The city limits extend past 34th street the whole way and in some places areas have been annexed to the west of I75. So 34th street definitely doesnt make sense. See city of gainesville maps here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/33611567#map=12/29.6967/-82.3113

This thinking, while having merit, is not very forward thinking, especially for the future growth of Gainesville. 4K TVs are becoming the standard very quickly and it won't be long before burning through 1TB in a month a is very common occurrence. If this doesn't get addressed now, then in the future once data caps have been established as the norm it will come back to bite the consumer.
http://www.consumerreports.org/telecom-services/how-easy-to-burn-through-1TB-data-cap/
First step, as you've noted in your OP, is to connect to the modem via Ethernet and test speeds from there. Access your modem via web (e.g. 192.168.100.1) and note all of your signal ratings.
Downstream power: -8 to +8 dB ideal. -15 to +15 dB within spec.
Upstream power: Between 42 and 50 dB ideal. More than 53 dB will be problematic.
Signal to noise (SNR): Best over 30 dB. Below 25 dB will be problematic.
Typically if you have low speeds there's an issue with the signal. Assuming this is the case, the first simple step you can attempt is to minimize the amount of cable splitters and terminate any unusued outlets. Splitters will degrade the signal at each split and terminators will help with any signal reflection. Splitters are the most-likely culprit and terminators are fairly inexpensive ($6.50 on Amazon).
Here's what to expect from Cox: First, they should try to get you 80% of your advertised bandwidth. If you have records of your speed being in a lower tier, say something and try to get the cost difference refunded.
It's Cox's responsibility to manage the line up to the point of demarcation at the house. If there are any issue between their offices and the demarc then they have to correct it at no charge to you. If they have to do work between the demarc and your modem, e.g. rewiring in your home, then you will have to pay additional.
Also the FB group. There's a lot of other ways to get involved that don't require full-time occupation. I'm planning on supporting through supply trips as needed.
This is one of my friend's photos. She posted in on Facebook. I tried Googling but could not find any information about when/if this time capsule will be opened. I'm curious and work near there and would like to attend, but I can't find a time. Anyone know anything about it?
Here is an article about it from the 1995 Gainesville Sun.
Have you tried airbnb?
According to this Gainesville Sun article, it contains "present-day UF memorabilia."
As a supplement to classes, there are apps like HelloTalk that connect you to native speakers to learn languages. He could practice English while helping others learn Vietnamese.

Housing here is the most expensive part of living in the area. If you can get outside of Gainesville a little the prices drop a bit. You can rent a home in a surrounding area for $1200-$1400 a month and in town that might get you little more than a one bedroom apartment unit. That will require you to have a vehicle of some sort but a car might be required in Gainesville if you are not close to campus and like your freedom.
Having a car also gets you easier access to many of the nature trails and other natural beauties of the area and there are many. Keep in mind that alligators are real and are not fenced in. If you see a sign that says they are in the area just pay attention. They will do their best to avoid you and you should do the same. I just know too many people that thought the "warning alligator" signs were a joke. If there is a body of water that you cannot see the bottom of assume there is an alligator in it. I don't want you to think they are going to chase you down or anything but just be mindful of them.

