If you drive a lot, invest in a remote starter so you dont freeze your ass off waiting for it to warm up.
If you walk a lot, invest in a pair of good shoe cleats. Yaktrax are pretty good.
If you're a kid who is going to spend the day out in the snow, save bread bags and put them over your socks so your feet stay dry.
Yeesh, are you sure you're good to operate one? Respects, man.
For what it's worth, I'm partial to this stuff. It's just dynamine methylliberine with some other stuff added.
Thank you! I'd definitely be open to having this illustration printed in some form. I sell prints now (of other artwork), but could look into also having this on a T-shirt or stickers :)
I may also submit a modified version of this as a new Rochester Snapchat geofilter. My old one is seeming a bit dated!
go check local pawn shops. After 7 days they can legally sell things if not on a police list. Also check craigslist, offerup.com , letgo, eBay, and Facebook marketplace. There are several Korg N1 on eBay now, but none show from Rochester. However the pawn shop thieves are smart, they will show their location from another city. See if the one's on eBay look like yours or have any identifying marks.
If you have a little bit of money, AirBnB often has listings for places that as cheap as 12 - 18$ / night, often negotiable. (I realize that the "if you have a little bit of money" is a big if, but some people don't realize that these sub-motel priced places exist, so I thought I'd throw it out there.) This place for example, goes for 12$/night. It's a tent, but with bathroom and wifi.
Just some insight. Staff were aware that things were going downhill. They were often working without being paid (correctly or sometimes at all). If anyone was charged, I would highly recommend disputing the charges with their CC company. Tell them it closed with no warning. The staff were just as much the victims in this as we were, so be nice to them if you see them around. I did some quick googling and tracked down the following information on the owner: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/steve-werner/1a/95b/b13 http://businessfinder.syracuse.com/sign-a-rama-syracuse-ny.… Sign A Rama Of Syracuse was founded in 2004, and is located at 3060 Erie Blvd E in Syracuse. Additional information is available at www.signarama-syracuse.com or by contacting Steve Werner at (315) 446-9420. So have fun with that, and good luck to those that need to get things from lockers.
Pick whatever lake/area you'd like. Personally I like Canandaigua the best. Not a ton of weeds, clear lake, calm enough you can go waterskiing nearly anywhere on it...
AirBnB is pretty great.
I honestly don't know if its any good because I barely ever listen to it, but there is a local conservative talk radio guy as well, Bob Lonsberry. https://www.iheart.com/podcast/The-Bob-Lonsberry-Show-20922208/
Please, someone else comment on whether its worth listening to or what kind of grains of salt to take with it, but for the sake of completeness I thought it would be good to know what you hear about the Rochester region on the station that plays Limbaugh and Hannity.
I'll note that usually I do listen to the other two suggestion, Connections and Capitol Pressroom.
No you do not.
If you're interested in a little (adorable and never used) cat scratch tower let me know. Here's the link from Amazon My cat wanted nothing to do with it and it's sitting here, sad and unused.
I also have a never used kitty litter pellet box. My cat also refused to use that thing though the reviews are great.

Dude, I'm not sure why you're all twisted up about imaginary internet points and handing out an email address, but I will provide you with a suggestion;
Email addresses are free. If you really care about your privacy, go to the library, plug in Tails, turn on your VPN, create an account at someplace like Proton Mail, and choose an address like . Then you can give them that the next time you emerge from your off-the-grid faraday cage.
Hey folks, I represent Whole Latte Love , a Rochester-based (Henrietta!) online retailer of coffee and espresso products (The largest, to be completely correct). Whole Latte Love has been around since 1997 and has consistently and steadily expanded since then, leap-frogging from one platform to the next as technology improved and new opportunities appeared.
Right now, we're at the tail-end of re-platforming onto Magento 2 and need to grow our in-house design/development team to support our long-term goals of ~~complete global domination~~ maximizing our presence the online coffee world. At the most basic level, we're looking for a front-end or full-stack developer familiar with PHP, HTML5, Javascript, CSS and modern design and development practices and at least a few completed projects under their belt, but we're also a small team looking for a suitable personality match. We want someone who can join our motley crew and bring their unique expertise, their experiences, and their personality to the table.
More specifics can be found on our official job posting here. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me a PM.
As a side bonus, you'll also have free access to what's basically an unlimited coffee and espresso and the means with which to make pretty much any other type of coffee drink possible.
There are several motorcycle groups on meetup.com. Ready2Ride is one of them I think. I have been on rides with all of them and always had a good time. Sometimes there is a guy with an attitude but whatev. There are several organized clubs but I don't know much about them, other than they have their leather, vests, MC name, title etc. Personally, I ended up with a group of 3-4 riding friends and we have had several dozen rides over the past few years.

