It is a joy! Now - read up a bit on 'dry brushing' as well as other techniques to exfoliate. You have to, or those dreaded ingrown hairs will show up and they're very annoying - they turn something sexy into something not so sexy.
Dry brushing is simply using a body brush on your legs - you brush *against* the direction of hair growth, which is 'up' from the knees down, and also 'up' on the front of your upper legs. The back of your upper legs is trickier and it might be easier to use an exfoliant like a bath scrub (like one with coffee grounds and such). If you want legs that stay smooth and sexy - exfoliating is key!
Last - I don't know if you used a razor however, razor's sure can be harsh on the skin. I really love this device: https://smile.amazon.com/Finishing-Touch-Flawless-Womens-Remover/dp/B076FYCXMQ/
I just run that device over my legs every or every-other day and it maintains them just fine - I rarely touch my legs with a razor.
You have much euphoria ahead of you to discover! Good luck. :)
A couple thoughts:
-If you haven't already, I would definitely ask in a delicate way what language she prefers for her genitals / chest. For some trans femme ppl, dick or girldick is totally fine, others prefer clit, and some others may use junk or something else. Same goes for chest vs breasts vs boobs vs whatever. It's always best to ask, politely, before you're in a circumstance where you might say something that triggers dysphoria and kills the mood. This can also be a great way to ease into a more general conversation about likes/dislikes
-Even after these conversations, I would still check-in like the day that any kind of sexual activity is happening, just to see what her feelings are on that day. I know for me, some days I love for someone to touch / play with my chest, other days it makes me feel really dysphoric, so I always appreciate someone doing a quick check-in before getting down to it.
-This should be standard for all sex regardless of gender / genitals, but make sure you ask for verbal consent before touching or going down on her!
-Finally Fucking Trans Women is a zine with lots of great thoughts / ideas / advice on sex with trans women, I'd check it out if you are looking for ideas https://www.amazon.com/Fucking-Trans-Women-FTW-1/dp/1492128937
My parents did the same thing. I had come out to them once before and then went back in the closet then came out to them again and then went public and full time within 2 months and I didn’t tell them beforehand that I was going to come out. Their response? “Well you should have told us so we could prepare people that we know”
It’s not their transition and they don’t need to prepare anyone. They are emotionally immature parents and you should read a book called:
Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: How to Heal from Distant, Rejecting, or Self-Involved Parents https://www.amazon.com/dp/1626251703/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_z0hVCb2KZADP3
It’s a really good read and will help you learn how to deal with them.
What I use for swimming, rest of the time I use a good gaff
Really depends on what you're looking for. Amazon doesn't really have a good selection of ears. It's pretty much limited to 2d ones that don't look anywhere close to an ear. As far as I know, the best pair on there is this one. But if you'd like some more quality ears check out Kitten's Playpen. Just a warning though, there is a small selection of lewd things on that website, but the vast majority is tame.
I'd say at least daily - and it's best to do *before* you get into the shower. And not wet - it's a dry thing, no water involved.
More than once a day is okay too - but I'd say at least once as part of daily maintenance. Again it's the back of the upper legs that's the tricky part (for me at least).
Having smooth sexy legs every day - yeah, it's a wonderful thing. :)
Edit: this is my fav brush (I like its wide head) but anyone like it should work: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00INXSOY0
If you're into the far left, Raddle is an alright replacement for Reddit. They ban transphobes and the like pretty instantly there since they have a no hate speech policy and aren't that big of a community.
Try a loofa. I (cis m) recently started shaving my legs, and have terrible skin, these have saved me.
Laser Hair Removal Treatments at Hair To Bare (Up to 85% Off). Five Options Available.

