The left-wing group The Weather Underground or the weather website The Weather Underground? Not trying to be snarky, honest question. And also, I have no idea why anyone would be painting either of those logos under bridges, sorry friend.
Yeah, the white triangle is very distinctive.
The logo on his bag looks a little like Adidas' newer logo, three diagonal lines forming a kind of triangle.
Attacks were at Nickel's Arcade, Catherine & Division, and Huron & Ashley. U-M DPSS bulletin includes this description of Sunday night's attack:
>"A third incident was reported at 11:14 p.m., Sunday, July 18, near W. Huron and Ashley streets. A man forced a woman into a nearby portable toilet and assaulted her. The woman was able to fight the man off, escape the portable toilet, and call out to several friends nearby. The man fled the scene as the woman’s friends called 911. Officers arrived at the scene but were unable to locate the suspect and no arrests have been made."
Yo get a bright fucking flashlight when wandering around at night. I've scared a few people off who came outta the woods on Textile and started following me.
Highly recommend this one. Comes with a battery, USB charging, and is super bright with a shortcut to strobe mode.
So you're working crazy hours and probably getting paid handsomely for it, go hire someone to call around, order, and deliver it to you. This is neither hard nor expensive. You complaining on Reddit isn't going to magically solve your problem. Here, I'll even help you because you obviously overbooked yourself and do not have the time to do basic tasks, a link to Mejier delivery page https://www.meijer.com/services/more-ways-to-meijer.html and a link to grub hub https://www.grubhub.com/ Go nuts and don't forget to tip the lowly staff who have been so bent over by this pandemic and greedy practices that they literally haven't been returning to the field, thus causing the shortage to begin with.
As someone else noted, what an Ann Arbor thread, I love it.
Dunno if you want to, but Lehto's will ship them right to your door: http://www.lehtospasties.com/
Love me a Lehto's pasty with some Ketchapeno
Or you can do an IMAGE SEARCH by dragging an image of the house, even from one tab to another, and dropping it in the image search box. You may find that the same house is being advertised in 7 cities. I once Emailed about a cheap = less than $1000/mo house in Ann Arbor and received a reply with an attached form to fill out with all of my personal information.
You can buy Zyrtec on Amazon or at Costco for like $15 for 360 pills, my friend!

Hmm...Sandwiches you say....
I can't think of a better place than Zingerman's. It's awesome, A-Rod ate the a month or so ago. Definitely one of the more popular places in A2.
It may be a few more than 15 minutes with traffic. Without it's perfect though!
Having spent most of my life living in Northern Michigan (Charlevoix) and living the last six years in Ann Arbor, I'd take I-75 most of the way up, per https://maps.google.com/maps?rlz=1C1CHFA_enUS484US485&q=readmond+mi&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x4d4a646a67f3d19d:0x827db8b18da3f51b,Readmond,+MI&gl=us&ei=2MZtUPLfFpCK9gTXkYDgDg&ved=0CHcQtgM
Along the way, West Branch at exit 212 has lots of restaurants, an outlet mall, and is a good way to break up the trip before entering Northern Michigan.
Other than that, stick to on-off ramp gas stations for quicker travel and avoid Saginaw and Flint if possible for stopping points.
It's a gorgeous drive, especially this time of year, I think driving it alone is the best way to do it. Throw on some good music and enjoy the ride, it gets especially great for the last few hours of the drive. Hope that helps!
Weekend definitely hang out/walk the diag. There should be a lot of people out and about, hammocks in trees, still kind of cold but probably. From one endof the Diag you'll see state street, walk down it to Liberty and then walk down Liberty. When you get to main street explore. In fact, explore the whole walk. Then make your way back up to the diag on some different routes, you'll figure it out. With your tech support philosophical background, you'll find great places like Literati, Underground Sounds, Vault Of Midnight, and more! Don't be afraid to talk to and ask people as you're walking. We're all very nice. And if you are in town for a couple overnights, check meetup.com for meetups. We'll leave the lights on for you. Enjoy!
> Keep extra warm clothes or blankets in the car.
Emergency/thermal/casualty blankets in addition to a heavy blanket.
If you'll be living someplace that requires you to maintain a walk or drive outside, look into using de-icers before precipitation and after clearing the snow.
https://www.healthcare.gov/preventive-care-benefits/
As of this flu season all flu shots fall under preventative care and should be covered by your insurance. There are very few insurance companies that are still grandfathered in after 2013 and so regular immunizations should never cost you a thing!
While the shooting was technically off-campus, it was like a hundred feet off-campus (directly across the street) in an apartment complex that bills itself as student housing.
Also, the story here does not mention anything about what kind of car, if any, was seen leaving the complex at that time. If he, i.e., the shooter, was on foot, anybody care to wager that he lived somewhere in here. That whole area along Leforge is a dump and is full of thugs.
I don't know of any city-wide ones but there are some huge ones - notably, the Scio Farms garage sale includes the entire community which is pretty big! Coming right up May 24-27th. 8am-3pm https://nextdoor.com/events/mi/ann-arbor/scio-farms-community-yard-sale-2903170
If you really want to clean the smell from the carpets and surfaces, you probably want to use an ozone cleaner like hotels use.
Do not be in the apartment when you are running it. Ozone isn't awesome to breath. Something like this would probably remove the smell after 3 or 4 hours.
The key takeaway from that appears to be that if the pothole was reported and a “reasonable” period has passed, then they can be held liable.
So as residents, maybe we need to do a better job of reporting potholes. Anybody know the URL?
Would be it illegal to spray paint around potholes and date them?

