I just spent 60 seconds reading WebMD, so I am now a reddit expert.
Basically the article said that if you weren't obese for very long the skin is more likely to not leave folds. But some of it is just genetic too. The impression I got was that if the skin was sufficiently elastic it would've done its snapping back during the weight loss process. So whatever extra skin he has now isn't likely to go away without surgery.
I made an android app that generates those ridiculous cooking related phrases to use as post titles.
Alright boyos, tomorrow or tonight I will have completed one of the few challenges I set up for 2016. I read 24 books this year, two per month.
Here is the list of the books I read:
JRR Tolkien - The Return of the King
George Orwell - Animal Farm
Aldous Huxley - Brave New World
George Orwell - 1984
Paul Sobol - Je me souviens d'Auschwitz (I remember Auschwitz)
Javier Cercas - La velocidad de la luz (The Speed of Light)
William Goldling - Lord of the Flies
Ernest Hemingway - The Old Man and the Sea
Alan Moore - V For Vendetta
JD Salinger - The Catcher in the Rye
Nikolaus Wachsmann - KL: A History of the Nazi Concentration Camps
Martin Gray - Au nom de tous les miens (For Those I Loved)
Beowulf - A Verse Translation
Albert Camus - La peste (The Plague)
Robert Louis Stevenson - The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Other Tales of Terror
JK Rowling - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Gabriel García Márquez - Cien años de soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude)
Anthony Burgess - A Clockwork Orange
Cormac McCarthy - The Road
Sun Tzu - L'art de la guerre (The Art of War)
Kurt Vonnegut - Slaughterhouse Five
Ernest Hemingway - A Farewell to Arms
Ernest Hemingway - For Whom the Bell Tolls
James Joyce - Dubliners
Really glad to have (almost) completed this challenge. Looking at this past year I noticed that I read much more books in English than French (my mother tongue). Next year I'll try to read a bit more in Spanish too, two is not enough.
If you have some recommendation, don't hesitate to fire away. What did you read this year ?
Just released a small app with a bunch of calculators I often use (calorie intake, bodyfat, BMI etc). It's completely free and contains no ads.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shalskar.fitnesscalculator
Hope you guys find it useful. If you have any suggestions feedback, feel free to let me know!
Hey everyone, I'm doing a research paper for my composition class and I need to collect some data via surveys. It would be really awesome if you'd be willing to take a few minutes to fill it out. Thanks! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YQZ7WPB
Edit: oh my goodness! This freaking blew up. Thank you all very very much for your replies. I really appreciate it. :)
Edit2: Here are the results: https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-PHK63M9W/
For all 5 people who have android and are running Nsuns 5/3/1 I made a simple app for it. Here's the link to the play store if anyone is interested in checking it out. It's free with no ads cause it's my first app and probably not that great anyway.
I've been teaching myself programming for the past 2 - 3 months so I don't know a whole lot yet, be gentle it's my first time. My goal was to make the app simple, minimalist, and intuitive. The app is designed for those who already know how to run Nsuns. It's based off another 5/3/1 iphone app I had enjoyed in the past. Anyway, any feedback/downloads would be appreciated.
There's a few other Nsuns apps out there that are probably more feature rich so check those out and support those guys too if you don't like mine.
Ronnie got butthurt the last night after people called out the bullshit product he was pushing which is a cream to eliminate stomach and thigh fat lol... He tested it on his wife and the results were there he says then called people out since he had 8 championships, etc. Just looked bad overall even responding, hell even promoting the damn stuff looked bad.
I'm sorry, but anyone with some sort of intelligence is not believing any of that. Then again this is Instagram we're talking about...
been lifting since January, here is my progress so far 17, 82kg, 6'1 , back shot apparently this is hard to believe for some, no this isn't a joke. yes I started in january, didn't know 4 plates was such a impressive deadlift lmao.
Anyone know where to get workout shorts like those?
Edit: Found some. Thanks /u/calfmasterflex
Thanks for the link.
I bought the book on Amazon for $12 (shipped) earlier this year, but it's at $14 now. Price Fluctuation
Having a PDF of it, I can look at it on mobile without having to carry the book around.
>Personally, I think you save water and electricity by hand washing your dishes
I thought not. It's not a story the Daily Discussion Thread would tell you. It's a r/bb legend. Darth Goobueis was a Dark Lord of the Gym, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the macronutrients to create muscle mass… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from going catabolic. The dark side of the Gym is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatty. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his mod-status, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentices everything he knew, then his apprentices slipped him some cardio in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from going catabolic, but not himself.
I had to test it out so I gave him one of those claw grabbers and he was holding it like a handgun. Pretty impressed lol.
It's just wild how he's a sponge and mimics everything he sees.
I made an android app that generates those ridiculous cooking related phrases to use as post titles.
Seconded. While absolutely not the ultimate compendium of exercises it does label muscle groups with a good anatomical drawing and what exercises works what, does give suggestions on alternative grips, cautionary warnings. It is a very good book.

