TLDR: The best/most noteworthy maps of a month are picked and put into a ranking. The more points you gather in these maps, the high your ranking is in the ranking charts: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/chart
Toy is basically farming supporter as the top scorer is rewarded by 1 month supp
its ok its only malware just install it anyways
(real talk make sure you are getting your osu from here https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download and if you are its most likely a false positive, though peppy did burn down a church while filming so he is probably capable of this too, you never know)
Play osu! with mouse and Hidden mod and you'll learn to track well without thinking too much about it.
There is one hotkey that will be useful for your situation: target champions only (something like that). Look for it and set it to a convenient key. It prevents you from targeting (autos & abilities) anything that's not a champion. I play locked so I personally have it set to space bar and use it almost every trade/fight to avoid casting on a minion as you describe.
Fun fact! September 2021 also marks 4 years of Project Loved! The first ever iteration of Project Loved (formerly Loved: Captain's Pick) was started in September of 2017! https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2017-09-25-introducing-the-loved-captains-pick
Thank you everyone for helping us keep this going for 4 years, here's to many more. 🥂
The news post states that participants must "[not have] violated the osu! community rules in the past 12 months". You can be certain that this is going to be thoroughly checked before allowing someone to play, or this rule would make no sense. If you got silenced or restricted recently and you were applying to play for the world cup, it means you've broken the rules in the past 12 months and you received a punishment for it. It's that simple.
Here's a link to the post: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2018-07-25-MWC4K-2018-registrations-open
Of course none of the people affected are going to find a "proper reason" for it. Nobody wants to admit they broke the rules and tried to hide it. They're just lying - they know why they were restricted/silenced but they won't tell you because they care about their image. Maybe they even think that they can stir up drama to force staff to give them what they know they don't deserve.
Honestly, these tryhard attempts at drama are getting tiring. There's always some big lash about it every year for every tournament, where players pretend they didn't do anything and peppy has to personally intervene and shut them up. Almost every time it turns out that the people instigating drama were lying (with a few exceptions where mistakes are made, which would have been cleared if the person even bothered contacting support).
It's the same for you. Either you know what you've done, and you're trying to cause an uproar hoping that the community voice will allow you to get away with what you did, or you're actually confused and you should contact support (which they expect you to, by the way) to clear things up. In both cases, posting on reddit is not the way to go. You're just making things worse for absolutely everyone.
8.56 actually (didn't expect to find this in comments section lol)

