Here to Utopia is an excellent (but long) choice, probably fits well with your literature class as well, Ginsberg references and everything. It's got a pretty solid genius page too if that's any help.
That sounds pretty cool to me, but I mean.. our music is free in about 7 different places, so you might as well!
Did it not occur to you to just type what you were looking for into Google? I don't mean to be rude but without even knowing that Philadelphia 'n' Bacchanal was the name of a Mischief Brew album it took less than six seconds to find it for sale on Amazon. This was literally the first result on Google.
Some of my favorites in no particular order - -Crime and Punishment, Dostoevsky -The First Man, Camus -Cats Cradle, Vonnegut -Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Dick -Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Pirsig -Being and Nothingness, Sartre -Twilight of the Idols, Nietzsche -Anansi Boys, Gaiman -Anything by H.P. Dailey also played in Tea and Rice and On Wonderful Jonathen to name a few.
He currently is in a band called Mellon Sugar based out of Ashville, NC. No recordings from them yet though :/
The woman singing/playing in this is Nick Berger from Ramshackle Glory. I recognized her at a cafe this past Friday around town and said hi, an incredibly nice person and it piqued my interest to look into her solo stuff, and it is honestly fantastic.
Also one of the best band names ever, Devil's Coachwhip.

Let me know if you have access to this. It's the Armed Metropolis split and a lock-in session that we did with Kevin and other friends over a very drunken weekend. The official title of that band is "Black Creek Family Reunion" and it's an assortment of musicians.

I grabbed 2 other albums off my Apple Music uploads, just wanna make sure they're scrubbed of any personal info.
Their other act is Chad Hates George My favorites are shootin' up, breakin down (this one is better than the youtube version, imo), the hopeless ripoff song, I'm Irene, and can I sleep on your floor??
rym.com has a list of members, and most of them are credited as vocalist. i kinda assumed that basically all of them were singing if they weren't doing someone that required their mouth (like the harmonica or trumpet bits)
I'd recommend listening to Johnny Hobo's Chaos Infiltration Squad EP. You may have heard it if you're already into Johnny Hobo, but it has some of his most raw stuff in my opinion.
There are a couple of books on the topic of Washtub Bass Playing.

I use this in my art stuff all the time. Stuff takes a solid beating and holds up. Decide if you want matte or regular. Regular probably would match the current varnish
Make sure to spray light. Let dry and do another coat if you want
The marker is likely permanent but it's an already varnished surface adding wet....well it's not likely to lift any of that but it's best to go slow and steady
Light brushing. Let it dry for 2 hours another one till you feel it's met your standards

They put their CD out on Sidejar Records, which was run by this rad guy named Anthony Poynter, who passed away last March after a struggle with cancer. I don't think anybody runs Sidejar anymore but maybe it's worth a shot.

Also, their old myspace is http://www.myspace.com/arkansasarkansas You can at least stream some stuff from there.
These guys were from my town, I miss this a lot.
I'm definitely down, can bring guitar (acoustic or electric), bass, 6-string banjo, piano, melodica, cello, ukulele, vocals, and snare drum to the table.
Also, for everyone, I'm pretty sure this is OP's reverbnation

that's the real link sorry guys
and some older shit that I think is better but you tell me.

I am also very partial to the gang vocals! I'm glad you liked them too. They're a lot of fun. I would like to do more of them, but I don't want to force it if it's not natural. Input? Also, if you check out our ReverbNation I did an AJJ cover, that is a little more manic.
The verse goes Bm - Em - F# - Bm in a loop. Then something happens in the bridge/chorus.
Hope you can figure it out with chordify.
Sean seems to be really into rap and hip hop. In his reddit AMA, he mentioned that the two artists he listened to the most in high school were Belle & Sebastian and Old Dirty Bastard (aka one of the founding members of Wu-Tang Clan). Additionally, the cover for AJJ's Operation Stackola is a pretty clear reference to Pen And Pixel Studios, a graphic design studio that made artwork for basically every southern hip hop album. Their most notable work was probably with Three Six Mafia and Lil' Wayne (along with the rest of Cash Money Records.
This website literally is just for similar recommendations. Just search for mischief brew and it'll give you similar stuff. Works with music, movies, books, and video games. Spotify takes awhile but has a decent algorithm with the discovery weekly feature to suggest similar stuff too.
Go through this list and listen to every single one. I've been into this music for a while but I never really went through that list and I constantly find bands I love by other means then I go and look and could have found them easier with that list. I know at least 50% of that list has stuff on Spotify, so probably(?) have stuff on Google music.
If you've never tried Spotify check out their 3 months for $0.99 deal
here is another of their hard to find releases, are we still friends. http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=09595567047060395614
you should download soulseek if you are able, you can get almost anything you are looking for on there.
Here's the one I have, it's definitely a good cheap melodica to start out with.
By the way, if you're looking for some people to play with I'm starting a Harley Poe inspired band and we need a melodica player. Let me know if you're interested
Rob taxpayers wrote a short book to accompany this album. It adds so much depth and insight to it. This is a perfect album that gets pushed to 13 with the book
it was a birthday gift. BUT if you can stomach buying shit off of Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Constant-State-Ohio-Lincoln/dp/B01M67EUR2/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=A+Constant+State+of+Ohio&qid=1599611732&sr=8-1 they have it there. Which I suspect is where my friend bought it.
Hey, yeah I left a comment yesterday about this, I got it on their bandcamp, very few copies left though I'd guess they're gone now.
The book can be found on Amazon though, I've been really enjoying it so far: https://www.amazon.co.uk/God-Forgive-These-Bastards-Forgotten/dp/1621068765
