It's only a $340 radar detector if you believe Amazon's incredibly misleading list price, which is higher than Escort's own $299.95 they list on their web site.
Amazon's normal price is around $184, so while it's a deal, it's not a $200 off deal.
Hey guys these are the same shirts that were available last year but are available sooner now since there was so much interest. Shirts can be found here: https://teespring.com/stores/mustang-holiday-shirts#
Thanks!
I have heard a rubber wheel like these works well.
Have your own financing set up before you walk in.
Get a minimum of three dealers competing for your business.
Sell your car on your own, do not use it as a trade in, most people will get more from a private sale than a trade in.
Do your due diligence.
Here's a good place to start. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cars/buying-advice/index.htm
Kind of a moot argument, since the plane was named after the horse. So either way, it comes down to the horse, and that leads to:
"Said to be influenced by the Spanish word mostrenco "straying, wild," which is probably from mostrar, from Latin monstrare "to show."
They are indeed seat covers! They were the cleanest looking ones i found & ones that looked closest to actual red leather seats. Some people that even get in it think they're real even after sitting on them! Heres amazon link i definitley reccomend✊

I'm all in with the guys that want to lower their ride. I'm sure that this guy is proud of his. All I can say is that I just don't understand why ....
+1 if you think about it from a color theory perspective (UX designer here). Kona blue (hex value #202754) has the complimentary color (hex value #7A6223), which is a shade of yellow. Seen here: http://paletton.com/#uid=23U0u0kmLfneOnOiciGrkaSxX6s
So "technically" yellow should be quite appealing visually.
If you're looking for some interior lighting for some night time vibes i 19/10 reccomend these too. Look at the pictures of what they look like installed, they look exactly like the pic IRL. The mustang is perfect for them too, pm me if you want a video of them in mine so you can see what itd look like and where theyd go

It’s changes it to carbon fiber, but I recommend this…I have it on mine and it looks great.

Meguire's Hot Shine sprayed on a round applicator pad (I would suggest using gloves).
I'm not sure why it says on the Amazon page to only spray it on directly, I have only ever used a pad to apply it and it works great. On some tires (such as the tires on my dad's 89) if you apply it in direct sunlight it fades and looks bad, but I've never had that issue with mine.
I put in a LUK in mine as a daily about 4 months ago and it feels quite nice.
It softened the clutch a little bit, but otherwise, it's a pretty great replacement, especially because the kit has all you need and it is at a very reasonable price (in comparison to every other replacement clutch out there).
Good eyes. I missed that.
It must be fun in that house on Sundays during football season if there are both Bucs and Panther fans in there.
They could get one of these. confederate-lgbt-flag
A guy I worked with who was flamboyantly and over the top absolutely fabulously gay, his own description, had one of them. He loved to embrace and exaggerate every stereotypical gay behavior, just to screw with the really uptight and homophobic rednecks we had at work.
Pro tree is a bit different. It is essentially yellow green. It doesn’t have the second yellow. I have never seen a pro tree used out side of nmra/nhra/ihra competitions, not saying it doesn’t happen.
This is a pro tree: https://www.shutterstock.com/video/clip-65191-nhra-drag-racing-pro-tree-light-betacamsp

Get a head gasket test.
I have seen a issue like this before, but what was happening was that under wide open throttle, the heads would lift a little and then allow coolant to be burnt, but then when you let off the car 100% normal.
This is a good tester, try it out, you might even have to go for a drive if it comes back negative for a head gasket leak, then open it hot, very dangerous, but then you will get those gas’s into the fluid and see you need new head gaskets
Might behoove you to get a seat cover.

It'll help with indentation from the base, and of course from food and stuff. Because of course "I won't let them eat in my nice, clean car" turns into "uggh, how long has that banana been there?"
Awesome! Do you have the 5.0 or the 3.8? I picked up a 95 this year, it's a fun car.
I dont have any specific books, but give this site a quick read https://lifehacker.com/the-preventative-maintenance-you-need-to-do-on-your-car-1394196018.
Alot of automotive maintenance is fairly similar. Depending on your 94s miles a full "tune up" would be a great start. Things like oil and oil filter change, spark plugs, air filter, transmission fluid, brake fluid, rear differential fluid, ignition wires as well as rotor and cap for distributor.
If that sounds like alot, trust me it's not. Simple tools and a space to work are all you'll need.