This is the first result when I search laser.
So my main recommendation was going to be "To Reach Without", as that one is amazing (although somewhat soul-destroying to contemplate what my life would have been like if fics like it had existed in the mid-2000s). I see you've already been recommended it.
In case you haven't already read it- it's well worth the read. The fictional therapist in it is more effective than most therapists. The characterization is amazing. I'm kind of devastated that the story was orphaned.
There's a few more smut fics I'm trying to find, but it'll take some time to look up since I usually bing-read and then don't bookmark.
Depends, really - if it were something clunky, it'd be even worse than now. But something along the lines of HRP-4C? Let's get to it. :D And that's from five or so years ago - what will the state of humanoid robotics be like maybe just ten years from now?
As an aside, you might enjoy this tale I found on DA: Repossessed, by demurePet. It doesn't feature post-TF dysphoria, so much as latent pre-TF desires. The process is fairly gradual - and well written, with resigned, snarky banter between the subject and AI - letting the reader place themselves in that position all the more readily.
I use an epilator for arms and legs which for me are the primary places on my body I grow hair (other than the obvious). I have had this one for going on 5 years now and it works well. I just used it a couple days ago and I still feel really smooth whereas I'd be feeling the prickles if I had shaved. Just make sure whatever method you use you're exfoliating your skin to avoid ingrowns.
Going to offer controversial advice and say you should get an epilator for your legs. It yanks the hairs out instead of shaving them so it lasts longer, it grows back thinner, and after the first couple/few times you get used to the pinchy feeling. I have this one and it's been going strong for 4 years.
I’m non-binary but this is the “binder” that I use and it works really well for my chest!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S7PKPQR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_ReF7NP6wILp7h
I’m 5’8 and roughly 160 pounds, and the medium is the perfect size for me. I have a small as well which has better compression, but isn’t as comfortable long term.
I still wouldn’t recommend wearing it for more than 8 hours, and I don’t really know if there are any specific concerns or risks you might have as a trans woman, but I hope that helps!
Chill. People have lives. This is the machine I used.
i'm telling you if you wear a dress to this dance, you will be so happy you do. just tell people that you're it was a dare, or you're just experimenting, or its for a charity event that one of your teachers have roped you into participating in. just any excuse to wear a dress. i'm telling it will be worth it i promise

but if youre set on finding a feminine suit type thing, then womens suits will be a fine compromise. something like this
I third the safety razor :) When I started to shave every day after coming out I switched to this kind very fast, because it's so much cheaper than branded multiblade packs and gives me much better control. Using this one specifically: https://www.amazon.com/Bevel-Safety-Razor/dp/B01LQ95IGE
And if you don't have a power outlet in your bathroom, you can always get an electric clipper that operates on a battery and doesn't need to be plugged all the time, just for charging.
Press-ons are what you're asking about - the ones that use glue are good for 2 to 4 days, the ones with gel pads can be good for 4 to 7 days. I like the gel pad ones because the gel easily peels of the nails whereas the liquid glue leaves a gross residue that I can't take off even though it allegedly comes off with acetone/nail polish remover.
>Astra Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades ,100 Count (Pack of 1)
When you first buy a safety razor, most companies sell a variety pack of blades. This means you can hopefully find the best one for you.
I bought the Parker Variant Adjustable Safety Razor. Oddly, I haven't yet found a good blade for my face & neck but I can happily shave armpits and genitals without a single cut or patch of razor burn.
Anything stainless steel that won't rust. You buy the handle bit once, and id suggest a box of 100 blades. Swap the blade once or twice a week. A LOT cheaper overall than buying branded disposable razors. Here's just one example I found online
WEISHI Safety Razor Double Edge Nostalgic Long Handle Butterfly Open Razor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PKHIDRA/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_21QT71X59K8RVSGH0E5C
Spiro gave me all the benefits like weight gain, lack of breast development, and frequent urination, and fucked with my potassium levels. Basically no benefits, and didn't even suppress my T production.
Have you ever considered an epilator? its basically 20 pairs of tweezers that tweeze long hairs like leg hairs and the like.
Just my two cents, I work as a swim coach rn and generally don't bother with tucking. I bought a pair of drag shorts that I wear over my one-piece swimsuit. This is a super common addition for men and women who swim. Another thing I've seen posted a lot is bikini bottoms with a small skirt, this also covers things pretty well.
Generic Amazon Drag Shorts Link: Amazon Drag Shorts
They are marked as either men's or women's, I personally can't tell the difference, pretty sure it's just pointless gendering.
Check out Vital Proteins! I have zero scientific proof that these work, but I’ve been using these for close to a year and it definitely seems like they do! My nails also have gotten a bit stronger and faster:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073X56SDC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I will warn you the capsules are a touch on the larger side, and you have to take two, but they really aren’t bad once you get used to it! Good luck!
Ways you can take control if your parents are actively fighting:
Clothes:
Scissors can be taken to most of your clothes to feminize them. Turn circle necks into V necks, cut a horizontal strip almost off the front of a shirt and back of shirt to give ties and then remove sleeves to turn it into a tiable crop top. Pants and shorts could be turned into daisy dukes. You can feminize all your clothes and render them unable to do anything.
Hair:
A lot of short masculine hairdos can be turned into a shorter feminine pixie cut. And if they threaten to shave you bald, a sewing needle and ink can painstakingly be used to start a DIY stylized braid tattoo that you might see on an inmate in a woman's prison (two statements for the price of one) and they're NOT getting rid of a tattoo any time soon.
HRT:
Since they're obviously going to get in the way of any doctor or psych getting you HRT, there's an herbal alternataive (not as effective, but can work while waiting for the chance to get on the legit stuff), and it doesn't even require a doctor's permission (you'll have to take higher than the recommended dose):

