I have been playing CSR2 on Windows 10 for several years. I use Bluestacks. It is an Android emulator that runs under windows and since version 3 (now 4.2) has run without a hiccup for me.
You can check it out here.
I agree with SlurredLines (this means: yes, it IS possible) and my advice is to keep them seperate). I'd like to add that you can link CSR2 to a 2nd google play account on the same device (after logging off from the 1st one in CSR2). But you might have minor inconsistences such as being noticed for "new" crew activities where there are none - or the other way 'round. Or your level might be displayed incorrectly.
For all the others out there without a second android device: You can also use an android emulator (on PC) to play CSR2, such as NOX (https://www.bignox.com/), which I currently prefer. Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with bignox in any way.
The advantage is that you can play several accounts and even several (android) games at the same times in different windows.
Yesterday I had exactly the same problem.
Zynga solution ,.... rofl
1. Uninstall game.
2. Run recovery mode on ur droid, wipe cache partition.
3. Get this :https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/naturalmotiongames-ltd/csr-racing-2/csr-racing-2-2-3-0-release/csr-racing-2-2-3-0-android-apk-download/ its 2.3 version
4. Install,select ur cloud save !!
5. Be patient with installer, couze it crash downloading additional files ( it took me around 20 minz to update
the app )
If you want it now you can download from here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/naturalmotiongames-ltd/csr-racing-2/csr-racing-2-2-3-0-release/csr-racing-2-2-3-0-android-apk-download/ or wait probably to the end of season.
There is also MEmu ( https://www.memuplay.com/ ) and LDPlayer ( https://www.ldplayer.net/ - the one I use).
It is great to use emulators for people with older (slower) phones and without putting your battery life at an increased risk ;)
There was a tool created some time ago that supposingly could help but I never tried it / never needed it.
So not sure if it works or is just some sort of hack/scam/miner app ;)
https://apkpure.com/gfx-tool-for-csr-racing-2/com.kridstudios.gfxtoolforcsrracing2
it's an alternative app store. you need to enable installing 3rd party apps, and then you can download the APKPure app store from HERE.
once you've installed it, you can search APKPure for CSR2, and you'll be able to download and install 2.12.1.
So just a thought. I have a Galaxy S8+ and there is a setting to turn down the resolution of the screen to save battery. It generally comes not on the high res setting, you have to increase it manually. If I leave mine on the default the game looks like poopy garbage. Perhaps you can check that to see if the setting exists on the S9/+ as well.
Yes it work. Try to use NOX and then download and install the apkpure-app apk. Here: https://apkpure.com/apkpure-app.html Next step is to download CSR Racing 2 with the apkpure app and NOT with the google play store. Download may need some time, but after that it will work.
Yes, there is! Try NOX (https://www.bignox.com/). As my Samsung Galaxy S5 used to crash a lot, I was looking for an alternative to play CSR2 on PC. NOX worked very well. Note: My personal configuration seems to run into the "stuck at 99% problem" (you can google this, I still haven't found a solution for it!). Should you suffer the same problem, look for NOX v3.7.2 which I use as a workaround and which runs 100% stable.
Hope this helps.
Yep, had the same issue once, lost my secondary account, but prim got restored by shear luck. Lots of advice on how to proceed to recover has already been posted, so none from me. (would be the same anyway)
When you're on Android, take a look at Island. This helps you setup an isolated profile for 'work'. This can be used for your secondary account. CSR 2 offers the option to switch accounts, but messes up way to often. (it's almost guaranteed to kill your account) With the work profile you have them separated, but still available on the same device.
Don't know if there is something like that for IOS though.
Yeah unfortunately i pay. Twitter, facebook, youtube, reddit... all of these are blocked so a VPN is essential for me. You won't be able to use the app im using but i recommend using either NordVPN or ExpressVPN if you end up paying
I found a way to fix my problem, I downloaded a VPN, Betternet, and it worked! If it continues to say unable to connect server, just turn off the VPN and turn it on. Hope it works, please reply back if it works.
I don't know if the app is available for the S8+, but you can download Samsung's Game Tuner. It allows you to create different performance profiles for various games, by changing some options. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.gametuner.thin
A couple of possible fixes for you, depending on your setup:
Download Bluestacks onto your PC, use a wireless keyboard to play.
Buy these glasses, so you're not holding the phone over your face
Buy a long HDMI > Your phone connector cable and plug it into your TV.
With time and effort you could. THIS is an app that fakes Render ID eg GL_RENDERER and GL_VERSION.
Knowing how many android devices are out there, it would be madness to assess perf by device name. For the record I own a Snapdragon 820 device and I'm not impressed by performance at all both on stock and CM roms.
