I have a Starfleet Command San Francisco Navy Yard parking permit sticker on my front windshield. I've had more than one drive through worker thank me for my service.

I'm lazy. Mailing address for Fox?
Edit: you can find it in this video description (I don't know Reddit rules for posting addresses, so I won't). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEPnf7LNAjY&feature=youtu.be
Edit Edit: If you do this, don't send them crappy cheap pickles that will get thrown out- no employee wants to take home a giant jar of whole pickles. Several (or just one) small jars of gourmet pickles will certainly find their way to someone's fridge. Something like this will be seen as a kind gesture and not trolling.
Do you know that Jay Jackson, the actor who plays Perd, used to be a TV reporter himself?

So I decided to play around with Google's new Storyboard app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.photolab.storyboard&hl=en) and I'd say the results came out rather well! More comic-style photos of this scene can be found here:
Haha I would, but I don't want Fox to sue me. This doorbell only took about 10 minutes to make. I bought this button from amazon, and made the Planetary Union symbol using a silhouette cameo. I cut the design on vinyl and stuck it on. The button can record any sound so I just recorded the door chime in a quiet room.
This was a birthday present I made for Tom, it's been a big hit!
Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Galaxy Quest, here are some Trailers
> I do this for a living for a lot of brands.
Are you the guy I'm trying to frustrate by running one of these, along with Privacy Badger and Privacy Possum (not specifically with Hulu in mind) or do you do something different?
(I get that Hulu is going to know what account streamed what shows regardless of anything else, it was your "a lot of brands" that got me thinking.)

Available on Amazon Prime for only $99.99. Who knew that there would be that much value to old TV?

Not OP, but I bought this one on Amazon and really liked it. Only issue was that the button on the pants came off but that’s an easy fix.
Amazon Video is not free but it actually works for international viewers, which was a pleasant surprise. I am in Argentina and I can't watch it on Fox, Hulu or Yahoo View, but I bought the Season Pass in Amazon for $25 and I just finished streaming Episode 2 just fine.
With 26 episodes "in the can" now, I would say it is going to be coming to a much larger number of countries than would have been the case with just Season One.
I wish I could help you since unfortunately in my case I'm from America and watching on Hulu.
I know that it is currently on Amazon Video for purchase, but I don't know if that might be available to international audiences either. At least it is worth a shot but it might cost you a little bit. Season One is also available on DVD and might be easier to get in some countries.
Don't they have it on amazon? I found this:
https://www.amazon.com/The-Orville-Season-1/dp/B074SY51TB/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
I think that's a streaming service? I dunno how ideal it is. Never used amazon before. I'm going to try pay it money and hope it's a streaming service.
LOL Well, I was putting off posting it here because rule 5 says: "No unofficial videos", but I guess it means pirated stuff, I snoozed, I loosed :-)
I might make a video tutorial, it is all simple trickery and uses free software (Blender), but ask away...maybe not 20 million though.
Got it from Amazon. I don't believe it is official though.
For the first season, have you considered buying a DVD?
Amazon Germany lists a Region 2 DVD
with English and German audio, and
subtitles in German, French, and Dutch.
Now you buy the digital on Prime video on Amazon for the low low price of only 10 ducks!
If you have a VPN that can unblock Netflix (like ExpressVPN, or sometimes NordVPN), Discovery is available in literally every other country I've tried. Canada, UK, Germany, France, they all get Discovery on Netflix.
Use justwatch.com to find out where you can watch or buy shows that you're interested in.
I checked for Ireland and it's not listing any streaming services. It does say you can buy it from sky store though. Not sure if that'll work for you.
Ohm nope its offical
Following the closure of the FOX channel in the United Kingdom in June, Disney has officially announced that Seth MacFarlane’s live-action hit sci-fi show “The Orville” will be joining Disney+ in the UK and Ireland from this September.
The first two seasons are already available on Disney+ in some countries including Australia and Canada.

