It isn't just leaked, but actually, the paid bundle was announced in MHY patch notes for 2.1, the 8th point under VIII. Other Additions. So yeah, it was initially planned to be a paid bundle, but I'm guessing given the major backlash for the anniversary, this was tossed out as damage control.

I hate to break it to you man but this isn't planned at all.

This is the Mihoyo Patch notes for 2.1 if you look on section VIII bullet point 8, you can clearly see it was intended to be for sale/purchasable and this is clearly damage control. here's the quote:

What bugs me is they released a statement saying that they will increase load for this update and the increase is dependent on the device yet all everyone got is enough load to place a tree or two, even for those who with high-end hardware.

They only took down the post version of the announcement (as in the version of it that allows comments and had the overwhelmingly negative responses).

After the 2.1 update, the update of 2.1 happens on 1st of september, until the start of 2.2 "MAINTENANCE", the maintenence for 2.2 is on October 13, so we will have from the start of 2.1, until the start of the maintenence of 2.2 to get her on ps4/5.

Sara works with pretty much every single electro. Beidou and Fischl snapshot, keqing just can do her burst damage in a 6s window. She also works with Raiden, who is only worth using with Sara when Raiden is C2. Otherwise you're better off buffing your other DPS, not raiden. If you think a character who functions as a support until c2 who then has access to a DPS role (but still with mostly downtime) is somehow not a support, that's a dumb take.

man, where to start. when I was a kid, this book and similar ones in the series got me interested in the stuff; I went to renaissance faires a lot in my early years, there's a whole youtube sphere dedicated to discussing and in many cases using historical weaponry (mostly associated with HEMA - historical european martial arts - or kendo/kenjutsu which is japanese)...also where I grew up there was an arms and armor display in a relatively major museum I've always loved. what I'm saying is my knowledge in this sphere is extremely eclectic to the point of being scatterbrained.

probably the easiest place to start would be a youtuber like scholagladiatoria - mostly a sword guy but he's covered quite a lot of the world in the exotic pieces he discusses and is a good introduction to surviving manuals of arms regarding the use of weapons, although unfortunately not as many of those survive as we'd like, especially when you reach back before the early renaissance as far as europe is concerned. additionally, if your general history interest extends to battlefield tactics and strategy, weaponry is obviously an enormous part of that - this isn't an area I'm especially strong in but I've always imagined that someone with a good knowledge of the warring states period or other decidedly martial periods in chinese history could do well to break down formations and maneuvers with an eye to the ideal use of the equipment the soldiers were using, for example

the most basic of what you look for in a keyboard is a) is it hot swappable, b) wired, bluetooth, or both, c) the layout: do you like 65%, 75%, etc do you need a numpad? and so on.

This 100%. I quit the game during 1.4 because I felt like there was nothing to look forward to. Only came back for 1.5 because I had managed to convince myself that Inazuma would be in what we believed at the time to be 1.7 (now 2.0), and the only way I did that was through leaks. If we had no leaks, I probably would have quit for many months and only came back partway through Ayaka's banner.

My issue is not the characters. I don't mind not knowing who's coming out when, I can just keep on saving. My issue is not knowing whether we'll be stuck with festivals and event-only updates for months or whether we'll get something new to explore or a major story addition in the next update. If only MiHoYo would go "hey, we're working on this cool new thing!" without saying when it's coming, it'd really help a lot because at least I'd know they're doing something. The last time they've mentioned working on Dendro was two years ago. It's just silly.
