My last art book was Hyrule Historia , a Zelda art book which was also published by Dark Horse Comics. I’m very excited for this one. :D
Amazon is selling it, slight sale it looks like.
If you want to save the money, here’s a spoiler synopsis. It doesn’t really add anything to S4, which managed to piss off both those who read and didn’t read it.
>!About a couple of weeks after the Storm Spire, the trio are back in Katolis, but Rayla keeps having dreams about Viren, thinking he’s alive. They go to the Moon Nexus to revive Phoe Phoe, and Callum, hoping to help Rayla get answers, tries to activate the Nexus portal, which leads into realm beyond life and death or something. They spend the next couple of week restoring the portal and Rayla goes in, and finds Viren in a cocoon (which we find out Aaravos wrapped him into preserve him). However, she still believes Viren to be alive, so she wants to go out and look for him. Callum agrees to go with her, but she tried to stop him. Callum, afraid of losing her again because she almost died in the portal, won’t let her go alone, and Rayla agrees to let him come. That was a lie, and in the middle of the night, she writes a letter to Callum (the contents of the letter can be found on TDP’s website), and abandons him, going off on her own to search and leaving him behind, on his birthday. That is why Rayla was gone for two years in S4.!<
I just checked on several versions of Amazon, amazon.de seems to stay on 15sept. :/
really strange... pfff, I really hope we will have more news about it (and most of all S4) with . We really don't have enough food with this show x'(
It's not a story, it's literally just an artbook -- concept art, character sketches, landscape paintings, stuff like that. Here.
But there was one important bit of lore in it... they included the pages that Viren saw when he was looking up info on Aaravos, and there was an extra page, one that wasn't in the show, with more information in Italian. It glorified Aaravos as a savior of humanity. It also said that while the dark mages tried, they found the unicorns deceptive and strong and "almost impossible to hunt." This is a very different perspective than we got in Book One: Moon, so it implies that we still don't know the whole story.
No problem! https://www.shutterstock.com/de/image-photo/girlfriend-discovering-that-her-boyfriend-cheating-635363381?studio=1 here ya go. I found out about it today through a reddit thread, it's a photo with the same models as the popular "distracted boyfriend" meme, they got a whole series of hilarious photos.
>Even if it’s a fantasy show you can’t just add whatever the hell you want
Yes you can, that literally the point of the fantasy genre.

>Fantasy is a genre of literature that features magical and supernatural elements that do not exist in the real world. Although some writers juxtapose a real-world setting with fantastical elements, many create entirely imaginary universes with their own physical laws and logic and populations of imaginary races and creatures. Speculative in nature, fantasy is not tied to reality or scientific fact.
They could make every single character bi/gay if they wanted to.
That depends on which VPN you're using. Different VPNs have different purposes, the really cheap ones only offer privacy and secure browsing, not surpassing geoblocks. So make sure the VPN you're using actually offers all the features necessary to be able to stream on Disney +
Disney and Netflix have really good geoblockers and VPN detectors. But if you're willing to pay for a good VPN, you'll likely be able to get around that.
I think the best VPNs to use for streaming are ExpressVPN, NordVPN, or SurfShark. I personally don't use a VPN myself (since the good ones are expensive and the cheap ones suck) so I am unable to tell you which one will work. So I recommend you do your own research. If the VPN you're using is already one of the three I mentioned, I'm pretty sure they have good customer support programs (otherwise they wouldn't be expensive), so if you complain to them, they can help you troubleshoot or you may be able to get your money back.
Some advice I keep hearing over and over again is NEVER use a free VPN, because the people/companies that offer them often steal your data and sell it for marketing. And to my knowledge, there is no free VPN that is capable of getting over geoblockers and detectors that the big streaming sites use.
In the first novelization we take Viren's point of view on the butterfly scene, and he remembers how he started doing the butterfly spell to begin with.
It turns out that Soren was very sick as a child, and Viren did powerful dark magic to save Soren's life, and that spell is what scarred Viren's face.
The Dragon prince artbook covers all the art for seasons 1-3. They have a lot of details about worldbuilding and concepts for the show.

I don't know any non-Amazon online retailers for comics, unfortunately.
It would be best if you bought them as it helps support the writers and artists that made it possible to produce the comic book: https://www.amazon.com/Through-Dragon-Prince-Graphic-Novel/dp/1338653067
There are ofc other ways of reading it...
Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaa it's was absolutely not easy :D In fact I feel like screaming everytime I see this (his head should be tilted upwards a little more). But I just got this book and I was pretty hyped to actually use it :)
Also same about Viren just being all alone and contemplating things. Only I was thinking a meadow of glowing dandelions or something like this (also yeah bc of that fic lmao). Don't want viren to have to deal with soulfangs in the middle of thinking about his place in this world. It would be hilarious tho ngl