As far as geography, we have it all. 1-2 hour finger lakes rides, niagara falls, Adirondacks in 4-5 hours. PA rides are a good full day ride and no helmet law down there.

Have fun riding this season and stay safe.

Got a link you could provide? Any time I've checked Amazon (including now), there's nothing even close to that price point. I'd definitely be in at $1.25 (I'd expect to pay more for that locally).
$45 for 10. $4.50 a cup.
>So what exactly would RG&E hiring replacements for their retiring employees done?
It would've given them more resource to do preventative maintenance and infrastructure upgrades on the front end. You have a team of 5 people, 2 retire, you don't backfill, you're down to a team of 3 people. It's simple math.
>And what do you mean exactly by "disinvest[ing] in infrastructure"?
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/disinvest
I don't get what is so hard to understand here. It was "pay me now or pay me later". The more you do to prepare on the front end the less issues you have to deal with on the back end. I am NOT arguing that all of this mess could have been avoided; however, RG&E power grid is demonstrably more fragile than it should be and so you're going to have outages that last longer than they otherwise could have. These line-men have been busted their ass round the clock for days to make up for decades of deferred maintenance by RG&E.
This might be a reference to it?
Wonder if it's the same Haag of Haag's Alley.
Here is a neighborhood map that has a pretty good visual of all the surrounding neighborhoods.
$1000 a month will get you a nice 2br apartment anywhere in the city. East has the higher priced (and often nicer) units, Park has a mixed quality but the neighborhood is very nice. You should check out Upper Monroe, rental units don't come up as often but it is a more quiet neighborhood that's still within walking distance of many nice bars and Cobbs hill park (if you like to run).
My wife rides around the lake every summer. She is NOT a fan of riding on busy roads, but is comfortable with this one. Especially in at least a small group. I don't know about hosted rides, but this is roughly the loop she does. You can find it on different websites. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/21285399?lang=en
It was October 22nd. Dawn was at 7:33am. There are a LOT of people who leave for work before then.

dry/drought yes
100 no but dew point has been high for the last few weeks overall
though not dry in a short term sense due to heavy rains in some parts today

software is a pretty simple three-step process to recover corrupted or deleted files so long as they have not been extensively written over (will usually take several hours to run)
tell friends and family you do "Data Recovery" on the side and charge em $20 bucks to save their shit when they screw up their computers. (a.k.a. "profit")
Bomani Jones had a great breakdown of why this whole story was fishy from the beginning. First the part about Lochte backtalking the robbers and not getting pistol-whipped or worse, then the fact that they arrived back at the Olympic Village laughing and joking on video, and also the fact that Lochte's cellphone, watch, and expensive shoes did not get taken.

So, I'm one of the people who was upgraded, but I have a question for people who understand this stuff.

I have a Knighthawk x6 router, and the Netgear app built-in speedtest is telling me I'm getting 416 Mbps down, which is on an iPhone connected wirelessly. A Macbook Air connected using fast.com AND using the Speedtest by Ookla (the same one the app uses) both tell me my speed is 90 Mbps down. Why would there be such a disparity when they're both connected wirelessly?
> My laptop often cannot connect for several minutes.
If you cannot connect to the WiFi network then the problem is either your WiFi AP or the laptop.
Do you have an ethernet cable? Plug your laptop directly into the modem provided by Greenlight (the thing that usually plugs into the Nighthawk) and try the download bandwidth test at https://fast.com/ first. This will give you a good indication of the link speed from Greenlight. If that shows a similar rate to what they've advertised then your problem is likely downstream from their equipment (i.e., your problem). You might need to power cycle the Greenlight modem when plugged into your laptop in order to receive a DHCP lease.
Try Instapaper or equivalent service?
Edit: Added link, above. Also, can confirm Instapaper works great with D and C's website. It makes the articles much more readable (visually, at least).

