>Kinda sad that these folks have to go in on their day off to do pro bono work.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pro+bono
It is sad that they had to do work for the public good on a Sunday. I wonder if the person responsible for this state of affairs will ever be able to acknowledge that.
Don't waste your money on the sticky traps or the liquid traps. I've tried both and they don't work. I recommend just diligently spraying nests, and avoiding free agents. Don't let a red wasp sting you... it's an INCREDIBLY painful sting.
Looks like he's using a very cheap red dot from the pic, he has no front sight mounted.
It's this profile, which is common among cheap sights you'd find on Amazon. Basically they're all pumped out of some factory in China and a bunch of companies plaster their logo on it and sell it. May not have properly zeroed but they are not reliable sights anyway, could have contributed to his failure.
I realize this isn't the most important detail, but it's something I noticed.
Mirabeau Lamar replaced Sam Houston, who was all but run out of office after two terms as President of the Texas Republic. His crimes? He advocated that Texas NOT join the confederacy and that Texas should make peace with the Comanche. Houston left office an extremely unpopular person.
Lamar replaced him. He immediately called for Texas to join the Confederacy and issued an extermination order for all Indians inside the Texas republic, resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent Comanche women and children. So much blood dripped from his lips.
Yeah - fuck Lamar. Let's change that name.
All Texans need to read Empire of the Summer Moon by Gwynne. It's the compelling, well-told and well-researched tale of what happened to the Native Americans who lived in Texas during the 1800's.
Used to work for a competing BBQ house. We had the same delivery truck that stopped by Dickeys after us. We used the same potato salad.
Okay so I'm responding to this and I think that is an interesting perspective and, to be sure -- I'm on my soapbox in Klyde Warren Park yelling at everyone right now while waving my arms around. I'm on a tear. But in all seriousness I did move away for awhile and came back because Dallas is overall a pretty good place to live. My money certainly goes further.
At the same time, the situation with these bridges and the rich Dallasites wanting to originally build a megaproject of super-bridges across the Trinity, and this built one is falling apart, is comic-absurd. The whole idea was ridiculous to begin with! waves arms around frantically But I've accepted my hometown and I love this place, but it is a ridiculous place. I love it anyways.
To add to this: One thing about Dallas is that it's really, historically, an authoritarian kind of city with very little civic participation -- or from the 1920s to the 1970s when the city was dominated, more than most sunbelt cities, by its Citizens Council. The city grew up on the back of white-paper industries like insurance, wholesale merchandising, banking, etc. It's not a port and doesn't have a navigable river, for instance. The main university in town is an elite institution, and on and on.
Dallas had to sell itself into existence. So the civic culture has traditionally been shaped by the elite (the business owners), and the level of public input on most things is still quite low, and the reason why we're jaded and lack pride is that most people are not consulted in the decisions which affect their city and their lives. It's a city that was run from the top down. I think Dallas is growing up and changing for the better, though.
Damn man i'm so sorry, people really fucking sucks but start posting descriptions of the vehicle all over social media, even facebook groups in your area. Make sure to file a police report.
But for your next car, please get a dash cam. You can get one for around $50 on amazon. I have this one it has a front and rear camera, but I got it on sale a couple years ago.
>The app, which is free in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, uses data collected by sensors placed at each security point that track heat and movement. It feeds the information into the app in real time so travelers can get up-to-the-minute estimates on how long they might have to wait to get through security.

Get it and set it
Tell Carpool where you live and work. Get matched with a fellow Wazer going your way. Share the ride
When it’s time, one Wazer picks up the other and off they go. Carpool Karaoke time. Share the cost
Payment is set in advance based on distance. When the ride is over, Carpool transfers it from rider to driver.
There’s cheap flights on spirit airlines. They’re like our Ryanair. Tight bag restrictions and all. They have a flight to Newark next Tuesday for $110 or to New York City next Thursday for $93. Those prices drop another $18 if you buy them from the airport counter.
Edit: you can fly tomorrow for $120 according to google: https://www.google.com/flights#flt=/m/0f2rq./m/02_286.2018-07-27;c:USD;e:1;m:c.0;sd:1;t:f;tt:o
Yes, it is your pool. Yes, it is your house.