even cheaper is wood spirals. It doesn't look as cool as a barrel, but the results are still incredibly solid. I occasionally age the spirits for a last word with wood and add the lime after the aging process. It's... insanely good.
Is there an official list of these restaurants somewhere, or is this it. Because I refuse to believe that they rated Potbellies at #29 and Zingerman's Roadhouse at #30
Sweet! I've been looking for a solid drummer to play with for a very very very long time. My cousin and I play guitar and sing. We do mostly pop/indie stuff. We both are really serious about our music (It's all we ever do)
So if you think you might be interested in rocking out with us, let me know!
Woah. Sounds like a perfect place to adopt plus codes which some folks cooked up for doing navigation in places where there are no street names or sequential numbers.
For example number 58 (which was hard to find!) would be 74PM+23 which even works in google maps.
It's sort of like latitude and longitude but shorter, more human readable, and harder to transcribe incorrectly.
(Sorry, I'm a map geek and I'll see myself out)
Yes! They do "open houses" at the observatory in Angell, and planetarium shows are a part of those. Definitely a cool way to spend a late evening.
There is one tonight (January 11th), as it happens: https://sites.google.com/a/umich.edu/sas/openhouse
Here's the post: "<strong>Young (armed?) man in military fatigues in Bandemer.</strong> I recall a thread (which I now cannot find) from a while back about a guy walking around the Longshore Drive area with a weapon, as if on patrol. Pretty sure I encountered this guy on my run through Bandemer Park this morning. It was dark and he was in full military fatigues, complete with a beret. The way he was carrying his arms indicated he probably had a rifle across his body. It was unsettling to pass by him so closely and I was grateful to have my friend along. Anyone know what the deal is with this guy? "
I read about a similar problem from the Arch reddit, which lead me here.
I run LMDE without Flash, and have not found a downside yet! (I guess not watching Starcraft tournaments is one downside :)
Do not listen to those saying that RWD is sufficient, even if you get snow tires. Driving in the snow/slush with RWD is horrible, especially if you have a light pickup, though I've seen small RWD cars struggle to move too. Unless the engine is in the back of your car or you have a ridiculous amount of weight in your trunk, you will struggle for traction and fishtail with RWD.
I drove a RWD for the first four or five winters I lived here, so it is doable. However, if there was more than two inches of snow (which is a very common occurrence here), that thing turned into a toboggan and just a simple left/right-hand turn became a controlled slide. Once I got snow tires, the difficulties were definitely diminished but still there. I have 4WD drive now and couldn't care less how much snow we get or if the roads are plowed.
My point is that RWD is doable, but your ability to drive safely will depend on the weather and the roads being plowed. If you have FWD/AWD/4WD, then you will be able to drive safely whenever.
And they make all season tires now that have a snow rating, so you don't have to get true snow tires. An example are these Nokians.
Lots of good advice in this thread! This particular reply (above) offers some good technical tools too. In the same vein as OpenDNS, I’d suggest checking out NextDNS (https://NextDNS.io) which offers a lot of capable blocking power, plus allows you to enforce safe search on common search engines and easily block social media. The only tricky thing with these DNS solutions is that it’s important to test them regularly to see that they’re working like you expect and to protect the network configuration you choose with a strong password. Good luck! It’s tough and you’re definitely not alone with these struggles.
Seconded on the under-sink RO system, unless you have very specific needs for the rest of the house. We've been using this one since 2014 and it works great, filtering out around 90% of the dissolved solids and leaving great-tasting water for drinking and brewing tea/coffee. I can pull around 2.5 gallons of water from the tank before it slows down, and it takes a couple of hours to recharge fully. I did have a plumber install ours, but it didn't seem that involved so you might be able to DIY if you're skilled with that.
I know Arbor Vacuum does it, I believe Ace Barnes Hardware has a service as well.
I was recently trying to figure out how to get some of my nice knives sharpened and opted for buying my own whetstone. It seemed too tricky at first and I wasn't sure of what stone to buy. I ended up buying a 1000/6000 combination stone and have achieved good results with little effort. I just watched a few youtube videos and figured out a technique that felt comfortable and worked okay for me.
Sadly, there is actually not a great Chinese hot pot restaurant in Ann Arbor or Ypsi. Even the so-so hotpot options (at Evergreen or Ybor Yan) are closed because of the pandemic.
It’s easy to make hot pot at home. I use something similar to this pot for it. Check it out if you’d like:

