Really solid. Nice Work! One thing - you have the last place team projected at 0-16. I know he's got a terrible team, but I think it should be 0-13
Here's the magazine me and another owner did for our league last year - http://anyflip.com/wpco/purf/ Maybe you can get some ideas from it, but at 78 pages, I think you're pretty set. Great job dude!
See this is what happens when people just cough and repeat national headlines.
https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/news/20031118/one-concussion-increases-risk-of-more#1
One of those most commonly cited studies, Guskiewicz' observed only 175~ of 2900 tracked players had a concussion (6%). Of those 175 only 12 players (7%) had another head injury within the season.
That sample is far too small to make discernible wide reaching claims of rates of recurrence. I do not doubt for one second that there isn't a building effect on concussions..that's not what I'm doubting..but I'm doubting what I've read in numerous concussion studies that players are profoundly more likely to have a concussion after recovering from each concurrent concussion.
I've seen no legitimate statistical evidence to suggest that with known, document-able variables we can say Adams is more likely to sustain a concussion than Brown or Beckham.
I don't expect you to believe me, or trust me. If I were in your shoes I'd take it all with a grain of salt as well. But until we get a controlled study that accounts for brain chemistry and a persons inclination for a concussion in the first place, we can't start talking about a player being more susceptible than his peers.
Don't get me wrong, when it comes to my kids and youth sports--I would be extra protective. When it comes to player value I'm unconcerned until there is a pattern. A player getting killed by targeting isn't a pattern...in the same way none of Keenan's injuries were a pattern.
TLDR: Just because you have a concussion or multiple concussions doesn't mean your susceptible..you could simply just get wrecked x2 (Hi, Davante). There needs to be a control to attempt to highlight those that are simply prone to concussions. Some people are more susceptible than others; the event itself doesn't define the how susceptible someone is..
Has your league done 1 point per completion before? Rodgers and Wilson both take a massive hit to their values. Check passing stats: http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/passing/sort/completions . The top 3 teams averaged ~420 completions last year, compared to GB's ~350 and Seattle's ~330. Assuming 4 point passing touchdowns, that's like an extra ~20 passing touchdowns for those QBs on high volume passing offenses, compared to Rodgers and Wilson. Looks like Rodgers has been around QB#6-10 and Wilson QB#9-14 using those settings, but with a 6-8 point gap between QB#1 and them. If your league hasn't done point per completion before and are valuing Wilson as a top 3 QB, I'd look into selling him for someone like Brees or Rivers or Stafford or Roethlisberger plus a quality WR or 2017 picks or something.

Guillain-Barre (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) syndrome is a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. Weakness and tingling in your extremities are usually the first symptoms.
These sensations can quickly spread, eventually paralyzing your whole body. In its most severe form Guillain-Barre syndrome is a medical emergency. Most people with the condition must be hospitalized to receive treatment.
Ctrl+F "T.Y. Hilton"
In the past 19 regular-season games T.Y. Hilton has played, 44.2 percent of his fantasy points (ESPN standard scoring) have come in ... three games.
If you include the playoffs, Hilton has scored a touchdown in just three of his past 21 games.
Since the start of 2013, including playoffs, Hilton has scored a touchdown in just 11 of 52 games.
No thanks.
Deion Sanders is famous for this (source):
>"One time a running back ran a sweep toward him, and Deion dove half-hearted into the turf," says Case. "We're watching film the next day, razzing him pretty good. As serious as could be, he said, 'I saw that dude coming and I had to make a business decision.'"
Also:
>“Hey, these shoulders are made for suits, not Brandon Jacobs.”
This is a league that is about to commence for the 2014 season. It's salary cap dynasty with a contract based system. Pretty complicated, but it's what we wanted. Very open to feedback.
Much appreciated. I have it linked in my article, but here is my table of all my scores from 2018 to 2023 eligible guys if you want to take a deeper look. https://airtable.com/shr5OUoR4zoJwTUk3/tblmzm294IzvKiiQg
Had some technical difficulties, but hope to have made it reasonable. We've gone thru 45 prospects individually for the 2019 NFL Draft, including 16 of the Running Backs likely to play in the NFL. Now we expand our coverage to include the Best of the Rest. Today we look at some additional RBs, including Alexander Mattison, Myles Gaskin, Darwin Thompson, Travis Homer, and Devine Ozigbo amongst others.