Never underestimate just how bitchy and whiny neighbors can become. Take NextDoor.com for example. All it is, are neighborhoods bitching about this, that, and everything they can find to whine about. If you think this doesn't get attention, sorely mistaken. Understand that neighbors will likely bitch about your naked pool use, how it impacts their children, and even a petition may form which goes right to City Hall. Do you have an HOA? Watch the fuck out. Those HOA bastards can fine you to death, take your home, and do all of that while sipping drinks on a beach resort with your hard earned HOA dues... while they hire Jose Cuervo to do some landscaping, plant some flowers, you know - to make it seem like your HOA dues went to something useful. Jose is paid pennies on the dollar, btw.
You might just be surprised as to what neighbors will find offensive and complain about. In short, if it were a book of things people get offended about in 2018, it would stretch from LA to NY.
My uncle and grandpa have both since passed away and they we the only family members there that day so any additional accounts of this picture are lost. Grandpa was a manager of some sort at the Kodak plant where the Zapruder film was taken, but he obviously wasn’t in that day and isn’t mentioned in any of the history though a lot of his workers and coworkers were directly involved and named.
I have a book about the Zapruder film free to a good home. It’s written by his granddaughter and is a great close up account of the film and family. Interesting read on an important Dallas artifact. I want someone to enjoy it rather than have it sit on a shelf and age.
Update: book is spoken for, hope y’all enjoy
Did you literally take that picture from a $30 tube on Amazon and post it here asking where to get tubes?
Betteridge's Law of Headlines says that the answer is "no."
Given that she was stupid enough to give up an astoundingly good plea deal and go to trial after almost three years of coverage regarding this incident, my bet is that "no" holds true as the answer.
Circus acrobats into brutally vigorous sports and physical adventure, going out to loud concerts and festivals ... not exactly what I think counts as "down to earth".
Maybe you'd have more luck being a little more bluntly honest about who you are and what you need.
If you just need someone to play D&D / video games with, there's /r/lfg and of course Roll20 if you think meeting people online will help you meet people in person. LAN parties aren't really popular anymore, but they are kind of making a comeback. Have you tried actually hosting one? What kind of gaming are you even into?
You probably aren't looking for sexuality or you'd already know about the sleazosphere (either gay, straight or both), but most young men you might share common interests with ... aren't likely looking for "just friends". If you really crave socialization that much, you need to find actual groups that practice gymnastics / performance art rather than trying to meet individuals specifically first.
And of course, training for Cirque, you must be camped out at a gym 24/7 - so have you tried meeting other people who are equally hardcore into functional fitness? That's a fairly extreme lifestyle to have to deal with for most people who do not really pursue or have time for world-class-athlete physical training.
For anyone wondering, the shot with all the cop cars in the trailer is right outside of Cane Rosso on Commerce. Plus the shot of the guy with the glowing white hands was shot inside the warehouse in the same location.
You can see the broken glass in the double doors. I actually work in the area and saw that driving to work one morning!
The Chase building has a sky lobby that might be worth checking out. Just call up the building's concierge and ask about it.
This link briefly describes the sky lobby I'm referring to.
I had a rat or something in my attic once.
I called a company called Truly Nolan (probably owned by that baseball guy), partly (well mostly) because they drive these cars that look like giant motherfucking rats.
Car pulls up. It was cool as shit. Rat dude enters my house.
Anyway he's like "gimme $600 and I'll take care of the problem"
I was expecting modern warfare to go down but the dude comes back a day later and sets like 5 cheap ass rat traps in my attic.
He comes back a couple of times. No dead rat. No more droppings though.
I think the magic was in the badass rat car. That must have scared the shit out of the rat.
Anyway save yourself $600 and do literally anything else. Buy a cat. Buy a not cheap ass rat trap (I'm sure there are probably more humane ones anyway that just catch the rat and don't squash it.) Turn your car into a rat mobile.
