Best way is to purchase the latest installment of COD here
Amazon has good prices and free shipping for qualifying orders over $35 and COD is the place to go if you want a good KD.
When you get tired of that and want to focus on the objective, play Siege.
I mean, 4 seasons is a lot, perhaps you've reached your MMR heaven; if you're enjoying yourself and your matches are for the most part not a shitshow then you're good to go already in my opinion. What's happening to you is literally what the ranked system was designed for.
I never set myself off to try and break my last season's record or anything; I just play the game.
NOW WITH THAT SAID; the game is incredibly complex and there's only one true way to get instantly better and that is to improve your raw aim. This video here will help you HEAPS, just watch it, trust me. And finally, completely shameful plug, I've wrote about this stuff in a book if you're REALLY interested in this sorta thing.
Feeling like your aim greatly improves may be a bit of a placebo effect, but I would agree that drinking coffee before and while I play helps my aim and reaction time a bit. Just be sure that you’re not developing a caffeine dependency, as that can really mess you up.
Hey, 1500+ hours in-game. I've played a thousand hours with a cheap $30 headset from Amazon, both with surround sound on and off. I've also played with Audio Technica M50x's and several other mid-range headphones. Currently I play with a set of semi-open back headphones.
Some tips:
Whether or not you should use surround sound depends on the specific option you're using. My headphone's built-in "surround sound" sucked. Razer Surround software was OK but I didn't like it. I now play with semi-open back headphones with no surround sound.
I've tried all the game's audio settings for long periods of time each, and I honestly don't notice a big difference between them. I personally use Hi-Fi but I've been good with all of them.
You won't be able to soundwhore without having it at high volume. Perceived volume is different for everyone, but in general I have the volume just a little under where I feel it's "too loud". If I had it any higher then a lot of gunfire might hurt my ears. When I watch videos of people playing, I watch with the volume lower and I can't hear the footsteps and sounds they can hear. Loud volume is more important than any setting.
KingGeorge plays with a simple pair of earbuds. It really doesn't matter what you use. It's all preference.
Those are my soundwhoring tips. My current setup is a pair of AKG M220 semi-open back headphones and the Creative SoundBlaster Omni amp. I always play with Windows volume at 50 and in-game master volume at 80. Pretty loud, but it gets the job done and I don't find it uncomfortable unless it's for very long periods of time (5+ hours).
Always have the option to buy a mouse with more button mapping ability. I know a lot of gamers including myself use a mouse like the G502.
Logitech G502 Hero High Performance Gaming Mouse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GBZ4Q68/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_RKN-FbNWBQFPY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It's probably either a case of your CPU or GPU maxing out. What I'd do is download CAM and use its in-game overlay with the GPU and CPU monitoring enabled. It'll basically show a little bit at the top left of the screen that shows your CPU and GPU usage percentages.
That'll help determine if it's either of them.

To be honest it just sounds like hardware limitation tbh. How much FPS do you get in-game?
Microwave sensors are a real thing. The common ones use the Doppler effect to detect changes in frequency when bounced off a moving object. The downside is they only detect moving objects (as far as I know) and can only detect one movement, so not able to track multiple targets. However, Pulses scanner could be an array of many scanners so track with more accuracy and higher target count.
Here’s a pack of 5 microwave motion sensors on amazon for $12. Limited range, but pulse has access to military grade parts. https://www.amazon.ca/RCWL-0516-Detection-Microwave-Detector-Distance/dp/B07MTWZDQZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=microwave+motion+sensor&qid=1589341334&sr=8-2
around 80-100 which is absolutely playable but you will notice a little difference, if you want exact ping get a vpn and connect to the netherlands (where the servers are located) ProtonVPN is a free one that can connect to the netherlands
Edit: forgot to say you should run a speedtest with the vpn to get the ping
I bought this one. It came with a CD but you can also download the software from their website. It was really easy to set up and once you assign the keybinds it stays onboard the hardware so you don't have to run any software in the background.
atm I have no idea what you could try else (Ill get back to you if i find anything)
if you wanna search your self search for "undervolting" for your specific CPU
what you could try hardware wise is:
-get canned air [something like this for example] and try to remove dust from all your vents and stuff
-you could also maybe open your laptop up and re-apply thermal paste (the stuff that transfers heat from the CPU to the cooling system) because the pre-installed stuff sometimes dries out or is just generally shit
DISCLAMER: only do this if you are experienced with PCs-stuff or if your CPU is easy to reach(varies from laptop to laptop)
I just bought the game with the year 1 pass on gmg and I'm a bit confused about the base game operators. There was something about a year ago about all of them being unlocked but For me, only the year 1 operators, that are included in my bundle, are unlocked but I can buy the base ones already, with the currency I got from watching the tutorial vids.
Do the base operators unlock later on or do I have to buy them on their own?
This is the version I bought for reference.

