Check out spigen cases. I've had multiple slim cases from them that I really liked. Had my s10 for 2 years and never cracked the screen after some pretty bad drops. I have this one on my s20+ now.

I like the liquid glass screen protectors, they don't mess up fingerprints, and they're pretty decent
Lawnchair 2. I like it because I like a lot of the Pixel features and it's got most of what I like and none of what I don't.
I also don't have to buy a Pixel because I have watched my wife get warranty replacements with each of the models she has bought at least 3 times.

I'm currently using the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector on my S20 (amazon link here for specifications). The fingerprint sensor works perfectly for me, don't have to press too hard or try multiple times, and the curved edge of the screen protector also means that it doesn't get pushed up by my case (a problem I was having with a number of other screen protectors). I would highly recommend this product, and installation was a lot easier than it looks as well.
Since last August 2022 security update I can no longer scan for Bluetooth Long Range devices using NRF Connect for android app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.nordicsemi.android.mcp on my Samsung S20. Anybody knows if Android Bluetooth stack has been changed on this update?
I guess it might be a bit but if you are still looking, maybe you could give 'Trail Sense' a try. It has a nice and minimalistic GUI and it's open source.

My Anker cable started coming apart rather quickly. Likely because my desk chair sometimes rolls over it if I'm not careful, but afterward I ordered these and they have worked well for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z792GZL/

I would recommend and official Samsung wireless charger, I've used quite a few and some of the cheaper ones got my phone really hot. The charger linked below has worked great for me:

Have you got a regular S20 or something else?
With the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and the curved screen you want a film screen protector like https://smile.amazon.com/Protector-apiker-Coverage-Samsung-Friendly/dp/B082YMN7D7
When I've had that problem in the past (Galaxy S7 Edge) I ended up removing the card and copying the files on my laptop. I then double format the card, first doing a full wipe using this program, then using the windows utility for a quick format.
First of all, welcome to the dark side 😝
The first thing you should do is go to main phone Settings > About phone > Software info > tap "Build number " seven times or until you see "You are a developer". Now go back to main phone Settings, scroll to the bottom and you'll see a new section labeled "Developer options". Tap that and scroll down to Windows animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale. Change all of those to "0.5" to speed up UI animations, or change them to "Animation off" to disable animations entirely.
Next you should download Nova Launcher and use that as your default launcher. Go into Nova settings and explore all the options, and setup your home screen and app drawer to your liking. You should also consider buying Nova Launcher Prime, which offers extra features. It is definitely worth the money.
Next, open Google Play store and download One Hand Operation+. It is free and lets you customize swipes from the edges of the screen (I use it to swipe from the right edge towards the left to go back)
Next go to main phone Settings > Display > Navigation bar and enable Full screen gestures. You can disable gesture hints once you learn where to swipe.
Next go to main phone Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS. Change that to dns.adguard.com or check out https://nextdns.io for a fast DNS server that blocks ads. Be sure to tap "Save" to save DNS changes.
There are tons of other tweaks, but I'm tired and going to bed. I'll edit this post later with more fun stuff.
Just a thought but are you contacts synched to Google? if they are have you tried accessing your contacts at https://contacts.google.com/ if your contacts are, from Google contacts you can extract the contacts to a CSV (keep an original copy separate in case it all goes wrong), in excel open the CSV and remove the email addresses either by search/replace or delete. Then in Google contacts delete all your contacts and import the edited CSV...

