12 breakfasts 365 days per year is 4380 breakfasts. Lets use 10 years and 4000 breakfasts for easy numbers and days off. So 40,000 breakfasts. This similar spoon weighs 3.36 ounces. Looking at the spoons, they still have a substantial amount of wood left so lets say 2 ounces of wood was scraped into the food over the years. So 2 divided by 40000 is 0.00005 ounces per meal, or 0.0014 grams. For reference a grain of rice weighs 0.029 grams, and a grain of salt is approximately 0.00005850 grams. So my answer from before was a little high.
Got this one around 10 years ago, and it has lived on my keychain ever since, and I intend to keep it on till it falls apart.
Edit: Glad to see people enjoy this! For comparison, here's an Amazon link to a brand new one: https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Gold-2x4-Stud-Chain/dp/B00DCZSCVE
Thanks! With a little elbow grease, you can buy a $20 kit like the one I used and it'll take about 2 hours total for both headlights. It's basically a simple process of clean, a ton of sanding, then clear coat at the end. Go over patiently and take your time with it as it'll yield better results.
Just make sure you're not doing it on a rainy or windy day. :)
I don't really know. It's the main door into the room and I imagine that it's been used a lot. The former owners of the house are going to give us a binder full of the history of the house so maybe it'll mention what the original color is supposed to be. I'm going to guess that it used to be a brushed oil bronze or something, like this.

On second thought, the house has a guest unit attached with very similar door knobs that are a similar color to the one I linked.

Best ball I’ve ever owned.
Edit: That link automatically selects the intermediate size, so you’ll want to switch it to official.
To reduce wear on the strap you should look into a deployant clasp like this one
It can be added to most straps as long as you know the strap width (on your watch probably 20mm) and it will eliminate the holes from getting worn out. I think it’s much easier for a daily watch since you don’t have to fumble trying to get the pin inserted with one hand
Was she Cajun or live in the south? That looks like a roux spoon, it was designed that way
Not really sure! I bought something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Kona-Safe-Clean-Grill-Brush/dp/B01MYC1C2D/
They use metal coils, but I guess those would wear out eventually, too?
Yea! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZZ33C3/ I really do love these, and when I did have one crap out WAY earlier than expected the company replaced it no problem.
EDIT: They are heavier than your average leash and probably better for dogs 40lb+, but YMMV. I recommend using them with a harness, not a collar, too.

I wasn't a fan of the factory band so I replaced it immediately with a cheaper leather one from Amazon. The one show originally had more metal rings on it that I removed for better looks/comfort.
You just yank them off and push new ones in. They are designed to be replaced.
These are the ones that I got, although they are a bit more expensive now than they were when I got them: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CTIG4GE/
I've gotten the Rosewill RK-9000V2 and I really enjoy it without breaking the bank
The Dyson V7 Animal changed my life. I'm not a neat freak, but it's so light and easy-to-use that I do a quick vacuum almost every day. What's incredible is how much hair is captured every day---so much more than I would have estimated. And this habit has drastically reduced the amount of ambient dust that gets caught in the HVAC filter or settles on furniture. I only use the old vacuum for a handful of deep cleaning days during the year when I need full power for hours instead of minutes. Anyway, I know this sounds like a sales pitch, but I'm honestly so impressed with this tool that I wanted to share with anyone else who struggles to keep up with animal detritus.
Surely every kind of case is available for every major phone. There are more companies that make cases.
My comment can be read in a harsh tone but I didn’t mean it that way. It’s the fact that one would assume the original knife was sooo much bigger than what this is currently, but they aren’t.

These are what i currently use with a DAC plugged into my pc and then i use an EQ software to adjust even more. These aren't studio headphones and our of the box have more focus on low end frequency....but they definitely dont slack on the rest of the mids and highs. Id say the biggest weakness is mids for them but damn the bass makes up for it. The cord going in is just a regular 3.5mm so any cord will work with it. Ive had these for about 3ish years. The only thing i did was buy some fabric ear cups because the pleather original ones started to crack and fall apart. But i really like these for sure.
This particular model is great. I have been wearing these same ones for 2.5 years and they still look great. Let me say I use these for riding my motorcycle and they take quite a beating as well as wearing them almost daily to work (I work in an office so not that rough).

I've used the 3M kits before with an electric drill. They work well. Make sure you sand wet (otherwise the sandpaper clogs up) and don't electrocute yourself.
Bought em, you can probably find them cheaper somewhere else, but free two day shipping and all, I think amazon is your best bet

I found a 42 pack for $25 on Amazon. It’s “zanies moppy mouse”
here’s another photo on a different surface. but it’s the exact same case, and is this case on amazon
fyi it's my electric skateboard (esk8) and I am tracking my rides with Geo Tracker which allowed me to assure the 1800kmh on the mini board.