Forget literally every other suggestion you get. This is it bro. This is the one that will break your woman's mind and rocket her into another dimension. You know how they're always using magic wands in pornos for when they're trying to really brutalize a bitch with crazy orgasms? Yeah, those actresses aren't exaggerating. The things that a magic wand does to my woman make me wish I had a vagina. I'm convinced that I've given her more sexual pleasure in one night with this wand than I will ever receive in my entire life. Seriously bro, this is the one.
I can see this being a formula for some romantic comedies in the near future. Hollywood is going to start eating up the fitness/instagram stuff and I could totally see a movie that plays out like that.
(Picture the guy as like Zach Efron or some shit.)
Zach Efron is a player and finds dates on tinder/pua-ing.
Goes on gym dates and hooks up with them.
Does this constantly, until he meets "the one".
This girl is even fitter than he is. Total babe. (something like this)
Takes her to the gym.
He wants to do arms and shoulders.
She says fuck that, lets do deads.
Proceeds to give him pointers on his techniques and she then pulls 3x BW for a double.
He is speechless.
She takes him back to hers, already has her meals prepped ;)
They share a meal while watching Arnold classic highlights.
She mounts him. They go on the floor. (fuck beds)
Reverse cowgirl.
She is squatting up and down like a machine.
Raises one leg.
Is now pistol squatting up and down. She does 20 reps.
Then... she switches legs.
Zach nuts on the third rep.
He can't believe what is happening...
He can barely manage 5 pistols on a good day, how does she do it?
She finishes her reps and stands up.
-End of first act-
The second act is all about them creating yoga pants that fit couples kindof like this but pants. It shows their journey travelling the nation selling these pants to couples who gym together. It's a success. They get DLB and Rob to wear them. Their dreams have been answered and they disintegrate into creatine. The powder is spread over every golds gym across the world, as outlined in their will.
I said I'd go for 235x3 today and I did! Did it for three sets. I know it's nothing compared to some of the ladies here, but damn does it feel good to keep moving more weight on deadlifts.
Aiyaaaa! One more thing: I was excited to be able to do these push ups last night. Feels like I'm falling with style.
37 year old, 85-86kgs at 189cm and been lifting since i was 14. Pleased with what ive managed to build and love every workout i do.

Its going to take time to get "big" but when you do its much more impressive and athletic looking physique next to manlets.
Cons: U need shitton of muscle to look like a bodybuilder, its harder to fill out the frame. Even @235 i still look lanky and awkward.
Strenght: it really doesnt mean that much as people like to bitch about, yes you have longer arms/legs but with enough mass its not that big of a deal... most of the people that are bitching about strenght are just new in the gym/too small...
Source:6 years of lifting @6'3
I never count anything. Not even when contest prepping. I've been working out for around 5 years now. (Competed for 2 years). I always come in conditioned and lean. My metabolism works like a fucking tank engine. I can vary my meals just by looking at changes in my physique. When holding too much water and slowly gaining bellyfat I vary my carb intake just by eating less carbs in my meals.. Not counting just east less by eye. Getting too flat, raising the carbs a bit..
I also love carb loading every night. ex. My first 4 meals does not contain ANY carbs other than the carbs contains in vegetables.. I then load my evening meal with shit loads of carbs. This works insanely good for me.

This one's my fave, I always get compliments from the gym bros.
I also have one that says "party with jews" that I got from a jewish fraternity at school. It fits great but I usually get weird looks
One of the most infuriating things for me is that you can copy a meal to another day, but you can't move an entire meal. If I have something for dinner I want to be able to copy it to tomorrow and easily move it to lunch as it'll be what's in my lunch box... Moving one item at a time after copying sucks.
Also, for cutting/bulking, the app/site itself could estimate your TDEE based on your weight gained/lost contra the energy input. Quite coarse estimation, of course, but there's already an MFP export tool that does that. Why can't they make it native to MFP?
Get the black reditainers from Amazon. They hold a shit ton, stack, and hold up through the dishwasher.
20$ gets you 20 of them and I have yet to break one or find a flaw.
Reditainer - Rectangular Food Storage Containers With Lids - Microwaveable & Dishwasher Safe (38 Ounce - 6" x 8" - Package of 20) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UI3UDP6/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_h5gMvb4EMD333
Discovered something tangentially thanks to /r/buildapcsales. Some supplements are pretty cheap through Jet. I picked up 2 x 5lbs of the Arnold MP Whey for $73.11 total (using code APPLE25 from this post). That promo only works for people that have made an order on Jet before, but newcomers can use APPLE20 or 20NOW for almost as good of a discount.
They don't have ON whey, but there are several others, e.g. Isopure 7.5lb for $74.99 after discount, 10lbs of Syntha-6 for $57.74, etc. They have some other supplements too, e.g. Primaforce ZMA ($16.12 after discount for 180 caps).
Disclaimer: a few people have had really shitty experiences with Jet, though I've done 3 or 4 orders without any issues
This subreddit (or at least some people in it) are really starting to suck. Every single post these days is about whether someone is natural or not. I agree with the DeRock. These sort of comments hold the community down. Granted, the youtube video itself is clickbait and encourages trolls like thatazndude, but whether or not the guy is natural contributes NOTHING.
Here's a thought for anyone who reads this. Fucking apply yourself and stop denying your own capabilities or lack thereof because someone else worked harder. Even if someone IS taking steroids, how does that impact you, your motivation, or your focus in the gym? It shouldn't. So stop playing to this bullshit and let these meaningless conversations die.
There seems to be 3 groups of people in this subreddit. 1.) People who are new to the sport and don't know what to believe. They watch and listen and maybe continue to harvest a dream or let it be squashed by idiots in this subreddit. 2.) People who don't work hard, likely will never compete, and continue to bash everyone else for being a better bodybuilder than them attributing it to genetics or steroids. 3.) Those who have actually contest prepped and been bodybuilding for a significant amount of time who understand their own limitations and what's truly capable. (They hardly comment on shit like this, but I'll make an exception.). Attention anyone in the Number 1 category: Please stop listening to the number 2's. Don't get sucked into the sandtrap of weakminded people. Get a good bodybuilding coach and community and learn the right way.
By the way. To the guy who doesn't believe progress overtime is possible. Completely agree that it slows over time, but it doesn't mean it it becomes non-existent. Check out 3DMJ's Jeff Alberts, my coach, and mentor. http://websta.me/p/1105079716133407651_370036985
INB4 Jeff Alberts isn't natural.
Now give me my downvotes.
Bought a really nice body analyzer scale after seeing Vitruvian Physique and Jeff Nippard recommend it. It tells me I'm 11% bf, ahahahaha sure.
I'm gonna fucking marry this scale.
Height 6f1 as of today 202lbs. Routine i follow an Upperbody/Lowerbody/Off Split atm.. I find my body really grows on alot of volume! Diet is very simple just following my macro intake making sure i'm getting plenty of fibre (around 40-50g a day) and timing my carb intake before/after my workouts and slowly taper towards fats towards the end of the day! MFP is http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/Lostitnao
This study, based on several studies of both TRAINED and UNTRAINED individuals tells a different story, especially regarding MPS peak rates. It concludes that the average peak in MPS for trained individuals occurs after as little as 4 hours and rapidly falls to just above baseline. Is this why some people gain muscle and lose fat on a recomp/IF, where they time their protein and carb intake in the immidiate hours just after working out? Is this a clue to why high frequency training is so effective?