(No, not an ad. Just wanted to share an example.)
I volunteer at my selfless act. I would like to suggest you to try it to find best volunteer opportunities nearby you. There are too many online volunteering opportunities, nonprofit volunteer opportunities, and many more for environmental sustainability, helping kids, and animals.
Scanner Radio (I presume there is a iPhone app...) will allow you to listen in on police/sheriff dispatch. Any regular scanner will pick up Fire/EMS.
A couple of relatively simple things:
(Even though it's indoor safe, don't run it while sleeping)
Also, some charged power bricks to recharge phones (although you can use your car as well).
A camp stove that you can also power with the same propane cylinders as #2.
Guy in mid-20s here, I've enjoyed my experiences with meetup.com. No experience with the online dating apps though. We're in the same boat with not really digging the bar/party scene.
I have this antenna:
I moved to Ann Arbor in June. Since then, I've consistently gotten NBC and ABC. No CBS or Fox. I live by the north campus of the U of M. The channels I get are very clear but since it's only those two, it's quiet disappointing. Especially during football season.
The peppers mentioned by the other poster are something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Coste%C3%B1a-Chipotle-Peppers-Adobo-Sauce/dp/B095Z1HL58
The cans last forever unopened. You should be able to get them shipped to you if you can't find them locally.
If you're recently moved, any chance he could still be hiding in the house? (I had a cat that squished itself behind the dryer for a few days, after I moved.))
Also apparently putting a used litterbox outside could help, too:
https://lifehacker.com/lure-a-lost-cat-back-home-with-its-used-litterbox-1789542327
I've condensed my setup but this is what I do for my plants over the winter. Top row is succulents, bottom row are herbs that I'm growing in a jar, some rosemary, and various other things. The lights are strong enough that I can water my succulents over the winter without them stretching out, and I can grow just about any herb.
These are the lights if you want to do something similar. Each rack has 3 of those lights. Your bonsi will want to be fairly close to the lights, other plants will probably be fine further away.
I also have a pothos and a larger jade plant that I just leave next to my windows. If yours are regular indoor plants they'll probably be fine with normal indirect sun close to a south facing window. Maybe some added humidity too.
I got custom whitening tray from my Dentist and they work great. My wife ordered them from Amazon, which is exactly the same as what I got. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EKVOU2 Custom trays are nice. You just put a little gel in the tray and wear them for 10 mins. The gel is cheap and the trays will last forever.
You might want to try Ulrich's on South University Ave. Their website turns up two watercolor pads, both made by Moleskine, and they're fairly pricey ($27 for a "large" one, $48 for A3 size), but it's probably some nice paper.
For comparison, Amazon has a Strathmore 24 sheet pad of 9x12 watercolor paper for $12.
The problems with AirTags are they can basically alert the thief who can simply remove the tag, and rely on pinging nearby iPhones, which means you could lose track of it if they stash it somewhere with too much interference or no iPhones.
/r/ebikes has a few recommendations. I'm eying the Trak-4 that a user recommended, as it has a powerful GPS signal as well as wifi and cellular antennas, and can be hardwired to an ebike, but there are unpowered options as well for regular bikes.
Yes, they require cellphone plans, but they seem pretty cheap depending on your budget, and again, if you have a bike or small vehicle you spent more than $500 on, what's an extra $10 a month to keep it secure?
Veteran smoker here. I started with a pork shoulder (also referred to as pork butt). They’re relatively cheap and easy to smoke. When done they fall apart. Shred it for pulled pork sandwiches.
Whole chickens are super good in a smoker too and cheap.
If you haven’t already, I’d suggest a digital wireless thermometer. Something like this. Just out of curiosity, what do you plan on doing with a giant tube of bologna once smoked? Sandwiches for a month? Sounds tasty - I wonder if you could freeze it?
Best of luck!
For some home reading, two books that were super beneficial to me when I quit drinking (4 years ago) were:
This Naked Mind by Annie Grace
Alcohol Explained by William Porter
r/stopdrinking has been a great resource as well, there are a lot of people out there going through the same struggles willing to help.
Best of luck to you in your recovery journey.
I also had this issue when I lived in an apartment. I didn't work nights, but I liked to sleep in on the weekends, and our apartment complex liked to send maintenance people into apartments between 8-10am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
I tried a couple different things with varying degrees of success. First, I made a do not disturb hanger for my door, like in a hotel. I included my phone number on the back for them to contact if it was an emergency, but otherwise I asked in writing to please leave a note for why they were trying to enter and an estimated time frame for when they would try again.
I looked into whether I was allowed to install a chain lock, but my lease didn't permit it. I would read your lease carefully and see if there's language about installing a chain lock, either on the front door or the bedroom door. Even if it's only on the bedroom door, it gives you a little peace of mind that they can't wake you up by entering your bedroom.
I finally ended up getting a doorbell alarm, and this worked wonders. It attaches by sticker, so there's no alteration to the structure, and you can set it to chime or alarm when someone opens the door. It's very loud, so it should wake you up. This was definitely the best solution for when they have the legal right to enter, but they're not ethically doing the right thing by letting you know. It at least ensures you won't wake up to someone strange in your bedroom.
