Download the APK file directly from this website. It will allow you to install and the game will work.
> For example, I am about 100 diamonds away from being able to speed up an upgrade. I'd be willing to spent $1 for 100 or so to do this.
Isn't $0.01/diamond more or less what diamonds cost?
Anyway, if you are looking to reduce the cost of your diamonds, I can recommend the following on the Android platform:

Cool, was just making sure you weren't on Android 4.0 or something.
Try this: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/supercell/boom-beach/boom-beach-35-99-release/
Every time the game is released there are some devices that get caught in a weird Play Store "not supported" thing. Side loading usually gets around it.
Boom Beach now uses the native fonts for emoji instead of trying to render them (and failing hard).
This screenshot was taken on my Note 3 - I installed the emoji fonts from iOS 10.3 and they're displayed perfectly!

If you're curious (and have Root) how to switch Emoji sets I highly recommend this free app:

For devices that report as 'not compatible' you can usually sideload the apk. That is download it from a safe/trusted site and then install manually.
Here's the site I recommend:
Hi,
You can directly install apk file, if google play store is blocked in China.
Try Pureapk.com to find Boombeach APK file.
Also, you can find many tutorial on how to install APK file directly.
Here is a screengrab of the zook spread on my hit on Complex today.
the screenshot doesn't do it full justice of course, since there was some zooks lost along the bottom due to a flamethrower that didn't get shocked, plus some along the top killed by mines.
I don't honestly believe that the spread around the core on complex was ever this bad pre-cryo update.
You all missed the wisdom in healing your enemy's defenses:
"The whole secret lies in confusing the enemy, so that he cannot fathom our real intent.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
It is a very advanced tactic that most cannot comprehend:)
You need to be able to beat players with 7 ice statues with 3 to 4 offensive statues. It's that 'easy'. If you don't have that much ice you will be raided more often and can not get more vp. Edit: you can check master mordys yt channel or the vk channel from Азамат (link: https://vk.com/videos-145196408)
Yup, the optional update (35.133) that fixed Sky Shield display and iOS button size broke shields.
If it annoys you and you're on Android you can roll back.

Just visual, nothing to worry about.
You can side load using this:
Simply download using your browser and install.
I can vouch for that APK and that site (if that helps at all).
If you are using an Android tablet device, you can simply create a separate account on the device, create a new Google Play account, and swap back and forth between the two accounts.
If you are using an Android phone, you have to root and download some stuff to bring the "separate account" functionality into the device. Instead of doing that, you can download an app that creates a second instance of various apps without having to swap anything. Parallel Space is what I use on my phone in order to be able to make that happen.
Of course, you can also just download Parallel Space on your tablet, if you'd like.
If you're looking for a fun change of pace, I recommend trying the Single Player Mode play style.
If you're from the states you can record with "play games" Google app.
Or hit the app store and search " android 5 screen recorder"

Android has HandyCall
If someone calls you you get a pop up, whereever you choose instead of kicking you out of BoomBeach.
I play Empires and Allies, its a game by Zynga. The game is pretty well designed and borrows the best elements from Boombeach and Clash of Clans (troops don't die after every raid, and you can donate troops). Also has an option of resource donations which I find interesting.

I have the same issue on the BlueStacks emulator.
It does work on my Android 8 tablet and phone, but I cannot switch accounts anymore. Google Play sign-in button let me choose another account, but nothing happens after that. It doesn't offering me to load a base connected to a chosen account.
Check this out. https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=A78B28ECE32A06C0!123&ithint=file%2cxlsm&app=Excel&authkey=!ACZluJITe1Rt7ng It's not exactly what you have desribed but it works that way.
Hmmm.. i downloaded the x64 bit version of Bluestacks - installed it over current install of Bluestacks . Uninstalled BB in the play store - reinstalled and it now appears to work for me .

Try BlueStacks
Switched to a new phone?
If so, and if you noticed lower resolution from your previous phone - install Game Tuner and manually set the Boom Beach app to run in high res.
There is an app called "Mobizen" which lets you record.
Follow the on screen instruction to record.
If you google "draw on screen android" you'll see a few options. I use the paid version so YMMV. They do have a free one but it didn't work for what I needed IIRC.
Using boosted warriors on Tropical Terror I finally managed to get under 4 minutes. Previous best was 4:00 exactly.
Due to a bug/incompatibility with Boom Beach in the latest version of Telecine no video sadly :(
Supercell chat blows. They use the same system across all their games, and have for years.
If you want to have a useful discussion, you'll need a third-party app. Discord is the only one I know of that doesn't demand permissions that allow it to harvest your personal information and the information of every contact you have. Its free, cross platform (including web), and does voice too.
For additional entertainment, check out the permissions of this flashlight app with 50mil-100mil installs.
Here is the official FTC complaint [PDF] that the app "violated the provisions of the Federal Trade Commission Act" with all of its invasive permissions and shitty "privacy policy."
Notice the app is still on the play store with over one million reviews, giving it a 4.7 rating.
It is currently your own responsibility to be vigilant about permissions.