In clash they implemented “trophy gates” which would be the equivalent of locking people into gold if they made it to gold 4. And while yeah being placed in plat if your actually a gold would suck but then id have to ask who you were being carried by for 10 games straight and why you wouldn’t still be playing with them. Like siege is a team based game, you yourself may play like a gold, but you may have awareness and call out ability of a high plat. Altho this is dipping dangerously close to the solo and squad que question that has haunted this game for a while.
It’s ok lol. I don’t own siege on PC but I play some CS:GO the things that’s helped me has been playing some Aim trainer games or a game called OSU. Ik there’s a aim trainer game on steam for I think $10 and OSU is a music/beat game that might help with both aim and reaction time. That and lots of THunt. If your really worried about it make sure you get good sleep and play well rested cause that helps loads. I’ve heard people debate over weather reaction time is changeable or not. I think it is it just takes practice and training. It’s mostly just ability to process quickly and muscle memory so maybe try some brain games to keep your mind sharp too? That’s about all the advice Ik to give
PS: brilliant name btw lol
Edit: OSU is free and available on this website: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download
Here's what worked for me:
Download PH from https://processhacker.sourceforge.io/
Having DC open (and already in the voice channel) use PH to input and save a Real-time state in every DC thread (that's 2 steps, raise the state and then click save - that will tell PH to force that state in thread, if it drops);
Disable in-game DC layer;
Maximize DC and open R6;
Win.
Well, for starters, there are buckles on barricades which are adjacent to head level so you can always know if you're aiming at head level if looking at a barricade (this is also the same for ground floor windows)
But just practice it, try to notice it as often as possible to correct it.
That's what NVidia says, FWIW, https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/shadowplay/:
> ShadowPlay is hardware accelerated, so you can leave it running in the background without worrying about video capture impacting your performance.
I turned my sens up, but not a whole lot. For what it’s worth my settings are
Vertical: 40 Horizontal: 70 Ads: ~25 depending on the magnification
I’ve been on those settings for almost two years now and haven’t changed them.
I use this controller which has the extended thumb stick and paddles on the back. But it’s not wireless
What helped me out a lot was getting a xim, allowing you to use a mouse which greatly improves aim. Many people used to tell me controller is superior, but i found it not to be true.
i got this one, its not expensive: https://www.amazon.de/Tastatur-Adapter-Nintendo-Konverter-LED-Anzeige/dp/B088TK6D18?qsid=262-8972143-3690327&sres=B079SS1CCR%2CB082CTRGFG%2CB08541QCKJ%2CB015KFXENY%2CB01I6P2OFO%2CB088TK6D18%2CB088369Q4G%2CB07B4WDDV4%2CB077GCGC3H%2CB084WY19SW%2...
My mousepad isn't too old and its a SteelSeries qck (link will be at the end). My mouse is also fine, when I ask about just the sensitivity that's what I mean.
I also feel like hardware is an overused reason why people don't perform. As long as the mouse has a good sensor and the mousepad is clean, its not the hardware.
I doubt a software will fix a low quality headset. This headset is works well and it’s like half the price of yours: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014SACIPC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_JP67N2E3RJDZ3AZB8K8G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So all newer androids and ios devices have screen recording built in. Older devices for Android I would recommend an app called AZ Screen Recorder it works great and it's what I used before my phone updated to include screen recording. For iOs I'm not too sure what could be used other than your phone's default screen recording software
This mouse is very good for the price range you're after https://www.amazon.de/Logitech-910-005291-Lightspeed-Wireless-Gaming/dp/B07CGVGMLD/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=g203+lightspeed&qid=1617437044&sr=8-1
Samsung C27HG70, it's a 27" 144hz VA panel
I have very good experiences with Logitech’s line of hardware, can wholeheartedly suggest a search on amazon for “Logitech gaming mouse” they start at £25 and go in increments up to £100+ so you can choose how much to spend, very nice gameplay from them and feel nice quality.
Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009S332TQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Have had these for about 2-3 weeks now. These are probably the best or one of the best for hearing footsteps (open back headsets) and they're about $100 cheaper than the hd 599 or dt 990.
I pretty much bought the 3 suggested items that Amazon recommends, headphones with modmic 5 and the ek10 dac and it's great. Headband is weird but it's been fine for me. Mic sounds great, and the dac is good for me since I can really crank up the volume and power headphones to fullest potential (I leave the dac around 5 I think), but, depending on your mobo, you might not need it for these. These do lack in bass some, hence why so good for footsteps, but the dac has a bass boost switch on the front that I use when listening to music and its sounds great.
I was using a logitech 930 and wanted a wired (had a lot of disconnects when gaming) quality headset specifically for r6. Super happy with these. A lot of the reviews specifically mention fps or even r6 as their usage too.
Don't buy any gaming headset, buy the philips shp9500 and a mod mic for the same exact price, and get something that isn't trash. Not to discount any gaming headset, but they are very gimmicky for what they are. A good set of real headphones starts around ~60-70 and the shp9500 is a great option within that range, then you simply pic up some sort of mod mic off of amazon and you got yourself a really solid experience for the same price, that won't fall apart within a year, and don't have gimmicky features like "7.1" when in reality they are more likely to give you false information in the first place.
I use this App:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamerguide.android.r6tab
I use Android Not Sure if Its available on ios. The r6 Homepage Haß a Feature where you can plan strats on it has the exact same blueprints if I am correct.
I tried lean on my mouse 4 & 5 when I first moved to PC, and for me ya it affected my aim, no matter how well your mouse shape fits your hand you still have to adjust your grip to aim mid fight which I’m sure definitely affects your aim a little bit, this my not be the solution your looking for but I use one of these now and map lean to left and right D pad and it greatly improved my movement, quick peeking ect