I photographed for them the past two years. It's a fun time and you do get to meet all sorts of people/artists/new friends, locally and globally.
Look into the new wafer style lights that give you the look for recessed lights but are way easier to install, and a heck of a lot less expensive. I did the ones linked below myself.
This one is a little more expensive, but has some useful attachments. You disconnect the vent from the dryer, hook up a vacuum to that end, then use the brush to clean from the other end. It gets everything.
I had direct TV and cut the cable about a year ago. I bought this off of Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZI9LWS2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Z1KlzbZQ4TS7D it was easy to install. Put it on the poll my satellite was. Unplugged the coax to the dish and plugged it into the antenna and every room that had a DirecTV box now has OTA. I sometimes have issues with cbs but I'm told that's common.
I recommend this from Amazon. I wore them at Billy Strings show last night! Agreed with /u/D00zer they're far better than foam yet bring the volume down. https://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-High-Fidelity-Earplugs-Standard/dp/B00G0PPTAK
ok then I would suggest using Google earth and look up and down this street
Its called the Gold Coast.. huge houses... and if I had to bet the house you are looking for is on this street
What plan do you have? I know we have the cheapest plan and we never break 1 meg down. Its pretty awful (trying to convice my roommate to upgrade)
My parents ( comcast customers) bought a modem on their own http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16825122009
It saves them rental fee and many claim to get some extra speed out of it. Not sure how valid claims are, but not paying rental fee is always nice
you certainly should call tech support esp if it wont cost you anything for them to come out and look. Depending on how you have it split can drastically affect your service.
While many people in the area have issues with frontier service, some do see 6+ service depending on where you live. That might be an option if TW is no help.
lmao, I've been to Maine and other rural Walmarts. Whats the hillbilly equivalent of sketch? A lot of the toxic inner city culture and toxic rural culture are identical.
Edit: just did a quick search and there's been uh more than one stabbing in Chili, Gates, Henrietta stores. Roc really is a jaded area.
don't think I've been to the Henrietta one but I do know there's been some stabs in the West side stores in general. And every time we go to the Walmart on Chili Ave we get at least one of these guys. My faves are the ones who say they need money for a bus pass to a battered womens shelter that doesn't exist (Widow Willow Maiden on Main St was the most recent) or shelter if its a dude, but freak out when I pull up the Uber app and offer to get them a lift there and they just ask for cash.
Good point! It's generally not so bad here in ROC. We have generally less humid weather than say San Diego although that only tells part of the story.
While it does get "muggy" a bit, if you look here for example, it looks like, "The muggier period of the year lasts for 3.4 months, from June 6 to September 19, during which time the comfort level is muggy, oppressive, or miserable at least 8% of the time." (their subjective scale combines humidity and temp).
If we look at SD: The muggier period of the year lasts for 3.0 months, from July 5 to October 4, during which time the comfort level is muggy, oppressive, or miserable at least 6% of the time. The muggiest day of the year is August 27, with muggy conditions 23% of the time.
So, our weather is perhaps a touch "worse" than San Diego by the humidity/temp/ calculation, which I find pretty comfortable. Fun fact: Rochester used to be a summer retreat for the wealthier NYC crowd. Don't get me wrong, AC is nice but it's not the south or anything.
If you're going to be out walking, you may want to give geocaching a try. Rochester has a very active geocaching community and any of the parks you go to to walk will be loaded with caches. It makes walking more fun.
That being said, Genesee Valley Park (Rochester), Greece Canal Park (West Greece), Black Creek Park (Chili), Basil Marella Park (Greece), Northampton Park (Brockport), Churchville Park (Churchville) are all nice parks.
