My theory is that JarJar is chilling in the governing body that is the successor to the galactic senate. He got his stooges Vader and Palpatine to do his dirty work. With their demise, he will have to find another scheme to rid the universe of both sith and Jedi once and for all.
"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near."
"The greatest victory is that which requires no battle."
According to http://www.fishbase.se/summary/Bathygobius-soporator.html :
>Etymology: Bathygobius: Greek, bathys = deep + Latin, gobius = gudgeon
Soporator could mean "sleeper", so...
deep sleeper gudgeon
Now, "gudgeon" is a word that describes someone naive or gullible (like Mapo) and means "to cheat"/"to trick"/"to deceive" (what Jar Jar does) when used as a verb.^1 :O
What got me is when you said DJJ was the first Snoke theory, and anything after could have been changed post-popularity-spike. (maybe to make it completely clear that Jar Jar wasn't Snoke?)
Edit: Also (may be baseless speculation here) but to confirm the claim that Andy Serkis didn't know what Snoke looked like while performing him, I tried to get some info on the making of the Force Awakens. Found that they had published a book, 'The Making of The Force Awakens', pre-theory on 25th October 2015,
however on Amazon it doesn't sell anymore.
If they did ditch it, as u/JediHedwig says, they may not bring it back... however, did they ditch it?
Wanted to note additionally about the Etymology section. Some languages will use a single noun and repeat it twice to represent a plural form.
I like the thought in this, great job! :D
u/GtheGenius, I found a somewhat good -and free- animation software called Anim8tor.
While I'm not an animator at all, just thought that might be useful for those of us who've never done it to try it out, perhaps? You can still find a better, more professional one.

You seem to be arguing that some things go viral. Of course some things go viral. But Harlem Shake and FHRITP are great examples of things that no one knew would go viral. Some things do and some things don't. There is an endless amount of failed attempts at making something viral. There is absolutely no way to guarantee that a post on reddit will succeed in it.
edit: a good book I read on the subject.

20 bucks on Amazon. They aren't THAT ancient and they still make them.
