TLDR: The best/most noteworthy maps of a month are picked and put into a ranking. The more points you gather in these maps, the high your ranking is in the ranking charts: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/chart

For the unaware, this is fgksky’s setup. If you’re wondering about the mouse, he’s using the top tier $10 Dell MS111 on a pillow.
He’s also able to readjust his mouse rather quickly wtf
Edit: words
its ok its only malware just install it anyways
(real talk make sure you are getting your osu from here https://osu.ppy.sh/home/download and if you are its most likely a false positive, though peppy did burn down a church while filming so he is probably capable of this too, you never know)

thx
you've found one of the first rare primitive mapping tutorial scrolls for osu 👍. keep it long enough and it could be worth 1 month of osu supporter 😲😲😲
I made a post about this guy on /r/osureport for his SS midnight siege play because it was very blatant (to me), a relax hack. The hit error was just inhuman, and a lot of people agreed with me, but nothing was done. Now this shit, whether it was done to "quit", or he is actually going to try to say he is legit, just proves what a cunt he is.
https://www.reddit.com/r/osureport/comments/45pj5z/hatsune_reimu_relax_hacking/
Look at him defending himself, worst part is he was even getting upvotes for his defences... Now there is no doubt he is probably even more than relax hacking.. I really hope he is banned.
also ah man the skill difference

how fast he goes from shit to 500pp plays.
Fun fact! September 2021 also marks 4 years of Project Loved! The first ever iteration of Project Loved (formerly Loved: Captain's Pick) was started in September of 2017! https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2017-09-25-introducing-the-loved-captains-pick
Thank you everyone for helping us keep this going for 4 years, here's to many more. 🥂
I'm not the most educated on the subject, but I came across the same problem and do have a solution.
It's not "forever," per se, but does seem to remove most of my noticeable input lag.
1) Download Process Explorer.
2) Open osu!
3) Run ProcExp as administrator.
4) Find "explorer.exe" on the list. Right click and hit "Kill process."
5) Find "winlogon.exe" on the list. Right click and hit "Suspend."
6) Under "winlogon.exe" should be "dwm.exe." Right click and hit "Kill process."
You should be free from the binds of Windows 8.
Note that you have to do this process every time you wish to play osu!, unfortunately.
After doing these steps, you will be unable to access the Start Menu, File Explorer, and other minute processes related to Windows.
To revive Windows 8, simply hit "File" on Process Explorer (hopefully you haven't closed it, or you'll have to restart), click "run," and type "explorer.exe." Hit "Ok," and your File Explorer will be necromanced.
Right click on the suspended "winlogon.exe." and hit "Resume" to revive the Windows 8. dwm.exe should reappear when you do this.
If anyone has a better solution, please share ;_;
But it's okay to shit on every map you don't like when you have zero fucking map experience? You're seriously the definition of someone who talks about things they have no clue about, no wonder you get so offended by it.
Actually, you saying "ok im done" at the end of your post says enough about you.
The news post states that participants must "[not have] violated the osu! community rules in the past 12 months". You can be certain that this is going to be thoroughly checked before allowing someone to play, or this rule would make no sense. If you got silenced or restricted recently and you were applying to play for the world cup, it means you've broken the rules in the past 12 months and you received a punishment for it. It's that simple.
Here's a link to the post: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2018-07-25-MWC4K-2018-registrations-open
Of course none of the people affected are going to find a "proper reason" for it. Nobody wants to admit they broke the rules and tried to hide it. They're just lying - they know why they were restricted/silenced but they won't tell you because they care about their image. Maybe they even think that they can stir up drama to force staff to give them what they know they don't deserve.
Honestly, these tryhard attempts at drama are getting tiring. There's always some big lash about it every year for every tournament, where players pretend they didn't do anything and peppy has to personally intervene and shut them up. Almost every time it turns out that the people instigating drama were lying (with a few exceptions where mistakes are made, which would have been cleared if the person even bothered contacting support).
It's the same for you. Either you know what you've done, and you're trying to cause an uproar hoping that the community voice will allow you to get away with what you did, or you're actually confused and you should contact support (which they expect you to, by the way) to clear things up. In both cases, posting on reddit is not the way to go. You're just making things worse for absolutely everyone.
If I were a teacher for the Adobe class, I'd certainly appreciate the creativity (or rather, the in-jokes with all of this). I'd rather like applying a goofy yet effective example that can get you to stick with the information learned than more boilerplate, boring stuff, honestly.
That being said, if you wanted some feedback~
You can actually align those text layers using Photoshop's Layers -> Align tools, or in InDesign, using the Align tools and adjusting the top-portion as necessary in the position settings.
That green against black might have a difficult time if you're printing, especially if printing uses CMYK colors. The green could end up way darker outside. You'd often want to stick with high-contrasting colors. Also, if you were printing this, the ideal quality should be 300ppi. For InDesign or Illustrator, there's no worries for that except for the static images needing to be pretty huge.
I honestly think that, while it's good that it's only two different fonts, you should have one font act as the main heading, and one act as minor subtitles. So that way, "Lifemarr" would be using the main heading, and nearly everything else could be using the sub-font. (Phone, E-mail, Website could work as a heading font too). For business cards, fonts also mean a lot too. But as it's a school assignment, it's not like it matters hugely. Google Fonts offer some really good fonts that are open-source and downloadable, so you could look at those too.
Good memes though :p
8.56 actually (didn't expect to find this in comments section lol)

