I remember some apps being able to be transfered on sd card despite Google not wanting you to do this so Apps2Sd was a must have.
Also, insanely low internal memory.
Personally I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd All it does it takes you to the built in page in settings where you can move apps from internal storage to sd card, which does save alot of time, but I have yet to find an app that moves them automatically sadly. And for apps to move it will tell you in the app which apps it says not to move because it will cause app wigits to not work or other minor reasons that really shouldn't be a problem (so basicly unless you use that apps wigit or you need it to start up on boot its fine to move)
You can also use apps like AppMgr III which are made for this purpose. Will list all the apps you can move and let you know the ones that moving them might break some functionality (widgets, bootup events and so on).
I use app manager 3, it wont automatically move apps when they update, but you can move them all at once with one click which is nice.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
AppMgr III (App 2 SD) will show you the movable apps. The ones that have a little grey x in their icon will lose some functionality. Click on it to find out more or disable this feature in settings to only see apps that don't lose functionality when moving them.
I would suggest one of three things.
Ensure your next phone is 32GB minimum.
If your current phone supports an SD card, use it. Even an 8GB SD will be sufficient here, though 16GB would be preferred; this would bring combined storage to 32GB.
Use an app which can transfer most apps to install from your SD card. Here is one I would suggest
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
I used to have a Grand Prime. Had no issue moving all my pics, music, video and most of my apps to the SDcard. I always had to manually move stuff though as you can't set the SDcard as internal storage. So nothing will just install to it automatically.
I used AppMgr to do it. But this is just for apps. My camera allowed a setting to save all photos to the SDcard though. For media I used a computer to transfer to the SDcard location.

You could use this app to move your apps to your SD card. You can also go into the settings in Spotify and choose your songs to be downloaded on the SD card. Hope this helps.
It's a feature that was removed from Android after 4.x IIRC since it just ended up murdering Micro SD cards. They also slow down the device overall and it's not worth doing.
If you really want to ignore this warning though and continue on, this guide shows you some older methods of moving apps to the SD and formatting the MicroSD as internal storage.
App Mgr III (formerly App 2 SD) is an app that'll assist you with the process on newer versions of Android that don't support apps on SD.
AppMgr III is my goto app for managing useless files, folders, etc...
CX File Explorer is a great file manager that also includes the features you're looking for.
Last time I used a device with SD card support was years ago, but at that time this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd could batch move apps to the SD card as long as the 2 conditions i mentioned earlier are true.
The OS must support moving to SD AND the apps themselves must too. It couldn't move apps that didn't support moving, last time I had side for that app.
AppMgr III (App 2 SD) will show you movable Android apps[probably none]. The ones that have a little grey x in their icon will lose some functionality. Click on it to find out more or disable this feature in settings to only see apps that don't lose functionality when moving them.
I actually never used this functionality.
... instead when I needed to quickly free up some space by deleting cache then AppMgr III (App 2 SD) sped up the process.[No Root required]
Click on the "Apps with large cache" menu item and then the "broom" icon and the app will cycle through and clear the cache from all the apps. [else (since Oreo) you have to do it manually for each app - thus the process is slow on purpose so as not to be "noticed"]
Obviously not a long-term solution as Android cache is best left to administer itself; but I use it when in a pinch(in my case with lots of Android apps it frees up about 1.5GB)
... with my Moto G Stylus 128GB ordered today I don't see myself needing this app very often in the future.

The process takes some time - in my usage it has freed up 1.5GB - depends on how many Android apps you have installed.

I haven't used this functionality.
I use this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
(any apps that come with a Widget you might use, will break if moved to SDcard. As in the Widget won't be available anymore)
AppMgr III (App 2 SD, Hide and Freeze apps)
I've used this for a long time on a tablet that doesn't have much internal storage. Make sure you turn on the accessibility option to make moving apps automated.
Be aware that apps annoyingly move back to internal storage when they're updated, so you'll have to redo this periodically. Another nice thing about this app is that it notifies you when apps are installed that can be moved, and an exception list is available for apps that you don't ever want to move.
Use AppMgr III (PRO) from the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
It will let you know which apps can be moved to your SD card and move them for you. Note though, that less and less apps support running from an SD card.

