Or, maybe, and just maybe, you should stop being a prick to people, who are being civil. How about you pick up an updated dictionary by the way, or at least another one? Words don't all conform to the same definitions, formally or informally, and that's why there's occasionally contradictions between different published dictionaries.
The online Cambridge Dictionary, for instance, defines making out differently. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/make-out
And if you want to get ufcking technical, the scene is implying some kind of intimate encounter. How about you romance a character that actually has dialogue? Because the characters that Capcom set up as expected love interests, like Quina, Madeline, or even the Duke's wife, all imply love through their post-Dragon dialogue. That's why the LI moves into the Arisen's house, post Dragon, because it's implying, and even directly stating, that the character form some kind of relationship.
Actually play the fucking game.
Have you tried the steam forums - other people have posted potential fixeds/causes/solutions - eg

etc

Honestly, there's really not much at all. The BIG ones that comes to mind are Divinity II. It has classes, loads of skills, a loot system, big explorable world, loads of quests. Also DRAGONS! branching dialogue and is a solid game overall.
And the other is Dragon Age: Inquisition. It's much more western than Dragon's Dogma and Divinity II, but is a quality game you can play for a hundred hours, great character creator, lots of fantastic locations, hundreds of quest, meaningful choices, intriguing characters and plot, skills, class choices, advanced class choices and nine interesting companions. Also DRAGONS! You can access it for "free" for a month by paying £3.99 for Origin Access.
The only others are possibly the Gothic/Arcadia series, as well as Kingdoms of Amalur as a shaky maybe, Darksiders 2 is another iffy maybe (play the first one first). Witcher 3 is the obvious go-to for an open-world, medieval setting RPG, but again it's not too similar, but is possibly the best game I ever played. Risen 2 and Two Worlds II are in some ways similar, but I couldn't recommend them as good games.
You should look into other big world JRPGs, such as Xenoblade Chronicles, Ni No Kuni and Final Fantasy XII (remaster is coming soon).
They've even captured that "spent 2 hours making pretty Arisen, starts game, character looks like they've been tazered" feeling..

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/626515-dragons-dogma/62835698 Check that link out, it shows you what augments you get from which class, see if strider + assassin has better augments.
And from what I heard Assassin is versatile and very quick, but can't really be best at anything. MK is fantastic at tanking and does real nice deepz aswell. I dunno anything mage so, sorry, can't help ya there :P
It's listed on Metacritic already, but just a summary: "Much like the main character's chest cavity, this RPG ultimately feels hollow, with no real heart." Ouch.
Both systems have one terrible review out of four. I'm interested to see the full game to get what they're on about.
I had my display cloned, as usual, with my laptop typically staying closed on my desk, but I actually figured out a way to make it work:
1.) Have the game running in a 1920x1080 window so that it displays on my external monitor 2.) Used Windowed Borderless Gaming, an external program I've used in the past for similar issues, to hook the DD window and force borderless fullscreen 3.) Enjoy 1080p DD without needing to wait for an hour-long alt+tab and having to unplug and replug my HDMI cable every time I start the game.
Agnostic Dragon lets you run DD while in alt tabbed (must be in windows mode), so you can quickly browse the interwebs while server is updating / loading screen. Since it requires windows mode and theres no natural borderless window mode I recommend Borderless Gaming.
More of a backend guy myself (so feel free to hit me up if you want to bounce ideas!) but one cool thing that would be nice to see is chart the Ur-Dragon's HP over time via something like this:
Reports around the same period which have conflicting values can be plotted and averages (or whatever methodology worthwhile) graphed. If more people get involved in reporting it may even be possible to predict an approximate ETA of grace (potentially adjusting for peak/troughs of player concurrency/activity)
Absolutely! This is what I grabbed off Amazon for $20:

I haven't had any issues with it so far. The only quirky thing I've had happen was sometimes it will allow me to turn on the switch from the PS4 controller and sometimes not, so I just hit the button from a joycon and then use the PS4 controller. Also you can only pair one controller to the dongle.
If anyone picks one up I'd update the firmware on it before using the dongle. It's a quick download and install that takes only a few minutes.
Oops, that happens :) There's also a free app from Capcom called "Dragon's Dogma Wisdom". While it's not a game, you can unlock some exclusive wallpapers made for your phone. It's a tad bit old and I had a hard time finding it again, so here it is if you want to check it out: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.capcom.ddwisdomen.
The number of summons for my pawn has definitely dropped since reaching the higher levels in general. I mean, you'll still get summons if you're posting regularly online and friend people so that they can summon your pawn for free. However, for people like me who usually just rely on random summons, I'm sure hitting 200 on the pawn jacked up the price by a couple million rift crystals. Guess I'm stuck with farming them myself at the moment. Might just make a new profile altogether and just summon my 200 pawn for the whole storyline. The last time I did that, I was able to net around 1,000,000 rift crystals when I swapped back to my other game, so it wasn't too bad for the chance to try a new build and earn crystals in my other game at the same time.
If you're looking for more summons, definitely keep up with the posting on Reddit. You might also want to check out the sticky on gamefaqs - the rent list: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/626514-dragons-dogma/71216355
^If you're active on this list, I'm sure you'll see more summons as well.
Maybe there could be a separate Ur-Dragon reddit - just for hunters - that would probably work and leave a slot here.
I would (probably) be able/willing to monitor that for spam/add the new ones after grace etc.
Maybe there should be a discussion about this - perhaps people want the same thing for pawn hires too? I don't know.
This reddit seems a little busy right now (wonder why) .. so I'll give it a week or so and come back .. also want to go and see if they want to follow the PS4/XONE Ur on gamefaqs - it makes sense not to split the user base for good reporting.
If anyone knows of a (free social) website that could be used to send people push emails when grace pls let me know. Otherwise I think maybe we(me) could make simple instructions to set up ifttt.com for notifications eg see https://ifttt.com/reddit
Anyway - I'll let people play the game first, see what demand is like for a tracker - maybe Daimon and BBI3's stole a lot of the Ur's thunder.
The PC version's currently £6.33 on GMG. They're a legitimate site so you don't have to worry about the devs not getting paid.
I'd recommend the PC version over PS4/XBOX for sure. There's an easy modpack that makes some nice QOL and visual improvements, and you can run an ENB to make the game very pretty. Running at 60fps is nice too.
Your call if portability is more important than all that - I've been tempted by the Switch version too.
I don't think anybody in the pawn thread posts pictures, heh.
Over in the GameFAQs Pawn Sharing Club (over here, but notice that's post #50, they have to recreate the threads every 50 pages or so) pictures can be pretty helpful in the database, but mostly because there's a good number of people so having a photo can help your pawn "get noticed" and stand out, but not necessary at all.
I'm pretty sure you can alter your pawn's appearance in NG+ for free, if you intend to start one after post-game, but yeah the Secret of Metamorphosis isn't a bad option and isn't really all that expensive if your pawn is getting rented at all (Make sure you get the Secret, not the Art, and if you're going to buy it, get it BEFORE NG+ otherwise it will disappear until you get to Grigori again.)
I'm a bit unclear on whether changing your height/gender alters your carry capacity and such, though in either case?
P.S: For transferring photos, you basically just use a thumb drive. Use the photo browser to select the pic, press triangle, copy, USB media device.
I assumed that the Dragon would offer a deal based on what the Arisen desires - however that's too complicated to do in the game so you're offered the take the Dukedom thing as the alternative ending. (The actual choice isn't that important - it just represents a choice between greed/desire and the heroic/virtuous thing to do)
I've had suspicions about the Dragonforged - the theory that he gave up something (possibly the Kingdom you see in ruins after the tainted temple) is a good one. Another other common theory is that he failed against the dragon, and ran away (eg http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/626515-dragons-dogma/66230588#2). "those who can do, those who can't teach".
Not sure which is the more likely. I think the sacrifice for knowledge theory fills more plot holes than the other.
I'd say yes absolutely - the original content is the best. Plus some of the minor changes they made between the two actually break immersion a tiny amount (like you can gift items you have in store -see also non spoiler list of menu changes stuff here http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/684236-dragons-dogma-dark-arisen/66037964 - many of the changes appeal to long time players of the game ) (also google "Dark Arisen changelog" if you want but beware spoilers)
If you're experiencing the game and story for the first time I'd recommend the original - less cluttered, and better paced.
Plus if you start on DD and then move to DD:DA whe you're ready for the extra content you get the bonuses etc. And if you start new on DD:DA you'll get a "quest glut" which could dsitract from the plot as it includes all the DLC quests.
DD is definately the "director's cut" in my opinion, and if you liked it you'll like the extended version too.. but hold onto your money. and wait till you've played it first.

