Yes and no.
The Innovator's Dilemma is happening to television distribution currently, the question is the speed of the transition.
Clearly, in the near future, the majority of television will be delivered via IP networks instead of traditional cable and satellite distribution paths.
What is unclear is the business model that will become the norm.
Will is be a broad subscription model like traditional cable, but with internet delivery instead? See Sling.com
Or will is be multiple smaller subscriptions like Netflix + Hulu Plus + HBOGo, etc.?
Or will it be on a show by show e-sellthough model, like buying a season on iTunes?
Or something we don't foresee at all at this time?
Until things start to shake out, the media companies will continue to milk the existing systems for billions a year rather than moving to systems that only generate millions per year currently.
On the technical side, live streaming is possible, but difficult and costly. Consumer expectations are extremely high and the internet is a non-deterministic distribution environment that can't compare to cable and satellite deliver. We got complaints that the Superbowl was delayed by a minute when streamed when it's simply not possible to stream in true real time due to compression and transfer to CDNs.
In addition to the ping website hippo linked, I use the brave ping app (android only I believe) which always syncs up with the latest pings, regardless of the state of my PC.
NO! DO NOT SAVE PASSWORDS AS PLAINTEXT.
Use something like Keepass. What is does is create a hilariously heavily encrypted database that you store passwords in. It also allow you to easily manage hundreds of passwords, as well as having a search function.
A service like LastPass is great too, and have better generation tools, but are online. Now, LastPass uses client-side encryption, so it should theoretically be fine, but there are occasional issues with them.
And serious, don't ever store passwords in plaintext. That's just plain dumb.
Yep, you're right. It takes 17 days to a talwar 1.0 with unmapped skills and no implants, with +1's that come free from the dojo, and a perfect remap to Int Per it drops to 14 days and change.
Probably not needed to point out but the day would actually be the 23rd at 01:00 EVE Time (GMT), not the 22nd.

EDIT MORE INFO
I use these services all the time as they are usually nicer than hotels and have more lax rules and more flexible check out times. I most recently stayed here a month ago with a couple friends and plan on using homeaway next month for a wedding in chicago.
I found out that it's hidden by default. Here's a link that explains how to make the library folder visible and will allow you to load the overview in EvE. Takes two seconds to fix :)
Happy hunting
For the less tech savy people here, click this link: https://ninite.com/java8/ - Run or download the program, execute - it automagically installs/updates Java (without Ask toolbar BS) for you and removes (most) old versions.
If you'd like to improve your writing, I very strongly recommend Strunk & White's The Elements of Style. I found a .pdf of it here but if you are intent on writing, you should probably buy a real copy. English grammar (along with most other languages) is really just a set of rules. There are actual rules on when, for instance, to use a comma. I had a teacher in high school who drew orbits around unnecessary commas and drilled into our heads the idea that we should actually follow the rules of grammar rather than "putting commas where they seem right." He rocked.
Anyway, just a suggestion. The absolute best advice for a writer, even one "only" on the Internet is: keep writing. No one ever improved a thing without doing it.

>Oh and any recommendations for a decent headset?
I just purchased this, and I can't imagine needing anything better unless you play games other than EVE.
Thank you for choosing just that part to try and reddit-lawyer your way out of posting incorrect things. Cheers, you're a twit. It is in the text I quoted, and thank you for confirming my suspicions.
or
I always get that if I start an alt - don't think they've ever not been £7.52 :]
Have you tried using prepaid credit cards?
For example https://www.entropay.com/ You make a Virtual credit card, forward cash to it and use the Virtual visa number to pay for whatever you want.
In my country, our banks prevent us from forwarding cash to known gambling sites so I use Entropay to overcome it. I'd be really suprised if it didn't work for EVE aswell. They take like 5% as commission though.
i suggest compressing with virtualdub and ffdshow encoder with h264 codec selected if you're recording raw like I do with fraps, it drops sizes by an order of magnitude
My favorite is Carnivore.
Unfortunately I don't use cookbooks very often except for general ideas on things to cook, then just do my own thing. With Carnivore I was much more into following the recipe and trying out new meals, so it tops my list!

This should be a purchasable item that allows you to use your notepad while on autopilot.
I'm talking android, not no dirty Apple crap. Maybe we should take a collection to pay Pidgin to create a mobile app. Or make our own app? I am sure we have enough code savy people. Has anyone tried this:
