Step 1. Go to https://nordvpn.com/
Step 2. Sign up for one of their plans (about 30£ a year approx)
Step 3. Install their Chrome plug in
Step 4. Turn on the plug in and set location to, lets say Spain
Step 5. Go to AVTV.
Step 6. Create an account, and put a spanish address in the address field
Step 7. Always log in AVTV with the VPN turned on and located in Spain.
Step 8. If you ever have trouble logging in. Mover away from avtv.com. go to your browser history and delete all history/cookies/cache, and then try logging back in to avtv.
that worked for me last year.
The Optus Sport option (Australia) is great. Get ExpressVPN for about 40 GBP per year then Optus Sport is about 10 GBP per year. You get all the PL games live. I watch the mini-matches (20 min or 45 min highlights) for most of the non-Villa games. The commentators are all English, like Andy Townsend, Martin Tyler etc.
All the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 games live, mini-matches, etc. I just mostly watch the weekly highlights show for those. All the Internationals, Euros, World Cup etc.
About 11 GBP/week and I'm sure you could share the cost with a friend or two given I use a mate's subscription here and never had a problem.
How to watch BBC iPlayer outside UK:
1) Download ~~Hola Better Internet~~ Zenmate addon for Chrome
2) Set UK
3) Go to
4) Refresh page if it doesn't work
5) Ta-daaaa!
Well then you are going to have to try/buy a VPN.
My recommendations would be NordVPN and/or Zenmate. In that order.
Of course, others may suit your needs as well.
It does seem strange though, as I thought content was not geo blocked any more. i.e there was just different pricing. I even paid UK price the other day. Was raging. £10. As I forgot to put my VPN on. Yeah you heard it, £10 to watch Villa lose. Just great.
Definitely not worth getting a car unless you're going to be doing a lot of other sightseeing trips. From London Euston to Villa Park can be done in les than two hours and there's only one change of train. You can use www.trainline.com to plan your trip.
I'd recommend coming in spring as it's the best chance of good weather although you may find it cheaper in September/October and the weather won't be too bad.
I use a VPN called TorGuard which allows me to spoof myself as inside the UK when I am watching BBC iPlayer etc.
I think I pay about 15USD every 6 months, and then I pay about 3USD a month for a dedicated UK IP address which only I have access to - ergo BBC, Netflix etc doesn't pick it up as a VPN because I am the only account using it rather than multiple accounts using the same IP and tipping them off it's a VPN.
I do not know if they sell dedicated IP addresses within Canada or whether their regular, non-dedicated IP addresses which any subscriber can use would work with DAZN.
I do however know they have an Android app.
NordVPN is another provider I have heard good things about but I have never used myself.
If you do decide to have a look at TorGuard I would recommend speaking to their live chat team and asking what discounts they can provide and if they do static/dedicated IPs within Canada (can't remember which term they use). If they did provide a single Canadian IP address that only you can use you may be able to spoof being in Canada but I obviously would not recommend it.

If you have an android phone this app is pretty good for games
I watched the pre season games on it.
Surely it will have the league games also (I only downloaded it during the pre season)
This should help, the squad that played last in the Liverpool game is our strongest team, here is that team with positions.

Mate, don't be put off by the tech. Get ExpressVPN and sign up for Optus Sport in Australia. For about 10 quid a month you get every game, english commentary (Andy Townsend etc.).
You get all the preview shows, I only watch the one with Ian Wright. I watch the Full Villa game every week, then I might watch the Mega Mini (45min highlights) for a couple of the other big games, then the 22min Mini-Match for the other games. Then I'll watch Villa highlights again later in the week.
You could split that between a few mates too. Basically costs nothing and no dicking about with choppy streams.
I would get a VPN (ExpressVPN works well for me), set it to Australia and get Optus Sports ().
For about 7GBP/month you get every single EPL and CL game. I use a mate's so I'm sure you could share the subscription with a few mates over there too. The quality is 720P and the commentary is taken from the UK. There's punditry shows too and the mini-matches (25 min) highlights of the games you're not super interested in are great.
With a couple of mates, you could be watching everything for less than a fiver/month.
There are browsers like Opera with built in VPNs and there are extensions as well like NordVPN that can show your browser session as being from X country. Give that a shot. I don't recommend it on your main browser, nor will it be secure like a real VPN, but for one steam it shouldn't be an issue.
there is this....
edit: i see its not online - so you might have to get the BBC Radio app and go through there (again, with Zenmate activated)
My biggest detractor for him is poor distribution. But even then that's more of "he's not a vital asset in upstarting our offense" than it is "he's a complete and utter liability." We're not the type of team to thrive off of rhythm and dominating possession.
And that study was part of this book, which I highly enjoyed: http://www.amazon.com/The-Numbers-Game-Everything-Soccer/dp/0143124560