Holy shit haha I've been there. I took some promo pics for a local (aspiring) rapper and he fucking took me to that neighborhood... I'm a skinny white kid.
Hahahaha, I hear ya on Italian families. ;)
Another suggestion would be to try airbnb. If you don't know anyone with a large enough house, maybe you can find one to rent on there. This is the option I almost went with when planning my wedding in March, but we ended up throwing a house party at our own home instead. If you find a house you like, just message the owner and let him/her know of your plans. Some people are sticklers for the number of people they allow in their homes, but some don't care as long as you're respectful.
>In Alachua County, 90 percent of the money raised from the 5-cent gas tax goes toward paying for roads. The other 10 percent goes toward bicycle paths.
That's what they're whining about. Half a cent per gallon. Never mind their car and health insurance rates are some of the lowest in the state because of good health and vehicle accident statistics. Alachua motor vehicle death rate: 13.8, Florida: 15.7, Alachua emergency room visit rate: 246, Florida: 325.6
Ooh! A post I can actually contribute to on r/gnv! Husband and I just did ours a few months ago with Chris Conrad, owner of Scuba Lessons Jax. Everything is all in with his course and it is completed in one weekend at the Devil's Den (about 20 minutes outside of GNV). He is THE best. The best part about his course is that you actually dive Devil's Den to train on the second day, it's not some BS pool stuff. Highly recommend. He also has a groupon right now!
Have you checked groupon? There are a couple of deals for vision. https://www.groupon.com/browse/gainesville?lat=29.64225159999999&lng=-82.32891110000003&address=Gainesville%2C%20FL%2032601%2C%20USA&category=health-and-fitness&category2=vision
I would not equate "florida-ness" with midtown. When people think florida, they don't imagine drunk frat boys, they imagine red necks and old people. If i'd never been to Gainesville, I would expect it to be just like in Devil's Advocate, just another hick florida town. So it seems that is what he meant by florida-ness. Unless you are leaving out some other context.
Also, this: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/mindtree-to-open-new-us-development-center-2012-03-27
You got me curious so I googled and found this:
>Laundry detergent pods are convenient, but there’s a dark side to these cleaners from Arm & Hammer, Purex, Tide, and other brands: Since early 2012, poison-control centers nationwide have received reports of nearly 7,700 pod-related exposures to children age 5 years and younger.
The issue here isn't the pods, it's the parents. Laundry sheds and closets should be locked, or the supplies kept on a high shelf. I don't have kids yet, but that's the rule in my house. The story should be about how irresponsible these parents are.