A little off season update on my back here. Things are coming in nicely! Really focusing on rear delts, traps, and overall back thickness. http://i.imgur.com/WwQpiaX.jpg
I need to update my following list on IG, hit me up on there and I'll follow back https://instagram.com/dave_1150
Edit: 6'2" 200lbs currently bulking at 2700 cals and rising. Doing a nice and slow lean bulk for the rest of this year. I refuse to lose my abs for summer.
Writing in the bottom left says GB MORPHS.
With a quick search I found a tumblr with the picture on it: http://gbmorphs.tumblr.com/
Also did an image search :https://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en and there are a few different pages with the exact same picture.
This was all I came up with, couldn't find a name.
Bros and brodettes with oily skin, hear me for I have witnessed a revelation! I've always had tons of blackheads on my nose thanks for being a hormonal fuck as a teenager and being Latino. Buy one of those $20 Blackhead Vaccuums from Amazon and you'll suck all those fuckers out. Holy shit I just got years worth of shit out of my nose and IT. FEELS. SO. GOOOOOOOD. Just make sure to do it at night because you'll bruise up your nose a little bit and you'll need to give it time to get unred.
I'd show her someone like Anllela Sagra. If she's been working at it for years and looks flawless, gf can't expect to be "huge" after a month of whatever bullshit she tries.
I feel like this company modeled their logo after him.
I ordered these for swimming and then it turns out my sack almost falls out of them on a warm day. I can't recommend them enough.
>The money is probably better spent on higher quality diet. You’ll build more actual muscle rather than just surrounding your tissue with water. $30/mo buys you steak instead of ground beef, and that’s about what you’d be spending on quality creatine.
What, no... just... what are you talking about?
First of all, creatine increases the volume of water INSIDE your muscle cells.
2nd of all here's 200 days worth of quality creatine for less than $20 https://www.amazon.com/Monohydrate-Micronized-BulkSupplements-Performance-Bodybuilding/dp/B00E9M4XEE?th=1

get more serious with your nutrition and buy a $15 food scale instead
I recommend reading the book; The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene, numerous people have reported that they don't feel depressed or (as depressed/anxious) after reading it.
Here's a link to buy it on amazon
I know y'all were on the edge of your seats for this information and I apologize for the delay.
I decided to do PPL bro splits during my cut (the other 2-3 days are MMA practice) instead of UL bro split. My work capacity is pretty low it feels like but I think it's because of my meal times.
EDIT: Also, how does this scale look
I'd also like to welcome our newest member of the 2p8 Benchpress Club: /u/stephenfish. Happy for you babe.
I'm finishing up my chest/bicep workout this morning and this HUGE, juicy black guy comes over to the weight floor, sits down on a bench...and starts curling and doing lateral raises...with, I shit you not these things for a solid 15 minutes.
My new role model.
Anyone ever had Hi-Chews before? They're basically Japanese Starburst but more chewy.
Anyways, I was playing Fortnite late last night and wasn't paying attention to anything other than the game, but when I finished I looked at the wrappers and must've eaten over a dozen of them in one sitting.
The next day shame is real.
Hey brother. I can share some of the things that worked for me in this regard, which was part of an overall program I undertook. Like bodybuilding, the results were NOT instant, but the cumulative effect has been tremendous.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I read The Feeling Good Handbook (most of it... i skipped the parts that didn't apply to me0)... and did the exercises. It was immensely helpful.
Buddhist philosophy and meditation. Buddhism is cool in that you can approach it like a buffet and only pick out the stuff you like. Mindah's channel is awesome.
Volunteering. Just a few hours a week, doing something meaningful for others. While the work I did was not glamorous, it worked magic on my spirit. There will come a time when you start to spiral into darkness, and a small voice in your head will remind you, "yea, I'm horrible, but I have done 100 (or 500) hours of service, so maybe I'm not completely useless"
I wish you the best
FitNotes. It has everything I need. Can easily be set up for any routine. Keeps historical data for all of your lifts in an easily accessible format, has a ton of built in analytics, automatic backups, can export everything to CSV, built in rest time. And it is totally free with no ads ever.
Here is the direct link the app in the Google Play Store. Feel free to ask me any questions you have on it; I have been using it daily since August so I am quite familiar with much of the functionality.