Here is a great online resource I use: http://www.uer.ca/locations/newlist.asp?n=1&statfilter=160&country=United%20States&province=Texas&city=Dallas
They have fairly regular meetups where you can go and talk spots.
I will say that Fort Worth is much better for UrbEx, there are a ton of amazing places. If you ever get out there, you absolutely have to check out the swisher plant. One of the most amazing sites in the country IMO. Here is a video I shot there a couple months back: https://vimeo.com/39743019.
Hope that helps! Message me if you are ever looking for specific spots or if you want to trade locations!
Did you get an actual notice of lawsuit (filed service) or did you get a letter threatening a lawsuit? Or a letter from your ISP saying they got a notice and you need to stop all the downloading.
If it’s just a threatening letter I would ignore it they’re sending ten of thousands of these out to try and get settlements. If it’s an actual lawsuit then you have a strong case to to get it dismissed on various reasons.
If you haven’t already look over the EFFs website for resources.
If you haven’t already downloaded and signed up for a reputable VPN service DO IT NOW. I once got a notice from my isp about some DMCA takedown notice. They weren't going to give me up but told me to notify my household to not download illegally. I signed up for Private Internet Access VPN and have never had another (totally mistaken) problem like that again.

> have little concern for other people.
Yep the "Fuck you I got mine" is strong with these people. My Nextdoor app was littered with these same protesters going on about how "your liberty has been taken" and that the general "fuck you I got mine" attitude. Had to remove quite a few posts because a few moms were begging people to stay in yet these older gentlemen/boomers would come in and lay into these people with all the right wing talking points. Wasn't even possible to reason with them. Then we had Collin County Judge Chris Hill write up a letter that backed up and ran with the Dan Patrick's talking point that people should be dying for the economy asking for things to open back up. https://nextdoor.com/post/145901151?init_source=copy_link_share
Born in Houston, lived there for several years and still visit family. Summers there are definitely NOT better. More rain, rain that's hot as balls. Suffocating humidity daily. Gulf breeze? I never felt it unless it was in the form of a tropical storm cell.
I mean hell, this isn't even a matter of perception. Just look at the data, check out the humidity levels and temperatures in these links.
I actually like Houston, but to say that the summer weather is better down there is ludicrous unless you enjoy swampy, humid heat.
Google Flights ( https://www.google.com/flights/ ) You can setup reminders and it will let you know when the price drops or rises going to certain locations. It will also suggest alternative times to fly to get the lowest price.
You enter DFW (All airports or specifically Love Field). It allows you to narrow your search by Interest or Places.
Flyertalk is a good blog about travel idea and places to visit.
Also check: Orbitz, Travelocity, etc
I don't know whether you're stupid, pretending to be stupid, or just being a jackass. But if you have any interest at all in tracking what's going, you can right here -- the death toll is almost in real time via Johns Hopkins.
Or could be this other Shell station just down the road also on McKinney Ave. And yeah it's massive price gouging because they are the only gas stations in the area that far south into Uptown near Downtown.
I have this one in my car. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L9WSTEG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I have this one in my garage, or at least an older version of it. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-3-Gallon-Single-Stage-Portable-Electric-Hot-Dog-Air-Compressor/1000258241
I'm very happy that we Americans are free to peacefully assemble and demonstrate for our views, and that some of my loved ones are participating in this event. I do also think it is of interest that the notion of "inclusive" has apparently caused controversy among different supporters of this event, at least the national one:
I've been here, and while I didn't think they were great, my experience wasn't so bad as to warrant a public shaming. It's unfair to compare this place to Fogo or TdB because the price here is much lower. (Fogo runs $32.50/$48.50 for lunch/dinner, while Brazilian Cowboy runs at $13.95/$21.95.) Yelp reviews are hit-or-miss.
Brazilian Cowboy is good for someone who wants the churrascaria experience at an affordable price.
Funny that you mention the cheese bread, as I thought the Cowboy's cheese bread was pretty bland. Try making it at home!
Did you check in the Covid resource pinned post?
Edit: found it
If you miss hiking, go there. You will like it. I promise. It is a little slice of hill country in Dallas.
