As far as specifics about it goes, if you want it to last as long as possible I would suggest hang drying it. The first one we bought ended up lasting about six years and that was with occasional machine drying. The one in this shot we picked up about a month ago and we're going to only hang dry it and see how long it lasts.

Also, I wear mine differently than it's intended to be worn, which you can try for yourself to see if you have a preference. Even though this harness is technically a jockstrap style, I pull the bottom straps up in between my cheeks basically giving myself a wedgie lol.
