Hey man! I just downloaded your album! it sounds fantastic. I was only able to pay 3 bucks for it because well, college and money never go hand in hand, but as an extra part of my payment here you go, have my EP for free in hopes you enjoy it.

I Love it! Can you please share or even just pm me, what vsts you've used, what DAW or even the process, i mean if you listen to some of my stuff https://soundcloud.com/simon-weaver
its clear im not getting that big symphonic sound you are!
I like your stuff Cult of the Snorlax is my favorite track so far its got a cool dystopian vibe to me. I've tried to go for a similar dystopian soundscapey vibe check it out if you want https://hearthis.at/shuhari/.
All good, the strings I’m talking about are those that are hanging off the top of the guitar like cat whiskers.
If you get something like this, you can trim those, and it will help with changing strings (winding the tuners) as well:

Also it’s *capo.
Come on over to /r/guitar. There’s plenty to learn and a lifetime of improvement to make!
https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard There you go. Note that I'm pretty shit at writing and reviewing, so if you wanna write stuff for me occasionally i'd greatly appreciate that man. Not trying to sound demanding. If you don't wanna you don't gotta.
You can mix with these headphones:
When you have no monitors (I have Yamaha HS8 monitors) or an audio interface (I have a Focusrite 2i2) then these headphones are a great option. I do all my early mixing with these headphones and then for the final mix I will switch on my monitors.
My monitors cost £300 second-hand and my audio interface £120. It is a lot of money but you can buy the interface and headphones first and that will be enough to take your mixes to the next level.
Hey guys,
This is my friends band, based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. They've got such a unique style and an incredible sound. I'm not sure the best venue to promote this on reddit, so I'm gonna try it here, for a smaller more focused subreddit.
If you like their music and you want to hear more, they're funding their record on kickstarter and they asked me to help them out.
Check out their facebook too, these are some super talented guys and they've got a lot of good music to put out, I'd love to see the reddit community help!
Thanks!
I dig this, he's a good MC!
I host a hip hop competition and sign ups are still open for this years. You should point your friend to CLABTRAP, I think he would do well in the MC Knock Out battles. Over $750 in prizes!
Hi.. i really liked your feedback on my last song. Have you checked this out yet? "CHILDREN OF THE GHETTO Dub Mix" Elliston Stone 🙌 - http://www.reverbnation.com/open_graph/song/30028990. Your feedback is appreciated as always. Respect Cheers Elliston
With Logic Pro X it is super easy actually. Here is the page on the apple site talking about the new feature.

When you go to add the track you just click the new drummer track option and it brings up the window for adding in the style of drummer you what and you can either set up each loop before hand or record it on the fly as well. Its a really great tool for developing songs especially if you either suck at drums or dont have access to them anyway.
Hi there! I'm a Singer/Songwriter in a 3 piece Indie Rock/Alternative band called Ecstatic Wave, and would love for any of our songs to be promoted. We have several songs available for free download at the following link: http://www.reverbnation.com/ecstaticwave
Hi!
Oooh, these are some good bones. Great vocal tone, love it. Could use some annunciation work, and the volume seems to change, like you're moving away from the mic sometimes. Good mic technique will fix a lot of that problem.
Sampling is hard to do well. I think the samples here fall a bit short, especially that sample that's supposed to sound like some kind of horn or something (?)
The mix in the chorus is odd. I'm not a big fan of the backup vocals. They probably need some tuning and probably should be brought a bit more forward if they're going to work at all. Having them barely there is worse than not having them there at all, probably, and in the context of the mix it sounds like you're not sure about having them. When in doubt, take them out.
The mix sounds a bit like karaoke at times - vocals super-forward and not blended well with the mix. This is partly because the backup vocals don't blend well with the primary and because that horn thing sounds like something you'd hear on a sampled karaoke track. The drums are weak and almost silent a lot of the time. They need to be brought in with some body to make the track really pop.
You really remind me of Casey Frazier, a guy who plays locally in my area. This song reminds me of this track in particular. I think you can take some notes from the mix here.
I hope that helps! :)
doesn't it feel terrible? but it's hard to take the time out to listen to other people's music on here. i'm glad you did for me though, and i'm really glad i did for you haha. it's much easier to appreciate people's music though in a setting like this, that's why i wanted people to respond with their music too (although one of the guys who commented didn't feel the same way.)
and i'm pretty relieved that you enjoyed and would even hum the sailing song. it's probably just a little too long. but you and a few other folks are right, track order, and adding another section, like a bridge or something, really anything, would be good. i'm not a very good singer so belting things out is pretty hard to do. but, now that you've said it, i can always give it a try. like you said, the songs are really subdued and soft- i've never been one to write a rock song- don't let me see you again is about as rocking as it gets. but i'm really happy you took time out to listen to this. here's a few more that i'm prouder of, which are a little older, and not an album, but just a mix of stuff, if you're interested and can stand any more of my whining: here you go thanks again. record some more too!
You on a computer? or like a mobile phone? here’s a free DAW that will allow you to change levels and all that add effects. ( https://itsfoss.com/lmms/) There’s also an online one called Bandlab that is basicaly the same thing but on a web browser and you can add instruments from their website etc. ( https://www.bandlab.com/ )

This is my first time playing with flat.io , and it's pretty decent. This is a track I intend to actually record at some point, but I figured I'd get it written out before I set up mics and stuff.
As of the time I posted this, this is just the A part.
This track is also up on other streaming platforms like Soundcloud, Audius, etc. Any feedback and suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated!
I go by Shuhari in the music world and I make various flavors of electronic music, I couldn't decide which two of my recent tracks I would like to share with you guys so here's two of the one's I think are the best.
It's hearthis.at, but it's still me: https://hearthis.at/a-just-machine/
Older tracks were imported from Soundcloud, and are horribly compressed. I have the originals, and just have to stop being lazy about updating it all :)
Yeah, it's super cool. good mix of effects. I'll keep an eye out for your new song!
Thank you. I record vocals with this setup through Focusrite's Saffire 6. I use Cakewalk's Sonar for a DAW. From there, it's just plugins. I happened upon some Waves plugins that I've become really comfortable with using, though admittedly I'm a preset fiend. My chain usually looks something like De-Esser, Comp, EQ, Reverb. I double track nearly everything, usually with some stereo separation. Recently I've been playing around with sending all my chorus vocals to a stereo bus with octave effects, then reverbing the shit out of it and using MS techniques to really push the sound around and fill out a song.
But I mean, YouTube tutorials, endless experimentation, etc. I learn new shit every time I try to mix - it's equally inspiring and infuriating haha.
Looks like it's available for download. Let me know if it crashes or the buttons don't work or something's misspelled or whatever.