And it's probably still 8 star in fallback client

Hello /r/all, this post is a screenshot of the results screen of a very awesome score in the free online rhythm game osu!. The title means:
WhiteCat - the player in question.
BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance [Rebellion] - the song, and difficulty played.
+HR - the game modifiers used in this play. HR (Hard Rock) makes the approach circles faster, inverts the map vertically, minimizes the perfect hit range and makes the circles smaller for a more difficult experience.
99.70% - the play's accuracy. Note that this is the one and only FC with hardrock, but at this time I'm writing this only 3 people have higher accuracy FC's with no game modifiers.
FC - rhythm game lingo for "full combo".
959pp - the score's rating by the game's performance points system. This is 12 points higher than the second rated score.
Here's a video of the play - uploaded by WhiteCat himself
There looks to be some weird delay in that video. Random google result that looks more like what I remember from playing. (I was a super casual player for not very long, and not near whatever difficulty they're playing on.) Osu! is free fwiw, you can try it out yourself.
It's a combination of memorization and reflexes, like most rhythm games. DDR, Beat Saber, etc.
There's this game called osu!, where people click circles to the beat. It's free to play and has a incredibly high skill ceiling, which drew a lot of people to play it for years. You can download it here: https://osu.ppy.sh/home
...and here is a website for bounties: https://www.osustuff.org/bounties/ not much compared to the 4k, but it's something, right?
It happened earlier in February, You can read about it here.
Basically, recalculated pp for different angled jumps, buffed pp for fast streams, nerfed pp for spaced streams, accuracy = big pp, more pp for flashlight mod on longer maps, and probably more i missed
I used to play a rhythm game called osu! and I found a beatmap for Chase Me during summer 2017 and really liked the song, so I found more Dreamcatcher maps which eventually lead to looking up their YouTube channel for all their music and been a fan ever since.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy - It just holds a special place in my heart ever since i watched it when i was kid. Reading the books for the first time recently made me appreciate Tolkiens works even more. Not much of an animated movie watcher but if i had to choose it'll probably be Spirited Away or WALL·E.
Through osu!. For people that don't know osu!, it's a free to play rythm game where anyone can upload any song to create a "beatmap" for others to play. Over the years I came across a few kpop songs that way but nothing really stuck with me. At the time I didn't know anything about the genre. That changed when I played a beatmap of 24k - Superfly in May 2017. I just loved how unapologetic hard it went for a pop song. Looked it up on YouTube and I was so impressed with the choreo, which made me want to check out their other releases as well. After that the algorithm did its job. By the end of the year there was no going back for me lol.
I am content with how my favorite groups currently are, so I have no clue. Collaborations on the other hand...maybe interesting for a future question.
I assume hitlocking is the same as notelocking
This was most likely caused by the sliderbug fix
This can be seen on Ceptin's "fake pass" on Count down 321, at 2:16, he notelocks and misses the entire pattern, but in the old stable build, he only missed a few times, the end result is 53xmiss vs the 27xmiss the scores shows
Every time a fanart contest ends and game gets a new set of seasonal backgrounds, an announcement appears on osu.ppy.sh about it with links to every BG that got into game. Here's the latest one: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-08-23-summer-tf-fanart-contest-results
Guessing you'll make your wallpaper a slideshow or something of these BGs, I highly recommend digging up older seasonal BGs for some variety.
pretty sure gifts are always anonymous (cause I've only seen screenshots of received emails where it says "the gifter has chosen to remain anonymous")
as for the duration - https://osu.ppy.sh/home/support
As a small Miku fan, I completely agree. That's a shit game, the concerts are too expensive and not worth it, there are better things to spend your money on like osu!, the superior rythm game.
I mean, we had monthly highlights but they changed to seasonal ones. Note the first two links (line 4) https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-10-05-beatmap-spotlights-summer-2019
I really suggest you take a look at r/MouseReview they will help you greatly. Buy aim hero/ KovaaK's FPS Aim Trainer on Steam or if you like music/rhythm games download osu! it's free these games will help you with mouse control and getting comfortable using your mouse. Some other aim training stuff would be aimbooster or donttap make sure you play on challenge/ fast aim mode on aimbooster and endurance on donttap
Are you actually having problems? Do you actually want help?
I'll drop this regardless;
>Please try logging out of the game, then logging out of the website, using the new design accessible here https://osu.ppy.sh/home

Very small difference. Normal (new) is calculated a little different and will values sections outside of the hardest a little more boosting maps with more consistent difficulty I believe (and punishing other maps a little) . Realistically idk why they even bothered to make such a small change but it is how it is.
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-07-27-performance-points-star-rating-updates information is here if you want to read more.

>osu! will now do its best to show the more up-to-date star rating by retrieving the value from the web. This is because osu!(stable) is unable to perform the newer star rating calculations locally.
Note that this only applies to display of the current beatmap. Filtering is not supported.
Open the song folder and the background file should be in there. If you're talking about the seasonal bgs, they can be found here
Skins usually have different menu backgrounds that can be changed in files. The file is menu-background (.jpg and .png I think?) but if you want to see the background you need osu!supporter (the link should do a good job explaining what it is).
link for the lazy: https://osu.ppy.sh/home
looks like a rhythm game
I'm not sure if it's free to play, though.
If you want an FPS lock by default, then I'd preferably see it tied to actual refresh rate of my monitor. Especially if somebody is running at 144Hz or more it's seems that 120 fps lock would be pretty inadequate.
When it comes to things like this I see Osu! as the golden standard. But it's an extremely quick paced rhythm game, so it does have quite different expectations in this regard. The main neat idea it uses is that by default it puts a rendering rate limit at double of actual refresh rate.
Osu! is a free musical rhythm game on the pc. It's like Elite Beat Agents that was on the DS. If you are into rhythm games you will probably enjoy it.
The later stages are literally impossible with a mouse. Thats why this guy is using his stylus setup. It's more fun with a touch screen in my opinion.
Interesting, it is as you said, looks like the maps have changed (so I guess it was a server-side change that wasn't announced yet? I tried looking in github for any changes, but couldn't find anything)
edit: it's in today's stable changelog - https://osu.ppy.sh/home/changelog/stable40/20191023.4
As you say, pp take into account time between object. However due to shitty pp code 101 there is a cap on how low time between object considered into pp calculation. It used to be 300bpm 1/4(50ms) and then got lowered to 330bpm 1/4(45.45ms) recently but the cap is still there. You can see on [this sr change post](http://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points) that the graph stop going up after 330bpm. tbh i dont know why they did it. Maybe pp spike after 330bpm is too big and and they worry about double tap abuse, idk. but its there nonetheless.
Here's the changelog for the change: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/changelog/web/2019.524.0
Add scheduled task to rank beatmapsets in queue (osu-web#4489)
The current limit is set at 8 mapsets/day (per gamemode), and there's also a limit so a max of 2 mapsets can get ranked in a 20min interval
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points
There were some big pp changes recently and a hidden re-balance earlier.
I mean it seems like an obvious choice but have you play Osu! ?
It has multiple gamemodes that might be similar to what you mentioned. There are also maps that go over an hour so youre gonna need some dexterity for sure.
I had some free time, so I turned Sunako's entry into an animated wallpaper. Feedback is welcome!

