Sample appears at 5:28, 1:29, 3:21 and 0:41
Official shirts? No. Official coffee mug? Fuck yeah!
You can keep the hyberdub site bookmarked and check back every now and then, most merch you find from small labels are all limited releases. When they run out, instead of restocking they just make something new; rinse and repeat. You might find a burial tee at some point, but I bough a hoodie off teespring pretty recently and it looks great (apparently it's only available for another 12 hrs). I doubt Will makes any money off it at all, but it's either that or none. If an official shirt ever pops up, I'll make sure I buy it asap.
Wow man! Insane find! The voice sample in Loner it's very quiet, I barely heard in my several listening of the track. Good ear!
The sound in Fostercare, according to a Youtube user, it could be a chime reversed and pitched down, with a lot of reeverb. I'm sure I heard that sound also on Prison Break, the tv series, maybe it's a common effect used in film and tv series as a transition in certain moments.
Speaking about samples, today I've came across this, didn't noticed before! Insane find. http://www.whosampled.com/sample/288152/Burial-Rival-Dealer-FashionTelevision-What-Fashion-Is-About/
You're right. But I have something to say: I submitted this long ago on Whosampled: http://www.whosampled.com/sample/357209/Burial-In-McDonalds-David-Julyan-Blonde/
So I don't know if I'm right, I think other people here have found that David Julyan sample.
One more sample find in Temple Sleeper I came across reading a comment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/burial/comments/2tb0cs/burial_temple_sleeper_full/
I guess it was just missed at the time. The "find us" sample is also likely taken from the same film, but it's definitely not from the same scene.
Yeah totally, just check Burial out on WhoSampled. You'll find quite a few random chicks singing acapella covers and stuff just from YouTube.
Here's an example from Homeless. This one is particularly impressive because the sound is so bad in the first place and he managed to blend it in pretty well and disguise the mp3-ness I think.
Burial uses samples from pretty much everywhere (from his brother's lighter to MGS) so it's pretty hard to tie every single one down. If you read interviews with him or blog posts on his music you'll find tidbits which might help you out. Otherwise, WhoSampled is a good resource, hopefully you'll be able to find what you're looking for. http://www.whosampled.com/Burial/
Soundcloud utilises 64 kbps using the OPUS codec which is suppose to deliver better quality than the 128 kbps bitrate MP3 codec they previously used. It’s unclear what Mixcloud’s bitrate is but it’s rumoured to be 192 kbps MP3. These services might also lower bitrate further if you’re playing from the mobile app. It’s worth noting that you can’t make direct comparisons between bitrates of different codecs. E.g. 128 kbps MP3 != 128 kbps OPUS or 128 kbps AAC in terms of quality.
YouTube 1080p and 720p are 192 kbps bitrate encoded in AAC. AAC should deliver better quality at 192 kbps than an MP3 of the same bitrate but as you pointed out copyright issues prevent you from playing it on YouTube. You could try a proxy or VPN and using that to stream to make it seem you’re connecting from another country that does not block it due to copyright. Windscribe is a good free VPN service with browser plugin and mobile client.
You should download the FLAC for the true lossless listening experience as the whole mix was created using lossless recordings. Most average people without (semi-)high quality music equipment and/or a trained ear start having a harder time to distinguish quality differences above 192 kbps MP3. Some “inexperienced” listeners even find it hard to distinguish between 128 kbps and 192 kbps MP3’s.
I understand the title of the mix might be inaccurate when using streaming service but it’s the name I chose before sharing it on streaming services and the reason I included the FLAC download in the descriptions. Changing it now will make it harder to find and make it confusing for people who saved it on the sites. I already changed the name on YouTube somewhat but Lossless is one of the key identifying words I rather not drop after this much time has passed.
I love the Fabric mix it's a shame it isn't on Spotify. You might be familiar with it already but Shackleton's 'Farewell To Mary Anne Mix' BBC Radio1 on Mixcloud is the closest I've gotten to hearing him perform live. You might also enjoy Pole's Boiler Room Set.
Ehy guys, probably another sample again from "Versus". In the beginning there is a fx, some sort of distant sound heavily processed. It really sounds like the famous sample "Ufo", by Esg, in the first seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9ikatomf6g
Confirmed: http://www.whosampled.com/sample/391251/Burial-Versus-ESG-UFO/
Not sure if The Dream sampled it, but the "my love... my love, my love" sample is from the end of this song (Bitty McLean & The Supersonics - My One and Only Love) .
Edit: as OP mentioned above. Like a breath of fresh air when you hear some of the original samples for the first time.
You're sure about that? My internet sluething turned up:

Seems like he plays live shows every so often, unless this is a different burial?
you can "test" a book on Amazon. Just a few pages are missing inbetween occasionally. There are 2 chapters where he's talking about Burial actually. (Page 98 - 111) In this case 4 pages are missing from 14, so 10 full pages left to read for free. You just need to make a free account. takes 1 minute. http://www.amazon.de/Ghosts-My-Life-Mark-Fisher/dp/1780992262/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1431957077&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=mark+fisher+ghosts+of+my+life#reader_1780992262