Novelization of Season 2. And there is also one for Season 1.
Through the Moon is the graphic novel set after season 3.
The nexus dimensions is the “shimmering land between life and death” that Lujanne mentioned in the show, which is explored a little in that graphic novel.
I do recommend reading it if you can… the showrunners claim you don’t need it to understand season 4 (once it comes out) but I think if you aren’t familiar with it you’ll get a pretty big/confusing shock.
Use Ecosia as your search engine! Ecosia
They take a majority of their profit and put it towards supporting reforestation projects across the world. Wiki
I’m pretty sure they use Bing to generate most of their search results. Every now and then I’ll need to go to Bing proper or Google to find something I’m really on the hunt for. But for me it’s been worth the trade off in supporting a good cause just by doing something I already do.
They have a chrome extension I use on my desktop and there is an app for iOS.
You also might want to look at a upcoming game made by former minecraft modders called Hytale. It basically focuses on the roleplaying and adventuring aspects of Minecraft and has a insanely high level of mod tools, to the point of allowing custom animations, creatures, items, buildings, blocks and questlines.
I've got plans myself to work on some TDP related models for Hytale when it is officially released :)
I do public speaking training and used to do a lot of acting work, audio recordings can make you notice the issues in a person’s speech that seems perfect when talking in person. Here’s some good exercises for keeping your pronunciation in tip top shape if you’d like:
Try out https://kast.gg/ (the direct successor to the venerable rabb.it service), lets you host watch parties from either a PC or your phone iirc. Basically zoom calls with a focus on outgoing video quality (for the movie).
Also Netflix streams can be run from your browser on PC just fine, although obviously it won't be as nice watching on a smaller monitor compared to a TV.
I really like the discussion going on here. I'm a little...perplexed by your statement that Aang doesn't follow the Hero's Journey as closely as Zuko or Katara. Aang follows the monomyth so precisely that I wouldn't be surprised if the creators consciously went out of their way to lay that out in the story. His Hero's Journey has been laid out in detail several times (here and here). Heck, the second link even uses Aang to analyze the monomyth. Zuko and Katara have elements of this Journey, but not to the same extent.

As for Callum, I agree with the original post. I thought the writers made it clear he's the one designated to be the main character and hero of the story. Ez is surprisingly without much of a narrative arc until the latter end of season 2, when he learns his father had died and he must become king. Rayla goes through phenomenal character development, and it's going to be fascinating to see where the show takes her. But, she's been mostly Callum's mentor (I think OP was right about that), as well as his guide through Xadia. And her character wasn't transformed to the same extent as Callum was.
Callum is probably going to be the main hero at the end of this. The writers have spent an absurd amount of time on both his character development and development of his abilities, to a far greater extent than any other character. He does the impossible and forges a connection to an arcanum, and through Aaravos and the Key, the show teases he'll connect to the other five as well. It's not guaranteed that he, and not someone else, will be the true hero, but it would make for very strange and confusing storytelling if he won't be.
The Comics are their own stories, Through the Moon is a bridge between season 3 and season 4, so worth the read imo, You can buy it here.
The Bloodmoon Huntress is set before season 1 and focuses around Rayla as a child, that’s coming out next year if I recall.
Just search for it on Google or Amazon or book depository etc. If you really can't find it heres a link
Yes. It is called Through the Moon. You can probably buy it from most book retailers.
Here is the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1338608819/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_6AKWC66XZZ5ZWN1D1K2X
You can also probably type in "The Dragon Prince" on Amazon and find all related content (whether you choose to purchase it from Amazon or elsewhere).
Welcome!!! Isn't it great!?
If you're sensitive about spoilers, definitely go read Through the Moon as soon as you can, it has some stuff that happens after season 3 and before season 4 that gets brought up around here pretty frequently. (Technically you will not have to have read it to understand s4, according to the creators, but once you read it you may be asking yourself how that is the case...)
Yes! If you're interested in characters' internal thoughts and some additional lore, I recommend it. We particularly get a much clearer look into where Viren is coming from throughout season one. It's also not very expensive especially on kindle.
>Defense of the Storm Spire was planned by Amaya (or at least she was explaining the plan). Callum was just translating sign language.
And he also drew out the battle plan in his sketchbook as well. While Amaya was the chief tactician, Callum was an integral part in planning the battle. So, the point still stands that he hadn't "given up" on battle tactics.
>I'm not sure which part of Spellbook are you referring to
This Spellbook. Specicially, Callum says the following after connecting to the Sky Arcanum:
"My tip to anyone trying to learn something hard: Sometimes there can be so much that it feels overwhelming, frustrating, and impossible. My advice is to try to be patient, and breathe, and trust that eventually you will get it!"
>Yes, that's true, and I think this would fit much better that swordfighting. I could definitely imagine that
Well, that's still melee combat.
You can download the kindle app for free on your phone, tablet, or PC, so you don't need to pay anything for the software to read it.
I think I figured it out, here is the pack. But first you need to install the exact same app I used, which is this. It should work.
I don't know exactly why Italian isn't available in Germany, but the more premium VPNs might work. ExpressVPN and NordVPN both have a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can buy a one-month plan and get it refunded if you want.
It's only $8 on Kindle and you don't have to worry about shipping that way. (And you don't actually need a Kindle, you can use the app on a PC/smartphone/tablet.)
Here's a video to how I did 1 side.
I use a TruArt Stage 2.
Do not cheap out on a starter one. They take forever to heat up and lose heat way to quickly. I tried with a "starter" on for ~$20. Had better results with a soldering iron.
If you want, I can DM you the assets I used as well.
Happy woodburning.
ETA: THANK YOU! I appreciate the complement. I was worried it might not come out. My first big project. I was a bit nervous.
yep, it's the novelization of S1, you can find it on amazon ^^
It's mostly canon but some things are really different. Ehasz said it's an original work based on the same universe, and that the show prevails. It's to have more insight and all.

Haha no problem! I just get r*eally* into the analysis and details of it all. :D
The only books out right now that I know of are Callum's Spellbook and The Dragon Prince - Book One: Moon. The Spellbook has some neat stuff, but the novelisation of the first season is what I've referenced here. It is considered canon, but the show is considered more canon. So if one situation is different between the book and the show, the show version is what's properly canon. It's a fun little read, and I do like some of the added details and perspective insights with the characters that weren't in the show, or just had to be inferred.
As much as I despise Amazon, it's one of the easier ways to get them, so I just defaulted to those links.