Jalen Hurd has been on the college scene for what feels like a long time. First as a dynamic running back for Tennessee, and now as a wide receiver for Baylor. How much has the positional change added to his versatility as increased his 2019 NFL Draft stock as a prospect?
Just pulling the first study I find online
>They found that 6% of players had a concussion, and that 7% of those players had another head injury within the same season.
>Of the 12 within-season repeat concussions, 92% occurred within 10 days of the first injury, and 75% occurred within seven days of the first injury.
That tells us how minor the number truly is..
Does it put the average healthy person more at risk? Sure. But they found only 7% of those that already sustained an concussion suffered another one in the same season. For reference there were 271 reported concussions in 2015. We'll say those concussions were suffered by 240 individuals in this sample. Considering what we know form the above article about 17 athletes suffered more than 1 concussion, and an even smaller number suffering multiple.
So again where does he fall? Does he fall in with Jordan Reed? Sam Shields? Devonta Freeman? What does that net out to? 1? 2? 3 games lost?
Now don't get me wrong, that analysis above is far too small to truly be robust enough to apply, but the numbers are pretty telling and feel about right when thinking about NFL athletes.
Ladarius Green for me. Then Fleener.
I've been on the Jimmy Graham bandwagon since he has joined the league, but all of the sports medicine people that I have seen talking about his injury say it is the hardest to come back from.
I already have lol. Go look it up while you read these again.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/trajectory https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/career They've got an option for a definition for kids. I'd start there and then work your way up.
Every VPN company has their own methods of course. But sites like DAZN do ban IP's from known VPN IP addresses to enforce only in-market streams. NordVPN is a big one that a lot of users use, no doubt. Of course, they should be regularly cycling IP addresses, but they clearly are not cycling quickly enough apparently.
The app was recently pushed to the international Google Play Store! You should be able to download the latest version through there, here's a direct link to that: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sleeperbot.lite
Sure, if you can get him on the low-low, go for it. But don't break the bank for this guy. He's a freaky talent, but he's got a history of injuries, and though they don't always hold him out, he rarely seems to be playing at 100 percent.
Just look at the list of injuries reported from 2014-2015. This doesn't include his 2016 issues and injuries suffered in college: http://www.espn.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/24712/add-broken-foot-to-sammy-watkins-growing-list-of-nfl-injuries
There's better, safer value you can get for you WR1. If you have the depth to stomach his inevitable missed time, go for it. But I can't recommend planning for this guy to be your every-week No. 1 like an AB, Julio or AJ Green. He feels like the new Megatron.
My league has done it and it was a HUGE success. As the host, I had to constantly say "This is a podcast about our league, NOT a fantasy football podcast. So if you've stumbled upon this by accident looking for fantasy advice, you've come to the wrong place!"

It's a lot of fun because it's a show full of our friends basically talking shit like we would in our league chat, but just in audio. It's also a nice way to recap the happenings from the previous week and preview what's ahead, as well as make league predictions for who will finish where in the league.

Honestly, it's a blast. I highly recommend it. Especially if one of your league mates will act as your "co-host" and do it with you on a consistent basis.
As far as equipment goes, since it's just for your league, quality shouldn't be the main focus. You can always just use Skype and use their built in call recorder. It should be fine. Upload that to a free podcast host - Anchor.fm for instance - and you'll be good to go.
Future me has found Trello to be perfect for this. It allows you to create multiple "lists" of "cards", and comment on them. I've got lists set up for each position, and a card for each player. I can then comment on players at times throughout the season when there's something I want to remember, and re-order them at will.