> The winning map will be made available as an Aspire-class Approval map in the coming days, whilst the two runners-up will be entered into the Loved category whenever possible.
Not according to this.
for a legitimate answer;
from the pp changes that happened a while ago: https://i.imgur.com/mHzzHr6.png
as you can see from the graph, they severed the star rating of maps that are either extremely aim or speed heavy, while buffing balanced maps.
isogu has an almost 7:93 balance factor of aim/speed pp, rivaling fierys harumachi clover which has a 83:17 aim/speed pp balance.
Both of these maps suffer extreme nerfs due to this fact.
It's a 2D game where you click on circles to the rhythm of a song
Nothing more than that, but it is really fun.
Just pick your favourite song and click on circles for a few minutes. Doesn't sound very fun but oh boy is it addictive.
It's free so feel free to give it a try HERE
It seems really easy at first, but you'll realise you can barely hit a stationary circle
Then you'll be playing six months later and spasming around with your mouse
You can download and install songs from the Osu website, it's very easy and probably one of greatest advantages of Osu.
The standard mode is pretty fun, if you ever played Ouendan or EBA you'll know what it's like.
Sounds quite familiar to the Spotlight Ranked sessions they did, awarding users with a profile badge depending on how well they did on the mappool compared to other users, the only "issue" with it, was that you had to play it on osu!lazer, not stable
Here is the last one that they did, which was Season 4 in summer of 2021 (You can see previews of the badges if you scroll down)
It's not happened since Summer 2021, but by the looks of things on the osu!dev discord, its going to re-appear for Spring 2022.
I know its not much compared to maid bot, or technically even matchmaking, but be assured that there are some staff members / volunteers working on an alternative ranking system
>If you are using these releases as your PC will not run stable, please contact us at so we can attempt to solve compatibility issues before this happens. by peppy Taken from https://osu.ppy.sh/home/changelog/stable/20160403.6
MillhioreF was made a Featured Artist April 1st 2020 and their map Waltz o' the Irish was made Loved. It was later "Unloved" because there were too many users naively using macros to FC the 900bpm+ stream and as a result would get restricted for cheating. The map was essentially unintentional bait getting naïve players unnecessarily banned.
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-10-27-halloween-2021-fanart-results
> This one really wins points for the whole Halloween theme! So much so in fact, that we've had to make the very sad decision to omit it from the main-menu display for fear of jumpscaring our younger audience half to death every time they open the game. Still, a stunning entry (quite literally), well done!
Farming is a term made up by the community that basically means playing with a specific goal in mind. Usually this is gaining pp but it could be pretty much anything.
The other 3 are mod abbreviations (HD = hidden, FL = flashlight, HR = hard rock).
All of these terms can be found by using the search thingy on the official website and filtering for wiki results, e.g. https://osu.ppy.sh/home/search?mode=wiki_page&query=hr
Oh I see, I play with keyboard and mouse in pc, so the options must be clicked with the cursor, the gameplay its fast, but slows down the process of claiming the expeditions lol
I will gonna try play with gamepad for just interacting the menues more faster xd
>never played osu but I have been intrigued to!
PD: the game "osu!" its the original of what was based the event of the lyre and the floral zither, a free rythm game what implies clicking notes with the cursor (mouse or tablet), its very exigent with timming, clicking half of a second late its A LOT practically breaking your combo and cutting in half your score
check out the newspost for specific details, there was a lot change so can't really pinpoint it to one thing specifically. it's mentioned that ranks will fluctuate for the next few days so take your current rank with a grain of salt
>It wasn't considering localisation settings when decoding the number.
It has now been fixed.

