So a few tips,
Put the NYCFC app on your phone and have it alert you to when a game is starting and when the starting XI is out. Also if you want put the games in your calendar so you know in advance of when were playing.
Subscribe to the YouTube channel, we're one of the teams that puts out a decent amount of content, behind the scenes of games and training are usually the best content.
Go to as many home games as you can, tickets are cheap and even if we lose its always more enjoyable to watch a game in person.
Watch more soccer in general. The best thing about soccer is if you try hard enough there is almost always a game on, at any time in the world. Granted most of Europe is winding down play for the season, but national teams have competitions in the summer and MLS is in full swing. The easiest way to find a game is if you have an Android device to install the app Soccer on TV (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mfutbg.app) it gives you a schedule of games around the world, when there starting, what there score is, and what channel or service you can watch them on. Also you can enable push notifications to let you know when the match is about to start.
Lastly feel free to ask questions on here, and don't be afraid of seeming dumb, we want to encourage everyone to love the team and the sport. So whether it's about the most basic rules and tactics of the game, or some crazy idea you had and want to hear other people's opinions on.
As for jokes there's a ton, but you're better off asking if you don't get a reference.
In limited action he looked good. According to fotmob he played 14 minutes, 17/19 passing(89%), 1/1 on duels, 1/1 on aerials, and 1 recovery.

The problem isn't so much whether Lampard was loaned or not. The problem is that for five months, both New York City and Manchester City straight up lied about what Lampard's situation was.
They gave every impression that Lampard had signed with New York City, and was loaned to Manchester City. By FIFA rules, a player can't be under contract with two different clubs, so that's why everyone thought Lampard was being loaned to Manchester City.
It was only as last night's deadline loomed that everyone started finding out the truth of the matter. Had Lampard not performed as well as he has, it's entirely possible we wouldn't have ever known.
So, yeah, I'd be pissed. This is legitimately a big deal: At best, City Football Group consciously lied to everyone for five months, hoping no one would find out. At worst, they knowingly broke the rules. Either way, they deserve every bit of flak they're getting.
Gonna give my boyz /u/beatsbytre and /u/jakebecknation a shout for their hilarious and fun Blue Balls podcast. They know their stuff but I enjoy their side-tangents, funny banter and punny titles.
It'll be important for today's game day and others coming up - you might need to find a stream or listen on the radio.. I work for a TV provider and I know how tough it can be to get a same day appointment, especially in the city.
EDIT: Apparently PlayStation Vue has Yes: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/vue/

should do the business
I’ve been using NordVPN. Paid for a yearly subscription (i think it was some sort of half price promotion) and have been using it with no issues. I don’t have yes network so I’ve been watching most games on espn+ and it works seamlessly. I also watch some Brazilian games using it and recently saw the Wimbledon final while connected to Australia.
I tried using TunnelBear in the past, but NordVPN has been working much better.
In New York without cable, I use NordVPN paired with ESPN+ in order to get around the local blackout restrictions (which means even as an ESPN+ subscriber you can’t stream NYCFC matches if you’re in NYC). This doesn’t work for nationally televised matches but for those I rely on Hulu+Live TV.
"In fact, fans unfurling anti-fascist and anti-racist signs have felt the weight of this enforcement, including the brief confiscation at Yankee Stadium of a banner that read 'No Hate.'" https://www.huffpost.com/entry/new-york-city-football-club-far-right-extremists_n_5c76d679e4b062b30eba721a?otq
I use ExpressVPN on my MacBook so I can stream blacked out games via ESPN+, and use Apple’s AirPlay to push the feed to my TV via AppleTV. Works every time with good resolution and no lag. I do have Verizon Fios for internet and a good WiFi router.
FYI, there's a real hero in /r/MLS that makes awesome youtube streams, they're better quality than MLS Live streams. Hop into the match threads and he'll be around.
If not, grab yourself a VPN account (Private Internet Access is a decent provider), route your traffic through Mexico, and hit up MLS Live
I read a book on pigeons called Superdove back in 2008. It was a decent book, a history of pigeons.
They're not so bad and I like the nickname.
Only home XXL at the lower price, the away seems to be ~$50 in most sizes