I have TW Turbo and am seeing almost consistently 20 down and 2 up right now: http://testmy.net/quickstats/slayerboy
I have my own modem and use a different DNS than TW or Google and really haven't had many problems other than when TW is having actual issues. I think TW is doing some funky stuff for users of their modem and DNS service.
Try using DNS Benchmark to find a decent DNS service and change it in your router's settings and see if that helps.
You could try using ngrok free tier if it's just for personal use, gives you an url that tunnels to localhost. I've used it when demoing sites for clients without having to host it elsewhere, works pretty well.
Here's a usually pretty up to date map showing prices at all the different gas stations. Just plug in Rochester, NY or whatever and zoom in.
http://www.gasbuddy.com/GasPriceMap
Edit: Didn't see OP linked to RochesterGasPrices.com which is also gasbuddy... suppose still a decent site to know about no matter where you are.
Yeah, Tomato is prettier. Tomato is also, on the whole, far more secure than DD-WRT (out of the box, I should say - either one can be configured to be very secure, but that will inevitably take time on your part), not to mention stable. (Source: I've run both on multiple routers for years.) I used to wrestle with DD-WRT way too much - switched to Tomato a few years back and haven't looked back.
Of course, the downside is that Tomato is supported on less devices than DD-WRT; however, if you're shopping with Tomato in mind that become a bit of a non-issue.
In general, the way I describe it to people: go with Tomato unless you need a specific feature offered by DD-WRT that Tomato is lacking. (Which, for I'd say like ~95% of users, is absolutely unlikely.)
Of course if anyone wants to get real hardcore with their home network, one could always just spin up a pfSense box and jam a couple of extra network cards in there. >_>
The saddest day of my going-out life in Rochester was when we decided we couldn't go to Acme anymore because one of my best friends kept running into too many people he met on match.com that didn't go well.
This is the battery I use, with my previous unit I got a few day trips out of it and with this unit I get almost two days: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ME3ZH7C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NBSH8D5N7Z042R3Z6FF0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’m selling my Striker Plus 4 if you’re interested in that model.
>what power of router would I need to utilize the 100mbps?
Theoretically a wireless N router rated N100+ should handle 100Mbps, but that hasn't been my experience and so I'd recommend looking for a dual/tri band wireless N+AC router if you really want to utilize the 100Mbps.
Amazon has a Netgear R6700 AC1750 (N450+AC1300) router for $109.99 - $20 coupon now. It's a decent router for the price and the 5GHz AC1300 band should handle 100Mbps fine.
Theoretically the 2.4GHz N450 band should handle 100Mbps (since it's rated for 450Mbps) but oftentimes devices' 2.4Ghz won't handle it. For example, my iPhone maxes out at 30-40Mbps or so on my router's 2.4Ghz N600 band (Asus AC1900) but I can get my full provisioned 70Mbps speed on my iPhone using the 5GHz AC1300 band. Could just be something funky in my router settings.
If you're a Costco member they have a Linksys AC1900 on sale for $109. Also, I've seen Negear X6 R7900 AC3000 (N450+AC1300x2) tri-band routers on clearance there for $149.
If you can find it at a reasonable price, I recommend the book, “Secret Places of Western New York” It has information only many of these places and a few more. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0840391234/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=outsidechroni-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=0840391234&linkId=4738459f48a60ea539245b0a667c28f3
It's been a couple years since I played at the beach but last I knew the courts at the beach don't have nets. (I think you rent them from the parks department.)
People who play at Hot Shots would play at the beach using their own posts and nets. (One of these sets.)
If you and your friends are willing to spend the money, I'd recommend buying one of those and playing wherever you find enough level ground. I've played countless games on that net and can tell you it's robust.
I just checked, your right prices have gone up.

