Haha, the idea struck me last night. I just read this book, and the Oilers season has seemed like a death march for awhile, so it seemed like a good fit. Maybe I'll keep it going, we'll see...
>When a player has an injury of which they are expected to miss a minimum of 10 NHL games and 24 days in the NHL season, the team can place them on long term injured reserve.
So yes they will most likely place him on.
As far as Sekeras injury:
>At 4 to 6 months: You should be back to full activity, but you won’t be totally recovered until about a year after surgery. Even then, your strength might never get back to 100%.
Think will have it live. TSN may not, but even if they do, their usual crew won't be there. Don't think they got broadcast rights this year though, so it's likely NHLN, NBCN and SN.
If you're okay with using a streaming site, it appears blabseal will be streaming the event. That site always has HD, no lag streams for games, it's how I watched a good number of the playoff games while on campus this year. Otherwise, maybe try NHLN or NBCN's site, and if they have a country requirement I'd recommend Zenmate for a VPN.
Sorry, I didn't finish really watching this podcast until now. BUT I would like to add to the "weather" debate. If you go anywhere, people will bitch about the weather. It's a common thing. It's too hot (it really fucking is hot in texas), it's too cold, it's too rainy, too sunny, too windy, etc. The majority of those who live in Edmonton would love the concept of their summers / winters vs our 60C variance from winter - summer, but when you actually get there it changes. It becomes way too fucking hot and it's the opposite but the same complaint. Like their summer will push 35C, if not exceed it a few times a year.
It is the same concept with Edmonton. It might get extremely cold one winter for a few days - week/2. But in reality it's not as cold as people make it out to be on average. We will have -40 weather eventually at some point, but it's not a constant month of it. They will get 35C weather, but it's not a constant summer of 35C weather.
I guess my point is that the weather debate doesn't really matter unless you are moving to somewhere like fucking Oman where it does get 45-50C in the summer constantly. In desert countries where you can fry an egg ontop of a car. Or even further north than Edmonton where it constantly hits -35 to -40C in winter over the entire season.
Anybody into mobile games? I made an Alliance called EdmontonOilers on Marvel Future Fight. Any one of you are free to join since I'm the only member so far ha! :P
It's actually a really fun game and they give away loads of free stuff to keep people playing. It's addictive though.
I know its not at all likely but it'd be cool to see them go the same way as the Atlanta Falcons NFL team in their new stadium.

>I'm aware of what all three are and all three are completely different in how they connect. So no, I don't mean a proxy or a VPN.
"Smart DNS" is a proxy.
>I mean a smart DNS because that's likely easier to set up for someone who is not teksavvy to set up and is usually cheaper.
Downloading the application to the end device and logging in isn't difficult. One year of PIA is $40 (USD), secures your privacy, and prevents DNS leaks, while one year of Unlocator is $50 (USD) and does not do that.
Hell, you can also just download the program at /r/lazyman or /r/nhl_games, install it, and you'll be watching GameCentre Live feeds for free.
Yahoo consolidated all of their fantasy apps in the football one last year. It's a little buggy but good enough.
Any half decent one you’ll likely need to pay for. I got 2 years of Private Internet Access (PIA) for like $50. But there’s plenty of others like Nordnet, etc. you just download the software and login once you’ve paid (with PIA you get an email confirmation with login info) and you should be good to go! I do know of another decent illegal streaming site as well, just DM if you want it, not sure if mods like is sharing these streams publicly or not.
Just a side note, PIA does not seem to work well on Amazon Firesticks.
I’m wracking my brain to think what else it could be.
Ya I've met 10s. 10s exist. Out of my league that's for sure, but just go and peruse some professional athlete's wives and girlfriends. Some of them might be crazy or slutty. But a lot of them are not only smart and loyal, but playboy hot to boot. You can't tell me someone like Jessica Ashley isn't a 10 just because you'd prefer a blond.
Also an app for artillery on the phone. Less thorough than the website but pretty effective once you get the hang of it. If you only have one monitor, it's much quicker than having to tab out to check the website.

edit: I'm using justfreevpn right now. It's fucking slow but after establishing a connection and getting past the blackout screen, you can just disconnect from the VPN and use your regular connection.
I wish Mitchell & Ness still made NHL product. I used to have this Oilers snapback but lost it when I went to Iceland. Also had this one but lost it in my car when my vehicle got stolen a couple of years ago.
It's pretty pathetic if you ask me. I used to have an Oilers hate like this years ago and have been looking for something ever since. The fanatics ones are pure sewage