https://www.amazon.com/Progesterone-Bioidentical-Bio-Identical-Progesterone-Paraben-Free/dp/B00EB0AQA4 <--- Substitute for Estrogen
Community:
If you can find a fellow trans person in your area who has accepting parents (or is on their own), you might be able to convince them to let you store feminine clothes, wig, & makeup at their place. If you do, never reveal to your parents where they live or who they are.
Makeup:
Lots of foods are staining. This means they can be used as temporary skin dies to do makeup that your parents can't remove.
If they think they've broken you, prove them wrong. They declared war, you win it.
Thank you so much and yes I think it’s best I just take a chainsaw to the family tree when it’s time… Might be for the best, we shall see how things progress I guess!
As for mace, I’m already legally blind, I don’t need that back drafting me and crippling me further lol I appreciate the suggestion however!
I prefer knives, I’m going to be celebrating my womanhood with two karambits with auto deploy holsters… I’m trained in Tae Kwon Do (2nd Degree Blackbelt), Brazilian Jujitsu and Filipino Martial Arts that implements karambits in close quarter situations. Knives will always be a last resort of course. I think I’ll be just fine, no sane person is coming at a girl who’s gonna be ripped from the gym workouts and suddenly pulls out two knives that look like eagle talons… ANNNNNYWHO~
I must ask! What is your dream car? Feel free to nerd out about it if you wanna~
Anyways! Thanks for the advice again I appreciate it so much!

I got these for my wife for Christmas and they were a game changer for her! Amazon has two pair for $20.
Hey, before you despair, it's totally possible to get a receding hairline back. I was also losing my hair and I was able to get almost all of it back after a year and new hairs are still coming in. Finasteride and minoxodil have already been mentioned in some other comments and they're really good suggestions.
I personally went with Dutasteride over Finasteride. Just in case you don't already know, a receding hairline (androgenic alopecia) is cased by DHT, DHT is converted from testosterone by an enzyme called 5-alphareductase or 5-AR, you can inhibit that enzyme (and therefore the production of DHT) with a 5-AR inhibitor like finasteride or dutasteride. Dutasteride is a Type I and II 5-AR inhibitor, but doesn't include hair loss as a on-label use in the US (it is on-label in Korea and Japan, tho) and finasteride is only a type I 5-AR inhibitor. Both work really well for stopping and reversing hairloss.
Minoxodil also works really well, I get the 6 month supply of Kirkland brand stuff from Amazon. It's not expensive and really as long as it says "5% concentration" or higher, any product should work great. I do want to give you a heads up that Minoxodil can take a little while to do anything, but it does work. Just apply it twice a day and it'll do its thing.
Hairloss sucks and I'm sorry you have to experience it. Good luck!
So, I've found myself searching for similar material as you, except I can't stand anime's art style or trope-plex all that well. /u/bipolarSamanth0r has good recomendations, but I've found myself looking at fanfiction. In particular Archive of Our Own let's you search for fics tagged "trans female character". There's a few stories in there well worth reading. If anyone's interested I'll post a couple recommendations.
A bit late to this post, but have you considered singing countertenor? With practice, many AMAB people are capable of singing the alto (or more rarely soprano) line. I used to do this myself as a way of coping with dysphoria and being "one of the girls".
A bit of background info. Sadly, the classical music world is clueless on trans issues so they make a huge deal of "it's a MAN singing like a WOMAN whaaaat". But the point is that a larger larynx can be used to sing in a feminine range.
And my favorite Christmas carol is Bethlehem Down.
I am not Christian and have not read the book, but:
Understanding Gender Dysphoria: Navigating Transgender Issues in a Changing Culture
has been recommended here before.
If Jewish thought is close enough for her, then The Torah has some interesting things to say about the Old Testament.
Well, there are shapewear camisoles or slips. There are also bodysuits like this one that have a kind of fold-open crotch (basically, one leaf of fabric over a second) that can be a bit awkward to pee with underwear, but aren't actually uncomfortable.
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling like that. I know this world can really get you down. Please stick with us.
One thing that helped me when I was thinking about ending it: I used to just put it off. I would say, "Sure, I have these thoughts about doing myself in, but not today." I would come up with an arbitrary time period, like a year. I would think, "I'll give myself a year, and then if things aren't better by then, I can reassess. But for now, I'm staying alive." And then things in my life eventually changed, and the urge to end it left me.
I also read this book and found it helpful: https://www.amazon.com/Stayed-Alive-Brain-Trying-Revised/dp/0062936387/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3FTCDLU7XEAA6&keywords=how+to+stay+alive+when+your+brain+is+trying+to+kill+you&qid=1637070562&sprefix=how+to+stay+alive+when+%2Caps%2C315&sr=8-1
You should definitely, definitely join the fediverse. It's like twitter but if twitter was good and was entirely made of lgbt people.
Let me know via PM if you want my usernam there, or if you want a site invite.
I would really not recommend discord - all the guilds I've seen turn out to be drama-filled and toxic despite the mods' best efforts, and discord as a company has massive problems too.
Yes and no.
Whats App uses Signal's Encryption Scheme and has for some time.
Are they spying on you? Probably. But not on your messages.
Still, opt for signal whenever possible.