One of the 3.5mm audio jacks needs to be replaced, because somewhere is loses contact. It works if you put pressure on the jack to make the wire make contact, but I would recommend replacing it.
I use CaptSure Humane Mouse Traps and found it perfect. Humane, easy to set and safe around kids and pets.
Highly recommended! Get it on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073GRKG88
Not sure where you can take coffee to have it ground, but I've got this grinder at home: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004T6EJS0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_UoWkFbH7H3PHE It's affordable and has been going strong for 4+ years now!
The only issue I've heard of with regard to VPNs has to do with DNS leaks. If your VPN software has proper DNS leak protection you should be fine. You can use this DNS leak test -- if it shows your actual ISP/location when you run the test then you may need to find a fiddle with your settings.
I had issues with PIA under some configurations and versions of their software. NordVPN so far has worked fine for me.
My concern is that with repeal of net neutrality ISPs might start blocking or throttling servers that they associate with VPNs, as many streaming services and other sites already do. So far though, I haven't experienced this with Cox or heard about it happening with other ISPs in the US.
It's actually because Niantic's other game, Ingress, has the feature where users submit real-world locations as "portals". Niantic likely took those location data and just copied it over on GO.
Lactase is amazing but I'm guessing it doesn't work well enough for you?
Covid somehow made me lactose intolerant despite never having a problem previously all my life, this changed everything:
https://amazon.com/dp/B07GS9ZKZX
Flattened my tummy too. Apparently lactose becomes "debris" in the stomach and GI in people who cannot process it.
It's all anecdotal, though. I'm on Cox and always have a solid 200/9 connection with rare outages, but clearly others in this sub have very different experiences.
This is the cheapest recommend cam from the dashcam subreddit, it's $60.
Highly recommend reading reviews and seeing if it holds up to FL heat though. I have a BlackVue, it was about $300, but it's lasted for 3 years and still going strong with 0 issues. The dashcam subreddit has a lot of recommendations so you can find the right fit for you.
It was, though... ? The end of January, it was like mid to high 20s every night for about a week. This would be a stupid thing to lie about because you can pretty easily check the weather history.
The great news is that by moving to a different state, your move is protected by the Federal regulations vs just state/local regs.
First step, is to review some thoughts from a publication like consumer reports (http://www.consumerreports.org/consumer-protection/find-a-moving-company-you-can-count-on/) or another type of company that works for consumers vs the moving industry.
A site like https://www.movebuddha.com/ will help you compare prices.
I'm not a big fan of BBB (they are a pay to change status) but google reviews are (at least for me) decently reliable compared to the experience I receive... much like a bell curve, sometimes it's best to throw out the very best and very worst reviews as a non-normal experience.
My experience is that you'll end up with 2 crews and a driver/partner. So the driver (and possibly better-half) will be with your goods the whole time and then hire a crew in the area they pick-up and drop-off. If your load doesn't take a whole truck, your stuff may share some space with another mover on the way to your destination.
Anyway, good to check local reviews from both locations because of the local crews that are also used.
Not sure about any support groups, but a friend of mine wrote a book about her experience with infertility.
I did read his article. It was entirely NIMBY cliches.
Here's a book I recommend on the history of zoning.
Decades of academic research disagrees with your opinion.
I urge you read Land use without zoning, https://www.amazon.com/Land-Without-Zoning-Bernard-Siegan/dp/0669820407
And arbitrary lines https://www.amazon.com/Arbitrary-Lines-Zoning-Broke-American/dp/1642832545
Dang, that is unfortunate. I wonder if the cameras at local nearby businesses would be recording. I know there's a bunch of gas stations and that McDonalds there too. For my dashcam, I use Blackvue DR750S-2CH, here's a link, it's not the cheapest but I've had it for over 2 years and have been super happy with it, it has held up great in the FL heat, which was my main concern when looking for a dashcam. Also highly recommend /r/Dashcam, in the sidebar they have a bunch of recommendations for cameras at all different price points.
Gainesville (and half of north-central Florida) is built literally out of a swamp. The bugs were trillions before humans ever were here.
Every delivery put on the ground before you pick it up is bringing them inside. They even track on your shoes.
Takes a long time to work because it doesn't kill immediately and crumbs have to be taken back to the nest but you can put boric acid tablets hidden around the room and they will eventually nibble on those and that's the end of that. Safe enough for humans and even if a pet accidentally ate one. https://amazon.com/dp/B001B1LI8A

You'll want to compare what LTE bands the Redmi supports and which bands carriers in Gainesville support.
Check the 4G supported bands here
If you get good reception with your current phone and carrier you can use the LTE Discovery app (Android only) to find out what LTE bands you're currently on. As long as the Redmi supports that band you should be good.
Run a broadband test to see your upload and download rates
I suggest using a server other than Cox, that way you will have an unbiased result. If you run a test with their server and your rates are lower than what you're paying for, then at least you have some quantitative evidence that they aren't providing the service they are promising.
Edit: I just ran mine (Cox Internet) with the Comcast server in Jacksonville, FL. I'm in Gainesville with Cox. I received 50 MBps download and 3 MBps upload.
I know you asked for a pre-owned but I thought I would post this just in case you are interested.
It's $500 but it's pretty reasonably priced for a laptop with a new i5, a decent sized SSD and a dedicated gpu (although not a great one, it's comparable to desktop GT 1030).

Except that the Supreme Court never said corporations are people (in this case, corporate personhood was first established in the 1800s). That is a fallacy perpetrated by the media. In fact, the reasoning behind Citizens United doesn't even deal with the idea of corporate personhood.
"If the First Amendment has any force, it prohibits Congress from fining or jailing citizens, or associations of citizens, for simply engaging in political speech."
Once you start saying, well the members of a corporation don't have free speech rights, it is a slippery slope. It becomes justifiable to say "no group has free speech rights" then the government has the power to regulate the speech of all sorts of groups, from newspapers to labor unions to girl scouts.