And if only these knobs could be removed and replaced via some type of reusable fastener… like a screw… 🤔
(I looked around but couldn’t find anything like this not from Amazon, but if anyone’s got alternatives please let me know!)
I used to have this desktop skin mouse pad thing that was very thin and adheres itself to your desk. It’s meant to work well with a laser mouse but have that weird bulky feeling that mouse pads have.
Here’s an example of one in case that interests you. There’s probably a ton of varieties from different manufacturers besides this one, just wanted to give an example in case you found it helpful
After ruining my particle board desktop for years I finally decided to try something and I bough some of this pleather tape designed for fixing holes in furniture and just put it over high wear areas of my desk, particularly any place I might put cold drinks on. Since then I have a more durable surface that might be replaceable.
My reply got buried, but for those wondering, I write coming-of-age fantasy adventure (my first book began with the classic farmboy-learns-magic-and-goes-on-a-grand-adventure trope).
Readers commonly describe it as a mix between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings (spellcraft/characterization + the adventure of LOTR). With some Eragon and perhaps Eddings thrown in. There's no cursing, no sex, and it's fairly relaxed escapist reading (readers range between ages 10 to retiree).
EDIT: link to the first book of my series in case my work is of interest to you.
You need a tube wringer, still plenty of paint left in that tube!
I have a very similar one I bought in 2007 that still works perfectly. It looks identical to yours except it has a closable front door/flap on the front (this one here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002IWC9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Great charger and it works much better than my newer Panasonic Eneloop charger.
I've dropped my phone so much but my simple id slot case has tanked it like a champ. I've dropped it on concrete, asphalt and diamond plating quite literally 100+ times, often landing face down and went more than a year before finally suffering a small barely noticable crack in the corner. Every other smartphone I've had cracked within months, regardless of case quality.
When i was still using my laptop as my main device I built up a callous on my wrist that was rubbing against the 90° edge. Shit was so thick, it's been like a year since I switched to a different set up but it's still somewhat visible
These are what I bought now I have two spares for any future mice I need to replace the switches in lol. I also went with these because free prime shipping. Digikey would have more OEM style ones and there’s upgraded ones compared to OEM but the Kalih ones are highly recommended on the internet
Yeah, just use it and this will probably mostly disappear. I like ceramabryte
https://www.amazon.ca/Cerama-Bryte-Cooktop-Cleaning-Cleaner/dp/B000MIWRTM
You can just buy the cleaner on its own, I can vouch for its effectiveness
Yes, it’s called “fantastic”. Probably cheaper to find locally but there’s only rarely ice here.
When my last wallet gave up I finally splurged and bought myself something nice. Saddleback warranty things for life, but they seem to have discontinued this design so I hope to God it actually lasts me another 50 years. Mine is in a good rich brown, not black, but same idea.
This is the one I got for my pair. best headband cover I have found yet because it has a nice little cushion to it, but it's subtle so works well with existing cushion.
M50x’s?
If so, what replacements did you get, and what cover for the headband do you have?
I got Wicked Cushions for mine and they’re fantastic.
I've had a coach sim wallet for the past 6 years. It barely looks used. You could try this one that looks similar to your current one https://www.amazon.com/COACH-Compact-Bifold-Wallet-74991/dp/B012U0BS2G/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=Coach+Mens+Leather+Wallet&qid=1634831985&rnid=2941120011&s=apparel&sr=1-7
do yourself a favour if you do work like this often, invest in a drill bit sharpener ( a company I worked for had this but there are cheaper version) or learn how to use a bench grinder to put the edge back. I preferred using the bench grinder but it takes a bit to learn how to get a decent edge.
Thanks for the offer, but I took it upon myself to replace her mitts with these

This is the one I have that was recommended to me by someone on Reddit. Expensive but it lasts for years
I ordered that one. Don’t want my upper jaw dislocated for a 3rd time.
Like one of these guys?
I just bought a house with some hedges and small plants throughout the yard, a small tool to help keep rouge branches at bay would be very useful to me
There are two main blade styles that people refer to commonly as a butcher knife. Here are two links, these are Wusthof, but there are lots of brands.
You can buy replacement sticks on Amazon for cheap and they’re pretty easy to replace. I replaced my old 360 sticks so they don’t dig into my fingers.
I got these ones last time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJSWHWQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_VT7FKH7495GPHEFYXAYR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They're not as soft and comfortable as the 1st party ones, but after of like a week of use they have softened up and are pretty comfortable now.
1 year into daily use of these $20 replacement pads and would buy again in a heartbeat.
That sounds similar to this keychain I bought myself. Juland Keyring Saftey Pin Hip Hop Chain Punk Long Metal Big Pin Keychain Wallet Belts Chain Trousers Pant Silver Pin for Men Women https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087GL7WTN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_C7JTYZM4V68FSPA08QQA
She sounds fun, you should get her a pair of these.
Side note, don't bother with these balls if you have a pitty. The one I bought lasted exactly one throw.
I got some secret sauce for you