Hello! I'm starting to getting really worried after reading your post and the answers. Because in my case I've just arrived in the city (it has been almost 2 weeks) but I've already noticed that making friends is HARD. Some of you had faced this for 8 months or so, that's too much for me. I barely talk to people because I don't know anyone in the city, just my supervise at U of M - actually, I meet him a few days ago, anyway... I came from Brazil where is really easy to make friends or at least talk to people. This loneliness is driving me crazy. hahaha
I've already tried Meetup.com, but so far without any success. So if somebody would like to join me in doing something like drinking coffee/tea/beer or doing any sport like running/jogging/walk or even just to chat a little bit that would be nice. Just to let you know I'm 25 international grad student at U of M.
Hope to hear from someone.
r/learnprogramming is a good general start.
I believe there is a "code & coffee" group (if not several) on meetup.com - haven't attended but it seems open to all skill levels.
Socks socks socks.
If you have decent rugged shoes with good socks, you might be able to manage with those and a set of these. They work really well.
I know in the past that pretty much every large running shoe manufacturer has made a winter version of their mainline running shoes that have better insulation, and a different tread pattern. Could look into those as well.
I'm unaware of any correlation between early winter weather and late winter weather. And there's this speculation:
> February
> The last full month of winter is expected to be the harshest in terms of unusually cold weather for a large swath of the Midwest and East.
> Far-below-average temperatures are likely in those regions, with below-average temperatures also reaching into much of the Plains, Mississippi Valley and South. February is normally the coldest month of the year in many of these areas, but the outlook calls for even colder weather than usual.
I would encourage anyone who wants to get an idea of who I am what my goals are for the store, to listen my recent podcast interview with AbeBooks. https://castbox.fm/app/castbox/player/id1209853?utm_source=website&utm_medium=dlink&utm_campaign=web_share&utm_content=Dawn%20Treader%20Book%20Shop%20Appeal-CastBox_FM
I'm with the person who suggested photography - especially if you use your phone to do photography. Maybe use some of that money to get an additional lens for your phone (Moment makes great ones - you'll need a case from them too though) and a battery pack (I recommend Asker's USB-C packs).
Then, while you're walking around, use StreetComplete to fill in map details around you. If you're interested in architecture photography, it's a great way to train your eye to know more about the buildings at a glance.
Definitely get an air purifier (preferably more than one).
An ozone generator does a really good job of removing smoke odors, the caveat is that you can't run it while you're at home, or in the presence of pets/plants (you could probably run it in a separate room with the door closed, though). I also recommend air sanitizers like ozium.
Some background on what is going on:
The Long Struggle for a Downtown Central Park
Citizen's Report on Reuse of the Top of the Library Lot, January 2013
Along with the Border to Border trail, I do this 4 mile route when I want to do something small. If you have a mountain bike the Bluffs Nature area is pretty nice.
First let me say welcome! There are several places you can look for subleases, first of which is obviously craigslist. Secondly, and what I recommend, I would look on the UM Housing Site . There are plenty of cheap sublets there however it maybe hard to find one that fits such a small time frame. Finally you can go check AirBNB which I'm sure will have options as well. Hope this helps!
If you don't find something you like soon consider getting a temporary place on Airbnb. I'm an Airbnb host near downtown and we do a lot of business with people moving to town who find it easier to find/evaluate apartments in person. Also hosts tend to know the area very well and can give you advice about where to live and what to watch out for.
Link to my page, but I won't be offended if you use someone else's :) https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/3655355
[east side] yes, i had significant drops with T-mobile. One day , the LTE did not even work when I was out of wifi coverage. I tried resetting my network settings but that did not work. It worked fine this weekend when i drove to chicago. Right now, fast.com = 1.2 mbps and speedtest.net = 3.2 mbps. Still very sad, but I am just living off wifi.
We're still fundraising until March 9th so if you're interested you can still donate. Our trip is almost over, but any funds raised go towards next year's trip. Today was our last day and I can honestly say it was 100% worthwhile, I had a fantastic time on my project and made some great career contacts. Feel free to check out my blog I've been and will be writing about my experience https://sites.google.com/site/wingoasb/
I don't know the answer to your question, but I just wanted to recommend that if you don't already have an account on nextdoor.com, you set one up and advertise the sublet there in addition to the other sites you listed.
I'm in the same boat. I see occasional posts mentioned here about people needing a "pod" teacher. If that interests you, I can keep an eye out for new posts and DM them to you. I see these sometimes on nextdoor.com.
Best of luck - it's hard out there. Especially for people needing remote only work, or absolute minimal contact work.
Apparently it's called "Ann Arbor Hills." Here's the stub on ArborWiki. "Ann Arbor Hills is a neighborhood in Ann Arbor, bordered by Geddes Road, Huron Parkway and Washtenaw Avenue."
Nextdoor paints a larger neighborhood including the area north of Geddes.
I'm not sure what you mean by proper drainage. Sounds like you need one of these and for it to be checked/replaced regularly by the landlord.
But I agree with those who suggest seeking legal advice. If you could charge landlord $250 post occurrence then I suspect it'd be addressed.
I was thinking about this one. I'm still on the fence though, as I might want one that has GPS built-in. If I remember right, someone on here not too long ago recommended a Vantrue, which is what clued me into the one I linked. It looks like installation is rather painless and can be done at home as long as you're good at running cables so they're out of the way.
I just sent that as a suggestion to The Powers That Be Over Traffic in A2 using this form:

This is probably what you're looking for. There's a trail head and parking off Huron River Drive just past N. Main. The trails are pretty poorly marked so be prepared to do a bit of exploration. Some great tech stuff in the stretch near North campus.
I also recommend AirBnb, especially my place which is here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/3655355
If no where on Airbnb looks good try the A2 international house, its a group that place visiting scholars for short to medium term stays: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ann-Arbor-International-House/147990355269416
You can email Paul, the guy who runs it, directly at
I feel shitty making a blanket statement like this, but I think if it's in Ann Arbor and there are a good number of legit-looking pictures you'll be ok. I have mutual fb friends with the owners of this place so I guess you now have one stranger on the internet vouching for its legitimacy.
I had an excellent time when I drove out to sharon hollow. It's a bit of a drive but there isn't any light pollution and it's amazingly serene.

Yea, see that's why we don't stock things, what are the odds I would have a northbridge fan for some random board, eh? :) About 80% of our repair work is "my laptop R borken", its such a random assortment of models though.
We (couple- w/no kids or pets at the time) explored this option many years ago, saw a great place but chose UM housing.
I'd guess it's more complicated these days (background checks etc?) but the link has more info.
Contact the Program Coordinator at 734-998-9345 or email to: [email protected]
Another idea is Nextdoor.com; people post housing needs & are sometimes successful with locating something affordable.
Good luck.
For future reference, I bought one of these and it's saved me many times. It's nothing special and is a bit slow, but it's been a good purchase.
Since I bought a rechargeable pump, never needed to hunt for air. So convenient!

Not sure if this is aligned with your needs, but I figured I'd throw in a book that has been incredibly helpful for me with my child.

There are also multiple therapists in the area that do play therapy and use the info to help you with strategies.