Science got done and was wrong so just because it's Harvard doesn't mean much.
At least in the WBFF, the "muscle models" are much bigger than the guys from the fitness model category. I think that most of the guys who are muscle models in the WBFF are too big to be a regular fitness model in both the WBFF and for actual modeling/magazines.
Im not sure where the line is drawn. This guy just got his WBFF pro card as a muscle model, after first trying fitness model and being told he was too big. I would assume they are judged differently/points taken off for being too big as he got his pro card as a muscle model vs. fitness model
https://www.instagram.com/p/89q_GHswlN/?taken-by=vipergq
Compare him to this guy who is a fitness model https://www.instagram.com/dannykeane/?hl=en
The short rest group increased their squat 1rm by 7.6% and the long rest increased by 15.2% I think that has real world significance. Although I'd imagine the benefit of more rest is more useful on compound exercises like squats compared to something like curls.
Costco. Normally buy 5 pound bags of ON there for less than 10 bucks per pound, but this deal recently hit;
Muscle Pharm Cookies and Cream
Bought 2 of them and plan to get 2 more before the deal expires.
This is from Andrew Loomis' book Figure Drawing for All It's Worth. It's not relevant to human beings as it is a guide to drawing an aesthetically appealing exaggerated human figure. In reality, humans are closer to 7.5 head units tall but when drawn that tends to look dumpy. This drawing has no relation to bodybuilding or personal ideals.
Hello I am conducting research for my class. I have to complete a project on bodybuilding. If you have time please help me out and answer my questions. This would be a big help. I am very interested in what you have to say! Thank you in advance.
There are two links please complete both if you would like to participate. Thanks!
Like I said. They are still a work in progress so they aren't huge by any means, but they have grown with Tom Platz hack squats and volume. Trust me. They were a lot smaller than that.
Costco sells precooked grilled chicken strips in 32oz packs. This exactly fits my lunch meal preps and it costs less than the usual chicken breast I buy at the store. So less time AND less money? I bought 10lbs worth to start.
I've disliked him ever since I saw this rant
I was reading an article on ESPN about Brandon Ingram and how he's trying to gain weight by earning 5K calories a day. This part irked me far more than it should:
>Brian St. Pierre, director of performance nutrition at Precision Nutrition, recommended that Ingram ingest eight palm-sized portions of protein per day, six to eight fist-sized portions of vegetables per day, 15-20 handfuls of carbs per day and 10-12 thumb-sized portions of fat per day.
Really? "Palm-sized" "fist-sized"? Are calorie amounts and weights in ounces/grams just impossible for people to understand?
EDIT: Here's the article, decent read: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/17194156/brandon-ingram-delicate-art-weight-gain
Also, I'm not at all an aggressive guy but when I see some guys at the gym repeatedly staring even after they know you know, I suddenly have the urge to find out what a 45-lb plate sounds like when it hits the back of a skull.
Just got it and my elbow is feeling better after one use. Pretty dope
To the bros that recommended the Muscle Alive shorts on Amazon, thank you I haven't laughed at Amazon review photo posts in a while.... also, thank you Grey Shorts Bro, but you should shave those hairy legs.

Anyone remember how pat robertson used to claim a 2000 lb leg press at age 70? Good times...
Here's him "leg pressing" "1000" pounds. (skip to the middle)

C'mon dude, that's just being lazy as fuck. You don't have to understand how bitcoin works at all. For some people it can be very confusing, I get it. But either you don't need to understand how cars work (engine and shit like that) to drive them properly. You just download some BitCoin-Wallet on your PC, pay some money into it(through ATM, via website with you credit card etc.) and voila. Please read that: https://bitcoin.org/en/getting-started
The business membership is different than if you are just using it for yourself. You need this membership if you just want it for yourself, but they should have a counter where you can sign up at the store.

