Thanks for narrating my story "Murder Soup"!
The story is included in our collection here:
I had this problem just starting as well. I have a laptop that's about the same age, custom made as the best possible laptop at the time, excluding the ssd. I was streaming and recording at the same time. The in-game frame rate was solid, just the recording was choppy. That was just a problem with my internet somehow, not sure how it was fixed my internet stayed the same the next time just worked.

As for suggestions to fix, try minimizing background apps, like try only having the program you're recording and OBS.
If you are streaming as well, try without streaming see if that fixes it.
Try rebooting just before you start recording.
Make sure your computer stays cool. https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/ is a good program to monitor this. My computer usually runs about 40-60 degrees just with my school stuff running (Unity is cpu heavy). Trying to heat my computer as much as possible I've only gotten to 95ish degrees max. So if its higher than that you should probably upgrade your cooling.
If money isn't an issue, it might be a good idea to upgrade ram and your gpu. Your total ram should be around double your gpu memory. since you are able to record you probably have this but make sure OBS is running on the same gpu as your display. I think the likely problem is your gpu.

NOTE: I'm not 100% positive on all of this but its a good place to start checking if it helps, obviously starting with the stuff that wont cost you.
Hi, I've just commented on the video on YT :). My tips for you: Your thumbnails could improve a bit - I use MS publisher or fotor.com (this one is really easy, just upload a picture and put some text in. And it's free). Don't use white/bright text on a bright background, there needs to be contrast so your viewers can read it :)
No worries, I recommend canva.com for editing thumbnails and channel art. For editing classes, if you use adobe after effects then their website has hundreds of tutorials for free, otherwise youtube will do you just fine
Congratulations! It doesn't get any harder past this point.
Small critique is that your artwork could do with a retouch, maybe go to canva.com and try out a few designs :)

Hi, I suggest you add live videos to your channel as it really helps to grow the audience. You can start from a short one every Saturday, for example (consistency is a key). It could be Q&A where you answer your followers questions, or a demonstration of some spiritual practices. It's not that hard and it works! Here are some good tips on how to start. Good luck!
I use this one with my Pixel 3 XL. The one I got was part of a package with a light ring and a stand.
