So, if you have att based boost service then att visual voicemail app works. I have android and I don't remember the exact process, but I think it was fairly easy. Not sure if you have the right app. I have this one:

I use Wigle Wifi. It has the antenna symbol showing what tower it uses and it says tmobile
"WiGLE WiFi Wardriving" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.wigle.wigleandroid
I been with virgin mobile for years til it turned into boost mobile
I have no problems whatsoever with my phone
My phones are all Samsung... S9+, S10, S10e ... none use eSim or 5G. I dont plan to get new phones.
I may try Tello as it looks like StackSocial has a good deal.

It is the phone and the towers making life miserable. I did a factory reset on my Samsung, and it ended up connecting to LTE as GSM, which of course it couldn't because the sim is Boost's old Sprint network. I used Samsung Band Select and the built-in network settings to finally get it to 3G CDMA.
Apparently the CDMA/LTE tower behind my house has been offline, and they took the main tower I use offline at the time I reset the phone (it stays on Wi-Fi here, so I don't notice what it is connected to). When that happened, it apparently "connected" with somebody's GSM tower instead of the really weak 3g CDMA tower in the distance. Once I forced the phone into CDMA mode, it stayed there until the local 4G tower came back up.
Since then, I have experienced multiple times when my phone is roaming in my living room because the main tower is off, or I can't connect to it. T-Mobile owns the Sprint towers and despite the shutdown being months away, they are doing "maintenance" on the towers frequently enough that I personally think it is to harass users to get them to switch. The only time the main tower I connect to was down for a long period was after a hurricane, when the entire town the tower sits in had lost power. Now it is so unreliable that you could not use it if it was the only source of internet access.
You're pretty much limited to these 6 music apps. My suggestion is to download all of them and see which offer the podcasts you want to listen to. https://www.boostmobile.com/#!/shop/plans/data-free-music/ I don't use iheartradio but on the web, The Joe Rogan Experience shows up, maybe try that app https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-The-Joe-Rogan-Experience-27959911/
Yeah. Razer and Asus aren't going to come out with CDMA capable phones.
Doesn't even match their origin country requirements.
Edit: Hm. I stand corrected. The Razer phone does support CDMA but not the CDMA we need for Boost/Sprint.

Hey there! I just looked up the band support on the model number you provided, and you’re right, it’s not looking good. Your phone supports cellular bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 25, 26 & 41. Sprint used 25, 26, & 41, so your phone was fully compatible with sprint. This also means your phone is essentially useless on AT&T or Verizon. You do have a chance with T-Mobile. T-Mobile uses 2, 4, 5, 12, 66 & 71. Because your phone is missing 66 & 71, you won’t get the greatest coverage or speeds (& this is most likely what tripped the compatibility checker), but your phone should definitely work. I’d recommend picking up a Mint trial SIM card to confirm if your phone will work on the T-Mobile network.
Get a BYOD kit from a Boost Retailer or Walmart - There be one in there - It looks like this: Sprint UICC Sim Card Triple Punch SIMOLW516TQ - Samsung Galaxy S10 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PRQ4R9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HT3zFbP4P7JAY
So when they ask what kind of phone is it...do you tell them its a Iphone 11 or are they not supposed to know? (got mine from best buy and I know its going to be locked on whatever carrier I set it up on)

Thanks for doing the homework on this!
Right now I have the LG Tribute HD and I want to upgrade to the Stylo 3.
The LG Tribute has the same amount of memory and free space so I installed Appmgr from the play store I use the free version and I have moved quite a few apps to my SD card. It won't move every app but it does move quite a few so you may want to give it a try.
The Boost Mobile reps (in-store) told me to go to a Sprint corporate store to get a Sprint sim card. When I went to the Sprint store they told me they couldn't sell me a sim card. I ended up ordering one from Amazon for $17.00. Make sure you get this specific model: SIMGLW206R
After inserting this in my Samsung Galaxy S5 I was able to activate with no problems.
