From what I've heard this is a steam works game so it should include a key in the box somewhere. If not you can can get a pretty cheap external CD drive from Amazon. Mostly likely should have a key.

I was in Germany at the time of its release and actually bought the DVD 😅

I don't think that it has been released in North America but a little internet search revealed that the movie is also known as "Iron Nazi Vampire - The Secret of Castle Kottlitz".

It was very simple for me and i was playing earlier. I used TunnelBear but it only has limited data usage. Pre load the game first then,

1. Exit steam.
2. Change VPN to new zealand or somewhere in that time zone. Keep it running for now.
3. Start steam and download game patch.
4. Click play.
5. Disconnect from internet.
6. Close VPN program.

You can keep playing until you go back online or when it releases.

I played the uncut version in germany. You definitely need to buy the global key, but first let me explain how to properly start steam with a vpn:

On windows, while steam is launched you will have its icon on the bottom right, right click that and exit to close steam properly. Launch your vpn and connect to a server, make sure the connection is fully established and then wait ~1min for everything to sort itself out. Launch steam, you will have to login again.

Success! Steam is now being tricked by your vpn!

Now, which vpn should you pick? There are many free ones, but personally i used Astrill vpn.

Now to activate they key you have to be on vpn, but for the download itself you can use your normal connection(which is propably faster). To go back to normal steam just follow the above instructions in reverse.

After installing the game you will have to be in vpn everytime you launch, otherwise steam will stop you. Enjoy!

And if you never played Return to Castle Wolfenstein or 2009 those are a great diversion, just remember to check your graphical exceptions. For many a classic Wolf fan Return is still the best. Singularity (2010) has pretty similar gameplay and setting and borrows a few elements from BioShock.

this one is good, but i had to disable the AI modifications because they made stealth hard as balls, but the graphics upgrade is great.

this one is basically the brutal doom equivalent in RTCW, though just like that mod it strays a bit too far from vanilla, so you may want to consider it for when you revisit the game.

I got the dualpack of TNO and OB super cheap during Christmas as well. The wiki with the timelines (which I'm sure you've found) Are about the only places to see how it fits (http://wolfenstein.wikia.com/wiki/ID_Universe_timeline). It can get confusing lol. Like others have said above, I think they are cherry picking stuff they want as their canon. Pretty sure the MacOS version from Splash Damage's site no longer works on newer versions. I remember trying it a long time ago and it would just crash at launch.

You might have better luck installing and launching with ET Legacy, but last time I checked they said they didn't have anyone to test Mac builds so your mileage may vary

This benchmarking puts my FX 6100 above a "shitty" i7, but I don't think AMD procs have hyper-threading which is what they might be getting at with the i7's. The benchmark site does note that some tests may not have been performed with hyperthreading enabled.

I guess we'll find out, eh? The requirement is kind of odd in and of itself and I haven't had any problems with other modern games, so as of yet I'm not cancelling.

My mate just tried this out: get CyberGhost VPN, download it and just make a free account. Connect to whatever location you can and then open steam and you will be able to buy the game as if you were outside of Germany.

I imagine this also works if you have a foreign copy and want to activate your key in Germany. Just run the VPN everytime before you start steam. Shit works, have fun! :)

That will change your IP address through a VPN and youll be able to activate your game on Steam. (You obviously need to buy the game from outside Germany/Austria though so you have the uncensored version). GL, have fun!

Checked for file corruption? I don't know what that means, and have never heard anyone mention it. Mother board is fine for what i want.