And it's probably still 8 star in fallback client
Icicle here. Everything I until now was incorrect. The actual source for the onii-chan's is a CD from 2006 containing multiple tracks of girls pronouncing "Onii-chan", literally called "おにいちゃんCD" (Onii-chan CD). Here is an amazon link
Also here are all the tracks on the CD: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Oniichan_CD
The one in the beatmap is Track02

I mean, why are we even reigniting dramas ? I thought that we didn't do that anymore since the Cookiezi askfm thingies.
He even apologized : http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?p=4384015#post4384015
I mean, yeah, he may be a dick, but I don't see the point of ruining one's achievement because of his personnality. I hate jhlee since this drama (and a lot of other koreans who were revealed to be toxic such as ABCD♪) but they still are really good players and I don't see the point of saying they don't deserve it.
Just in case someone's wondering he is just using random database leaks websites (bragged about it on his stream). You can see if your logs were corrupted at some point using this kind of website, just change your password if that's the case.
Most of those leaks are quite old though so you may not even be at any risk of autistic kids unless you haven't changed passwords since 10 years.
Fun fact: he himself forgot to change his password and people were able to log on some of his accounts using the same thing.
I have a whole folder of that guy being retarded if people are curious, I might translate a few later.
I have most of cookiezi's replays (including carnival) on my PC, can upload them if you want.
EDIT: 10 glorious MB of Cookiezi's plays - http://www.sendspace.com/file/ijj8ov
Unpack the .rar in /osu/Replays and doubleclick to watch it in client, after watching replay once it should be in your local scores.
Step 0: Get Skype from http://www.skype.com/en/
Step 1: Add a bunch of random high rank osu! players to your Skype group. There is a directly proportional relationship between the rank number and the likelihood to stay in the Skype group, but an inversely proportional relationship between the rank number and the e-peen obtainable from that player. Refer to Figure 1-1 for more details.
Figure 1-1:
Rank | Chance of staying after 10 minutes | E-peen |
---|---|---|
LITERALLY COOKIEZI | HAHA YEAH RIGHT | A LOT |
pp farmer | YA OK | WHO THE FK IS THIS KID |
Step 2: Brag about the Skype group on /r/osugame through any means possible, and do it quickly before you drive off the osu! pros with your weeaboo scent
Step 3: i like bagels
Hidden is worth it if you're good at it, and you become good at it by practicing, not by being a gifted hidden chosen one. Somebody that doesn't play hidden often will find the difficulty increase to outweigh the pp increase, but once you actually learn how to play with it consistently it becomes 'free pp'.

Where the fuck did these people get their osu!.exes from??????

