If you want to try another avenue to get this working, you can download an IRC client and connect through that. My client of choice is HydraIRC. Make your user identity be your UStream user name. The URI for the chat server is IRC://chat1.ustream.tv and set your password as your UStream password. When you connect, type /join #day9tv and voila, the chat window will pop up.

Tell me, have you heard of AutoPager?

There are similar extensions for the other browsers as well--makes reading on the web a bit easier.

Awesome. I could definitely see this being used with some cleanup. Comments:

• White boxes -> Maybe the dark grey we have on https://day9.tv/d/b/
• Doesn't work in night mode (RES)
• Header banner shouldn't wrap.
• Header banner might work better with a different layout. Semi-opaque 'hot/new' bar over it seems odd.

Its a setting on most newer TVs from what I can tell. I use a relatively cheap $200 Vizio 40” LCD TV for my computer monitor from 2017 and it’s sound leveling actually works quite well. Like all things, it’s not perfect, but it has worked well for me.

I just got a pair of 448s today. They're pretty good, unfortunately they don't really sit around the ear the way the 555s do. They are a closed design and do a great job of dealing with sound leakage, but for about $10 more you can get the Sony MDR-V6s which I would highly recommend.
