Well basically, an ACOG sight from Trijicon, the company that makes them, can cost around 1000 bucks. So, some companies will make fake ACOG sights that don’t work as well as the real deal, but will only cost you around 100 bucks.
So here’s an example of a real ACOG sight: https://www.opticsplanet.com/trijicon-ta31f-acog-4x32-scope-red-chevron-reticle-ta51-mount.html
And here’s an example of a replica one: https://www.amazon.com/CRUSHUNT-Hunting-RifleScopes-Chevron-Tactical/dp/B00GHD1BMA/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=acog&qid=1565546348&s=gateway&sr=8-3
Prey 2017 was made in CryEngine, which uses a visual scripting language called "Flow Graph" for game logic. Essentially it's an xml file that defines a series of nodes and edges, which you can drag and drop in a visual editor. Sounds great for people who have little coding experience, but it results in some horrifyingly complicated graphs for things that would be simple to code in a regular scripting language.
Tl;dr- it's not related except as a "reimagining"
The game is built with quixel megascans, here is the asset used : https://quixel.com/megascans/home?category=3D%20asset&category=Historical&category=Medieval&type=3D%20asset&search=Steps&assetId=scCxt
That IS a gorgeous deep cut! However, I wouldn't have walked away without sharing a link to this amazing Anthology, Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina.
Allow me to indulge my inner nerd for a few minutes with a few tidbits about the book:
If you've read this far without tuning me out, thank you!!! Lastly, if you're into VR at all like me, go and try out the SteamVR Home Environment based on the Cantina. It's not official, but it's as fine a slice of Star Wars lore as you'll find outside an official game.
Speaking as someone in the tech repair field, please, please open up your case and dust it out periodically. Just take it out onto your deck, patio, garage, whatever, and take off the side panel that exposes the most components. From there just give it a thorough dusting out with either compressed air or something more sustainable like this.
Hell, you might be able to drop by a local PC repair store and they may offer to do it for you either for free or just a few dollars for time spent. Dusting your PC is sort of like exercise; even the bare minimum is so, so much better than nothing and I can tell you I've seen high end components have two or three years taken off of their life because of poor maintenance of either that component or surrounding ones.
> or 3 not being sent to the shadow realm on pc where pirating is the only way to acquire that game now
Or you could just legally purchase a digital Steam code for the game from a very popular online retailer and install this guy's GFWL remover.
Discontinued ≠ impossible to find. Still, wish Microsoft would get around to giving more games the Master Chief Collection treatment. It would be great to get Gears of War 2, 3, and Judgement on PC, along with Fable 2 and a more permanent method of obtaining Fable 3, and maybe PC versions of a handful of old Rare games like Perfect Dark/Zero and the Banjo series.