Another possibility is avoiding exploitable text arrangement that the 19 year old working can't be reasonably expected to catch every time, such as in Virginia, where some versions of their license plate have a big "V" on the left, followed by the license plate number. That led to VAGINA
being a plate that got printed by the state. If they only allow legal names, then there's no way for someone to giggle to themselves as they tell Universal that their name is "Sauce" which would go under a big ass "HP", making their shirt "HP Sauce".
Of course, someone could actually have the name "Sauce", and I would not doubt that there's an Enby somewhere out there with that name. Knowing delightful humans with fantastic names like "Lazer" and "Knives" gives me hope that someone is named "Sauce". I don't think Universal would have thought through those situations, etc., if this is even related to my possible explanation.
I bought my parents both copies of "Transgender 101: A simple Guide to a Complex Issue", which I thought was a fair overview of what it means to be trans, some of the struggles involved, etc. Highly recommend: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0231157134/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The book your parents currently have encourages conversion therapy for trans kids and pushes conspiracy theories about trans-supportive therapists being "institutionally captured." Depending on how susceptible your parents are to this type of fearmongering, you might want to prepare for the worst case scenario. Make sure you have an exit plan if necessary and watch this video guide on how to identify and resist conversion therapists. If a therapist refuses to use your preferred name/pronouns, avoid telling them about anything you are struggling with. By refusing to respect your identity, they are not acting in good faith and shouldn't be trusted. Part of the goal of conversion therapy is to find any excuse to say that you aren't really trans by blaming other things going on in your life. If you are anxious, depressed, being bullied, tired, or have pretty much anything else that may be inconveniencing you, don't tell a non-affirmative therapist about it. They will use it as an excuse to say you aren't really trans.
Not sure if this will help, but I remember my parents getting and reading "Transgender Teen: A Handbook for Parents and Professionals Supporting Transgender and Non-Binary Teens" after I first came out to them. They became much more supportive after reading it, so I assume the book may have helped them along. If your parents are willing to look at other sources, it might be worth it to recommend that book to them.