We’re getting into that next tier of Wide Receivers, and Stanley Morgan Jr of Nebraska offers some interest and upside. We’ll tell you what you need to know, as we look at him next in our 2019 NFL Draft Profiles series, hosted by Dynasty League Football.
New Dynasty startup, need advice on targeting an RB2:
14 team, 0.5 ppr. RBs ending up going fast and many were reached for so I kept missing my targets. As such, I'm praying to god Fournette stays healthy. Right now, I'm hoping Barber/Jones, CJ Anderson, and/or Frank Gore can be serviceable in the RB2 slot, but should I be looking to move some receivers for a better RB2 now or just wait and see how things shake out here and on the WW before making any moves?
Usually we think higher of the lead Running Backs from Ohio State. Especially when their production has been solid. But Mike Weber doesn’t seem to be generating a ton of buzz. We’ll try to figure out why, next, on our 2019 NFL Draft Profiles series hosted by DynastyLeagueFootball.com.
It looks promising. They threw a lot more when Lynch went down and the coaches have talked about continuing to throw more and they talk about Lockett like he's their featured WR with Baldwin and Kearse as supporting guys. I don't see 130 happening anytime soon, but 115 could be reachable soon and if he stays efficient he could replicate what Baldwin put up in 2015.
Thanks! The most recent update adds blog functionality so that you can add a lot of content to your site. Adding your own domain can be done in vercel through settings. If you google around, there are a few good guides about how to do that.
For features beyond that, the website is written in Svelte. There are some excellent tutorials if you want to try modifying and enhancing it. Otherwise, you can always make a feature request on GitHub and I'll do my best to build it!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
I used Pro Football Reference and MockDraftable for most of my stats and measurables. FFToday was the most useful resource for determining fantasy points/positional rank from previous seasons.
I used Excel to compile my data and I downloaded the Real Statistics add-in to manipulate it. I know that a lot of people like to use R, but I'm not familiar with it at all.
I've done similar predictive models for QB, RB, and TE, but never got around to posting articles for them. I've compiled everything into what I like to call PREDATOR Scores. Here's an intro that I wrote up that may be of some use to you. Apart from that, Kevin Cole from RotoViz has done some similar work that's worth taking a look at as well.
Best of luck!
It's technically a workplace communication hub. https://slack.com/

It's basically a network of private chat rooms. you can access them easily from your desktop, or from the slack app. It lets you set up "chat rooms" for specific conversations, and also lets you private message an y other person (or persons in private group messages) that are in the group.

Below is a screenshot of our slack homepage for our dyansty football league.

Just went this route and signed up for NFL GP International using a Brazil server and ExpressVPN.
But I've been trying to get the shit onto my Roku TV for the last 3 hours and I'm about ready to pull my fucking hair out lol. Unfortunately like you said, Roku doesn't carry any of the VPN apps, but they told me a workaround was to use your laptop as a mobile hotspot. However, the NFL app continues to recognize my location within the United States.
Shit is driving me batshit crazy. Never buying a Roku TV in the future.
Probably this (subscriber only) article by Shawn Siegle from 2014. http://198.58.104.251/2014/01/2014-nfl-draft-three-holy-grail-components-to-wide-receiver-evaluation/
Dominator rating came from Frank DuPont's book in 2012 https://www.amazon.com/Game-Plan-Approach-Decision-National/dp/1475233353
That's really great to hear because we have STRUGGLED to get the sound right. I'm awful with a mic, always moving my head around too much.
My cohost is in a band so he has all sorts of mics. We went with these:
Not crazy expensive and they work really well. USB into the computer and then I plug my headphones into the mic.
I used to shell out money for PFF and Fantasy Pros but I stopped when these services weren't any more of an 'edge' over the quality of free information that exists today. I stick to these 2 free podcasts for weekly dynasty listening, listed in no specific order,
For content that requires purchase, I pay for NFL GamePass and ExpressVPN so that I can watch the games and redzone live on Sunday. I then spend Tuesdays and Wednesdays watching the coaches film of my players and guys I'm keeping an eye on. It's an amazing tool with a top notch filter for watching exactly what you want to see if you don't have time to do a whole game. The VPN is so that I can access this live presentation of NFL Sunday, the process of which outlined here: _gamepass_streaming_inseason/
Pair this with the S2S and RSP rookie scouting info and that's how I conduct my dynasty operations.