Me and my best friend own IllumenX Lighting, we do a ton of club lighting for different events for ORI and Organic Vision Presents. As of right now we have a contract to do the lighting for Mimosa when he plays at the venue next month. I also DJ around town whenever I get the chance to, most recently at Resonate. Most of our productions definitely push towards the ravier side of things, and we're working on making this year huge for the electronic scene and everyone else.
Tires rotated is pretty cut and dry. Just ensure the shop has the correct pucks/jack pads. You could even go ahead and buy a set on Amazon for < $30 to keep in the car. For brakes, unless you have an insane amount of miles on your car, they're probably fine due to the regenerative braking.
But if you insist on a nearby Tesla specialist, I'd probably go to Electrified Garage in Ocala like the other person said.
Since you asked! We had that same question.

If you tell me what school and year I can check Ancestry to see if they have it. I've found they are not likely to have yearbooks from the last 20 years or so though. Not sure how old you are.
EDIT: Actually I think you can search the database, you just wont be able to see the actual record without a subscription. Here is the U.S. School Yewarbooks database. Ignore the 1900-1999 date range in the name. Many databases get updated records but they can't change the name of the database because it would break people's source citations. Let me know if you find anything you want.

Was driving home, headed to 20 and the lighting got absolutely crazy since the western skies cleared up and the eastern skies were really dark. I knew a rainbow was going to show up somewhere, but this one blew my mind. I was trying to grab a panorama and lightning crackled through the rainbow
Wish it would have captured all of the lightning, but cool either way.

As far as caring for your machine, just make sure to clean the fuzz out and oil it from time to time as detailed in the manual. Pipe cleaners are wonderful for getting in between the feed dogs and the feed dog plate, and other hard to reach spaces. You'd be amazed at the amount of fuzz that builds up in those spaces! :)
Someone put up a Google doc, which doesn't have all that much as of yet.
Meeting at 3PM in the Sun Center works for me.
If you own, I recommend something like this. You can put it under your kitchen sink and any other sink that you like and it filters out almost all of the taste and smell from city water. The filter lasts about 6 months as well. You can purchase higher end filters if you have other products in your water.
You can sometimes find automotive repair chains like Midas Muffler or similar that will advertise low oil change specials, just to get you in there. But you'll often find that they'll try or have reasons to upsell you other services. If you've ever been into a car dealership and looked at new cars or taken your car to a dealer for service and they have your home or email address, they'll also send you periodic advertisements for oil change specials, mainly to get you back in the store. Places like Jiffy Lube tend to be the most expensive.
Being also older and not as into crawling under the car to drain the oil pan as when I was younger, I bought an oil change pump to eliminate that part of the oil change process and it's been a game changer for changing my oil. I still have to briefly get under the car to change the filter but it's made the ordeal more tolerable and cheaper. I got something like this for removing the old oil.
This happened to me once. It was awful. I went on vacation for a week and came back to a car infested with roaches. I have no idea how it happened. I had it detailed, which helped, but diligent vacuuming, a hard and fast "no food in the car" rule, and bombing the crap out of it every few days (which I know isn't advisable) took care of it. It took about two weeks to get rid of the problem.
I'm not advocating buying this on Amazon, but this stuff is a miracle worker. You put it on pieces of cardboard or painter's tape and the roaches eat it and die. It's pretty gross to deal with the dead roaches, but it works really well.

Actually, NBC is just a VHF (low band) broadcast versus a UHF broadcast, and the tower is in Newberry. Those "leaf" style indoor antennas have trouble picking up VHF broadcasts, but something like this should work.
They were by Brooks. They did have some mesh around the foot but most of the holes came from the seams starting to unravel. Similar to these shoes
Seems like other people on Amazon had good experiences with the shoes though, so I dunno. I personally won't buy Brooks again.
That really sucks. Also, you should buy these. I've slept like a goddamn baby in situations just like yours after discovering them. Have them on hand even if you live somewhere better now, no telling when you might need to not hear stuff.
Mattress from Amazon. Trust me. I would never buy a used mattress and mattress stores are in business to rip you off. I have done lots of research. This memory foam mattress from amazon is the best I have ever had. 4000+ 4.5-5 star reviews. My dad bought the 8 inch and loves it also. That one only has 6000 reviews! lol

