Never switch to IE. Ever.
You can use the Youtube Center Chrome Plugin to force using the Flash Player. Download it from here. You will have to directly install it though, which is just dragging the file from your download folder into the extensions menu within Chrome.
Once you've installed it, go to YouTube. You should be prompted to go to YouTube Center Settings. Go to External Players and set player type to Flash.
With YouTube Center, you can also disable DASH Playback; DASH Loads the video in chunks, and will only load the next chunk when your near the end of the other. Disabling that will allow the video to load entirely, and can make for smoother playback.
That's the only way I've been able to find to fix it.

Meet your new homepage then, http://www.ighome.com/ Pretty much all of the same functionality of iGoogle but made by a third party when iGoogle disappeared. I'm really hoping someone ends up making a 3rd party app site to help manage collections on youtube when the feature goes away. I've got 158 subscriptions but only about 10 have frequent updates that I'd like to see which is where collections really comes in handy.
After hearing Steve talk about the documentary on the band I looked it up and watched it. It was really good!
If anyone is interested you can watch it for free at http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/the_rock_a_fire_explosion

Norg does play and produce indie rock in his free time, though, which explains why you would think that.

How about Kingdom Come: Deliverance? New game being funded on Kickstarter, interesting game in itself in that it's an rpg set in a realistic and historically accurate environment. The interesting thing however is how the funding for the game has highlighted the flaws within game publishers of today, the designers tell how publishers wouldn't help fund the game as there is too much uncertainty about the future of rpgs etc, when they believe that the majority of gamers want f2p mmos on their tablet devices. They tell the whole story on their kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1294225970/kingdom-come-deliverance.