Also -> https://www.disneyplus.com/es-es/series/the-orville/xJDRPuAtRWxz (region lock applies)
S1 DVD release dates vary regionally.
> "Season one is not even being released until 25 October in Europe."
I see that date listed on Amazon Germany, for example.
Note that the DVDs are already now available in the UK, since the 8th of October.
Amazon Italy lists a later release date of 11 December.
Surprisingly, the Region 1 (e.g. US) DVD release is also
scheduled for that late date of 11 December.
The most importantly thing isn’t bound to budget, scheduling, COVID-19, or most things having to do with production or modern “digital workflow”.
Writing. Writing takes time, good-to-great writing even more so. Even 10-13 episode season can be soul-crushing to a show that has a singular writer, or a main writer that synthesizes the output of a Writer’s room. Throwing more money or bodies at this problem rarely works. Doctor Who’s Russell T. Davies A Writer’s Tale is a great example of just how hard it is to create 10 episodes of a quality show a year (as well as other examples of production and the general “how-to” of television).
Yes there are lots of ways. Is discussing alternative streaming sources taboo on Reddit? There are threads on Reddit devoted to where you can watch movies via streaming sites, why would it be taboo here? The key is to stream, not download. In many jurisdictions the moment you download, you are definitely breaking the law.
And get a vpn account for additional privacy. The best one IMHO is Swiss based .
When you browse streaming sites, I normally recommend Firefox. Have Ublock Origin and Privacy Badger Enabled. I also use Ghostery but I know some reddit users are not happy with Ghostery currently. Some users also like DecentralEyes, ConsistentHTTPS or HTTPS Everywhere, minerblock (blocks cryptocurrency miner scripts) among others for additional protections. Something to clear flash cookies as well. There are some other good browsers as well for browsing and streaming purposes I mention FF as it is well known to most net users.
Actually, it turns out Watchmaker does have an app that turns watch faces into Live Wallpaper.
It doesn't respond to taps when used as a lock screen, and when used as a home screen wallpaper, it appears on all screens (so things can look pretty busy when it's covered by icons, which get preference when tapping). I'd find it more useful if they had a widget version.
I've corrected the Amazon link in my previous reply, so that it goes directly to the $49.99 hardcover edition (as does the Barnes & Noble link) instead of the e-book.
For those who do prefer the e-books, click the eBook option on that Barnes & Noble page, or the "Kindle & Comixology" link on the Amazon page. The ebooks price there is $29.99, which is $20 lower than the hardcover price.
Note also that another Amazon Kindle set of all 12 is priced even lower, at (U.S.) $23.88 at the time of this comment.
For me, it was like they were looking at it from above, much like we'd look at a photograph or painting. I think it was an homage to Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions by Edwin Abbott.
Another Dutchy here. Had the same disappointment a while back. Tried to use NordVPN, set it to US, still didn't work. Found an article online saying something about it only releasing in Canada (which, judging by the other comments here, is untrue), so I set the VPN to Canada and it worked.
Disney+ seems to have more trouble with VPNs than say Netflix or YouTube, but it does do the trick.
There have been many tweets asking about that, but no informative answers that I can find.
FWIW, the season is available for purchase only (but not Prime streaming) from Amazon.de (English audio).
Possibly a t-shirt bot. Take care when purchasing the t-shirt. At best, you will get a low-quality t-shirt, and at worst you get your credit card swiped.

This design is sold by many companies and is even listed on Amazon (although out of stock). https://www.amazon.com/Trek-Rama-Orvillian-Sleeve-T-Shirt/dp/B07TBYL7LG
After Majority Rule aired, numerous tweeters called it a "ripoff" of Black Mirror's "Nosedive". However, on Majority Rule's airdate, MacFarlane had tweeted that he wrote the script "a year and half" before. That would mean he wrote it several months before Nosedive aired. – The aforementioned 2014 Community episode obviously predates both (and as that commenter said, "it's an often repeated concept"). – But the source of inspiration that MacFarlane cited was Jon Ronson's 2016 book So You've Been Publicly Shamed.
Yeah, the S in TARDIS is super necessary.
But i really have no idea, it was 25+ years ago and i think it was in like one of these kids horror anthologies from the book fair.

"Masculine demeanor"? A lot of gender expression is cultural. Also, power corrupts. Look at how the bio Kaylon children tortured their robot. In a matriarchal society that formed in response to destructive patriarchy, women would have had to use systems to enforce their dominance. Power corrupts.
There's a book about white women in the antebellum US South who owned slaved. that explains that women could be even more sadistic and cold-hearted in their treatment of enslaved people.
From The Orville Fandom Wiki:
> ... [Seth wrote the script] in mid-2016 ... [after reading a book titled] <em>So You've Been Publicly Shamed</em>, by author Jon Ronson....
> Specifically, MacFarlane has cited the case of Justine Sacco in reference to writing the episode, a South African woman whose tweets intending to parody a racist American were taken as serious by Gawker and other media sources. A public online shaming campaign ignored her explanation and resulted in enormous worldwide backlash, and she lost her job. A Gawker blogger later apologized, admitting he stoked public ire to generate ad revenue.
> .
> At the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con, MacFarlane reflected:
>> "We wrote that episode the summer of - I don't know, was it two years ago? - and we thought we were all innovative, and five months later the Black Mirror episode ["Nosedive"] comes out, and we're like, 'Shit, everyone's going to think we're-'" [laughter]. "But it's clearly a common concern given the fact that two shows touched on this independently.
>> "Look, it's incredibly creepy. I think there are good things about social media and Twitter. We've seen a speediness of acceptance for certain marginalized groups that I think without the unification of social media would have taken a lot longer. That's the positive side of social media. The downside is that it can become a mob very quickly.
>> "I think it's very creepy. We're not evolved enough as a species not to succumb to the rush of joining a group that is ganging up on another group or individual. There's a weird rush that gives a lot of people when they become part of a mob. It's too soon to independently govern ourselves in the way that social media attempts to do so."