I can still get 24 cups at $11.89 for 6 cups, works out to about $1.98 per cup...still worth imo.
I could maybe set you up for some if you were interested, I think I might get some anyway.
EDIT: I have a business Amazon Prime.
I use Private Internet Access which I like because you can turn it off and on with an extension inside Chrome.
I just ran a quick test with Spectrum through Private Internet Acess lowest latency VPN available:
PING -38ms
DOWNLOAD 36.78Mbps
UPLOAD 6.25Mbps
My GP blood test numbers were like, holy crap, years back. Vampire levels. These got me back on track. Vit D is super good for you in a number of ways.I don't claim it's a cure-all but it made a legit noticeable difference in my winter quality of life in Rochester. Seriously, not kidding and it changed my life kind of way. If you have night sweats, you'll know after taking them. Best wishes.
Seemed pretty normal to me, mostly highs in the 40s and 50s with a some days sprinkled in on either side of that range:

Do you have any links to the power banks or pads you're using? I'm curious to know more about what is controlling the different heat settings you're referring to.
I have no experience making heated blankets, but I made my own DIY handlebar warmers for under $50 using two of these, some heat shrink, and a variable step-down converter to run them off a 52V e-bike battery. Even though the pads are rated for 12V, they get way too hot at that voltage. I forget exactly what I set the voltage to that last time I was futzing around with it, but I want to say it's in the ballpark of 7V and even then I had to wire in a SPST switch so I can turn them off as needed because they still get uncomfortably hot after being on long enough.
I have these. They're only $16 and come with an extra pair.
I even find that I can control the volume by how firmly I press them into my ear.
EDIT: The Etymotics posted by Gonzo are good too.
Saw this today and was reminded of your post. Wheels and seat look the same... the frame looks different though. Maybe the wheels are Orange it’s hard to tell.
The Cutler Mail Chute factory still stands at 76 Anderson Ave (Near the Village Gate).
I bought one of these last winter since my battery was being weird after sitting for a while. I used it once and drove for a week and have been fine ever since. Plus it has USB connections and can charge phones if necessary. I keep it my trunk and check the charge every few months. Best $60 I've spent in a while actually.

Side note while we're talking about shoveling driveways: I'm short, drive a small SUV, and don't have a garage spot, and this snow broom thing made cleaning off my car in the winter 10,000 times quicker and easier, now I give them as gifts: https://www.amazon.com/Snow-Joe-SJBLZD-Telescoping-Scraper/dp/B008FV5R0Y
I could be wrong. Part of why I noticed more potholes this year obviously has to do with the fact that I worked from home all last winter, vs driving into work some this year. At the same time, I have a hunch the temp fluctuated more this year because we have had to let our dogs out front way more this year than last since our backyard has been muddier than it was last year due to some milder days.
https://www.wunderground.com/calendar/us/ny/rochester/KROC/date/2022-1
I don’t know how reliable that is but assuming it is, January is basically what I was getting at. A couple of freezing days followed by milder 35-40, then back to 20s again. Fairly similar story for Feb. If you check out last year, January in particular, it looked a bit more consistent. Basically all of Jan 21 was in the 30s from the looks of it
As someone in a high risk age demographic, I pretty much have to stay inside all day. I’ve been just trying to keep myself occupied so I don’t go insane. I’ve been baking, doing puzzles, and reading lots of books! Even though the libraries are closed, this website I found has a ton of classic e-books with expired copyrights. I’ve also tried my hand at learning code, but it’s a lot harder than I thought. Aside from that I’ve just tried to stay in contact with people (mostly FaceTiming my kids and grandkids).

>WTF does racism have to do with cars and metro lines?
Transportation is quite literally access. Limiting or deliberately separating areas with transportation changes access.
For example, Robert Moses had bridges built so that buses coming from NY (where black and Hispanic people live) couldn't get to the beaches on Long Island (where white people live).
Of course, it's complicated, as Moses also built public works in Harlem that were emphatically good, and then also bulldozed neighborhoods with black and Hispanic residents to build roads.
You can read more about it here:
https://www.amazon.com/Power-Broker-Robert-Moses-Fall/dp/0394720245
I have this am and fairly happy with it. https://www.amazon.com/CHORTAU-Dashboard-G-Sensor-Recording-Detection/dp/B07Q5R22DV/ref=sr_1_1?crid=P69ZP1840UTT&keywords=dash+cam+front+and+rear&qid=1663075499&refinements=p_36%3A1253505011%2Cp_89%3ACHORTAU&rnid=2528832011&s=e...
The only issue i've had is that after a few months I had to take it inside to charge it on it's USB cable. Even though it's powered by cigarette lighter connection in the car, I think with the car is off it needs to use it's internal batter for things like retaining settings and I guess parking mode. I think I actually turned that off and haven't needed to charge it in the house since.
Minor negatives. The rear video is mirroed, but doesn't really matter.
No its way easier to buy propane. Buy the adapter at amazon, then you can buy propane at the 7/11 and many other places. The adapter screws on to the portable cans of propane and you fill your mags the same way.