They did have some (pre-pandemic) at AAPS center for family and child or that place that has early on services. The one near Eisenhower and Industrial.

So what I got instead of a generator is a folding solar panel and 250 watt battery/inverter combo. It cost about $300 all told since I waited for a sale, but I can also take it camping and stuff since all together it weighs less than 10lbs. It's more than enough to run the modem and router, and my work laptop has its own battery.
Ive had this issue for years with mosquitos. they made it impossible to do anything outside. Last year I tried so many different traps, zappers, and repellants but nothing worked. I ended up using this lawn treatment thing that you attach to your garden hose and spray your lawn with, it stops the mosquito eggs from hatching and after a couple days they were pretty much all gone. the treatment lasted a couple months before I had to do it again but its the only thing I found that actually made any difference. https://www.amazon.com/Cutter-Backyard-Control-Concentrate-32-Ounce/dp/B000PGE032
You can get a cheap soldering iron at Harbor Freight for $5 or Amazon for $10.
When I renovated a bathroom and took out an above sink vanity from the 50s it had a slot in the back of it. Sure enough, when we opened the drywall we found a collection of razor blades between the studs. Guess they figured they would never fill up the whole wall :)

When it fills I'll put it in the recycling likely, but I don't know that is the right move. In all honesty, it will be years from now before I fill that tin, and you would have to work hard to really get a blade out of it.

I've got a couple of these I really like. They use either an AA, or a 14500 (which is an AA sized 3.7v lithium cell). If you can find one, get it with the 14500 battery, which has a usb charger built in. This thing is small :) it also has a strobe mode.
strobe mode is super bright, and can be really disorienting, especially in the dark.
Okay, it's time for me to pimp my fiction book that no one knows about because I never talk about it. But if we all pull together as a team, we can crack triple digit sales! It's set in Ann Arbor with liberal drops of history.

Check out the book of Ann Arbor https://www.amazon.com/Book-Ann-Arbor-Richard-Retyi/dp/1947989030#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div. Super entertaining read of Ann Arbor history. If you do buy it, get it from Nicolas or literati tho instead of amazon
You can get pumpkin carving kits at Meijer, Aldi, or pretty much anywhere, but they are a bit cheap and flimsy. I bought this kit on Amazon and love it.
Make your own? Mini Ice Cube Trays. If that's not right, Amazon probably has what it is you're looking for.
I'm good at soldering (have soldered SMD parts before) and have a Hakko FX888 soldering station. I don't have extremely fine solder (I have 1mm solder and if you need me to solder some tiny SMD parts, it would be helpful to have thinner solder (if it's a few wires, the 1mm should work fine)).
If you're just looking for a tube and aren't too picky, there are still some to be had: https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Inflatable-Giant-Tubes-Swimming/dp/B00BAY7SNW/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1DJKN8LV7WACK&dchild=1&keywords=tubes+for+floating&qid=1594653374&sprefix=tube%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-3
I'd call Dicks/Dunhams and ask a human if they have anything in stock too.
i have two players, ones a portable and the other is a cheap reproduction boom box. As willing as i would be to get rid of that overpriced fire hazard and sell it to you. i’m not willing to jet anyone in person. So i’ll just send you the amazon links to best players i know.
I had one fiction book published and I think it sold about 30 copies, but it is set in Ann Arbor! https://www.amazon.com/Head-Over-Feet-Patti-Smith-ebook/dp/B07GLVBQL7/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=head+over+feet+in+love&qid=1576970317&s=digital-text&sr=1-1
It's a street food and is not common on restaurant menu. Look for this : https://www.amazon.com/Korean-Pancake-Hotteok-Beksul-Original/dp/B00MMRUID8 or this : https://www.amazon.com/Ottogi-Korean-Stuffed-Pancake-540g/dp/B00IMUAC30 and try it yourself!
It appears that the 35 gram limit is for carrying with you. I would feel confident in bringing home or ordering a large canister for home use only. REI sells 230 gram bear spray. I like the look of this one; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002368VJ6?ref_=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza&redirect=true&pldnSite=1
EDIT: Home Security System
Get the memory foam from Costco or buy it from Amazon if you want it delivered for free:

It's the same mattress but different name at Costco for a bit less at Amazon. It goes on sale sometimes too -- you just missed it going down to $250 from $450. But it's worth it at $450. Or CamelCamelCamel.com it if you can wait.
I have this and I'm a few minutes north of Ann Arbor. I'm just in a 2nd floor apartment, no attic, I have it in the bottom corner of my sliding glass door.