I have this antenna mounted in my attic and it gets great signal. I'm in NW Gainesville near 34th & 39th.
>bonus points if the antenna can get NBC locally.
Good luck! Our NBC is notorious for having a lousy OTA signal.
I have three of these that I use in my condos on sw 20th avenue. They work well, although I haven't been able to pick up NBC. I pulled this recommendation from a site that specialized in antennas and cutting the cord.
I think it's easy to make judgment calls about other people's life over the internet, to be completely honest with you. I do not betray a lack of empathy over another man or woman's dilemma, and I do not think I am guilty of any sort of crime by posting here and pleading my cause publicly.
I have heavy police involvement in my life, that is a real fact. Obviously there's something going on. I'm not here about me, I'm here about the victims of electronic harassment and gangstalking. Again, before one says anything too rashly, I feel the best thing to do would be to keep an open mind because we could all be wrong about anything we put in writing on the internet. The truth of the matter is your judgments over another man or woman's life, not knowing them, do not stand. On the internet, or not. I've been dealing with people like you and responses like this ever since I started getting gangstalked, sometimes waves of 'em. It betrays a lack of empathy on your behalf, and contribution the degeneracy of a community who should be looking out for eachother.
I speak out of authority on this subject, and in force. You hear this from me, now. I'd rather you hear this from the man or the woman who is not able to defend themself against spiteful arrogance.
Here is some more educational material on dealing with abuse which would be good for this thread, and good if any other Targeted Individuals here in town come across this thread: http://www.manipulative-people.com/manipulators-can-make-you-feel-crazy/
http://www.amazon.com/Good-Sense-Cetirizine-Tablets-Count/dp/B00G9E1GYA
Although I remembered the price wrong, its $16 now. I looked it up and I paid $11 a year ago.
With 365 tablets it is more (much more) than I'll use before it expires (3 year expiration), but (at the time) it was cheaper than any of the other sizes on Amazon or locally.
There are other generics too, Wal-Mart has them and I'm sure CVS/Walgreens does as well. What you're looking for is "Cetirizine hydrochloride" (aka Cetirizine HCL, aka generic Zyrtec) and the regular adult dose is 10mg. Most I've seen come in 10mg, some come in 5mg - which is fine, you'll likely just have to take two.
Here is 50 feet of Cat5 cable for just under $10. I also saw 100 feet for $8.75.
I went off Cox TV about a year and a half ago and just use OTA for broadcast (as well as hulu, etc.). We have a Roku, the 1st generation. Pretty happy.
Anyway, we have one of the leaf indoor antenna (that's a link to amazon). It was $40 delivered.
We get fox, nbc, abc, cbs, cw, uf's channel 10 and mytv just from that leaf. All of the stations come in hd, and I was very surprised how good the quality of the picture was.
Well I meant it's on sale on Amazon/Steam for PC. R U Game is a local shop isn't it?
I am not selling the classic variety. I am selling something that looks more like this
I try to do local whenever possible, been happy with Wood You and the The Futon store on N 16th and Main St.
That being said... recently got this for a guest with an "extended stay." We ordered this mattress and this bed frame. Total cost for a queen size bed/mattress: $381.00 (including shipping).
Quality was awesome and it's better than the bed we're using ourselves at more than 3x the price.
Going out on a limb and assuming you are of the female persuasion. My little sister really liked this one, as did most of the young ladies of the day: Greased, by LTJ. I actually have a copy on pink, translucent vinyl somewhere... caught it a show. Hard to believe that was over a decade ago.
I have one of these and an old modular stereo system with tape decks and a broken equalizer. The amp still works.
I just wanted to add a few things to this. You can know the policies that each candidate are pushing for. And learn what every member of Congress has voted on since they were elected. (Android app)