Edit - If I recall Correctly Google takes a backup of your contacts anyway so if it all goes wrong I would expect that you can restore.
lol, s20 and note 20 phones will have this problem as the camera glass lens is so big. Samsung has noted this problem and they changed the camera glass into some small one of S21 this year.
you can purchase an original camera glass from luvss of amazon with tools as i have done before, and it will take less 10minutes to fix it.
how to replace the camera glass perfectly youtube video: https://youtu.be/FkQtk9FVtXs
I have no issues with the unlocked base S20 Snapdragon, OneUI 3.1 on my 2020 RDX. This is the cable I'm using. If you have access to another phone, friend's or family member's with AA, try to see if it works better.
Also, make sure the cable connection is secured. If it's gotten loose with bumps or vibrations while driving, that could disconnect it. AA is hyper sensitive to cable connection stability.
I bought one made by Elecjet and it did super fast charge for two or three months but now it only fast charges.
Don't know why it stopped super charging.
By all means try it, but every glass screen protector I've bought from amazon (uk) for the S20 either only had adhesive where the fingerprint sensor is or didn't stick at all (even from usually decent brands like ESR), they are often just shit and all the previous good reviews are for some entirely different product like shower gel or something. I have only had all this trouble with the S20 when trying to get a glass screen protector.
Use the return reason "performance or quality not adequate" to return stuff free to amazon.
The one you linked looks like it's only sticky on the fingerprint sensor for the s20 models, and the good reviews are for the flat screen protectors on other models.
Films have come a long way I think, there are some pretty decent ones with a tougher top layer and curved edges. These look the best out of all the ones I've bought https://smile.amazon.com/Protector-apiker-Coverage-Samsung-Friendly/dp/B082YMN7D7/
Might want to get a couple packs cause they can be difficult to apply without bubbles, give yourself a good several attempts. You'll also have to align it perfectly so the curved edges stay stuck in my experience.
I tend to find that bad reviews on the film screen protectors are people that have very little patience for applying them and have done a shitty job and given up.

> Don't bother with tempered glass as any case will more likely lift it up and I haven't seen any that of good quality.
Nonsense.
I use the following. Works perfectly with the Spigen Tough Armor case.

This seems to tick most boxes

Leather should provide a fair amount of friction/grip and is bright and protects the camera and screen with raised edges, mostly red with black edges
This is the one I'm using. With built in DAC chip. No background noise and overall working quite well with my S20.. This is the ugreen usb c to 3.5mm audio adapter (this is the version with DAC and compatible with s20)
AmFilm Glass ultra or regular. I've used AmFilm on my Samsung's since my S7. Love them. This was my last purchase: https://www.amazon.com/amFilm-Application-Compatible-UltraSonic-Fingerprint/dp/B084VT6PNF/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2W6C92D6ZDGAF&dchild=1&keywords=amfilm+ultra+glass+screen+protector+for+galaxy+s20+plus&qid=1612027639&sprefix=amfilm+ultra%2Caps%2C204&sr=8-1
Can you link the one you're taking about? I found this one but the reviews are consistently calling out ~30% battery drain.
This one is decent.
Slightly raised around the screen and camera. Probably good enough to survive a fall unless it lands on something.
Google play book https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.books
But if you said you couldn't find it then I'm not sure ... That's odd. I suppose think about another thing that may use night light. Any other book reading app ?
Does the kickstand work horizontally and vertically? This is the case I got because I really wanted the kickstand to work with both orientations: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LVMNZJ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Some things to note is that it still smells like glue, I just installed it tbf.
I was scared glue got into the speakers so I opened the sticker covering it and there was no glue, I pressed the screen a bit like an idiot and glue got in. (Only a bit) but when you put a cloth on it it absorbs very easily. So there's no glue.
They gave me a free wireless charger (other things to choose from) probably a slow one but its a nice gesture. Haven't received it yet tho.
And lastly there was a small spillage at the top. Really small. But the glue is like a rubbery thing so i scratched it off with my fingernail easily. Its not hard just rubbery.
And lastly if I contact support and they don't give me a replacement I will tell Amazon they lied about the fps and ask for a replacement : )
Anyways the link is this.
One more thing even after you place the screen protector you can still adjust it because it doesn't stay until you use UV light (wear glasses for your eyes). So my OCD made me perfectly align the camera but I can't stand the bubble.
Holy shit this was longer than I planned. Hope you enjoy!
Since the finger print reader is optical not ultrasonic it should work just fine with a glass screen protector. I got a cheap three pack and it works perfectly. It only covers the visible screen section of the front glass but that means it will work with any case.

