I figure you need some honest feedback so I'll jump into it.
Disclaimer: I'm a web dev/designer myself, so some of this is also my personal design preference.
I can see you've made an effort to make the site engaging, and that's a good site. However there are two things you can improve on:
Too much animation that doesn't have a point. Don't do it because you can. People are on your site to read what you have say, so you probably don't want to distract them too much with fancy animations.
Make the call to action clear. What do you want them to "Join Now" or click "Help"? Only make the CTA stand out. The headline (primary message) doesn't get enough screen estate either.
Example of good landing page: https://www.crazyegg.com/
It looks simple as if the designer/dev is slacking off, but the message is dead clear and it's obvious what you can do if you're interested.
Just my 2 cents :)
I'm finding your website very slow to load. I just ran it through GT Metrix and it looks like your images are the main cause. Slow websites can turn customers off in an instant so I would focus on making your image size smaller. It's an easy fix and should help a lot.
I think it does, but I would use bullet points instead of the paragraph style text. I am going to guess that your target market are business owners or potential business owners (that is also the market I work with) and they are busy and they SCAN rather than read. I would also change the headline to a question to get them nodding "yes" Something like, Wondering how to implement Running Lean in your Business? Or Want to learn what Running Lean is all about? I would love to see your Kickstarter when it is up, this is a great idea. I have worked on several successful Kickstarters and I will help you promote, if you need it. (just because I like the idea, no fees or anything) :) ~ Kristi
Ver well, Sir! We have recently released new features including video background remover and image retouch (magic eraser). The image background remover v2 was also online yesterday. For those who are interested, please read our producthunt page.
https://www.producthunt.com/posts/cutout-pro-image-background-remover-v2
More features are on the way (e.g., better photo editor and user-specified video background, etc.)
For starters, your website is taking a long time to load. There is a popup which is coming up right away when I open the site, allow people to visit your products and show the popup after some time. You can check the speed here https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights
if I enter https://tesse.io I also get https://tesse.io/expert as landing page. why? why redirect starting with a longer URL? why redirect at all?
also, you site FROZE me. I couldn't return to reddit using back arrow
conclusion: weird shit at your website
Etsy is not really a drop shipper. Mainly because they are mostly "handmade" stuff.
Take a look at burst, https://burst.shopify.com/business-ideas/sell-bluetooth-speakers-online
It isn't exactly your stuff but some tips for dropshipping.
There is a large amount of blog posts on Shopify's blog explaining dropshipping stuff.
Hello! I have to say that you landing page is really very nice! I like such desigs a lot. I am creating a similar website for my business currently too and I am using the service from https://weblium.com for this purpose. How did you buid yours, by the way? Maybe I will try making a page this way too in the future.
nice site, you should include contact form on every page so you don't lose lead. https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=prelook.com click here to learn more about the pagespeed of your site. If it's not mobile friendly it can affect you negatively on SEO.
Before you begin adding or moving graphics and options on the site, your SEO will hurt your site rankings. The site index page is 3.5meg (too big) and is not optimized.
Check your Google Pagespeed link > https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=ikesnaturals.com&tab=mobile Your mobile score is 43/100 and desktop is at 59/100.
Improve your score to improve your site and your load time and visits will increase as will your site being found in the search engines.
Best of luck on your new site.
I've love to! I've done interviews here and I'm happy to be on podcasts!
If you have zero experience with business I would start learning about my market. Follow all the best blogs, influencers, webinars a google search will do the trick. this will probably start to trigger some ideas and questions around your own business. After that go and create your Business Model Canvas. This will give you a broad idea about your new company, and even after this you might even come to the conclusion that the idea didn't wroth your time. Books I would read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon hill for some money generation mindset, The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris is helpful to learn how to think business out of the box and something like The Lean Start Up by Eric Reis could help you to follow a process to develop products and companies fast. But again everything start from knowing yourself and your market, if you suck at marketing study marketing, if you suck at tech study some principles and so on.Hope you find it helpful.
Backlinks are important for SEO performance, so we've been using this list increase external links and drive awareness:
https://www.notion.so/Where-to-post-your-project-4b6b9c20d7d7462f871e7e71b6449f62
It's still early but we're working through it. One challenge we've faced is how to get backlinks through posts on other sites. Seems outreach is the only way to tackle this, but trying to find a more efficient/automated way to do that.
Good job! It looks great and intuitive to use.
I have previously used calendly.com/ myself, it would help to understand how is your product different from existing solutions and what would I gain by switching to Schedulr
Hi. I sell and support all the major vendors that do this.