Absolutely, DSA is a multi-tendency organization so we do not have a hard line or orthodoxy, and we have self-described social democrats, Marxists, anarchists, etc.
Also, the anti-cpc campaign from the Feminist Collective is creating a coalition that will include non-DSA members. If you rsvp (even if you aren't coming) you can be added to our email list and text alerts. https://airtable.com/shrFyzwOIedVArzuD
You can attend the Tuesday night Soc Fem meetings without being a DSA member as well! But I encourage everyone to join so they can organize on our Slack and help better support all of the anti-capitalist, anti-patriarchial, anti-racist, etc work we do.
Feel free to message me!
That wasn't our demo, but one of them is very active with ROC DSA and all of them are awesome. The Rochester Socialist Feminist Collective has big plans in that vein for the future, rsvp to get on their email list! https://airtable.com/shrFyzwOIedVArzuD
I picked up this frame lock a couple years ago. It's definitely not the only thing I use to lock up my commuter, but if someone does manage to get through the chain, they're going to be able to ride it away.
Not sure if "murica" is as special (good or bad) as we sometimes make it out to be. Yeah there are different cultures/beliefs but oftentimes at the end of the day we are all just people.
A little while ago I read Letters from the Yoga Masters. Great read about Hari Dickman about his discovery of yoga in Poland and how he corresponded (starting in 1930s with a number of teachers from around the world, many in India). What's interesting is that many of those great teachers did believe in their own specific style of yoga and often discouraged their students from "mixing" or "intermingling" schools believing that this would dilute their own path.
I cannot help you find said person but I would like to make a suggestion for a phenomenal face oil I found until you find your beloved product :) When my grandmother had cancel she was worried about the aging that was happening so rapidly and the dry skin from chemo so I went on a search and found https://www.amazon.com/Life-Flo-Maracuja-Moisturizer-Vitamins-Minerals/dp/B00FEHEPGO It goes on oily but absorbs into skin so so fast and makes your skin feel so silky as well as helping with blemishes etc I swear by it people think I am 21 when I am in fact older and my grandmother said that it took 10 years off after chemo so I believe in it. Sucks the price used to be 8 bucks before the pandemic and now it's almost 20 or some sites over 20 but to me it's still worth it and this is WAY better than the ultra filtered scentless one from Tarte which is overpriced and not great it has such an earthy smell. I have also seen it help with hairloss with people putting on their scalp etc......Wow it sounds like I am trying to sell something haha but yeah I just want to share something I find amazing.
You check your levels yourself with a home kit that costs less than $20

If mitigation is needed that's a whole other can of worms.
We used one of these - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074PYH768/ - for most of the pandemic. Had a minor gasket leak after 18 months and they replaced the whole unit under warranty. Was $300ish back then.
I really like the “Woody Plants of the Northern Forests” guide. Especially great for looking at buds in spring. Woody Plants of the Northern Forest: A Photographic Guide (The Northern Forest Atlas Guides) https://www.amazon.com/dp/1501719688/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_K0PXW76X7S3V02HCN7C8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 It’s more of an “at home” book and not so much a field guide, but I’ve taken it out with me on occasion and it’s helped me id many things.
Barnes & Noble has a section with local guidebooks and some field guides for our area, at least the Pittsford one does. I haven’t seen many (or any?) Rochester specific wildlife guides, but you can find some New York specific ones, or Northeast region. New York Trees, New York Birds, Wildflowers of New York. For birds, I prefer my old school Pearson guide, or Sibley’s East guide to the local books I’ve seen. I often get the foldable, easy to carry guides in the “Pocket Naturalist” series to take with me on hikes, though. There are several New York ones. Also often at Barnes & Noble. You can check out their entire collection here: https://www.waterfordpress.com/products/series/pocket-naturalist/ or find them on Amazon. I think they also are at Barnes and Noble, though.
Aaron is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Best hands I have ever experienced in my life. He will find the source of pain and DESTROY IT. You will HURT afterwards but you will notice the long term benefits and want to go back again & again! He can even find pain that you didn’t even know you had. Enjoy!