https://www.amazon.com/12-Classics-Iridium-Fidelity-Earphones/dp/B071JDVMJP?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_marketplace#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div in the us it costs even less. I'll go search for something better if you want.
I pretty much hate queuing up with people like you, and it honestly ruins my experience.
Get a fucking mic. Don't join a team based game if you can't communicate. It is incredibly selfish to put that burden on your 4 other teammates. If this is quick play/casual, no one cares if you have a mic. If it's ranked, don't even bother if you don't have a mic and decent internet.
Cheap $50 mic from amazon, good brand and decent reviews. Better than no mic.

I think, not for sure though (I thing that I have 120hz), I went from playing on Geforce Now on a Mac to playing on a beefy computer
Viewsonic makes nice, affordable monitors.
You'll probably be happy with it.
You have the option of going for the XG2702 too, which is exactly the same as the XG2402, but 27" inches and about $50 more. 27" is pretty large though, so you have to make sure you have the desk space for it.
I personally use a razer deathadder chroma but IMO its personal preference (razer fanboy). My good friend uses this mouse and thinks its really good. this is one of the best and lightest mouse on the market. Sadly its almost always sold out so going for that mouse could take a few months. Hope this helped.
Awesome thank you! I'm going to be getting this mousepad (17.72 W x 15.75 H) is that big enough? Also, I don't think the link you added works properly. Would love to read that post.
Thanks again!
Mate if you're going for a great budget option, these are fantastic - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Superlux-HD668B-Headphones-Black/dp/B003JOETX8
Insane cans for the price, I've had mine for over a year and they're fantastic, can't fault them.
I don’t know if this specific model will fit your desk, but Corsair ranges in quite a few sizes.

"Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake" - Sun Tzu's The Art of War
Usually it's best to shoot on sight but in the rare cases of let's say, 3 enemies are pushing the objective and you're on the flank and they don't see you, it could be beneficial to either - 1. Ambush them on sight and get a pick or two, or 2. Wait a few moments and then engage once they're pushed deeper into the objective.
Hey guys, quick tech question. Would you think that this Aspire E laptop would be able to run rainbow 6 on lowest settings? It has a 940MX graphic card
Thanks!
I'm on PC my mouse has two DPI settings 1000/2000 been playing around with that a little but haven't messed with the in game sensitivity and FOV much. I probably should.