The guy who wrote 2001: A Space Odyssey wrote a book based on your exact premise.
What if you could open wormholes to view the past, and therefore, witness every historical event? And interestingly, what if the tech improved over time, because as you increase the resolution, you get to go further back?
I've read a lost of Sci-fi - this is in the top 10 for sure.
It's weird because I run into people that haven't read it, and I'm like, "it's one of the masters of science fiction, at the end of his life, and is one of the best books ever written, and somehow nobody knows about it."
> "Majority Rule"
Trivia notes:
In the days after "Majority Rule" aired, numerous people tweeted accusations of a "ripoff" from Black Mirror's "Nosedive" — but, on Majority Rule's airdate, MacFarlane had noted that he'd written it (with inspiration from a book) "a year and a half" before it aired. – That's several months before Nosedive aired.
Because both Majority Rule and Nosedive have also been compared to a 2014 Community episode, "App Development and Condiments", Wikipedia mentions both Majority Rule and Nosedive in the "See also" section of its article about that Community episode.
It is. I bought it on Comixology when it was separate, and now it's on the Kindle store. It's on sale right now, actually.
Some more info:
IIRC Tom told me it was planned to be filmed in multiple countries. Unfortunately, as the previous commenter noted, plans for filming had to be cancelled.
IIRC Tom and Seth both have said something about the remote possibility that perhaps the script could potentially be filmed someday (if the show continues)? — AFAIK there aren't any current plans for such filming; it's only a vague just-maybe-perhaps future possibility.
Anyway, yeah, Seth decided to novelize the script, and it is expected to be released July 19th. – In the U.S., Barnes & Noble has it listed as a Nook e-book and as an audiobook. (Note: The audiobook is narrated by Bruce Boxleitner, who guest-starred in last week's episode.) – Amazon lists a Kindle e-book, but is not yet listing the audiobook (I hope they may add it later)?
So glad you enjoyed it and most of us can relate to the feeling The Orville gives us. To me it’s like experiencing SciFi like a kid again. Every Friday … my dad, me and Star Trek.
If you want you can use a VPN to watch the Orville Season 3 (I use ExpressVPN and can recommend it). You can install the app on you phone and use it to watch the Orville and stream it to your TV or you watch it on your PC. Episodes are available in English, Spanish, polish, Italian and I believe French. Although they might take a few days to be available if you use a UK VPN.
There were multiple interviews regarding season 4 and multiple rumors. Some actors said it’s the final season (maybe because their contracts weren’t renewed) others like The mighty producer/editor Tom or Seth himself said they would want to do more if the audience is there for it. I’ve also heard that HULU wants more. Not sure if it’s a budget related thing or what the issue is. But At the moment I personally feel like it’s 70/30 for a renewal. Could be totally wrong .. but Star Trek is going into a similar direction now and scifi is relevant again.
> B&N
Clarification: The book will also be found from other sellers.
(I mentioned B&N just because it happens to be the seller listed via the Disney Books page that Seth tweeted about.)
Currently Amazon also lists it, but (at the time of this comment) ebook only, not yet the audio version.
Not all VPNs are good and some are easily detected by streaming services. I use ExpressVPN (it’s 13$ a month) and I never had an issue with it. I stream The Orville on Disney+ while using a UK server. I also got NordVPN recommended and it’s a little cheaper, I can’t personally recommend it though since .. well.. I never used it. Free VPNs usually don’t work and have a data limit per day.
> There’s always a way out.
I suppose so, although maybe not for some. Imagine, for example, someone who's been legally kidnapped, imprisoned, and constantly heavily drugged against their will. That kind of situation can really limit your options, I guess.
There's good news and bad news about that. The good news is that the cliffhanger gets answered in the comic series. The bad news is that it looks like the comic series has been cancelled.

Trivia note (just for info):
Numerous viewers accused "Majority Rule" of ripping off Nosedive. However, in a (now deleted) tweet on the episode's airdate, Seth noted that he'd written Majority Rule "a year and a half" before it aired (so, he wrote it before Nosedive aired), inspired by a book. — The 2014 Community episode ("App Development and Condiments") obviously predates both Majority Rule and Nosedive.