I don't know what verification is for, and I've never tried it but you can change email in your account settings on the website (it only asks for your password and new email, so maybe you won't need your old email). Good luck with your account!
Actually, the dates are typically announced around the start of every year.
You can find the dates here: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-01-04-osu!taiko-world-cup-2021-staff-and-mapper-applications
Incidentally, registrations open in... about 2 minutes lol.
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-07-27-performance-points-star-rating-updates osu is not broken lmao i was kinda expecting to lose some ranks
Full explanation of the rollout - https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-07-27-performance-points-star-rating-updates
Basic summary though
Starting at some point today, starting from Rank 1 and working its way down the rankings. Will recalculate your total pp (if you have over 1000pp) and most of the plays on your top plays list. May not properly order them on the website, but your pp total will be correct. Will take ~2 days.
Then a second pass to sort your plays correctly.
Then a third pass to recalculate all of the scores that were not originally done. May take a week+. Will not affect your total pp, only the scores displayed on the website
if you read the post it says it will start tomorrow and will take about 2 days to recalculate most users
the star rating change happened today on site

You're making a lot of bold claims but don't have much evidence to back it up, so here's a chance to prove it. Here's the game download, here's the map download.
If you can pass it using the half speed mod, I'll be coloured impressed.
+1 deathmatch is good practice for pvp.
Also unrelated to dayz but just a tip, I found my pvp improved a lot when I actively worked on improving my reaction times and aim using simpler games. Osu is a great option for this! Osu give it a chance, it’ll pay off. Developing muscle memory is the best way to improve reaction times because our subconscious always acts faster than our conscious mind! Enjoy.
It's on PC, but if she wants a game much closer to elite beat agents, check out "Osu!". It's essentially a fan-made successor to that style of game. Low requirements, will run on anything essentially, lots of fan-made maps for tons of songs, also free. https://osu.ppy.sh/home
Not a glitch, there were changes to the pp system. you can read here https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-01-14-performance-points-updates
Directly from https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-01-14-performance-points-updates
"Speed value is now scaled with the number of 50s made in a score in order to penalize doubletapping."
That makes it seem like they intended this to be a fix for doubletapping, which is notorious in hidamari.
If they never intended to fix hidamari, why did they add a penalty for 50s then?
Ok that's weird, I could've sworn there used to be a web registration option as well. I wonder if they've changed it.
In any case, on this page https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download there's a link to contact support, that's probably your best bet if you've done the normal options of rebooting your computer and uninstalling/reinstalling the game. That's definitely one of the strangest bugs I've heard of though.
It should be a relatively simple fix for them to do, they may just end up creating your account for you with a temporary password and have you reset the password afterwards, or something like that. In the meantime, you can still play the game and get familiar with it without being signed up
What about turn-based JRPGs? The vast majority of them give you all of the time in the world to make your choices.
Outside of JRPGs, I’d also suggest Osu! as the core game is all about clicking circles in the rhythm.
Not game related, but have you looked into getting an MMO mouse as well? That’ll give you a lot more controls on the mouse itself.

Pa ti, pa tu kuerpo
osu! is a sort-of niche rhythm game community but it's slowly getting bigger, I rarely play it nowadays but currently the news is about the creator taking action for what people do in game, rather than just encouraging people to report anything strange of authorities, this includes harassment, paedophilia, stuff like that, before he would just say report it to the police, but now he offers to filter the staff team to hopefully avoid this happening.
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2020-11-19-better-protecting-players-from-abuse - Details here.
Did you delete all of the files located at: C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\osu! before downloading and installing osu from this site: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download?
Someone also mentioned using the old installer: https://m1.ppy.sh/release/osu!install.exe (direct download)
You need supporter to make this work.
If you do have supporter, here are the steps:
- Make an image, name it menu-background.jpg
- Refresh the skin using CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+S.
- Turn off seasonal backgrounds.
And you're done! Again, you need supporter to make this work. Hope this helps!
INFO
As peppy says in this page: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/support
> osu! is free-to-win – supporting osu! won’t give you any competitive advantage (but it might make you cooler amongst your friends!).
So making ranking process locked behind limits a part of the game that peppy wants everyone to have access to.
All these images are from the summer theme park fan art contest, and there’s this link to download all images of the winners at the very bottom of the official contest page
I usually listen to that kind of music (lofi) and read through the comments or I play this game called 'osu!' because it's a singleplayer game and it helps me forget about what I was thinking about.
I don't really try to talk to other people when I feel lonely simply because during these moments I feel like no one else is on the same wavelength as me so I find more comfort in the music's comment section or in the game
If it bothers you a lot you could give a few mouse accuracy games a go. For example you could play some of the rhythm games e.g. https://osu.ppy.sh/home but I'm sure there is more games that will help you practice that are not in that genre.
Restart your computer.
If that doesn't fix it, please look in the logs folder for an update.log Please also make sure you have downloaded the latest installer from https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download