Also on a nice day go to White Rock lake and rent a canoe.
I am originally from an area with much more Nature, hiking, etc. It has been a struggle here to scratch that itch. But there are places to go.
Go see where the president was shot Dealy Plaza. Every time I mention Dallas to people when I travel globally they will associate Dallas with JFK for obv reasons;) get a hard-tail mtn bike.
Hey, any chance you've checked at a library near you?
The programs are free but they all have different types with different schedules so I'm not sure which would suit you best. Might just wanna start with going to the ones nearest you to ask? (Or look around on the site below to see if they have them listed. Not sure if they all post their events there, though.)
For example: The Preston Royal branch has one called Spanish Conversation Classes for Adults - Saturdays June 2 – July 28 11:30 – 12:30. https://nextdoor.com/agency-post/tx/dallas/dallas-public-library/summer-spanish-programs-children-and-adults-82392107/
Just in case you wanna try a free class/group setting :) Hope that is helpful
Just want to throw this out there, for $50 you can get an explosive gas alarm. As easy to install as a night light.
It’s different than a carbon monoxide alarm, that detects a byproduct of burning the natural gas that can kill you. Many smoke detectors will also detect carbon monoxide. The explosive gas sensor is a metal oxide sensor designed to detect natural gas (methane) or propane.
A hard freeze would help. But seriously..
I somehow have got the problem under control by a professional service but I also supplement it with this:
Summit Responsible Solutions Mosquito Bits - Quick Kill, 30 Ounce https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001AUF8G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rjPyFbN4GWBCM
Idk how well it works but anytime it rains I go around like a mad man pouring that in every puddle. Mosquitos love me and this is the first summer/fall I haven’t bathed in bug spray.
Not sure what your current situation is, but I would recommend checking out https://www.healthcare.gov/get-coverage/
I remember reading awhile back that Texas rejected the Medicaid expansion which left the state without $100B in federal funds. (CNBC 2015)
> They're in debt up to their eyeballs, that's how
Yep, didn't a story just come out that said something like 62% of the people are one paycheck away from being out on the street. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/most-americans-are-one-paycheck-away-from-the-street-2015-01-07
I see this on my block which is about the same price range as yours. Just people up to their eyes in debt.
Happy Friday, we made it guys. This weekend looks nice, I'm going to make it a point to do some outdoor activities before the shit ton of mega rain hits next week. Patios, here I come!
Rockwall has plenty of available appointments Monday if anybody is looking. Here
At 11:30am the tops of the storm just south of Dallas are 50,000 feet with large hail. The storms west of Dallas are 35,000 - 45,000 with hail. Uh oh.
Do you know exactly what you want? Have you driven the vehicle you are interested in? If so, get on the dealers website and get the stock# of the car you want. Email the internet manager with the stock number and ask for the “Out the door” price. Make sure that is the final price. It should include tax, title, and license. If you are looking for a very specific car that only one dealer in town has, it will make it harder to do this. The dealer who has this car will lock it from other dealers for “Dealer Trades”.
Some dealers quote you the final price based on MSRP, but when you get to the dealership they add on the aftermarket things like tint/VIN etching/Paint protection. The internet guy’s job is to get you in the door with the lowest price. Some can be shady and do what I said above, so be careful.
Lowest one wins. Show the other dealers the other guys lowest price and see if they can beat it. They usually will.
You get better deals at the end of the month.
If you are financing, have that rate locked/preapproved with a credit union before you buy the car.
You do not have to buy extended warranties, GAP, L&D, wheel protection, etc to get ford special interest rates. If they try to say that is the only way to get that rate, tell them that it’s illegal. Here is a good article about things to watch out for
What car/truck/suv are you looking into buying?
Source: Worked in F&I, and sold cars for a few years.
Edit: Also try True Car Its a good tool for looking for new car prices. Warning: when you give them your info for the pricing, they send it out to the dealers in the area. So your phone will shortly start blowing up.
They're far, far better than Radio Shack. Much larger stores with better selection and (if the Houston Micro center is anything to go by) knowledgeable employees.
