I mean, it's a healer UI, unit frames are kinda what's important. I don't use this setup when I play dps either :p
for the Details look you're going to need the custom texture BuiOnePixel, which is part of ElvUI Shadow & Light if you already got that installed. otherwise you can install it using something like SharedMedia.
if you want the font you're looking for Roboto Condensed Bold.
after that, you want to remove all the icons, % damage done etc, rotate the growth direction to bottom to top, make the window and menu transparent, and you're pretty much there.
Hey if you still haven't fixed it I think I have a solution. I had the exact same problem but fixed it a while ago by downloading a updated version of the aurora.lua.
Here's the lua file i'm using. : aurora.lua
Make a backup of your old one just to be safe and just replace yours with mine.
Hope that works!
Not OP, but I did manage to replicate these unit frames pretty well myself.
I made some personal changes, like coloring the health number at 66/33%, and showing spec instead of race, but you can of course tweak as you like. Keep in mind, Roboto Condensed Bold is not a built-in font, so you'll have to use LibSharedMedia or similar to add it to the game.
I'm the author of Roth UI.
Solo: http://s.cdn.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw57662.jpg
I created the UI with the intention to make a Diablo themed UI for myself back in 2008. Thus it had to use a lot of Diablo themed textures/colors. Additionally I wanted functional orbs. It would have been nearly impossible without oUF. Thank god haste wrote it. Of course the UI has evolved ever since, but the general layout concept is still the same. All the changes where mostly cosmetic.
You can check some shots from the start of the UI development back in 2008: https://www.dropbox.com/gallery/59415032/2/rothui/2008?h=b012ad
Roth UI is an artifical UI in first place but tries to keep all the important information centered. Additionally alot of information is stripped down that may only be important on specific scenarios. (I do not display the exact mana value for example)
This has some intended side effects: Roth UI is very strong for any tank/dps or while soloing on any class. Roth UI is OK when healing 5mans. Roth UI is OK for PvP. Roth UI is not so good for Arena (because you need really specialized unit frames for that) Roth UI is bad for bg/raid healing (because healers need to focus on bars and debuffs that counterfit the design)
One special thing I put a lot of time in are the orbs itself. I really wanted them to become alive and thanks to ingame models I achieved that goal.
Another big part is the config. I wrote the UI for myself in first place. Thus I did not need any ingame config or even thought about it. With the time being I started adding config files in Lua hich makes editing alot easier but still requires actually using a text editor and alot of /reload 's. That is not for everyone. ;)
I guess there's a reason he removed it from wowinterface. My best guess: His email was showing.
Anyway, here is a re-upload with his email removed! I never got it working, sadly.
This ui is great tbh, really nifty.
Just needs an option to scale the UI (not sure if that's already there or not) but yeah.
Also the talent system is fucking gorgeous: https://gyazo.com/a431c36a0ea884f3744f8c6c16eedb56
Hey, since my textures are currently drawn in 1 to 1 scale, i'm not sure if they would scale well on other resolutions, so instead of uploading .blp textures, I've composed this list of assets - figma link. You can play with them and export the sizes you need.
Feel free to use these textures to as you like and let me know if you would prefer .blp files instead.
(Border texture is custom, yes, but it behaves in same fashion as blizzard mapped texture. I've included it along with bar textures).
Gonna resay this here, the initial inspiration was from Kait's Rogue UI
The idea for me was to have as little on screen as I could while out of combat or just flying around and have as much functionality as I needed during combat. With the config options toggled it looks like a lot but it will very rarely get to be that cluttered. Even in 25 raids the part frames will be off and a grid will be in the upper right.
Again, thanks for all the help and advice given to me in my earlier thread!
here is the link for the ui
Hello. I think this is how I share it. It is hardly optimized for anything other than druid tank right now, but feel free to tweek it to your liking.
the file name is wierd, made it in a hurry.
So I managed to load the statusbar in game which is awesome. But the statusbar still has a white background even thought I added an alpha layer.
Do you think you could take a look at the .tga for me and see if something is wrong?
ahhh, frostfix is an addon i've developed by myself to solve some weakaura issues that I was having, so I don't think you will be able to find it on the net. This download should work http://www.filedropper.com/frostfix
the full name of tgcd is Trufigcd
Here is what I would do:
Get rid of the professions bar thing you have on the right side.
Get rid of the mini menu above your chat box. (I personally never use it)
Get rid of the marker bar above the mini menu and instead create shortcuts for them. I've made my markers for F1-F8 so it is faster to mark things in fights.
Move the stance bar to above or next to your pet sac bar...something of the sort so that it is closer to where your mouse typically is. I often swap presence in some fights so having it closer makes it easier.
Move the objectives to the upper left corner where your presences are now.
Lastly, its a personal thing, look at getting 'kgpanels' to make a background for all your panels at the bottom.
I'll edit this in a few minutes with a screenshot of my ui in/out of a raid combat situation.
Hi. Depends on which part of the image you are referring to.
I suspect Source Sans Pro or Noto Sans for the unit frame. Monserrat is also pretty close. Check out google fonts https://fonts.google.com/?preview.text_type=custom&preview.text=Effi%20%206854%20-%20100.0%25%20%207528%20%2058m%20%2034m%20%2026m&category=Sans+Serif
Oh yeah, that's the more complicated but much nicer way. So, blending RGB from green (0,1,0) to red (1,0,0) and at the half way point you get 0.5,0.5,0 (https://www.colorcodehex.com/808000/)
Using HSV (which takes some shinanigans in WoW as it only uses RGB so lots of conversion into and out of RGB needed) your Saturation and Value numbers stay the same but the Hue moves through the palette. So, go to this link and move the points across the top of the square: http://alloyui.com/examples/color-picker/hsv/
If you want, you could try the program Medal, it's very nice for getting short clips, and even recording if needed, it doesn't take up a lot of resources, it's free and no watermarks at all ^_^
Nope, that's definitely not true because it's not an addon just texture replacements.
If it was an addon I could edit and update it but these files don't work since Blizzard changed Mainmenubar parameters with BFA.
I would need a file like: https://files.fm/u/tuebe4597 (MainMenuBar.blp. Format)
But I dont rly work with textures/photoshop which makes it pretty annoying to deal with.
Ok i figured that one out. I've finished cutting up all the pieces, did my alpha layer and tried putting it into the game, but its not working. My image is 200x200, its a TGA file, and it has an alpha channel. IDK if im allowed to post this, tbt this is a link to the TGA image https://www.mediafire.com/?yflgb7mbr2hc539[1]
if you could, would you look over it and tell me what ive messed up on?
I'm on mobile ATM. But it should be something like this (excuse poor formatting):
Edit: give me a moment to get used to the new update to the app. It's seriously terrible. Some of the new lines aren't working because auto-format I tried to do (four spaces).
--OnClick section in custom scripts in kgpanels

Edit2: I'm never using codeblocks on mobile reddit ever again lol
You can probably still convert them into B1 B2 B3 again without any issues, I just didn't.
Also I forgot the self.text part.
Velran UI
I love my RealUI and I have no intention of changing it anytime soon, but back before I found ElvUI/TukUI, and then RealUI, I spent a lot of time tweaking my Velran UI.
So pretty.
Some screens I found via Google (not mine):

The details! discord also doubles as the plater discord, and it has several people who are extremely competent and helpful. Continuity(the person who made the castbar mod you used) is always active and answers questions there.