Yup, star rating system changed in 2019
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points
> The thread is “worst map.” I think saying a map is the worst map when there are tons of very bad maps to choose from is not just “this is a map that isn’t in my style.
I mean the choice is based off personal experience; there will be maps that I haven’t played at all and Anoneanone and Padoru were the maps that came to mind for me that I had a miserable time playing.
I haven’t played the Gift difficulty at all (I pretty much left the mapsets after playing the Insane diffs, Lasse, Frontier, Milan and the Hi-Speed diffs) and have only seen other people play it, so I can’t give my input on the gameplay side of it. But to me, it just looks like another Sotarks map with a god awful track.
I haven’t seen Shapes except from the 3 mod from Parkes and a HDHR FC so I can’t comment on that either.
> It makes me sad for the state of the player base when very generic maps get more respect than slightly weird maps that actually represent the song in a cool and unique way.
It is quite a shame, but those maps are a lot more accessible to players than maps that have less conventional mapping concepts, so it makes sense that they would receive more respect. Even so, some maps that are considered to be less conventional do get their spotlight; For example Kan Saete Kuyashiiwa, Hacigatsu and the a_hisa compilation got top 10 in the 2019 community choice awards and Bassdrop Freaks, Exit This Earth’s Atomosphere and Future Candy appearing in top 10 in the 2018 one with Pop Stars winning it entirely, as well as almost universal praise from maps such as Impulse and the Feryquitous Songs Compilation. Even though they’re a lot less popular by the community, some do get appreciated a bunch.
I don’t really have much else to say. If I didn’t mention any other points it means I agree with them.
The Gpro in general was recommended to me by a friend. Then I kept seeing it on streams noticing some of the pro FPS players using them. I decided to try out the headset. It is by far the most well put together headset I've ever had (Not an audiophile). Before I had the G35.
After that I probably just became a fanboy. I will try the mouse out at some point, though I can't really afford to be buying random parts atm so it's gonna be a while. Biggest issue I do have with current G502 is the cord is hard to handle like I said, especially with a certain game I like to play. Maybe I just want to try something new that I know will probably be good.
osu! is a free popular rhythm game for PC. You click circles to the beat of any song that has been mapped by the players themselves. You can get it at https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download . This guy is a 6 digit and therefore average at the game.
Osu! is a musical game that is usually played with a digital drawing tablet alongside a keyboard, and is an amazing precision tempo game. Very tense, requires literal perfection if you intend on actually getting high rankings, but the rush you get from getting a new personal best is exhilarating.
Well, you could look for affected release and notice (link), that under this specific feature there is a note saying:
"Consider this an experimental change which we will be building on going forward."
But I guess almost nobody did that and jumped to conclusion, that this is what will be in official release of lazer. Not gonna blame them tho, I had to dig it myself.
Try downloading the latest installer from https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download and run the installer over your current install of osu!
DO NOT UNINSTALL, THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR SHIT.
Just run the installer on top of your current install.
If you are using a non-display pen tablet on a PC then an alternative (and fun) way to get used to it would be to play osu!:
Remember to only use shoulder movements only rather than only wrist/elbow movement. There's a really wide range of difficulty levels from very easy to insanely hard.
And the music is great too. :-)
About two weeks ago they made it so you can only download beatmaps/replays directly from the osu website, so you'll have to do it manually.
^There's ^probably ^something ^out ^there ^that ^pretends ^to ^be ^downloading ^from ^the ^site ^but ^I ^imagine ^they'd ^notice ^the ^unusually ^high ^traffic ^again

The description of those changes can be found here: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points (there's links there to the github pull requests).
If you want to see the version before the changes you can check the history of the files that were changed and look for the ones before those changes/commits. If I didn't misread, this version should be fine: https://github.com/ppy/osu/tree/831cd3ed596bb96a40cf09223cabf152d671e9ae/osu.Game.Rulesets.Osu/Difficulty
> How or why did you get into Dreamcatcher?
I used to play a rhythm game called osu! and I found a beatmap for Chase Me during summer 2017 and really liked the song, so I found more Dreamcatcher maps which eventually lead to looking up their YouTube channel for all their music and been a fan ever since.

