you're interested: https://smile.amazon.com/Korolev-Masterminded-Soviet-Drive-America/dp/0471148539/ref=sr_1_1?crid=13VWTX0AH4CZH&dchild=1&keywords=korolev&qid=1596025232&sprefix=korole%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-1
Does John not also say that it was a cohort and the Temple Guards? I extrapolated no further than your quote "they fell to the ground". I believe that my source for the Theban regiment converting was also in the Spear of Destiny, https://www.amazon.ca/Spear-Destiny-Trevor-Ravenscroft/dp/0877285470/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1508523652&sr=8-1&keywords=the+spear+of+destiny but it may have been something I was taught a long time ago and would require research to source. Gesthemane is between the mount of Olives and Jerusalem. Why would Jesus be there if not to stop the Romans from reaching Bethany?
Surely, the Good Samaritan would have only blocked the robbers if he could have avoided hurting them. The S-400 similarly only shoots down other missiles. If it shoots down an F-35, the pilot can sometimes eject safely. In any case, whether or not the pilot survives, it prevents him from killing hundreds.
edit: The story of the good Samaritan arises from a dispute over the meaning of the archaic Hebrew word "roehcha" often translated as "neighbour" but its root is roeh=see. Had the Samaritan seen a man being robbed and said "my life is not my own I cannot sully my salvation with violence" he would have no more seen the victim's plight than the Cohen who could not approach a dying man or the Christians of the west who condemn Russia for saving their brethren in Syria.
The version I read is that Longinus was a centurion (commander of 100 men) in the German-Roman Theban cohort. This was the same cohort that had been sent to arrest Jesus at Bethany. They had all fallen down in the presence of Christ. Longinus would have been well aware of this event. He was the cohort's intelligence officer who had gone blind but kept his rank. He was studied up in the beliefs of the restive Judaeans. When the High Priest arrived, carrying the Spear of Phineas/Pinhas (and Saul and David), to break the bones of Jesus, Longinus, knowing the prophecy that the Messiah's bones would not be broken, grabbed the spear from him and thrust it into Jesus to prove that he was dead. His blindness was cured. partial source: The Spear of Destiny
As a sidenote, a Jewish source which I read too long ago to retrieve was a book of the lives of European Jewish sages called "Love Thy Neighbour". There was a Holy Chassid at the time of a Cossack uprising in which Jews were being killed. They had fled to the synagogue and asked the rabbi to do a miracle. He said "What do you want me to do? Become the Messiah Ben Joseph? Who should I fear? The crooked Cossack?"
At that moment, a Cossack with an old crippling injury hobbled in and ran the rabbi through with his bayonet. The Cossack's name was Longinus. The book said that Longinus was also the name of the Roman soldier who had killed the Messiah Ben Joseph with a spear. Some Jewish writings talk of two Messiahs the Ben Joseph and the Ben David. None will directly admit that both are manifestations of Christ.