Hello /r/all, this post is a screenshot of the results screen of a very awesome score in the free online rhythm game osu!. The title means:
WhiteCat - the player in question.
BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance [Rebellion] - the song, and difficulty played.
+HR - the game modifiers used in this play. HR (Hard Rock) makes the approach circles faster, inverts the map vertically, minimizes the perfect hit range and makes the circles smaller for a more difficult experience.
99.70% - the play's accuracy. Note that this is the one and only FC with hardrock, but at this time I'm writing this only 3 people have higher accuracy FC's with no game modifiers.
FC - rhythm game lingo for "full combo".
959pp - the score's rating by the game's performance points system. This is 12 points higher than the second rated score.
Here's a video of the play - uploaded by WhiteCat himself
If you can buy online from Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Velocifire-NK01-Mechanical-accountants-programmers/dp/B071VBVYPR < this mechanical numpad is only 16 bucks. If you don't need the whole keyboard, then this one is perfect. It has outemu blue switches, similar to cherry blues, but you can always buy a pack of 8 cherry mx any colors for a pretty cheap price and just solder them on. That's what I did. Don't worry that it is wireless, there is no latency at all.
I think you can create a symbolic folder link to your Beatmaps folder after moving all the files, that way you won't lose replays or whatever and it won't be recalculating stuff, since Osu! will think the files are at the same place.
NEW LINK! I uploaded the wrong folder lol, when I get home ill post the rest of my skins but I have ~~4gbs of what you probably want anyways (high level private shit). https://mega.nz/#!VMh1CKwL!2vmH_kDcImNAdd6pSq4b4GGS6jtYS8brDCSITJGZzds Again SOOO sorry, this makes me feel worse than before lol

easy guide to make your own liveplays:
Install obs
Set up a new scene
add windowcapture -> osu window
add webcam,
optional: set up osu!Stream info to show songname etc.
place/resize everything
use the following settings for obs: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/
record
The streamers that got hacked definitely got their pass leaked from XSplit, but there's also stuff like 000webhost database etc so it's best to change your password if you use it on any other sites.
EDIT: You can check if your info is in any leaks here: https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Not a map but something you might enjoy, I didn't find anything that already existed:
This is a tool to generate perfect spirals of circles, you can customize it in many ways and it generates osu code you can paste straight into the .osu file. Results look like this
https://repl.it/@MzudemO/Osu-Spiral-Generator
Just hit run and enter the inputs.
I'm working on making it possible for the circles to be equidistant, also not sure if 1/3, 1/6 etc. snap works because of rounding issues.
Any feedback/suggestions would be welcome!
Edit: Now added logic to calculate sliders and green lines so you can have a spiral with decreasing SV, volume and slider always facing toward the center. Parameters are also freely changeable.
You need to change you "select link pointer" under your windows mouse setting : http://i.imgur.com/2Hga48n.png
Wwindows only read .cur file for his pointer and cursor so you'll need to convert your file using this website https://convertio.co/png-cur/
Set your .cur file and you're done.
http://jsfiddle.net/an789d4s/embedded/result/ The bigger number at the bottom by play area (cm) is the cm per play area width. Also as a bonus how it is calculated is in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/comments/2kxfm8/absolute_sensitivity_calculator_for_mouse_players/
So you probably hacked, cheated, multiaccounted or shared accounts multiple times or kept getting warning at an unbelievable rate.
Getting banned is incredibly hard and the support can't listen to everyone lying, saying they didn't do anything.
On a side note: http://ask.fm/MillhioreF/answer/113581437826
first of all: https://getsharex.com
2nd of all: learn how to properly ask a question with words, not just by throwing random screenshots and waiting on people to figure it out
and 3rd of all: you can hide your online presence in account settings, which hides when you were last online (pretty much useless feature imo)
Very shakey? If you're talking about his image material play I don't think that is the result of shitty aim but rather the result of mild cursor dancing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svF9S4bUjP0
the beginning of image material has a lot of very slow sliders, and a lot of people like to jiggle their cursors during them. When you watch back the replay, it looks weird and glitchy like this. You can even try it yourself, go jiggle your cursor as much as you can in the sliders of the intro of image material, then fail when it gets fast and press f1 to watch how your cursor looks in the replay. Mine ends up looking pretty similar to this.
Again, not saying he's not a hacker, but I'll try and explain anything suspicious that doesn't prove he is a hacker beyond doubt.
also this: http://ask.fm/Legendrend/answer/106911986958 USED to contain a link of his image material play 3 months ago, which was something like 95% accuracy and a couple of misses that stopped him from getting a top 50 or something.
there is flash flash revolution, which is exactly a flash version of ddr
on the other hand, you can install etterna on a usb drive, download some songs and play it at school, its pretty light so it can probably run even on your toaster
>to announce all the changes to a product’s specs and/or content
No, but the Amazon page has not been updated to reflect this. It still claims 266pps, at the very least.
They didn't just not tell anybody there were changes, they legitimately changed their product and didn't update anything about the specs, and therefore are selling through misinformation.
btw this score didnt overwrite his higher combo score (which is still the lowest misscount btw) here is the replay https://anonfiles.com/L3f0V380u1/wrboismb\_-\_Spawn\_Of\_Possession\_-\_Apparition\_Blind\_Faith\_2021-07-26\_Osu-1\_osr