Are they the same as the ones on my car? I've already got $200 plus a bunch of labor wiring them up, and will probably opt for a similar set that will take the H1 HID bulbs+ballasts that I have but have clear lenses -- something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mustang-GT-LED-Angel-Eye-Halo-Projector-Headlights-BLK-/230665286587?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AMustang|Year%3A2004&vxp=mtr&hash=item35b4b8f3bb
I can reuse the HIDs that I bought, and buy a second kit with H7 bulbs for the low beams. That's what I'm thinking.
As it sits right now I think the issues are twofold -- 1) the projector casing, though it lists H1 as a standard are really for H7s. 2) The lenses are smoked -- makes the headlights have a really cool blacked-out look, but essentially makes them close to worthless for night driving (the whole point of having headlights ...)
The H1's helped a bit -- I can now see at night and tell the difference between off and on, which wasn't the case before I installed the kit.
Let me know if you're in a similar boat, it would be interesting to compare notes.
You're gonna want a performance driveshaft, too. The OEM 2-piece setups don't handle the extra power very well.
I just saw a '14 ProCharger 3.7 in Offerup Seattle, look what this guy's done to his:

That is awesome! I have wanted to tour Yellowstone in my Mustang since the day I bought it.
Have you been to Yellowstone before? If you have time check out the Artist Paint Pots. Link
I live 20 miles from The Tail of the Dragon so that's the most sought out option here. 318 curves in 11 miles up the side of a mountain. Unfortunately on busy days it can be a parking lot when someone has done something stupid.
https://roadtrippers.com/stories/tail-of-the-dragon
We were there a few weeks ago during ZDayz. Let's just say I stuck out just a wee bit.
Take a look at the front, and compare it to the tire shredding unicorn with similar dip in the video. It's quite a bit different, so unless this was probably taken a while back, doesn't seem to be the same car.
Also, look at fallout's instagram. It's not actually the same car.
This one is $16,500. 68k miles. Do you think premium and less miles is worth $6000 more? And id have to drive to palm beach for the 13k mile one. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/426883491389980/
Pretty good deal. Just bear in mind to keep your eyes peeled in places other than just Craigslist... I found mine on Facebook Marketplace.
You're right... your GT market isn't very friendly downstairs. Best I could find in that department:
$5k 05 Gray auto convert. with 120k, and $6.3k 05 Gray 5spd coupe with unknown miles (plastidipped bumpers, don't fret). Other than that...
Flowmaster 817592 Outlaw 409S Stainless Steel Aggressive Sound Rear Dual Exit Axle-back Exhaust Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094G191K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kPRCCbFZ5QMXP
I had a set of these. Super easy to install and the sound is epic. Be warned, it is loud but muscle car loud.
I recently was in the market for one of these as well to combat a slow leak. There are two types - ones that only hook up to the cigarette lighter socket in your car, or ones that run on both AC and DC power (home or car). I ended up going with this AC/DC Tire Inflator but they also have a less expensive DC only Tire Inflator as well. Highly recommended!
https://www.amazon.com/Radar-Mount-Mirror-Power-Inline/dp/B00RA38XEK You don’t have to do all the hassle of hardwire, get this and plug the black+red thing to the back of the rearview mirror. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55544 this one is for installation guide
Yes $86 each. I'm in Canada and I've been looking at potentially shipping them from the US. Best deal I found was $40 for the pair but it would cost me $51 in shipping and then convert that to Canadian Dollars and potentially a fee at customs... I'd save about $25 in total getting it shipped.
I'm currently debating between the Roush axel-back and this one. I can't find any reviews for the MagnaFlow one nor any videos. Both options are reasonably priced. Personally, I want anything that sounds better than stock.
I found this on amazon, any thoughts? I can't find any reviews or videos on it for the mustang.
No jokes please. :)
I think these are probably soda stains from a time when I accidentally knocked the lid off a drink pulling it into the car.
Does anybody know how to clean them? So far I have tried a single product - "Turtle Wax Cleaner and Stain Remover" - but it has not helped at all.