> And what is one of your favorite pieces of miscellaneous Dreamcatcher media (excluding official MV’s and songs)?
I about fell out of my chair when I watched 2002 for the first time. Yoohyeon is my Dreamcatcher bias, and that was a great day for Yoohyeon stans.

PS: We need more Dreamcatcher maps in Beat Saber, if anyone around here maps for it.
It’s ok lol. I don’t own siege on PC but I play some CS:GO the things that’s helped me has been playing some Aim trainer games or a game called OSU. Ik there’s a aim trainer game on steam for I think $10 and OSU is a music/beat game that might help with both aim and reaction time. That and lots of THunt. If your really worried about it make sure you get good sleep and play well rested cause that helps loads. I’ve heard people debate over weather reaction time is changeable or not. I think it is it just takes practice and training. It’s mostly just ability to process quickly and muscle memory so maybe try some brain games to keep your mind sharp too? That’s about all the advice Ik to give
PS: brilliant name btw lol
Edit: OSU is free and available on this website: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download
Hello /r/all, this post is a screenshot of the results screen for an incredibly difficult score in the free online rhythm game osu!. The title means:
-GN - the player in question.
** Halozy - Kikoku Doukoku Jigokuraku [Notch Hell] ** - the song, and difficulty played.
+FL - the two game modifier used in this play. FL (Flashlight) is a mod that blocks any area except a small radius near the player's cursor from being seen.
Keep in mind that this map uses uncommon fast sliders that are even difficult to track while seen fully, and he basically tracks these sliders without being able to seeing its shape.
98.41 - the play's accuracy.
FC - rhythm game lingo for "full combo".
26 Sliderends Dropped - Sliderend drops happen when the player does move away his cursor before the sliderend is added the combo.
290pp - the score's rating by the game's performance points system. Hard to track slider aren't rewarded heavily in the game, but
This is going to sound a LITTLE silly once you google it and see what it's all about, but a recommendation I'll always stand by for people wanting to improve their skill with a mouse is to download osu! and a few songs you like and give it a try.
Works great for giving you experience with tracking and twitch reactions, but I would say your enjoyment depends heavily on whether or not you care about feeling like a weeb or not.
Its a beat map game. If you don't understand just look up your favourite song as an OSU beat map, it has to exist.
Here, this is the Tokyo ghoul opening. https://youtu.be/-aCyCpWjEEk
Obviously that's hard, so if you're looking to practice I wouldn't start there, but I'm sure you could see how a game like this could help with your in game tracking.
hope you find this useful! as this is the final piece of chat integration, we will be turning off the old forum PM system in the near future (there will be archiving and/or migration for existing messages, don't worry!)
full details of new features: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/changelog/cuttingedge/20191128.1
well, this is the website of the game (btw it's free): https://osu.ppy.sh/home
And yes, there are other ways of playing it, there's 4 gamemodes. one of which is this one, and another of which is pretty much just DDR.
If you pick up the game, I recommend you search for songs/artists you like so you don't get overwhelmed with anime songs
I just realized why this interpretation of copyright law wasn't sitting well with me for all this time. I used to play a free online rhythm game called 'Osu!'. It's a community run game in that people are expected to find songs that they like and create beatmaps for them. Not once has an Osu! mapper ever been sued for using a song they didn't have a license for. I can't even recall a song ever once being taken down. And these are always some of the highest quality audio files being used. In fact, the audio files are unencrypted, sitting in the /c: drive just free to take once you download the map.
What reason is there that Osu! is able to freely use copyrighted audio files uploaded in an unfiltered manner from its community members, but this karaoke game can't?
Are you sure? I remember logging in 3 weeks back. Haven't checked recently but the new site is showing that 31 people are online in this client. Make sure it is Fallback build (it will be written on the bottom, something along the lines of "You're on Fallback build, click here to switch to stable-latest).
Thats exactly how it work. High BPM stream graph on (this)[https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points] pp change post show it clearly, as the graph shown stop going up after 330bpm
If you like that then there's a free version on PC called osu! that uses the mouse to "tap" rather than a touch screen and stylus. Similar to stepmania and DDR in that you can load any song that has an associated beatmap, and if it doesn't have one, you can create them yourself
If you checked the osu website, the new summer fanart got released, and the post is here
With it was a note at the end about a tribute art that snowyani2000 had drawn. The direct download link to download all cover arts (including the kyoani one) is here but you can just use this link instead