That's not how it works. The price of goods increases slightly and at a smaller rather than the wage increase. Businesses see massive savings in a substantially smaller turnover in employees and save on hiring and training costs. It ends up that 15 dollar an hour wage only increases costs 4-5 percent. Which is... basically nothing (pennies on most fast food items). And a far less percent than the increase of wages (which is basically double).
It doesn't cancel each other out unless you raise the wages to something absurd like 40 dollars an hour or whatever.
I take them with my lunch because the boost from taking them too late can make it harder to get to sleep. I'm not a doc but from what I've read, your body breaks it down and stores it to use it so the effect isn't immediate and taking it regularly is important. I got this D3 brand which seems good quality. Also got this B Complex which I don't take every day... just on days where I feel particularly crappy or hungover... hah.
I got a physical a few years back and the doc said I had vit D levels like a vampire and taking supplements was pretty noticeable along with improving other things like diet, regular physical activity, some positive human interaction and other little things that add up. I mean, it's not a miracle pill like it changed me into a brand new person. I just really felt fatigued, depressed, slept poorly, etc. and discovered how bad vit D deficiency can be for you when I googled it... like take years off yer life bad. I also found several legit studies that having healthy vit D levels can help reduce severe outcomes with viral infections including Covid so it's helped with pandemic stress along with getting vaxed and taking common sense precautions.
Anyway, I didn't want to take too much to cause other probs so it was worth getting a physical to see where I'm at and help dial in my levels. Hope this helps and good luck.
Get a Migipaws electronic cat toy. Mine have yet to be bored with it, and when they play with it it’s funny to watch.
Migipaws Cat Toys, Interactive automatic Feather Mice 7 Holes Whack-A-Mole, Obsessed Fun for Indoor Cats, USB rechargeable 4pcs Feather Refills https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VHCCP81/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_a_36DNKXG45T1AY1D10PWD
This rug toy answered all my problems with my indoor cat. You can reshape it, hide toys and treats in it, play with them in it, mine uses it as a scratching board and it never gets old because you can keep remodeling the hides and holes in it!
I've never met a cat that didn't go absolutely nuts for one of these, and they're like three bucks lol

Get a snow joe! It’s the length of a broom but with a foam rectangle on one end, so it won’t scratch your car. We keep it by our front door to brush off the cars. So much easier than trying to get the brush out of the trunk when it’s covered in snow!

Do you have stats for that or is it based off feeling? I'll correct myself and say it's the second coolest summer since I've been here, albeit by only one 90 degree day. I wonder what the overall summer average would be if every day was taken into account.
Going off Wunderground's calendar, here's what I counted for 90+ days:
2016: 23 (https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/news/2016/08/31/this-summer-was-one-to-remember/89408616/) 2017: 5 2018: 21 2019: 6

It connects to the finger lakes trail system, so there is much to see if you keep going west. Here is a 10+ mile out and back, but you could go farther: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-york/finger-lakes-trail-to-south-rim-trail?p=-1
Or at least update OpenStreetMap?: https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=43.165%2C-77.620#map=17/43.16500/-77.62000
I got yelled at for trying to ride my bike up pinacle hill. They said it was private property. Was it just bad timing or what?
edit: I was on the road up to hillside children's center before the turnoff to the radio towers. Here. Is there a different way to get up there?
Walk down to the river right at the bottom of the falls.
That's what we are all ready doing... any road built has a life of 30 years until you need to replace them entirely. And with a city like Rochester that get's the most rain and snow in the NATION, you're spending millions for snow removal, road repairs, and emergency personal responding to accidents. This is essentially a rail transit system that's more on par for a city of rochester's size.
Should Rochester and Monroe County spend millions to add a PRT line to every single major road in the city... probably not. But if it was rolled out carefully connecting areas that do face commuter problems, like the U of R and Downtown this would be how you make it of high value to taxpayers and commuters.