If you just need to quickly free up some space by deleting cache then AppMgr III (App 2 SD) will also speed up the process.[No Root required]. I recently was down to 1GB & after running it was back up to 2.6GB free.

App2SD will transfer apps to MicroSD card
Get it here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
Pics made with the phones camera can be saved to sdcard, you have to go in the Camera app settings to set the default location to save images.
You cannot make the SDcard the default storage for everything. Apps will always be downloaded to internal storage first by default. But they can be moved to external with Apps2SD.
If you have media on the internal storage, you can use any file manager to browse for it and move it all to the external storage.
Right now I have the LG Tribute HD and I want to upgrade to the Stylo 3.
The LG Tribute has the same amount of memory and free space so I installed Appmgr from the play store I use the free version and I have moved quite a few apps to my SD card. It won't move every app but it does move quite a few so you may want to give it a try.
It's probably possible with root and/or a custom ROM.
You may try this app maybe. But I have no experience on how/if it works.
If you're rooted try the app AppMgr |||. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
As for files you can try Files to SD https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.bukacek.filestosdcard
No problem !
Yeah the internal storage was the main problem... Did you root your phone ? You can use some apps that do that
I'm using this one (I think you don't need to be rooted) but they said that it doesn't support Huawei, LG, Xiaomi and Asus phone with android 6+ :/
There's also Link2SD (root) (used a on my old phone) : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD
I never solved this one. In fact I find the storage amounts keep changing even as I scroll up and down the list. Only solution that worked for me was to install App2SD which lists them by largest-first by default and gives you a shortcut to the admin page where you can move them to the SD card - assuming that's what you want to do.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
I use this on my Tab A which doesn't have as much system space but a massive SD card. You can queue up all apps to move, (and when you use the pro tip of pressing back after you set an app to move, because it doesn't lock you in that moving screen) you have to manually go through and hit "move to SD" then "move" but it will take you to the move screen of the next app, and it actively scans what apps can be moved to SD card. I love it.
There used to be a quick and easy way, right in app manager, to see which apps could be moved to the sdcard and where those apps currently are. So, you could quickly scroll through this easy list and grab any apps that can move but haven't been and move them. For some reason this view of the apps was removed, I think in 6.x.
Just yesterday, I went looking for a solution to this problem and found AppMgr III:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd&hl=en
This app will show me all apps that can move but haven't and it even pops up a notification for any app that can move that gets updated (because updates always move apps back to internal which is incredibly annoying). This way I can stay on top of moving any updates apps right back to the sdcard.
Another useful app is DiskUsage, which will show you just what is using your space. This is good for finding crazy leftover messes. For example, at one point I found Skype (which I installed but never used at all) had 3 GB of cache for some reason. Ugh!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.diskusage&hl=en
I did find an app called AppMgr III (App 2 SD) that notifies you when an app updates and moves itself back to internal storage. It then brings up the screen where you can move the app again. It's a decent workaround.
Have you tried using:
I would recommend copying the contents of the entire SD card onto your computer, and formatting the SD card within your phone's storage settings. Can't hurt to try, plus you won't be losing any data.
Weird same thing happened to me. It's somehow not recognizing that an Extsd card is present. Anyway try this one - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
This one is a more known app and was the one in mind when I posted the earlier one.
Clear the cache, then reboot your Samsung S2. Also, you should remove/delete app on the phone that you don't use anymore.
You can use app such as AppMgr III to clear cache: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
Also, you can follow these steps and you will be able to move even more apps from internal storage to sd!
AppMGR III is the one I use for the exact same case
This has been good for years: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
I used this great little app to successfully move apps to my SD card and to clean my apps cache: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
Have you tried this? It's worked for me in the past with the sony Z3 compact.
This is the one I've used.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
Your statement is partially correct - some phones require root to move whole apps onto an external SD card, e.g. games w/ large additional files, like the one you probably have.