If it's going to be a small audience, then any of the standard conferencing platforms will work, Standard Zoom and GoToMeeting seem to be the easiest to work with. Keep in mind that you will have to manage the meeting including muting participants and making sure nothing inappropriate is being seen on camera.
If you expect this to have a much larger audience and you want to tie everything into a marketing platform, then GoToWebinar and Zoom Webinar will be a better fit. The Webinar platforms also minimize distractions from the participants, but cost quite a bit more.
I've attended a few of these for problems I'm interested in. One in particular was interesting because they recorded the first one along with live questions at the end. They used the end of the meeting to get you to enter yourself into the next step of their sales funnel. They also tied it to their Facebook page and recommended any questions to Facebook. This probably saves them a ton of time. You might be able to do the same thing on LinkedIn.
I'd also look at a self sign up calendar like calendly.com. It allows them to pick a time based on your preset availability. There are others like this if you want to shop around. I just can't think of any off the top of my head.
Hope this helps!
Hi all, thank you for your comments and feedbacks. Now we free the UI and add some features like Making appointment with expert, Popular keywords and allow signing in with Facebook and G+ account. Check the latest version at https://tesse.io/.
I'm interested to see if you're getting any traction because this seems like a very difficult model to grow. It sounds like you're using the StumbleUpon approach where posted content is filtered by the community, which is great. But you're further constraining the spread by making it location based and adding an arbitrary cap on the number of people that see each post. I just don't see how your app can spread if your growth model alters the very definition of virality!
Think about reddit. Millions of daily active users yet you're lucky to get 1,000 upvotes on a post. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ripple's core idea is to find and/or share great content. How does this 'ripple' scheme benefit the core idea? A neat idea, sure, but is it really suited to the sharing of internet content? To me, this sharing algorithm would be better suited to another model, such as restaurant recommendations or location-based microblogging (like Yik Yak).
I can tell you have already spent some time looking at SaaS design trends. The design you have is in fashion for sure. I spend time putting together a big list of my favourite sites for inspiration. This is similar https://www.producthunt.com/posts/saas-landing-page - you might find it useful! As they say... good artists borrow, great artists steal
Still sounds like existing sites :)
Example: https://pixabay.com/en/users/domalberts-5302478/
It has the visual and social elements you described, as well as the ability to sell individual images or just take a tip from a grateful customer.
Loads slow; maybe hop off blue host or use a CDN. Also you may want to set the background of your page to black so it shows black while the background image loads.
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbrightsparkprogramming.com
Score of 7 (higher is better) The site looks good, lots of things to fix for performance.
If it makes you feel better, my site scores horribly on this test as well.
I currently have access to BlueHost with unlimited hosting and have a pretty capable website builder through Wordpress.com... I have done projects for as little as $1500 dollars if you are interested. If not, I would not recommend Wix as a starter way to make a website... More like Squarespace or WordPress would be my rec. Do they have a domain name?
While we were looking for beta testers, we posted a simple details page along with a survey to get more information from potential beta testers. https://www.notion.so/incryptfiles/SimpleSend-5825dac60f4e42a0b4245394570cb4e3
We are building a homepage to the product to give better context as to what it is and the main use cases to use it.
I appreciate all the insights you have given so far.
Thank you,
Greg
Mmm, I don't like the page to be honest, but I think that is not that bad actually, I mean... You can reorganize all the info on different pages inside your web. In the principal one, you can put the enterprise info, your trajectory and some client's photos! (cute doggies and kittens)
On the second page, you can put a catalog classified and at least the way to contact you and the payment that here's my real recommendation: If you're looking for international clients you'll need to have cryptocurrency payment! ;) I use mintMe wallet for this kind of purchases, not only because it's easier, I use this wallet because it is also more secure for me and the person that's selling and well, it has all coins options, even USD so... It's really really cool :)
Really cool product! Love the UX. I actually built something in the same space. https://tiiny.host - super simple static web hosting. I think wordpress should die already. At least for blogging. Is this based on Jekyll or anything?
I think people don't want to sign-up to use simple services like this. It's something supposed to be easy and quick. Currently www.strawpoll.me has everything you're offering without me having to sign-in or create an account. They simply look for IP-duplicates and prevent people from voting more than once.
With that said, if you focus on design I think you can compete, for sure. Try and mimic Google's minimalism for a starters.