Honestly everything outside of big games on steam is so fast that it's hard to ever actually use the full speed.
Service has been excellent, reliable too. My only complaint is the CGNAT is annoying and $10/mo is juuuuuust slightly too much to justify a static IP.
You can do any of the really basic stuff like disable javascript, clear cookies for the site, use private window, a different browser.
I've used this https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome to automate a lot of it.
Please pay for at least some news if you can (especially local news like the D&C, we barely have enough)
Damn, I have to bottomline a concert on Sunday. Otherwise I'd join you.
FYI, there's a weekly bike ride Wednesday nights at Dogtown on Monroe and Oxford starting at 7. We usually leave around 7:20. There's also Critical Mass that meets up at the liberty pole at 6 on the last Friday of the month. I know there's other weekly rides, but I don't know the times and locations.
If you come to the Wednesday ride, you'd be able to find (more) biking partners and someone that can tell you about all the rides that happen in Rochester. Mention reddit and I'll pipe up and get you in touch with the right people.
Check out https://www.facebook.com/groups/rocbikekids/ too.
Not exactly a Rochester or coffee table book. But the Pulitzter winning Blood in the Water: the attica prison uprising of 1971. Is a damn good read and has lots of ties to Rochester

No, it literally is zip locks bought on Amazon and sealed with a hair straightener or iron. They buy the same candy, spray it with distillate then throw it in a package. Literally anyone could have made them with anything. The dosage is wildly inconsistent and buying the same package could be made by entirely different people.
The "I'm out of town, but send me some money" scam is about as ancient as Craigslist itself. CL even gives you some basic tips on how to avoid it:
> Deal locally, face-to-face —follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts.
Well, it seems that Glen Haven Skyport, and Bay View are 2 different things, and Glen Haven is 2 words. On Google Maps just a little north of there, there is a Bay View Road, Bay View Village Drive and Bay View Marina.
Here's the possible location, complete with GPS coordinates.
This newspaper lists someone registering a DBA for a seaplane business as "Glen Haven Skyport." I think that's it.
Google has been completely ineffective in advertising Google Wallet to me. I only know of the product through word-of-mouth.
I certainly see Google Wallet is a useful tool. Sure, Apple Pay on the surface covers the same basic functionality. The key in differing the two (and perhaps ending the "Android has had it for two years" debate) is Apple's purported security around Apple Pay.
According to Apple, Apple Pay uses an NFC secure element to store a device account number, which is then used in conjunction with a random one-time use security code to make a financial transaction.
The end result, they claim, is that merchant never sees any of your credit card numbers or other sensitive account information. Also, Apple Pay (Apple, entirely?) never sees your transaction info.
Does Google Wallet claim to provide this financial transaction isolation and protection to the consumer? Apple supporting this particular protection and privacy feature, along with the possibility of not dealing with paper receipts are the biggest reasons why I would want to use Apple Pay.
There's also Russ Lunn, former adjunct professor @ RIT. He's part of the Shoe Factory Co-op and has worked with a variety of bands, including the Chesterfield Kings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcfluVP9HGM

I'm currently on a WIFI connection and streaming radio on this device. Just did a test with fast.com and got 380 Mbps.
Maybe there's always been drop in speeds here and there, but because we're home and using our internet way more, we're just happening to be finding those weak points more than we normally would?
Check these listings or shoot this guy a PM on Facebook. I got 2 sets of brand new winters for $80/tire. He’s out of Macedon.
They are blemish tires, but I don’t care about the logo being goofed up a bit.

Rochester and environs should put something together for shopping like Visit Buffalo Niagara does.
It's targeted towards Canadian shoppers, but does an excellent job showcasing shopping in trendy city neighborhoods as well as neighboring villages.