Let me put it this way. I just ordered my first Raspberry Pi a few days ago (a popular $35 credit-card sized computer) to start getting into tinkering with electronics, and I still don't give a damn about this news other than empathy for the people losing their jobs. For years now, there have been much better stores for this kind of thing, and obviously there are online stores as well.
So the dolphin is actually not part of the window. You can see the tree placed on the ledge of the window. The dolphin is an ornament hung on the tree. Your best option may be something on Amazon. Not sure if you are looking for a queen or a king, but these are pretty affordable.
If you need a frame, they make those too.
Have you seen the pepper spray bracelets? One of my friends is a runner and wears it for protection. You can get it on amazon!

> I can't find any details on how this is going to work for trains though. ... Or will fare enforcement be able to read your card to verify you swiped it before entering?
If it works like every other mass transit system I've used, you will tap on before entering the train, tap off when exiting, and fare enforcement will have mobile readers that can tell whether the card is tapped on or off. (In Seattle, fare enforcement has started using basic Android phones with what looks like a customized version of FareBot.)
Texas Artillery CSA is not very descriptive. Here’s a page of all Texas artillery units in the CSA. Found my family name in there, now I need to dig into that.
Funny how he provides no evidence to back his claims outside of a google doc with almost no citations.

Its just some guy bitching.
So you're protesting that they shouldn't be called ignorant just because they lack knowledge about reality and are substituting propaganda and wild speculation? That's pretty much the dictionary definition of ignorance
You can read the opposing editorial, from a proponent of the toll road here: http://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/latest-columns/20150405-al-petrasek-building-the-trinity-parkway-is-the-right-thing-to-do.ece
Although the Dallas Morning News failed to disclose that Al Petrasek is (was?) Vice President at HDR Engineering, a firm commonly associated with work contracts of the NTTA, and one that has hired former Dallas city managers. HDR has even developed presentations for the proposed Trinity Toll Road project, etc. https://www.linkedin.com/pub/al-petrasek/48/978/314

Assuming you will base out of the downtown area...
Pubs => Ginger Man
Food => Twisted Root / Cowboy Chow
Comedy Clubs => Pocket Sandwich Theater, Pete's Dueling Pianos, The Improv, Watertower Theater
Shopping => Galleria, Grapevine Mills, Allen Outlet (pretty far north)
Culture => DMA, Symphony, Winspear Opera House, 6th Floor Museum, Dallas Aquarium (almost a zoo, not just water animals), Dallas Zoo, Dallas Arboretum
Miscellaneous => "Greenville Avenue", "Uptown", "West End", "Deep Ellum", 560, Medieval Times
You won't have to dodge bullets anywhere in Dallas... well... anywhere that has more than a Motel 6.

Ohh you're pretty close to my favorite park, Arbor Hills! When you get a car (or if you want to walk that far) check it out:
It is analog. If you can't find a cheap scanner you can grab one of these for about 30 bucks. Keep in mind it is illegal to use this to transmit unless your have a license from the FCC.
If you have a length of hose, it is easy to drain the water out of your hot water heater. That's 40-60 gallons of water, and it's already there.
Buy something like this, with a sprayer on the end.
You might try having as many teachers as possible wear a hazmat suit?
Good questions!
Weather is a real concern since we're in Tornado Alley. Most RV parks have a storm-proof shelter, usually the laundry room, rec room, office, etc. You know, we have tens of thousands of people living in mobile homes in DFW. It's all a gamble. When we buy land we're buying one of these.
Our RV is all-weather. It has exceptional insulation and two air conditioning units, heater ducted through the floor, etc. Some RVs are not good for extremely hot or cold weather, so consider that if you do this.
Our 5th wheel has more bathrooms than our house. :) 2 vs. 1, no joke.
Yeah, sex... heh. Uh, it's difficult. When this trailer's rockin' don't come knockin'.
But really, a good RV has leveling jacks that keep them really stationary. We aren't too heavy and I don't pound too hard. wink.
Thanks for the questions.
Here's your article. Long story short, it definitely isn't just you.