Based on this one picture, I don't think his conditioning is good enough to place well. That said, it's just a single picture without ideal lighting etc etc.
Looked at a few other pictures an he looks way bigger than in the past. His arms were already the biggest on every stage and now they look even bigger.
So calipers told me that Im down to 19% body fat. I choose to believe it because if its tru it means that while losing 10% of my total body weight since August I have also gone from 29-30% body fat to 19%. In honour of that I took my first ever gym selfies. Dont mock me too bad guys. Selfie 1 and showing off my new t-shirt. Pity today was leg day so no pump to be seen. Coulda got a leg shot but share this stuff on Facebook and my friends and family think Im weird enough as it is.
Dont even talk to me about the accuracy of calipers. I know. I choose to go with it cos it makes me feel a little better.
If you're doing bench work alone, without safety bars, use dumbbells; that, or know how to do the roll of shame.
Helpful article: "How to Bench Press Safely Without a Spot"
Not sure how legit this is, but I try to do this at the end of every lifting session. I hate cardio mostly due to the boredom, but I found this goes by pretty fast since you're loathing the next HIIT segment.

To be honest you should use one app for food and one app for training.
Jefit Pro is the training and body stats app I use. The free version works just as well. Just adfree
For food tracking there are a few choices, I use "mynetdiary", myfitness used to be good but now they want $50 per year to use it with features that are free elsewhere.
There are android and iPhone apps for both and both keep your logs so you can access from a desktop on their website if you want to.
Progression if you use an android phone. I've been using progression for years. It's easy to use, and has a ton of useful features.
Like you've probably seen on there, read Models by Mark Manson. Good book and breaks down the mindset of improving yourself with practicality. I think his lessons translate well to a bodybuilding mindset. We all have dry spells bruh, but we're all going to make it
Just like in business you'd better have read 'Think and Grow Rich', or in Real Estate 'Art of the Deal', this is a standard. While the nutrition stuff is out of date, this book's worth it alone for the photos of proper form lifts, and it's heavy enough to use in a pinch as a weapon.
I've been editing my own routine for a bit. The newest iteration is here. It's very customized to shit that works for me, but you might like something in it.
Almost all sets are "rolling maximums". So basically:
I generally hit either a volume or weight PR every exercise, every week.
I bought a pair of these a year and a half ago and they're still going strong. Klipsch actually make headphones designed for the gym. They're a little pricey, but I've had them five times longer than any other pair I've owned.
Hi everyone,
I am developing a health and fitness app for my final year project at University. As part of this I am researching current health and fitness applications that are currently available in the market (e.g. Fitbit, MyFitnessPal, etc.). I’m trying to find out people’s opinions on what they like about these apps and what their pain points are.
I have created a short survey that can be found in the link below, this should take around 10 minutes to complete.
All responses are greatly appreciated.

I tried looking too but this is all I could find unfortunately. Can't wait until covid is over so the world goes back to normal and everything is in stock
I've been on a buying-organizational-shit spree. I have learned the hack that if you put shit on a tray, even if it's messy, it looks intentional and neater.
I got this countertop shelf for my bathroom and I quite like how it looks. Considering buying more for some miscellaneous future use idk.
I also got this unnecessary qtip holder because it's CUTE and that's GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. I would share the trays I got but they are similarly feminine so idk if it would be helpful but I at least wanted to share the shelf and the inspiration because I didn't think I'd care much how my bathroom looked but since quarantine I've really enjoyed making my spaces look nicer!
I used to shave but would get ingrown hairs and razor bumps like no other. I switched to trimming and it is a lot easier and faster. It's not as smooth as shaving but you can get attachments that almost get there.
Personally I use an attachment that trims the hairs and then shaves them as close as possible without irritation.
this is what I use
I'll give some counter intuitive advice. You're still "high bf" by BB standards. You can cut, lift hard, and likely still gain muscle. I went the path you did and had a few hickups with the "maybe I should bulk" mindset. If I had to do it again, I'd tell myself to stick to my cut instead of doing a few bulk phases. I'm definitely not big now, but I'm happier being cut than large.
I herniated my L5/S1 back in September. The best thing I've done for my core is forearm planks on a sissy ball. Sounds lame, but it destroys in a good way, as long as you're really aware of your body line. To take it up a notch, add movement (front to back, side to side, in circles).
Once my core was strong enough, my physio had me adding hyperextensions/reverse hypers on the ball to get some strength in my posterior chain, then eventually worked up to ball tuck/pikes.
Videos: planks/hypers, ball tuck/pike
Ayyy Mayo Clinic