|It was 12 years old when I began to osu
But if he joined 4 years ago on his profile, that must mean he is 16 now, or he is lying, right? No!
rrtyui join date: 2010-05-16
Right now it is 2014-03-31. This means that somewhere between now and May 16th is his birthday, and he will turn 16 years old. It has not yet been a full 4 years since he started playing, so he could very well have joined at 12 and currently be 15.

The main problem with Gyze - Honesty is with it's spacing (and it's stream speed). Here's a graph of the bonus for space streams due to spacing: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/fpnx4tezrw
A 300bpm stream at 107 spacing has the same speed value as a 185bpm stream at 125 spacing, basically, this means that the spaced streams inside Gyze - Honesty are worth more than 300+bpm streams at lower spacing (e.g. Mad Machine DT).
Okey, here proofs from firedigger. I'm too lazy for translating all of this, but you can use some online-tranlsator to read this text.
BUT! But some proofs aren irrelevant now, because >stupid people start spam to him "BIKKO, IS IT YOU?!?!?!?!?", so he change the id of profile and he deleted korean posts.
And second half of text is about legitimacy of Bikko
It happened earlier in February, You can read about it here.
Basically, recalculated pp for different angled jumps, buffed pp for fast streams, nerfed pp for spaced streams, accuracy = big pp, more pp for flashlight mod on longer maps, and probably more i missed
If the passwords you changed to are all unique from each other, you should be fine since if one gets hacked your other accounts are safe. Just doublecheck the URL before signing in so you don't accidentally give your account details away to a third party, be careful about what you download and the usual stuff, blah blah blah.
If a service that you use provides 2-step authentication, look into it and use it, but other than that you should be safe.
Also check your accounts/usernames on this site https://haveibeenpwned.com/
I was about to post an angry comment about how it is unfair to call a private server "unsecure", but then I realized they can actually royally fuck you over. Here's some ways:
I'm probably too late in this topic for anyone to actually see this, but hopefully I'll educate at least on person which can then spread it on.

Also to help out, please check out these amazing headphones that'll improve your rhythm, that's right, Raycon.

I suggest recording with OBS using these settings: How to make high quality local recordings
If you're experiencing lag during play be sure to disable Windows Aero and disable the OBS preview while recording.