Please consider getting the app and reviewing it, ill be updating it every week or so. Thx so much :)
Here is what I am using on my s20+ and I love it. Easy to put on and it hasn’t been an issue. Been on for over a month without issues

If you have a case and are ok putting a metal plate in between the phone and the case, this one will do the trick: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I9I8WGY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just mind you, keep the metal piece about 20% from the bottom of the case, otherwise wireless charging won't work.
My brother is a big Weathertech fan and got their CupPhone phone holder but there are similar yet "better" options on Amazon and this is one I use
The Encased Rebel case for my regular S20 is one of my favourites.
Both the side and top edges extend past screen and offer the best lay on the table protection of all of the far too many cases I have!
Would definitely recommend.
Go for a good brand... So many products on amazon are completely misadvertised, even with so many great reviews.
I purchased this back in June and love it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MZLDLB2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_yisMFbVZGV393?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I love the size of my S20+, I came from the Note 10+ which was a bit bigger and this feels better to me. Plus it's more powerful than the base model obviously. I wasn't interested in the Ultra, though, due to its size price difference.
I use Quick Cursor Pro to reach things up in the top left and it's pretty much automatic for me now. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quickcursor
As a bonus the S20+ with the Ringke Fusion X case on it fits PERFECTLY in a Razer Kishi controller when you remove the optional rubber grips from the Kishi.
So you want whenever you received a notification, even when you are not on lock screen(in this case; AOD is on) the edge lighting will show right? Have you try this ? I do not know if this is what you want but you might want to give it a try.

To the one reddittor who upvoted this and anyone else who may stumble upon it, I'm giving the app linked a try and will let you know how it goes. 😊
I built this app to beat spam and one of the perks is that it pays out for each call you block. It sounds like you'd be one of the top earners here :)

Sounds like you're connected to T-Mobile's low band 4G/5G which is for basic coverage more than high speeds. You might want to try an app that forces a specific LTE band (2, 4, 66). This one seems decent.
I'm 99% sure that Action Launcher supports this, since I've used both the back button swipe and the apps switching swipe on my phone.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.actionlauncher.playstore&hl=en
You can disable them or hide them with a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Lawnchair 2.
Not true. You can use CCSWE App Manager or Package Disabler Pro to disable whatever you don't want/use.
Haptics means the vibration you feel while interacting/typing on the screen. Gboard haptics is the primary reason I can't go back to Samsung keyboard.
Download CCSWE App Manager. Open it and give it device admin privileges. Scroll down to "Digital Wellbeing and parental control". Tap the app icon, it will change to a blue checkmark. Look at the bottom of the screen and tap "Disable". Done.
I have a s20 and use an apple dongle. I went the UAPP way and the volume boost was really good. The first section of this article explains how to reach the full volume with this app and also has a link to the reason this happens.
A way to test the full volume of the usb dongle is to plug it in a laptop and see whether it will be loud enough for you. If it is you can then see whether it is justified to buy the app as it's a relatively expensive one. I guess you can also buy and then refund it if it's not working well for you.
Disclaimer: I'm not trying to advertise this specific app, but it is the one that worked for me. There might be other apps that achieve the same.
This one does provide temperature, but I'm pretty sure that's the temperature of the battery (although I assume that also gets hot when your phone gets hot). Also, I don't know how accurate that is since the SoT doesn't seem accurate either..
I've had my phone also get quite hot every now and then (not lately now I think of it), but never so hot it bothered me. I certainly never experienced a drop of settings by the phone, as I've seen other people get...maybe mine doesn't get as hot?
I hope they can fix the issue in a software update, and if not bring it to a Samsung store and see if they can do a hardware fix under warranty... I'm not doing this anytime soon though since it's not bothering me.
Edit: quick Google gave me TempMonitor, which can measure the phone's temperature, if your phone has a device to measure the temperature, which most phones don't. Most phones only measure the battery temperature...idk about the S20 though.
You can try SideSqueeze+
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pocketdevelopers.sidesqueeze&hl=en_US
I haven't personally used it but it aims to simulate the same thing using the barometer in the device.
I assume it'll be faster now as it was not in stock on Amazon when I ordered. Not metal, plastic build. I like the stereo redirection because I was covering the speaker when I was using the phone without a case.
Can't remember where/who, but someone said they used this one (made for A51) and the camera cut out matched and everything - not perfect, but it worked for them. Haven't tried it personally
Edit: it was this thread!
Hands down THIS is the best case for the s20 line. Rubber material a bit tougher than standard TPU (I think), a hard plastic clear back, and an aluminium outer frame. Feels good in the hand and phone feels protected. I got the Best Buy exclusive s20, so it has an awesome deep blue I like to see, much better than the coral blue imo.
I currently have the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector on my S20 and I love it. I've tried a couple others before this one, mostly because it was a little pricey and I wanted to see if I could get away with cheaper products, but I don't regret this purchase at all! The installation was very easy and as someone who's never installed her own screen protectors before, I was able to easily do it myself on the first try.
One of the other pros of this product is the fact that the fingerprint sensor works perfectly with the screen protector, something I couldn't do with most of the other tempered glass protectors I've tried.
Another issue I was having with the other screen protectors I tried was that they would get pushed up and displaced by my phone case. I don't have that issue with the Dome Glass, which is amazing because that was my biggest issue.
I've only had the product on my phone for about a week, so I can't give you a review of what it will be like in the long term, but for now, I'm completely satisfied.
This is the one I ordered and really like it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H8L3HGW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_556EFbVC9378X
The back part has some texture to it. Also, mine came in before it said it would
I have 4 cases, including the samsung leather one, and this ESR case might be my favorite. Its definitely the most grippy. They have a few variants that would be more protective.
ESR Essential Zero Slim Clear Soft TPU Case Compatible with The Samsung Galaxy S20
I replace my screen protector with this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CXX4J6C/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_fab_oeFzFbD74V4PT
It comes with an alignment tool. You also get a protector for the camera bump.
It's not necessary but if you want to upgrade heres the one that I'm rocking at the moment and I would highly recommend it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BNRKKJT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Personally, I think it's the move.
But it's not glass, and the finger print is working great.
Granted this is for a s20, I bought the Spigen case for my s20 5g and the case protects the phone and camera bump really well. The case is not very thick and trust me, there's nothing I hate more than buying a super sleek, light weight, modern phone and putting an OtterBox monstrosity around it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082LX2VR9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This case definitely works best.. For me at least
Also I got the clear kind just so it doesn't hide the nice blue color of the back glass on this phone. No point in hiding that.
I've used IQ Shield before, it's good and cheap. I find that plastic screen protectors work better than glass on curved screens. Plus plastic works better with the fingerprint sensor.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084Q1GF7F/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_xdRkFbCPXQ3QE
After reading many reviews i decided to gove techmatte 's amFilm a try. The reviews were very positive, so why not. Cheaper than WS alternative and i figure the uv gel is exactly what these curved screens need. A tempered glass with a sticker around the edge just doesnt cut it. Its been 2 days and im really impressed. Easy to follow instructions that worked perfectly. And fingerprint scanner works better than with old tempered glass.they also make a glass for the cameras on back 👍👍👍👍👍 check them out https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084VSDG58?ref_=maas_adg_D9F809BBA5E030991D6E194F9E5BBBAE_afap_abs&ref=mm_d3380136-534c-438a-b052-61968f54e587
I'm on the same boat, this is the first time I ever buy a phone and there are hardly any case options on amazon.. I typically have 2-3 already in hand when I receive my new phone.. for now I just went with a cheap one on amazon but I hope they make more soon.. also got this screen protector: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JJ48TMK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hey! I don't know if you still wanted this info but I ended up getting the Otterbox Commuter anyway and bought a $40 screen protector off of amazon because this one seemed the least sketchiest. I just finished applying it and it fits well with the case and everything! Also works with the fingerprint scanner :)
I have the Galaxy Buds+, and got them when AT&T was having a sale on them for $119. I don’t know that I’d pay more for them. They do sound pretty good, but not much better than say a $50 pair off amazon.
The best sounding buds for my buck have been a pair of these after getting them for $12 from some facebook deals group.