Yes it is. Install was a breeze. Bought the mount and the mirror tap on Amazon. Here's the link. https://www.amazon.com/PerformancePackage-Mirror-Mount-Bracket-Wire/dp/B00JFKE2MI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1472698547&sr=8-3&keywords=escort+mirror+mount
This is the tire coating I used: Gyeon Tire. It was on Amazon Prime recently, they must be out of stock now.
The shine will last about a week or until your first wash. However, it'll leave a clean & matte finish after the initial shine wears away. The protection will last 4+ weeks.
Another alternative is Carpro PERL. It can be diluted to various levels for difference in appearance. The only thing about this product is that it's very finicky to work with. As in, the tire must be 100% clean (or as close as you can get it), otherwise it'll look splotchy and uneven after it cures. It's similar to the Gyeon where it'll last about a month, the shine will go away after a week or so.
Nah, it's just a normal hose attachment. It's the Gilmour Foamaster II gun. It seemed like it was the highest rated for ones under $50 so figured I'd give it a shot. It does great, it definitely puts a nice layer of foam on the car. I am using Chemical Guys Mr. Pink wash. The foam gun is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Y190WE/
I don't think so, i'm pretty sure it's the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR module that is relaying the information to the stock display, which is a really nice feature
Is this the detailer you were referring to?
Also, do you know of any good YouTube channels or resources online to learn how to do all this with the hot water extractor or wet sanding? I know it may be cheaper to have someone else do it once, but I'd really like to learn how to do it myself.
Thank you very much!
I pretty sure they are aluminum maybe billet but that is a stretch. I would use Eagle One Never Dull. That shit works on everything like a charm!
It took about an hour to install, I got the direct-wire smart cord and this rear view mirror mount. I went directly to the fusebox on the passenger side and used a fusebox "add a circuit" kit. Powers on/off with the car. I'm pretty happy with the setup.
I'll add in that yes it probably is a dying fuel pump, but doesn't have to be. I wouldn't just replace the fuel pump without testing some things first. What I'd do is first make sure it's a fuel issue and not a spark issue.
First, I'd use something like this while re-creating the problem to see if there is a pressure issue. If it is, I'd check both the fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator, which is easy enough.
If not, I'd use something like this because a problem with the ICM, a coil, or even the ignition switch can create this symptom.
Some questions I would ask about the problem that might help isolate it:
1) When does it happen? Is it when it is cold, like sat over night? Has/does it happen after its warm? (say park, run into the gas station, come back, start it?
2) Can you knowingly recreate the situation, or anticipate when it will occur? (Like, it happens mostly when it's very cold/hot, air is dry/humid, anything that can help identify when/where it will happen) Or does it seem like it is just completely random?
3) When the car won't start does it crank? If not do the lights dim? (a failing clutch position sensor is the thought here)
4) If you know to recreate the problem, do you have to crank the motor before the 30 second wait/prime time? Can you prime the pump (turn the key to run and back off several times) and get it to fire the first crank?
Two suggestions, first is to get yourself a California Duster so you're not hurting the paint removing the dust and secondly I like Covercraft covers. Just be sure to buy an outdoor (weatherproof / waterproof) model regardless of brand.
These last longer and are more aesthetically pleasing
My brother bought mine from Amazon.com I don't remember exactly what brand it was because my brother bought it as a Christmas present. It looks great though!
Are you doing the install yourself? Because having someone do it is where it gets pricey. Luckily for me I found someone on craigslist that did it for $250 because he wanted to add it to his portfolio when he was done.
Anyways, with a quick Amazon search I've found quite a few in your price range. I recommend going for the sailcloth, anything less durable is pretty much a waste of money as it won't last very long.
Here's one similar to the one I have:
Loving your setup! I'm trying to install the AVH-4100NEX as shown in this Amazon link:
Can I use the same dash kit and a stereo adaptor (do you have a link for this?) like your setup? I'm a bit of a noob. Oh and I have a 2003 Mustang. Thanks!
Does yours still have a tape deck? I use a tape deck adapter on my 460, it works pretty damn good.