Stepmania is way better than osu!mania if you only play 4k
Here is a thread referencing all major Stepmania map packs
And if you're looking for easier packs, you can get the DDR packs here
I assume hitlocking is the same as notelocking
This was most likely caused by the sliderbug fix
This can be seen on Ceptin's "fake pass" on Count down 321, at 2:16, he notelocks and misses the entire pattern, but in the old stable build, he only missed a few times, the end result is 53xmiss vs the 27xmiss the scores shows
Are you using photoshop? If so you can just use the magic wand tool to take away any space you want to be transparent and save the image as a .png
If you don't have photoshop you can use paint.NET it's free and it has the magic wand tool as well. Just adjust the tolerance level and it should take away space without the jagged edges.
Alternatively you can send me the picture that you want and I can do it for you tomorrow
I made a rar file containing all the songs that got removed: mega 1.19GB Also here is a greasemonkey script that adds a download mirror to both the beatmap's page and the search page for future songs that get removed: greasyfork
Depending on your budget, either CTL-472 or Gaomon S620
The XP-Pen will be completely fine for a first starter tablet yeah. Also the only wacom you'd have any trouble getting in the US would be the CTH/CTL-480 which is discontinued, you'd have problems no matter where you are.
The best tablet you can buy right now is the CTL-472, so it would be a good choice whenever you decide to upgrade
I don't know how an area can feel like a mouse sensitivity, but any tablet will work because they all have areas you can configure. Though the best tablet to buy right now is the Wacom CTL-472
‘Doing nothing’ actually takes quite a lot of energy. The BMR of a 65kg, 20yr old, 177cm male is ~1860 kcal/day (using The Mifflin St Jeor Equation).
Clicking a mouse has been worked out to use ~1.42 calories per click.
>“On average, 16.7 micromoles of ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) are consumed in moving one gram of muscle for one second. So, the total amount of ATP burned to move 11.7 grams of muscle in the index finger is approximately 195 micromoles (11.7g×16.7μ mol/g). There are 7.3 calories in one mole of ATP energy, so the number of calories burned in clicking the mouse equals about 1.42 (7.3/1000) X 195.”
Now, lets say we have a map that lasts 2 mins and has 450 objects. Disregarding arm movement, simply clicking that much burns 639 cal. This means you would have to click through this map 861 times to burn off a Big Mac (550 kcal), taking you 28.7 hrs.
Intense gaming is often compared physiologically to meditation. Meditation burns an average of 70 kcal per hour. However, the only times osu! would qualify as ‘intense’ would be near the end of a hard, lengthy map or in a highly competitive multiplayer match. Playing that same 2 min map in a highly competitive multiplayer match, again disregarding arm movement, would burn ~2.97 kcals. Unfortunately, you would still have to do this 185 times to burn off a Big Mac this way, and you'll only be able to play this intensely a few times in a row before needing a break from the stress.
TL;DR at best ~0.16 Big Macs per hour.
This is a mechanical keyboard with blue switches from GearBest(china), they're a very trustworthy online store in my opinion.
I bought this http://www.gearbest.com/keyboards/pp_432776.html
For all kinds of uses but it works wonders with osu! The tactile feedback of the blue switches makes everything easier and really helps especially with streams, something i noticed when i went on vacation and used my shitty laptop.
The best part is that it's not only FULLY RGB, Not only under 120$
BUT UNDER 50$! and it often goes on sale for as low as 43$! Which is the price i bought it for, and it was a pleasure typing this out, its quality man, plus the rgb makes it super cool. Hope this helped man.
You have that same shit as I have, osu! is running with OpenGL and you're running on Windows 10 (I think?) with any of those graphic cards: R9 285, R9 380 or R9 380x
Source: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/any-changes-with-an-upgraded-video-card.40855/#post-184243
Workaround: use OBS-MP and; switch to the OpenGL renderer or enable "Multi-adapter compatibility" in game capture
.
If it wasn't insulated that coil would short out and won't work. You could use a multimeter and measure the resistance of the outside of the wire and find that it is insulated. Also, I'm right.
Edit: The reason why I know it's insulated is because last year I used similar transparent copper wires to make a electric motor. It didn't work because I forgot to get rid of the insulators at the connection.
Well, the default skin is not that bad but you may want to get rid of the bar and column lines as they really mess up your view. Another thing is to get rid of the sliders' head and tail. It will make your LN (long note) reading better. Here is a good skin. Just like with standard, look at all the skins available and make your own mix that works best for you. Here is my mix if you are interested.
Use fixed scroll speed instead of BPM scaling (you can change it in the options). You are going to have trouble reading harder maps just with fixed 11-14 scroll speed though. I would say above 20 would be optimal. But you may lose some accuracy if you jump all of a sudden. A good way is to increase scroll speed just by 1 when you are having a skill block.
For some reason people like to make up stories to seem like they know what is going on. All that can really be known is that he is a player who was high rank solely because of his very high speed scores, and that one day his account made a lot of obviously hacked scores. He then stated on his ask.fm that he had been hacked and he would contact peppy or someone to try and fix everything.
Is he a hacker? Who knows. I like to think he wasn't, rrtyui thinks he wasn't either (which would mean rrtyui is agreeing that he is not second to cookiezi in speed but third). None of his scores were really ridiculous for somebody who trains streaming as hard as he says he did.
Every time a fanart contest ends and game gets a new set of seasonal backgrounds, an announcement appears on osu.ppy.sh about it with links to every BG that got into game. Here's the latest one: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-08-23-summer-tf-fanart-contest-results
Guessing you'll make your wallpaper a slideshow or something of these BGs, I highly recommend digging up older seasonal BGs for some variety.
pretty sure gifts are always anonymous (cause I've only seen screenshots of received emails where it says "the gifter has chosen to remain anonymous")