(for the unadventurous clickers: Weather Channel article talking about how cold Arctic air has largely stayed north this year, increasing sea ice and causing warmer temperatures down south)
I'm an investment realtor! If you want a quick cash grab right now, join the vultures and pick off damaged homes from the recent tornados in Garland/Rowlett once their insurance check cashes. Level the house and sell the lot back to secondary investors or profit share with a small builder.
You can also pick up rentals in Plano/Frisco but don't expect to find any "good deal fixer uppers". Even the distressed properties are going for near retail value with no palpable spread whatsoever. The good news is that you won't have any issues finding tenants. There are certain pockets that you can still find diamonds in the rough in but that's probably beyond the scope of this reply. PM me if you have any specific questions.
I have the camera I posted the link for and it’s $30 off currently and does both front and back recording. I bought it for Christmas as a gift to myself and on New Year’s Day at 2 am it already payed for itself when I was hit. Insurance from the other person claimed responsibility in less than 2 days. Definitely worth every penny.
This option is for if you're working at DFW Airport.
There are several affordable options near the Centreport/DFW Airport TRE station. I had a 1BR at CentreOaks (across the street from the TRE station) for about 8 months while commuting from LAS. It was affordable, decent, and the office staff were nice. Never had issues there. It just wasn't anything special.
Mon.-Sat., there's a shuttle that runs to/from the airport at that station during train operating hours. On Sundays, it's a 6 mile bike ride (if you use the long way that Google Maps suggests for biking)to the Remote South parking facility where buses run every 15 min or so to the terminals.
I liked Force Awakens and Solo was actually surprisingly not that bad (here's my review for Solo https://letterboxd.com/dexxbateman/film/solo-a-star-wars-story/ ) Last Jedi and Rogue One are both bad imo, but they aren't so bad they're good. Bad movie night is for watching movies that are so bad that they end up being funny, Last Jedi and Rogue One are just boring.
The only song I could find that sort of matched that description is a country song sung by a guy- "On the Back Streets of Dallas", sung by Carl Mann.
It's not on YouTube or Spotify, but if you look at the AllMusic review of his box set you can hear a brief snippet. This might be enough to help you figure out if this is at least the same song. http://www.allmusic.com/album/mona-lisa-mw0000108040
What station did you hear this on? They could probably help you out.
There's more info on the facebook discussion, but the whole thing is kind of seems poorly planned-out, to be honest. Ideally, it'll last as long as it possibly can.
Privately owned. That's probably what the whole area looked like along the Trinity before it was developed.
We have the 6000 acre Trinity Forest, and the Spring Creek forest in Garland. Lots of urban forest for the grassy plains.
I think it's here.
According to Google, North Dallas is the area bound by LBJ, Central, NW Highway, and DNT. Who knows how they came up with that but it seems about right.
This looks easy to install. It hooks to the back of your stereo where the antenna connects. I'm guessing you connect the antenna to this. And the switch is to switch from antenna to aux.
Sorry for the long link
Texas has officially opened up to 1b. I'm in Tarrant, so idk but tarrant county had vaccinated some 1b, as has Collin and Denton, which I know because I have friends who are old enough and got it.
https://dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/immunize/vaccine.aspx Texas site saying 1b
Dallas' site is still saying only top priority 1b are getting it, but you can sign up to at least be in line https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=rc-tUfFynEeyj1JBLgQBS27MxRuhoUxLlfv_l-XuFzdUQldDQUIxMzlKV0FIMlRTSlVUUURVUVlXSi4u&wdLOR=c49299A6F-A592-CC4C-9739-3FE42E328E1E
Yup got the perfect thing for your friend. If they have any interest in the IT field, a perfect job would be a NOC (network operations center) technician. Great entry level job that has shift work 24/7 365 days a year. NOC Jobs
Not sure if she would enjoy this type of work - but looking outside of traditional education she could probably pick up a job quickly as a corporate trainer.
edit: Sorry - posted too soon, it sounds like you are already on the right track. I'll check open positions at my company and post if anythings available. We are in Irving and pay's decent and benefits are better then good.
The goodwill computer center has a lot of Nintendo gear.