Degrease them and coat with this.
Will remain looking new for YEARS!
I bought mine on amazon. but I believe you can find this one and other patterns/colors at Target, Barnes & Noble, your local bookstore, and wherever else you can find journals. Since having had it for five years, I’ve seen it at quite a few different retailers. The gift shop at my city’s art museum sells it.
If you're going to get a Gadsden flag, you should buy a decent one that will last much longer. I bought this one years ago and it still looks brand new. It also is two flags sewn together so both sides look correct. This was the flag that General Washington had on his flagship. I was proud to fly this when I got it but now people are associating it with hate and stupidity.
I agree they are not the best, but I have grown familiar with this blade design. https://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Paraframe-Knife-Stainless-22-48444/dp/B000JJJ2UG/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=gerber+pocket+knife+4660817c0&qid=1599621441&s=hi&sr=1-6
Just small enough for my tiny hands to apply leverage to the part of the blade I use.
It's really worth the $8 to get a key lock climbing carabiner. These don't have something that could snag when taking it off and they will last you forever, and in a pinch they are rated for climbing.

If you're willing to throw down like $50 on a grinder I would recommend a Space Case as a replacement. Splurge for the titanium one. I have had mine almost as long as you, about 12 years. This thing is awesome. Titanium is hard as fuck, I doubt this thing is breaking anytime soon. And the black coating is still in very good condition. Considering how much I use it the cost/value ratio of this thing has made it totally worth it.
*Linked to the titanium one. On amazon it's out of stock and the company website isn't responding right now. But you can get one easy with a little looking.
Depends on which size pot you have, but replacement gaskets are readily available at coffee suppliers or, of course, Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Bialetti-06601-Express-Replacement-Gaskets/dp/B000KG8FT2/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=moka+pot+replacement+gasket
If you don’t want to change the color of your leather (like with the brown polish) pick up some Blackrock Leather N Rich. It’s a cleaner and conditioner and doesn’t leave the leather feeling sticky and buffs to a nice satin finish. Love it for restoring old leather purses and on my leather boots.
Here is an amazon link If you’re doing a bunch of saddles it might be too pricey but for a lot of small stuff like wallets, watch bands, boots etc one tub lasts forever.
I got them at an online store called Huckberry, which seems not to carry them anymore. These are the Chippewa 6” Service Boot in Tan Renegade. It’s on Amazon , though more expensive now than 4 years ago (or I got a good sale!)
So unfortunately they only come in packs of 10, but here is where I got mine!
Aluminum D-ring Locking Carabiner Keychain Spring Clip Lock Carabiner Hook Outdoor Camping Equipment(10 pcs) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E3HIMRI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_-MV3BbWVQPDH6
Is this it?
I dislike pull-through sharpeners with a passion, but this one works well: https://www.amazon.com/SharpNEasy-336C-Knife-Sharpener-Orange/dp/B006PTM31O
Both course and fine are ceramic rods. I am able to get my $5 Kershaw shaving sharp.
Edit: I have the Lansky rod-guided sharpener and the SharpNEasy. I'll only pull out the Lansky when an edge is gone (wont catch on finger nail...typically girlfriend gets the kitchen knives that dull...)
The key organizer is good, keys with non-circle holes may wobble if there aren't other keys pressing against it though.
The knife however isn't that good it uses AUS8 steel which doesn't really hold an edge all that well IMO. The knife will do in a pinch but if you use a knife daily carrying a "main" knife instead would be best, the Q2's is best as a backup.
It looks a lot cooler than other offerings I've seen for a key organizer but if the design isn't your thing you can get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Key-Organizer-Practical-Multitool-Keychain/dp/B06XW4J6LK/ for far less.
Yeah, I've never had one go more than 2 year. At least up until I looked up reddit threads for good backpacks and finally began walking the righteous path.
Cool! I've had mine for 3 years I think, and it's been holding up really nicely. If you want a different style of gate, I'd suggest the Neutrino but my only thing against this (could be good or bad) is that keyrings can catch on the clip on the way out, where they can't on the Positron. A little extra precaution on keeping your keys in place and not getting lost, or a little extra hassle!