It's called an IOGraph, you can get started fairly easily here - http://iographica.com/
You literally just run it, click once, and you're recording. Forget about it, come back to it later and amazingly enough it tracked everything pixel-perfectly.
The thing is, Dean has implemented puush into the ShareX program. So when you download puush from http://puush.me/ you're downloading the ShareX program, but with the screenshots being uploaded to the puush servers instead.
you can find the image in the song folder I doubt there's a higher res version
the mapper also sourced the artist in the description so this should be the highest quality version
Sorry if I don't explain well,
Go to your skin folder, find something called skin.ini, open that up, in it find [Colours], and change the "combo" codes (example, for all white, change the code to "255,255,255" on all the combos). Use this to help figure out the color code.
Hope this helps
There is an empirical way to determine the correct offset to synchronise key presses with the song if you have a microphone and a reasonably loud keyboard. Note that this doesn't work if you're using hitsounds, as hitsounds are inherently reactive to your input and thus are always delayed from your input.
Firstly, you're going to need a program that can record and inspect audio waveforms. If you don't already have something then audacity is free and open source.
Now you need to set up your headset, mic, and keyboard such that you can record the sound of your keyboard and the sound output by your headphones at the same time.
We're going to be using the offset wizard map so it'd be best to adjust things until you get a distinct waveform for key presses and the pulses in the offset wizard.
Now set your global offset to 0 and ensure your hit error bar is on. Start recording audio and play the offset wizard map. Watch the hit error bar and try to get a few hits at the centre of the bar.
Stop recording once the map is finished. Watch the replay and note which hits are nearest to the centre of the hit-error bar.
Go into your audio program, find those hits, and calculate the difference between the start of your keyboard sound and the start of the pulse sound (or the middle of both, if you can). This will tell you how much negative global offset you'll need.
Make the adjustment and repeat until you're synchronised to within a few ms.
Do note that if you're headphones have significant enough delay you might have trouble identifying which pulses go with which key presses. I can't really help you with that, it's just something you'll have to work out for yourself.
Once you get the synchronisation correct you're still likely going to have issues with hitting early/late. You're simply going to have to struggle through it until your brain gets used to it.
Yes, all you have to do is download the "Osumon.au3" on the github and delete every names after Mew, (just don't forget to put a ] at the end of the line), also there is a "random (1,802,1)" (find it using ctrl+f) line where you have to replace 802 by 151 (you can do these modifications with notepad)
Then to launch the game you have to download/install this https://www.autoitscript.com/site/autoit/downloads/ and open your edited "osumon.au3" with autoit.exe (I believe it's called like that) and voilà.
>Not compatible with prior Intuos (CTL480)
/u/Ztreg, I'm pretty sure you need this one (can also be the one without the eraser but I couldn't find it). Might have a hard time finding it for an acceptable price though since the 480 is discontinued.
EDIT: German amazon has one for 33€, shipping might be rather expensive if you're not in europe though. Idk if there's an english option I could guide you through the site if you want to buy that.
No problem. Also, if you do buy a tablet, the Huion H420 is cheap, but the pen requires a battery which kinda makes the Pen heavy.
That one I linked I like but if you can't afford that, the same company makes This one: XP-Pen G430S which is smaller, but 22.99 rather than 32.99. But I recommend just spending the extra $10.
Noticed Amazon has this side by side. http://prntscr.com/l7v32r
They're both multis for the same person too. Probably just using the HideMyAss VPN. DPRK wouldn't allow osu! anyway even for the elite because it breaks hundreds of national laws such as foreign music, unofficial music, etc.
There's also a #1 North Korean account hidden from the leaderboard.
oh, you used to use RT?
hi im MVDawn, im hosting a group photo on July 27th, 5:00 PM Eastern for the 1 year anniversary of the forum merge. link here
Depends on what you're streaming. If you're planning on streaming osu! (fast paced, lots of motion) with 0.9 mb/s upload speed your stream is going to look like garbage. Not even worth your time.
If you're just going to be in graphic designing (for example just Photoshop; barely any motion) it might be feasible.
It always comes down to what is more comfortable for you personally and you can also become good with a small area.
You should read what azer wrote about this topic on his ask.fm.
If you want quality recordings:
Download OBS, set your ingame resolution to full screen, set up your scene and follow this guide: How to make high quality local recordings.
Always record at 60fps, no exceptions. It's 2015
You might also want to set OBS to downscale the video to 1280x720.

