Most people use an IFTTT rss feed to tumblr app. IFTTT basically just does all of this for you so you don’t have to code
But also RSS feeds take some time to update sometimes so that also might be your issue
Well I run one tumblr rss feed blog that uses one of the RSS feed to tumblr apps from IFTTT. And on my computer I have a browser extension for chrome that I don’t remember which it is, but theres like a million of them. And on my phone I have used Newsify which I liked quite a bit
Most of what's posted here, but especially:
better tag filtering options (and/or/exclude)
ability to blacklist author/story/tag
disabling of kudos button if kudos already left
ability to remove kudos if left accidentally
ability to set default fic language(s) when browsing
PM system
fanvid/art categories
ability to add contributors (like fanartists) to fic under other headings than "author"
add a "No Relationship" category since Gen is being misused and full of romance
Also, even though I don't read reader inserts, I think it would be really cool if there was some kind of function where the reader could input their name and AO3 would replace the "Y/N" in the fic with the reader's name.
Depends. If it's fannish original fic, yes, but AO3 isn't aiming to be a repository of any and all original fiction.
'Fannish' original fic tends to be stuff like original slash, furry fic, etc. If in doubt, ask a fan. We tend to know it if we see it ;)
Maybe try stripping everything but the src url? So take out the allow stuff. There's also a note on the ao3 faq about video not working in preview mode, so maybe that's the issue?
They turned it off because of spammers. Have your tried contacting their support team? >If you're sure you should have received an invitation and didn't, you can contact our Support team.
I can't actually offer you a script, but have you ever tried FanFicFare as plugin for Calibre?
The first link is to a forum-thread where FanFicFare's dev himself offers support, the second link is to Calibre itself.
But I have to warn you in advance: FF.net uses Cloudflare as DDoS prevention, so you need to keep FFF up-to-date and occasionally visit the linked forum-thread to lurk and keep yourself up-to-date as well.

I use a program called Calibre on my computer to organize my ebooks.
It allows you to sideload EPUB, MOBI, etc onto pretty much any ereader - Nook, Kindle, etc.
To put fanfic on my Kindle (I have a newer Fire tablet) - I download it from AO3, put it in Calibre, make sure it's got all the appropriate metadata, plug in the Kindle, and then click the very handy "send to Kindle" button.
Honestly, the main problem is how in screen plays, dialogue is centered but with smaller margins. I believe the only way to do that on ao3 is with a workskin.
That said, this is what I advise:
Find an online converter from whatever file format you write in (.docx for example) to .html. I use https://cloudconvert.com/ . After it's converted, download the file, and copy all the text. Paste the text into the rich text editor like normal. Click preview to see how it worked.
I'm not sure how the converter will handle the monospace font, so if it doesn't preserve the font, here's what you do after. Go back to edit, and make sure you're on the html editor, not the rich text editor. If you can use find and replace in your browser, do the following, replace <p> with <pre> and </p> with </pre> . If you can't do find and replace in your browser, copy all the code and paste it into a text editor, and then do the find and replace and copy and paste it back in.
This should change everything to monospace font, and the rest of the formatting other than the smaller margins should be preserved. You can preview it and decide if that's good enough for you! (I can also help with using a workskin if you decide to go that route afterwards)
Declaration Of War - A teaser for upcoming Harry Potter Fan-Fiction series.
Self-Promoting here! I've written a sneak-peek, kind of a trailer, for a new Harry Potter Fan-Fiction series I'm deciding to write. Please do read and let me know your feedback and if you'd like to see this turned into a full-fledged series!
Unfortunately they're still working on full offline access and it's one of the biggest frustrations a lot of users have with Notion. The phone app usually has a few pages cached to view offline, but the whole workspace definitely will not be and there's no way to make sure that specific pages are (yet) except to have them open when you go offline.

That said, it hasn't been a huge issue for me personally. If there's anything critical you know you'll need at a specific time (ie notes for a big exam or a presentation), it's smart to export them as a PDF or in some other format so that you can be sure to be able to access them when needed if the internet goes down unexpectedly. Otherwise on the rare occasions I've wanted to update my fic list and been unable to, I've just come back to do it later.
PS I love Alexis Ryan's Archive Track Reader. It's not duping AO3's name and it doesn't use AO3's icon. No ads, great filtering capabilities
What browser are you using? Do you have any security-related extension, such ass HTTPS everywhere? Are you accessing AO3 through https://archiveofourown.org
or through http://archiveofourown.org
(note the s)?

Down For Everyone or Just Me? Determine whether a website is down or if it's just your faulty connection. Also @AO3_Status on twitter gives site status updates.
I did a (very unscientific) poll on this about a year ago! The consensus was that the sweet spot was around 2000-5000 words. Findings are summarized here:

I agree with this range personally, although if the writer goes longer between updates then I'm ok with longer chapters. There is a fic I've been following for two years that updates every single day, and those updates are generally in the 500-800 word range, but that's ok with me because the updates are so frequent.

>The apps that have "premium features" the ones that make money off the archive. They're illegal.
First, my reader app is Moon+ Reader and it's 100% legal.
Second, it's not illegal to make money off an original app you developed, with original filtering features you designed, to navigate a publicly accessible website like AO3.
Third, I understand AO3 is a nonprofit. I understand the content it hosts should never make money. I know I, as a fic author, should never make money off AO3. I don't understand how an unofficial app with original, labor-intensive programming that presents AO3's data in a unique and valuable way, with a talented programmer's filtering features (like AO3's blacklist & whitelist features), should be held against commercializing. When I'm given a load of numbers and I want a buncha graphs and recommendations based on those numbers, I'll hire for it. AO3=the numbers, graphs & recs=unofficial apps. Unofficial analysis and presentation of publicly available data via AO3 (and/or any other nonprofit's publicly posted data) is completely allowed, and completely legal to commercialize.
Paywalls - anything that blocks you from either accessing or finishing a publicly-available fanfic - is the only illegal thing that an app or website can do.
Hmm... I'll forego the obvious question of having restarted your system. Do you get the same malfunction when using a different source (cell phone, computer, laptop, etc.)?
Or switching browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, etc.)?
Or using a different IP address (Anonymizer, TOR browser, etc.)?