It sounds like experience is your big handicap right now. Work with temp agencies and recruiters to get some more time under your belt.
Also, make sure you're learning. The CCNA tells me you can pass two tests, but nothing about what you actually know. You need to know all that material backward and forward.
You should be setting up a lab on a spare computer using GNS3. You have no idea how many people I've done phone screens for who don't have any kind of lab at home. That tells me they've passed a test and then just quit trying to get better.
Make sure you're tailoring your resume to the job you're applying for. As a network engineering manager who's looking for LAN and WAN guys, I get a ton of resumes here in DFW for guys with lots of experience. In Telco. I know they're sending the same resume to me and 100 other people and not even looking at the job description. Because of that, I have no idea if they're a good candidate because those resumes go in the trash.
Widen your job search to make sure you're catching all the possibilities. NOC is a good entry point, but also look for jobs as a DC Technician doing rack and stack on servers and gear.
Also remember that we're edging up to the end of Q4. A lot of people have had their hiring budgets for the year frozen or they're expended and, even if they are hiring, some managers are unwilling to take someone on right now knowing that they'll have a 2-3 month gap in being onboarded because of all the vacation being taken right now. If I hire you right now, it's at least two weeks for HR to get you into the system, a week to get you a laptop issued and now you're walking in the office as everyone else is walking out for turkey day.
Hope that helps.

The professional grade stuff lasts longer (talstar, bifen i/t, etc) but much more expensive. Apply once a month and those suckers (and 99% of bugs) are gone for 30 days. For mosquitos in particular be sure to spray shaded areas and under shrubs and bushes as that's where they like to camp out during the day.
Approaching property management is a good start but might not solve your problem at this stage of an infestation. Once you’ve contacted them the pest control firm will likely ask you to empty out all cabinetry/pantry in kitchen and will check for areas to seal and treat with chemicals. In a single family home, this would be a start. The problem is the bugs move among the units. So if your neighbors aren’t taking care of business, you are going to have a hard time clearing the roaches out.
There are several DIY products you can purchase from Amazon to take some action immediately. This line of products is good- they also have bait stations that might be worth a try.

You can get mirrored electrostatic window tint, it goes on without wetting it and is removable. That will help a whole lot on the sliding door. https://www.amazon.com/Daytime-Privacy-Non-Adhesive-Decorative-Control/dp/B076NV3RR9/
I use a suction cup device on my windshield. It leaks very slowly in cool weather, falling off maybe once in 6 months. Then in the summer it leaks more, falling off every 1 or 2 months. That's just a cheap one I got off of Amazon, like this one.
Actually, The Total Money Makeover, one of my favorite books and helped me get out of debt, may be a good purchase. Start great money habits early. Great idea my sisters dad (her name is Ashlee...close but no cigar)

Truly sad. A few comments in this thread made mention of Uber and Lyft, and how there is no excuse to drive drunk anymore. This article on Medium makes that point, and references the victim: "Uber and Lyft should make it their mission to end drunk driving."
This. The Dallas Police Department have made a statement on their facebook page. The OD people helped as much as they could. This doesn't in any way affect OD as far as we could tell.
Of course. Any argument can turn into a pedantic conversation about might, could, should, may, if, will, etc. Congratulations on being technically correct. One internet point for you.
The FCC is serious business. Violating a FCC regulation is different then speeding. Here's the most recent that I have heard of: http://www.cnet.com/news/man-put-cell-phone-jammer-in-car-to-stop-driver-calls-fcc-says/
I love this place
KAZE Sushi and Hibachi Restaurant
Friendly atmosphere, great food, prices are good and portion size will fill you up.
Heres a spreadsheet I made while comparing plans.
Note that these were for my zip code, 76226, and I haven't double-checked my calculations so I may have done it wrong. You can see the data on one sheet and the graph on another.
There was a guy in my neighborhood flashing people and masterbating. I’m not far from oaklawn / tollway. I wonder if it’s the same dude.