*Offensive Hybrid Arisen - Extra Neat

3559 HP
4107 ST
605 Str
605 Mag

312 MDef
Str and Mag are the most important stats for every class. If you want to be effective in every vacation - you need to get both Str and Mag as high as possible.
As long as you aren't rushing into anything in this game, it isn't really going to punish you that hard for making mistakes. It's not relentlessly difficult action.
Play what you enjoy, but be aware that the classes that link together also have augments and core abilities that are shared. So, if you're aiming to be a magic archer, you will find that some of the mage and sorceror augments are useful to you.
Any Magic build -(mage/sorceror/mystic knight/magick archer) Any Range build - (strider/ranger/magick archer/assassin) Any close combat build - (fighter/warrior/assassin/mystic knight)
If you're really struggling against a target, but have spare gold, don't forget that you can make use of periapts to boost your damage. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/626515-dragons-dogma/64783146 is a nice reference to take a look at how the damage works. As enemies have static health and defence statistics, this can help when you are finding one thing challenging.
Remember that magick archer skills have an inherent damage type, so try not to use elements that are weak against different targets.
I have the habit of reassigning pawns whenever I am in Gran Soren to restock, which is every 4 or 5 levels in the mid game, and 2 or 3 towards the end game. In post-game and BBI, I switch them up to be as useful as possible.
Enhancing is expensive to begin with. I truly think it is more important to get to the "best" equipment you can buy for you and your pawn. Early on I believe the Greatwall Encampment has the "best" shop before you start playing with Idols or hit post-game.
If you're lost, or not able to do a quest, simply move on to the next one. The wiki is useful for this game, as some of the missions are annoyingly finicky when it comes to having to do everything the right way, the first time (looking at you, Gold Idol).
i am using Borderless Gaming, while there is an option to tick for forcing DD to stay on top always, it doesn't work. it's not helpful to you i guess, but when researching you can save some time on that one
Also, there’s a corrected XP game_main.arc file here in case you don’t wanna mess with merging things. It doesn’t include any other tweaks in it.
There is sheet music for it. It's called the "CAPCOM Game Collection 30th ANNIVERSARY Piano Beginner Rank Sheet Music Book" but looks like it's mostly on Ebay as of now.
Based on what I can find this is the likeliest place to have found such info. It's apparently filled to the brim with every detail about everything in the game. Including designs, concepts, and commentary. I have found no hints of any other referenced material that would have a chance at having ages besides this since it's a complete collection (Dragon's Dogma: Official Design Works https://www.amazon.com/dp/1926778928/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_WQYGDJW84BX789MFAPP3 )
You are really encountering some strange things there. Since I've only installed the mod and everything was working fine, I've never took a deeper look into this.
21:9 resolutions are Ultra wide screen. So for example 2560x1080. Not a very common resolution at the moment. In my case it's this Monitor.
There's a guide from BradyGames that I was able to find cheap at a used book store. I think this should have everything you'd be expecting to find.