Some numerous viewers blasted "Majority Rule" as an alleged "ripoff" of the Black Mirror episode "Nosedive"; but IIRC (in a tweet that has since been deleted) MacFarlane averred that he'd written "Majority Rule" "a year and a half" before it aired (thus he wrote it before "Nosedive" aired). He noted that he had taken inspiration from a book). — The social-rating aspects of these episodes have also been compared to a 2014 episode of Community titled "App Development and Condiments"; but I'm not going to sympathize with accusers who fall back on that after being wrong about the alleged Nosedive "ripoff".
Wiz Kids on Amazon has a “starter set” with 8 action figures and cards for each figure. Not the best quality but the price isn’t too bad. WizKids Orville Starter Set
A MacFarlane tweet, dated IIRC on the airdate of "Majority Rule", said he wrote the episode "a year and a half" before it aired (so, about six months before Black Mirror "Nosedive" aired).
(In the tweet he also noted that he had been "inspired" by a Jon Ronson book, "So You've Been Publicly Shamed".)
In past discussions I've given a link to that tweet for reference; but apparently Seth may have recently mass-deleted many of his old tweets, so that tweet is now gone.
Note:
Even before "Majority Rule" and "Nosedive", a comparable theme was previously presented in a Community episode, "App Development and Condiments", that aired in March 2014.

I have lasers that do this kind of effect. They're low powered but they're lasers. This one's $120 on amazon https://www.amazon.ca/SUNY-Combinations-Projector-Decoration-Activated/dp/B01EYKXQ5M/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&qid=1550994623&sr=8-19&keywords=laser+projector
Plus, the one I have I bought 5 years ago for $30 and has a sweeping line mode that does same effect as on the show...but youre right..theyre not that bright in daylight or indoor lighting, but with the magic of camera work and exposure, this effect is most definitely a half practical (laser on set) and half embellishment by CGI
So yeah, youre right... in a daylight setting those lasers are not that bright, but I believe they filmed in near darkness and used camera trickery to make it seem brighter.
I wish the producers would just comment here and explain. "EXPLAIN!!!!" <-- Dalek voice.
Can someone confirm whether or not this is the real/correct comic book on Amazon? Thanks!
there used to be a hot potato game that might be an interesting base concept to copy. You started the game, passed the hot potato around and at some point it would give you a mild shock (it had contact points all over it and it was pretty tough to hold it without contacting more then one point)
Thought I should look around online for it, found something like what I remember:: Amazon link
The torrent is free, but you need to use a proxy service. I'd go with IPVanish. Use qbittorrent. Then go to ublockit dot red. That site actually has streaming sites on it too, but be sure to use a good popup blocker.

One step closer to getting with Commander Kelly. Looking for Darulio's/Rob Lowes/blue guys pheromones on Amazon. They do carry everything, right?
FWIW, I found having the dial on the wrong side annoying, but did find another app -- Button Launcher -- that lets me rebind the button. I'll now accidentally open my agenda when bending my wrist, which is much less annoying.
I live in the USA and I always use Private Internet Access VPN to try to prevent everyone from tracking me, and I don't have any issues with Prime video so far. Your situation is different than mine because you would completely loose access to the videos that you paid for if Amazon started blocking VPN. I only bought the season on Prime video so I can watch the episodes right after they air and I will buy the season again on DVD when it's released.
I should also mention that Netflix block video streaming with Private Internet Access.

Incidentally, I'm seeing the price reported by Amazon as US$16.97, which is only 17.6% (not 29%) less than the regular Amazon price of US$19.96.
29% off would be US$14.17. Anyone here see it for that?

>The Planetary Union isn't a superpower,
How can you assert that PU isn't a superpower? Granted, we know very little about its history, system of governance, aliens who are its members (except for the Moclans and Xenayans) and enemies (except for the Krill), etc, but IMHO an intergallactic UN organization mirroring the UFP, which has 3,000+ starships, including dozens of heavy cruisers, is going to be a superpower within the galaxy it's located.
That's one complaint about the show, we know little about the world around the Orville and its history apart from the ship and its crew. Let's hope some of this info can be obtained on this book, a must read for fans while waiting for Season 2: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1785657615/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I10WV1XTQN7U02&colid=A1ZVBC6CGI88&psc=0
I don't know if this is official, but it looks cool.
While certainly not ideal, can you buy it on Amazon in the EU? I'm still considering that option myself (it might become a Christmas present for me), but it is one way to send money to Seth and to watch it legally.
Trust me to say that those sales will influence a decision as to if Fox will renew the series or not... and you get to watch commercial free too!