Fun facts about FinalNwo
I made a rar of these songs in case anyone wants to download them all at once. Just drag all songs into your open osu window or into your osu/songs folder.
the 387pp play i set as a 6 digit is no longer available, the only one that IS is the hidamari ezdt 555pp i set as a #40000 https://anonfiles.com/V8a1k86fp2/replay-osu_2067473_2974012137_osr
my playstyle was the same on both plays.
Sure man! Ill set up the download for you. Here you go! Use This to change your name on the scoreboard. I recommend downloading the Maximellion Font from the file i sent you, opening "scorebar-colour" up in paint or paint.net, selecting my name, Deleting it and using whatever name you want instead. :)

you dont need to be all paranoid when using torrents, m8. It's no big deal just because it's torrenting. Torrenting is not synonymous with piracy like some seem to think
https://snipcart.com/blog/integrating-apis-introduction seems to be decent but that's a lot of work for you so i have another solution. there's an extension called copy urls which will let you copy the link to all open tabs
7k is different from 4k, 7k is more about reading playing complex patterns while 4k is more about "raw" speed and endurance (not so straightforward obviously, but it's kinda it)
You can stick to 4k if you want. There are some 4k specific maps (most popular 4k mappers are Lein and Spy I think), you can also look for Stepmania client ( I never really tried it but it's most popular 4k) and try FFR
Very small difference. Normal (new) is calculated a little different and will values sections outside of the hardest a little more boosting maps with more consistent difficulty I believe (and punishing other maps a little) . Realistically idk why they even bothered to make such a small change but it is how it is.
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2021-07-27-performance-points-star-rating-updates information is here if you want to read more.
>It wasn't considering localisation settings when decoding the number.
It has now been fixed.
changelog: Cutting Edge 20210926.1
>Fix star rating not being parsed with invariant culture
>✔ Show more correct star rating for selected beatmaps ^(by) <strong>^(smoogipoo)</strong>
>
>osu! will now do its best to show the more up-to-date star rating by retrieving the value from the web. This is because osu!(stable) is unable to perform the newer star rating calculations locally.
Note that this only applies to display of the current beatmap. Filtering is not supported.
Open the song folder and the background file should be in there. If you're talking about the seasonal bgs, they can be found here
Skins usually have different menu backgrounds that can be changed in files. The file is menu-background (.jpg and .png I think?) but if you want to see the background you need osu!supporter (the link should do a good job explaining what it is).
Interesting, it is as you said, looks like the maps have changed (so I guess it was a server-side change that wasn't announced yet? I tried looking in github for any changes, but couldn't find anything)
edit: it's in today's stable changelog - https://osu.ppy.sh/home/changelog/stable40/20191023.4
As you say, pp take into account time between object. However due to shitty pp code 101 there is a cap on how low time between object considered into pp calculation. It used to be 300bpm 1/4(50ms) and then got lowered to 330bpm 1/4(45.45ms) recently but the cap is still there. You can see on [this sr change post](http://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points) that the graph stop going up after 330bpm. tbh i dont know why they did it. Maybe pp spike after 330bpm is too big and and they worry about double tap abuse, idk. but its there nonetheless.
Here's the changelog for the change: https://osu.ppy.sh/home/changelog/web/2019.524.0
Add scheduled task to rank beatmapsets in queue (osu-web#4489)
The current limit is set at 8 mapsets/day (per gamemode), and there's also a limit so a max of 2 mapsets can get ranked in a 20min interval
https://osu.ppy.sh/home/news/2019-02-05-new-changes-to-star-rating-performance-points
There were some big pp changes recently and a hidden re-balance earlier.

> The winning map will be made available as an Aspire-class Approval map in the coming days, whilst the two runners-up will be entered into the Loved category whenever possible.
Not according to this.