Here is a post with a pic of him on NextDoor: https://nextdoor.com/p/fyT3_dXTWkC9?utm_source=share&extras=NTgxOTYx
Ha! I forgot it's Friday. It's been a hectic week, but it's nearly closed out. I'm 3D printing in marble-colored filament right now and found out today that the Louvre publishes 3D renders of their statues for free.
I've never tried to print a bust before (they're tricky), but I think a friend is getting Aristotle for Christmas.
Delta Charlie's Bar & Grill at Dallas Executive Airport offers a dinner and flight that's pretty popular. You get a three-course meal and a 30 minute flight around downtown. The food is really good! You can get a Groupon for $150 here: https://www.groupon.com/biz/dallas/delta-charlies
Ha! And here's an article that runs more along the lines of what I had thought of the issue
>"When revenue bonds for a project are finally paid off ... the facility reverts to the state as part of its highway system, to be used free," J.H. (Jack) Davis, engineer-manager of the Texas Turnpike Authority, proclaimed in 1968.
>That's exactly what happened with Interstate 30, the road now known as the Tom Landry Highway linking Dallas and Fort Worth. It started out as the Dallas-Fort Worth Turnpike, a toll road, but became a freeway when it was paid for in 1977.
>Free rides on the Dallas North Tollway had been penciled in for Jan. 1, 2005, when the last bond payment was due on the original $33.65 million construction cost.
>Much has changed since that road opened for business. Today, no portion of the Dallas North Tollway is debt-free, and the total system debt "is not scheduled to be fully retired until 2038," said Jerry Hiebert, executive director of the North Texas Tollway Authority, in a statement prepared to respond to questions from DallasNews.com.

Allergen levels are pretty low this time of year in Texas.
Truthfully you probably have a minor throat or sinus infection (bacterial, not viral/flu). This is the time of year for it and it’s hitting all across the nation. I travel weekly for work and coordinators at every site I’ve visited have been sick.
Just be sure to rest up, take some vitamin c daily, and use mucinex/guafinesin to keep getting it out!
I'm from/live in Dallas and study in Canada. I've pretty much travelled across both countries and so long as you stay off the radars you won't have any problems. I highly recommend you to visit Dallas. Food is great and people are extremely friendly. If you enjoy shopping, you'll be blown away by the variety of products you find on the shelves as well as extremely affordable prices here. (It pains me to see that the same products in Canada cost 2-3 times more.) Not to mention you pay less tax (8.25 percent). One thing you may want to consider is getting a travel insurance. A trip to ER may cost you up to 2k.
Uptown and Oaklawn are good areas to stay if you want to be around people and enjoy the nightlife in Dallas. They also tend to be safe residential areas in DFW. Otherwise, if you don't mind renting a car and driving to downtown (especially now that gas prices are so low) I recommend you staying in Plano as it is one of the safest cities in the U.S.
Try Tex-Mex food, it's decent. I'm sure Yelp reviews will help you find a good restaurant. Likewise, this is a link for some of the activities that are available in Dallas: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g55711-Activities-Dallas_Texas.html
P.S. May I recommend you visiting Austin and San Antonio since you're coming this far?
I'm currently doing the Coursera course for Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems, and I am pleased with the way the course is progressing, but I feel like I need a classroom-based program to supplement the online course. I often have questions on the online course work I'm doing, and end up spending 15+ minutes finding an answer online. I'd rather have an instructor that I can ask and get immediate feedback.
If you like Torchy's there's a new taco place opening up in Dallas called the Velvet Taco. I think they'll be similar to Torchy's. They're having a soft opening this weekend and it might be worth going to for the taco lovers out there.
Hm, that wikipedia article ranks it odly. They seem to include conglomerate screens like Times Square. Big Hoss is the largest single HD screen.

In 2011 any data could be recovered from facebook, the marketing scheme of these companies is to amass as much data on their users as possible, even data you don't know you are giving them. The cops can simply subpoena the info from Facebook and they would know more about a person than they know about themselves. What kind of dumb question is that? Have you not heard of the Cambridge Analytica scandal? https://thenextweb.com/facebook/2011/05/02/heres-what-happens-when-the-police-subpoena-your-facebook/