Try going into Settings > Application Manager > Find your app, and try to find an option to "move to SD". If there isn't one, I would try this app, this app, or this app.
If you're not familiar with rooting, I would not suggest doing it until you've done some research to learn more about it. Trust me - I've hard bricked phones in the past like my (dead) Galaxy S3 lol.
Kingroot is an option to root, however, I can't say if it's safe to use or not. ODIN is safe to use. I've used it on my Galaxy S3 to install the original factory software whenever I ran into trouble.
Don't use the file commander to move game data around. Android has some built-in features for moving portions of an application or game to the SD card. The specific interface varies somewhat by Android version, but these are the general steps:
On your Android device: 1. Launch the Settings app. 2. Select "Apps." 3. Select an app. 4. You'll have a number of options such as clearing data and clearing the cache. If your device has an SD card slot, you will also have the option to move data to the SD card.
Applications have varying levels of support for this feature. Some games will move almost the entirety of their resource files to the SD card, while others will only move a few K. I've noticed that applications that have been moved to the SD card can sometimes falsely claim they are not installed when you try to launch them after a reboot. It can take up to half an hour after a reboot for the phone to finish recognizing these apps as being installed.
While checking one app at a time is possible, it's cumbersome. The app AppMgr III (App 2 SD) gives you a nice interface allowing you to sort applications by how big they are. It even lets you trigger bulk operations.
Another option would be to root your device and boot FROM the SD card. For example, I have an old 8GB Nook Color. Instead of using the OS on it, I boot an older release of Cyanogenmod (An open source distribution of Android) from a 16 GB SD card. While I can't really make much use of the built-in 8GB this way, it lets me run the Nook with 16GB where I have full access to 16GB without mucking around with shuffling portions of apps between the built-in 8GB and the SD card's 16GB. Given the limitations of moving data to SD card in Android, I probably get MORE use out of the SD card this way. I can use a 32GB card instead if I want more space.
Older devices can easily support up to 32GB SD cards, while some of the newer ones can supposedly make use of up to 128GB cards.
Rooting your device and booting from SD card can be a fairly complex and advanced task, depending on how much work has been put into streamlining the process for your device. It might not even BE possible to boot from SD card on your device. Some research will be necessary.
I covered a lot in previous updates I've provided, specifically here everything is still accurate. It is def the most durable phone I've ever had, surviving at least weekly falls from a tall bed onto tile during the night. Biggest issue is still internal memory of 64GB is just not enough. I've started using AppMgr III / App 2 SD in addition to built in Device Care to help keep things cleaned, and more easily identify moveable apps. The other primary annoyance is that I've never been able to find replacement batteries from a reputable source. The "feature" of a removable battery is moot if you can't get backups.
If you're in the market to buy full retail, and can wait a couple weeks, the next version of this phone with 128GB memory, the Xcover6 Pro, will be released for U.S. market Oct 22 at $650. I will likely be ordering to finally have the upgraded memory i need. Speculation I've read is that it uses the same battery, so hopefully I'll finally have a backup if they still can't provide new ones.
Hay una app de Android que te sirve para eso
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
I've used this for years with success

I've been using this for years and works great.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
try this
I have an Android, I use this App To move and Clear the Cache.
I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd for managing installed apps
And for space usage insights use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.diskusage&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
Apparently they changed their name.
I'm using AppMgrIII. Works fine for me.
Try this
> appmgr 3
You mean this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
2 best apps on google Store would help:
AppMgr III (App 2 SD)
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd&hl=en
apk: http://choilieng.com/apk-on-pc/com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd.apk
Move app to SD card
is it similar to this app?
Does this work? (not an android user) link
None really does it automatically, but has to be done manually.
I've used this app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd
To help manually move apps to my sd card. But not all apps are movable.
I saw someone mention App Manager III in another post.
I downloaded it and it works great. The only downside is that you can't transfer apps in the background.
It's super useful if you let it run while taking a nap or something.
