There's a completely new open world zombies mode called 'Outbreak' out now since yesterday and it's amazing. If you're done with the game because you only play to unlock dark aether and not to have fun that's understandable, but if you want to have fun even without getting a camo for it (strange people do that) you should definitely check it out.

It's a time loop, so it's a "new set" of characters that participates in it each time. The same characters don't go through the whole cycle over and over again. They're not immortal, they would age and die.

After Revelations, Monty sends Primis back to the start of the cycle in 1294 to fight in the Great War between humanity and the Apothicons. After the war ends, they disappear from history.

We now know that they get cryogenically frozen, or at least Richtofen is.

If this all seems confusing and hard to understand and full of time paradoxes, that's because it is. Time travel and universal time loops get messy, especially when you change everything and haven't revealed the whole story yet. This is also just my understanding, I could be wrong about things. If you want to read more about the (now outdated) timeline, the CoD wiki has it all written down here. It's from the massive timeline picture that Treyarch released when Zombies Chronicles was being released.

Back in BO2, POWER UPS WERE LIMIITED! There were a set amount of bonuses per GAME, and it was true -- not picking up a max ammo (aside from dog/max ammo rounds) will literally save it for later.

Hidden radios around the maps, cutscenes, dialogue, and Easter Eggs as a whole are where we get most of the storyline information from. Some of the stuff that you never hear about on maps was officially released by Treyarch, after Zombies Chronicles, on this poster. It's pretty hard to read but Mr. RoflWaffles put together this website to help out with that problem.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Treyarch also released a comic series that shows some events in the story (Victis collecting the Kronorium and Richtofen grabbing the blood vials specifically)

Basically a German experiment from WW2 failed and brought zombies into the normal world but luckily they were contained and killed 2 weeks later. Now a group of Russians called omega came and redid the experiment and are now trying to use zombies to take over the world and it’s an arms race between omega and requiem (the American group) to try to win the Cold War with the stuff they got from the dimension the zombies came from. That’s a brief story of why things are happening at least before Mauer der toten (once again just read the blog post)

Anybody can access the document in a read-only fashion, but you can request a higher-clearance-level of access to be able to edit the document. At this point I don't believe I've given authorization to anybody other than myself to edit it. Which is purely a quality-control decision. Can't have people altering the zombies timeline willy-nilly! It's complicated enough as it is!

When the timeline was first released and we released the transcription, I was getting community feedback on the few typos we had and then editing those mistakes myself as people caught them. It's nothing personal - I just don't trust other people to change a document that I headed up without my approval haha. This way, any mistakes are on my shoulders and the success of my product can't be sabotaged (whether intentional or otherwise) by somebody else. I have a level of quality to uphold, after all!

I'm so thrilled that the solving of the BotD quest has gotten so many new people interested in the Aether lore. It's a fascinating story which the storytellers at Treyarch have clearly put their hearts and souls into telling. And while the original timeline graphic from the Kronorium is a masterpiece, it's not the most user-friendly document by any means (especially in its original presentation with the magnifying glass interface before I pulled the high-res version from the code of the call of duty website).

I cannot encourage enough that people check out the original timeline image. There are so many intricacies in its visual presentation that you miss by reading it in linear fashion, namely how each timeline intersects with the others.

You've hit my thoughts exactly - like deep down I really, really, really don't want anything to happen to Maxis, but I can't help if the name "Forsaken" is just code speak for her having to take one for the team.

From their blog on September 21: "With Agent Maxis understanding the path ahead of her – and her own role in determining the fate of our dimension – the stakes couldn’t possibly be higher."

That sounds incredibly ominous in away, and possibly more so than she's just going to do something in First Domino to kill the Forsaken. I just completed it. I got kills in outbreak and die maschine. I was able to pap and warp to new regions in outbreak without any issue tracking. I had about 50 kills left so I tried die maschine. The new update gives wall buys the chance to increase in rarity at the end of every 5 rounds, so at the start of round 26, I bought a legendary 1911 off the wall, applied my blueprint, pap'd it, got my 50 kills and completed the challenge.

Also, food is a physical object which is not the same as knowledge. While yes you can say you got and object from somewhere, if you gaining something inanimate you would use at. An example of this would be a degree vs knowledge of information. You got your degree from your University but you got the knowledge for your degree at your University.

With regards to my example earlier, a lap dance is not a physical object; It is an act. You would not say you got a lap dance from The Konorium, you'd say you got one at The Konorium. Hey everybody just came to say that it's very likely that the full release version of this map will contain the uncensored swastikas, as there is a specific version of the Digital Deluxe which is restricted to only Germany and Austria. Standard retail release is still worldwide, as it doesn't ship with this map, but you cannot buy the international version of the digital deluxe in Germany or Austria, nor can you buy the Germany/Austria version if you're not in those countries.

Technically while all-powerful and omnipotent are slightly different, cause semantics. Omnipotent does mean that Dr. Monty should be able to solve things himself. The reason why he doesn't is likely two fold.

1) Free will. He himself mentions free will as the reason he doesn't directly interfere many times. However, he shows in the end of Revelations that he's willing to ignore free will.

2) He's likely not really omnipotent. Through quips from him, we can see that he's not as powerful as he says he is. The fact that he didn't know that the Shadow Man was in the summoning key despite claiming to see everything. He also mentions that he's having trouble holding the Revelations map together. These don't seem like things a truly omnipotent being should have issues with.

Go Call of the Dead for sure. Easter egg is fun. George is a fun mix up. Tons of room to run/explore. The wonder weapon is probably my favorite out of any of the DLCs.

If you're playing on PC - lowest price recorded for the DLC is only $7.49 a pop. They've constantly been on sale during the Summer Sale if you want to maximize your money.

You can follow the chronological events here on the W@W through BO3 timeline. But if you want to actually read what everything says, here on page 35, The Arrival of Edward. Also the Origins ending cutscene actually takes place after Gorod Krovi; same link above and same page, The Arrival of the Souls.

If you want to get further invested in zombies, I recommend reading the Official Timeline, watching the music videos, and doing the Easter egg quests. They really add depth to the zombie-killing experience.

For the sake of thoroughness, u/oxin8 figured out that the first three 5 character sets (JMUBA, BHLOP, IUFDJ) were put into the COD WWII Classified site to reveal info.

The final 5 character set (LVGE[V?]) does not work on the COD WWII Classified site. So it remains a mystery.

I'm not gonna say for 100% it won't be, but two solid points are: 1. The Season Pass description says it is "your access to four exciting DLC packs (via https://www.callofduty.com/blackops3/landing/season-pass )" and 2: Jason described Zombies Chronicles as "something extra we did for the community (via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zwOnvnM1Fw )."

Probably look at Amazon or best buy prebuilts, something like the spec on this one here should be good, though HP and Dell design their prebuilts to be harder to upgrade, so if you want anything better in the future you'll have to mostly start anew

There's a radio in which Von List speaks about the Egyptian front, in where they found something related to Kortifex's powers - and that the Krafft's task force still didn't reach, as well as some Egyptian statues around the map: I don't think that it's wrong to expect a new map set there (I don't think that there will be only one "hub map" for the whole game's Life cycle).

we did eventually get it. after 8 people came and went. Good news is that the people that joined us on the final step got the achievement as well

But another way to kill them is call in the brotector. If you summon him in just right, when he spawns in he comes down slamming like Iron Man. If there is a Margwa within range of that initial slam... It's dead.

It's called Survival because it's essentially super-duper lite survival game mechanics injected into Outbreak. Survival has no current definition in the franchise, as they've intentionally begun referring to what used to be defined as Survival as Round-Based instead.