Not sure how well it would work in a mustang but back when I had an '89 F250 I installed this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00II5GF0S/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_YpYPvbGZW9E5N cheap setup that worked a lot better then I thought it would.
There is a reason every new car has power steering. Its 100% better at speeds lower then 8mph. Otherwise its hand over hand pulling hard to move the tires. And if you have big IE 245 wide or bigger meats up front. Yeah its worse.
The ones American Muscle has suck TBH, the paint wears off and the closed end is old fashioned looking. I got these on a recommendation from a popular wheel manufacturer and love them. They are anodized black so the finish is durable and not corny looking. Worth the extra $30.
Lanzar VCTBS8 Vector 8-Inch Super-Slim 600-Watt Active High-Power Subwoofer Enclosure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001RJMN5S/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_7oIzvb19PFXF4
This is the amp+sub I bought. Very compact and decent sound. I'm sure that bigger subs sound better, but will start to consume your trunk space.
http://www.amazon.com/16-oz-Poorboys-Leather-Stuff/dp/B000E300C6
Excellent product, leave it on and don't buff it. It will stay shiny. Buff with microfiber after it dries for a more natural finish. My car still have factory leather that is damn near perfect. I only use this.
I had a Jeep for a while last year and asked the same question on a Jeep forum and I was recommended this product.
Im not sure if the convertible top on a Mustang is the same material as that on a Jeep but this product worked very well for me. I still use it on the black plastic pieces and it keeps them looking nice and black. I think its supposed to help them from fading.
Not sure if this is what you were looking for but hopefully it helps!
I just ran across this RCA to 1/8" Panel mount cable... This may help make the install cleaner looking.
amazon link
On ours, I cut the 1/8" end off and soldered it to a panel jack but the cable I linked above would have made it easier...
I used an add-a-fuse in my car to give me a power source that wasn't on after I turned off my car (like the standard power outlet is in my fusion). Took about 20 minutes up under the dash.
I hooked something like this into it. I mounted that up under my dash and ran my GPS to it... now my GPS fires up and goes off with my ignition.
I just had to find a circuit that went on and off with power.
If I want to add a second item, like a dash cam, I plan on putting a cigarette lighter splitter in under the dash on it and plugging both in.
Just have to be sure you pick something with enough amperage on the fuse to handle your items.
I don't remember where I found it, but there was something I read awhile back that Armor All actually causes your tires to end up in a worse condition putting this stuff on than if you would have done nothing at all. Basically the stuff they put in it is just like the stuff that they use for their interior spray which creates a greenhouse type effect (Lets heat/energy in but not out) and will brittle/dry out anything you use it on very quickly.
It was actually so bad that it started melting my ex's dash. I can't imagine (If this is still the case and I imagine it still is) that it's very good for your tires as that would make them more slick and cause them to deteriorate quicker than normal.
If i could recommend an alternative, Opti-bond Tire Gel and PoorBoys Tire Dressing Gel are great products that will do nothing of the aforementioned. But this is all just opinion/recommendation based on what i've read and witnessed
Actually I'm considering dropping 100 on a proper drier. The problem with regular leaf blowers is, they'll blow particles and shit on your baby ruining the paint, or covering it in contaminants that screw with your wax job.
Something like This is ideal. Not only do we have to worry about water marks, but since it's black paint swirls and such show up, this helps since it's touchless and filtered.
Just get some 1/4" Ford panel pins from your local auto parts store.
They are made by Dorman and are in the help section. At Oreilly Auto Parts they are about $2.50 for a 2 pack OR they can get you a bigger pack (I think it was 20) in a bag (instead of blister pack) for about $9.
If you can't find it, let me know and I can at least get you the p/n for the package I picked up last week.. (I broke a few of the pins you are missing when I changed out a fog light bulb)
Edit: I found the size/style I'm using on Amazon.. - http://www.amazon.com/Fascia-Splash-Shield-Retainer-14093088/dp/B004ATLYEI
The person used quick detailer instead of the paste wax.
This is what should have been used.