Maybe suggest this book? It was written by actual doctors, including dr Gallagher who specializes in top surgery in miami - she does educational trans content and is a wonderful human. https://www.amazon.com/Affirmed-Inclusive-Medical-Surgical-Transition/dp/1735548804/ref=nodl_
These are the best tucking panties I have ever had. Literally better than taping. Not cheap, but very well made and will last.
Try sound preserving hearing protection like these.
My boyfriend uses them to attenuate loud noise from street fairs, etc, and still be able to hear me talk.
I use noise cancelling headphones to manage my sensitivity to upsetting noise.
Finally, never underestimate the good use of stimming like bouncing a leg, clicking a pen, etc,.
Things I found useful:
Cheap towels you wouldn’t mind getting bloody and ruining. Mattress cover. Feminine pads. Entertainment (a new video game or gift card for books) Loose comfortable clothes (like a night gown or oversized sweat pants) Frozen meals that are easy to cook. Liquid hand soap (for cleaning your dilators after every session) Loads of ibuprofen and Tylenol Large Hand mirror (to help with dilation) Hydrogen peroxide (for douching) Douche (the one that’s worked best for me: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085M9GFJC/) Disposable douches (summer’s eve - vinegar) AZO pills (for urethra pain relief while catheter is in place) Body pillow Pillow for between the legs (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RYNX8B3/) Industrial quantities of lube (check with your surgeon)
That’s all I can think of. Good luck!
Did you try a safety razor like this? https://www.amazon.com/Weishi-Nostalgic-Handle-Butterfly-Double/dp/B00PKHIDRA/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=safety+razors&qid=1632350531&sr=8-7
Blades are very cheap and it gives a closer shave. If you try it, just be careful! It is easier to cut yourself. I'm not sure what to do about razor burn, but there might be something you can do to minimize it.
Something I tried to make the contouring of that area a bit less noticeable was to wear cotton exercise shorts under my pants. I found that the little bit more compression meant that things didn't move around at all, so less dysphoria on that front to. Here's a link to what I'm roughly talking about: Women's Beachwear Athletic Cotton Shorty Shorts | Small - XL | Made in The USA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MOZUB0I/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_6PV690XZ8JXJWCWR9T13?psc=1
i personally find that tucking works best and is the easiest way to hide the bulge. i use these: Suddenly Fem Super Strong Satin Hiding Gaff Panty for Crossdressers & Transgender Women https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006VYQ1NE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NX73S6B8908DGJ39SQYB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
if she is opposed to tucking/taping then maybe really loose cut pants? that’s all i’ve got unfortunately. i think it’s pretty hard to hide without tucking but we all think we pass less than we actually do.
Two options, honestly a lot of basic underwear underwear works shockingly well, or find a gaff.
For gaffs, I recommend this one. It worked the best for me when I still had a penis.
And I’d recommend any basic cotton underwear without lace or other decorations, and specifically that is not a thong and doesn’t have a thin “bridge”. The main thing is that the underside should have space to fold around your penis.
For swimming, Tomboyx has a bikini bottom for tucking that I’d recommend you look into. I’ve never used that specific option personally, but I’ve tried Tomboyx’s other stuff and never had any complaints.
I love having my hair pulled back, and I remember the torture of that not quite long enough hair was like. This was my solution:

Not advertising or recommending any particular item, but this one had a picture that was SFW, and not trashy.
I think the label nonbinary is a safe bet when you're not certain that you fit into the boxes of "male" or "female". Often times people will identify as nonbinary and then eventually "decide" on a binary gender, but I think in the future it will be a lot more common for people to identify as nonbinary because it really just means you fall somewhere in between male and female. This book helped me figure some stuff out: https://www.amazon.com/Gender-Outlaws-Generation-Kate-Bornstein/dp/1580053084
"Gender Outlaws" https://www.amazon.com/Gender-Outlaws-Generation-Kate-Bornstein/dp/1580053084 < This book has a lot of first-hand accounts and different written pieces from trans/gender non-conforming people. It's really good and something I read a lot when I was learning about this kind of stuff.
Update: I found one for you as a good example or option!
This is a brown lace-front wig from Amazon it’s $58. Very budget friendly and realistic for the price!
You want to get something lace front so the hairs will blend to your scalp, like they have grown out of your head. The lace should go all the way around the front like this one.
I hope this helps you out cutie <3

I order my needles from [MedontheGo.com[(https://www.medonthego.com/Hypodermic-Needles_c_13709.html) and my barrels on Amazon.

Keep scouring youtube for mtf voice feminization. And definitely put the girl from trans voice lessons in a pattern to repeat her videos every week or so. I actually started understanding concepts between a couple of her vids. It takes lots of repetition and it does get fatiguing.
For hair, I use this at home IPL and it's helping my hair grow back less: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0828JD1WF
I hate the shadow on my face where dark hairs grow, so I youtube mtf make-up tips, tutorial, beginners. Red or orange over these areas helps hide the shadow.
My best suggestion would be to ditch the binders and try binding (also known as trans) tape instead. It doesn't work for me because I have too large of a chest, but maybe this will help you. I found a link to some on Amazon
I hope this can help you, best of luck
