Hey guys! We been long time lurkers of the subreddit. We wanted to share this new AR Lens we made on Snapchat! #Vaporwave inspired!
Tap to interact! Below is the link!
EDIT: Tap to interact with the lens! That's it changes to Vaporwave!
Thanks! I used 2 apps to make this composition: for pixelated effect I used Glitch! and for overlaying lasers and the retro background I used Autodesk Sketchbook .
Nope, I used two apps for Android, PicSay Pro and 8 Bit Photo Lab
I recommend buying a Raspberry Pi and having RetroPie on it, then your TV turns into a rather aesthetic retro game center!
It's easy to set up and it'll look like this with the SNES-MINI skin.
OK so look, I'm not trying to punk you or antagonize you here. I'm a multi-angle thinker who generally thinks most data is good as long as it isn't harassment so I'm really not trying to harrass you. Can't stress that enough.
So if you have a Capitalist and Utilitarianistic viewpoint I honestly think you should consider learning advertising techniques from the Cigarette Companies, Soviet/Fascist/WW2 Propaganda, and read Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics. Also generally speaking Malcom Gladwell (with a grain of salt) can help. But at the end of the day you want to understand your market.
That means understanding the consumer, and players in those market. Using Benfordian algorithmic logic you can determine the 9 core characteristics of the average Vaporwave consumer and the average NFT consumer then build a marketing strategy around that. Although it should be noted those are 2 markets that generally speaking clash but are not mutually exclusive in the most technical sense.
If you like dry analytical books to read I highly recommend https://www.amazon.com/Innovators-Dilemma-Technologies-Management-Innovation/dp/1633691780/ref=asc_df_1633691780/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312025907421&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2548483633881927141&hvpone=&hvptwo=...
Although be warned it's DRY AS THE DESERT
I made this game myself, it is free and there are no ad interruptions. Looking for feedback on the beta version and thought this community might appreciate. Art seemed like the best fit, but let me know if there is a better subreddit for vaporwave inspired games.

Details: The book is cut in half and each page are fun quotables by 2 computer systems in nostalgic reflection. One is rugged(Memphis Megahertz) and cyberpunk/spaghetti western in nature whilst the other (Kansas City Fractal) is traditional and emotional Vaporwave tech nostalgia and pre internet nostalgia stylings. Here is a free PDF "Shareware" copy of the book to take a preview at....

The Amazon link for the physical copy is here. Thank you! The Amazon product link just launched so it's not fully compiled, the book description is all there and stuff though. I literally just pressed the PUBLISH button so yeah. Cool! Any reviews would seriously and immensely help as well. Just a little background, this book was conceived inside the Vaporwave Sadplanet telegram group and slowly emerged from it with the help of others critiquing the crap out of it. Thanks!