Anyone has experience doing Anadrol only, 400-500mg per day? Preferably 20+ weeks like most of the studies on adrol? Just 4 science of course.
Pretty new to this but
180lb/5’8/ 20yo - 4.5 years of training
Been finding it hard to build lots of muscle as I’ve almost hit 5 years of training natural. Legs, abs, biceps all need a bit of work but let me know what you guys think and here’s one more my ig handle is the same as my Reddit username, I’ll keep it public for a week or so

I don't see why people are downvoting you for stating something true. Even science is on our side for this one. SCIENCE, PEOPLE, SCIENCE.
Not really related to bodybuilding, but I did a pistol squat challenge yesterday and it was super fun. So much so that I started dancing in my video for it. Would love to see some of y'all play with it.
"To avoid potential confounding from diet, subjects were advised to maintain their customary nutritional regimen and to avoid taking any supplements other than that provided in the course of the study. To maximize anabolism, subjects were provided with a supplement on training days containing 24g protein and 1g carbohydrate (Iso100 Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate, Dymatize Nutrition, Dallas, TX). The supplement was consumed within one hour post-exercise, as this time frame has been purported to help potentiate increases in muscle protein synthesis following a bout of RT (4). "
In this post he mentions cardiomyopathy, which literally means any disease of the heart that restricts its ability to contract. There's a few types of cardiomyopathy, but if I were to make a guess, I would say it were restrictive cardiomyopathy, or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but I'm leaning more towards restrictive. Restrictive is the resistance of the walls within the heart, because they've become stiffer due to some or numerous reasons. This means the heart can't pump blood through the body as well, because typically the heart has a lot of compliance (elasticity). Hypertrophic is the growth of the myocardium in the heart, which is actually very common in younger athletes. This means there is less room for the blood to flow throughout the heart, because the myocardium takes up a lot more room. I said I am leaning more towards restrictive, however, because there are less treatment options for restrictive cardiomyopathy, whereas with hypertrophic there are numerous treatments that could be attempted prior to a full transplant. It could very well be hypertrophic cardiomyopathy though, especially since he looks still fairly young.
Cardiomyopathies are very, very dangerous. They can lead to instantaneous death, completely out of nowhere. There have been cases where kids had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy on a football team, got hit in the chest and immediately died on the field. I highly recommend getting a check-up often, especially with some of you younger guys on here (14-25 y/o), as you may never even know you have any symptoms until its too late.

Make these now, thank me later. F-U-A-R-K I made them in 3 minutes and put em in the refrigerator grabbed one after half an hour and oh god. They taste godly. It is now my snack on low carb/keto days, but overall a great bar . Used less oats and more whey tho
As someone who also suffers from back hair, buy this. You will thank me later.
I use this one and it works very well. Only downside is it is a bit small in size, so if you put a big plate on it you can't read the numbers haha. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JTDG084/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_HV80BC3EKQYD6J9THG4P?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
arm blaster.
lifting straps (not wrist wraps).
bands (you can add these to machines, barbells, etc to add resistance at the top)

You can't save anyone else if you don't save yourself first. Strap on your oxygen mask, take a few deep breaths, then worry about your family. You're no good to them at your worst, even less so dead. Move out, get your shit together, then save who you can when you're strong enough to do so. It's hard to be objective and zoom out when you're in the shit, but it's easy as hell from here to see you need to get the fuck out.
edit: and if you do go to /r/theredpill as someone suggested, just use the self improvement reading list. The attitudes they have about women (they all cheat, they will all leave you, they will all get pregnant and divorce you to steal half your shit) are just unhealthy and not even worth reading. The book list is good though - No More Mr. Nice Guy by Glover, Models by Mark Manson are two amazing resources for someone in your shoes.
edit 2: remember Maslow's hierarchy of needs? You need to get to level 1 and 2.