Keyword research is not easy at all. Google is always changing organic search algorithm, and one day your #1 page might drop to #12 for no apparent reason. This is one reason why I really like SEMRush and their suite of tools. My agency has really enjoyed them compared to other tools in the past: https://semrush.com
You have no original content (everything is a category name or a product description culled from Amazon) and presumably no backlinks, so odds are Google considers your site worthless.
Search-engine traffic is not easily earned. Read carefully through the Moz guide to SEO.
As for the site's utility: I'm guessing you're somehow identifying a bunch of Amazon products as "good deals" but as a user all I see is a bunch of random stuff I don't need; I have no reason to use your site over just searching Amazon directly. I don't think you've managed to find a problem that people need solved, or a solution for such a problem.
There's nothing unfair about this situation. Traffic can be earned, but your site hasn't earned it.
https://www.producthunt.com/posts/ninchanese
I think it looks great. Really easy to start out as well. Lovely design. Great job guys. I know some Japanese but can't read. Are you going to incorporate that in the future? Chinese is out of my league for now.
I think that you should make it clearer what your site is about, so users can spend less time figuring out what it is all about and more time taking action, which is visiting the e-commerce stores you suggest.
You need to simplify everything and lay it out in an easy way to understand, because that's the way to increase conversions. People don't like confusing websites, and this is a huge warning, because it can lead your project to failure. Take that into account.
Now, you should also offer some kind of customer support, so you can close more deals and help your visitors more. You can integrate an efficient live chat software like Kayako, which I think would help you to increase customer satisfaction, and of course, it will also bring you a nice boost in conversions, which is what really matters in the end.
I hope that you find my suggestions useful, and if you wish to implement live chat, then you can claim your 14-day free trial here: https://www.kayako.com/free-trial
I would say that getting a website up and running would be important, but if you are looking for free ways to do it, you can do the following:
Create a Facebook Business Page for free (you have to have a personal Facebook page to create a business one).
Create a Twitter account for free.
Create a Google Business page for free, which will help you show up in local listings: https://www.google.com/business/
With the website you do have, make sure you optimize it with keywords relevant to what your dad's business does.
If he does NO advertising at all, you can simply have grassroots advertising pieces designed and printed for you. Also, you can even have postcards printed and directly mailed to thousands of local residents using direct mail and EDDM (every door direct mail) programs.
In fact, Minuteman Press can help you with #5, and everything can be custom designed and made for you. They are also a great resource for your needs in terms of offering advice on where you should begin.
You can find or call any local Minuteman Press in your area, and find a location here: http://www.shop.minutemanpress.com/store-finder
Hope these pieces of advice help! And good luck!!
To answer your main question. I would start looking at upwork.com you can find a bunch of them. Next yelp starting with your local city. most major cities have them. ask for an audience with their project or program managers and see if it can climb from there. correct me if i am wrong but you have a chicken and an egg problem. If you do have this product then you need to build it before anyone will work with you but you want people to work with you before you invest in the product? Additionally it sounds like you want them to do a lot of very specific things in order for your product to work, might be worth asking, if so specific why have they not done it themself already?
You are going to compete with developers mostly from India, Pakistan and Eastern Europe based on price. What the main differentiator is 1) presentation; 2) value; 3) skills; 4) your ability to source deals - most important.
Your English is very good, so you can use some common sources such as Upwork.com or even Fiverr.com to find clients. But like anything Western clients are very demanding and expect a certain level of presentation (quote) before they sign a contract with you.
What you also want to do and make it your priority is to build a portfolio of projects your team has already done. Those project could be for Ukrainian clients. There are many other considerations actually. Please PM me if you need any further advice.
There are a lot of design elements that make it feel a little unrefined. The logo, for instance. Also the shade of blue you are using feels a little harsh. Maybe use a color scheme picker like http://paletton.com/ to get some better colors. Also the little black boxes at the top and bottom. They are not easy on the eyes.
My first reaction is to try to find stuff from my own city. It was very easy to figure out how to do that. (My city wasnt available.) The rest of the process is pretty strait forward. So as far as usability it seemed fine. I think shopify has really made it hard to mess up the rest of the shopping process.
I dont know how you plan to market this, but one thought I had was that if I am looking for stuff to represent my home town, I would choose a website that was branded for my city rather than one that had tons of other cities. For instance, I would choose miamihometown.com over lotsofhometowns.com.
Hi jakfrist, thanks for your feedback! Yeah, it is machine washable and I have washed mine at least 10 times now and nothing happened with the surface. Good point actually, I think that we need to add this point to our FAQ page and maybe somewhere else so that our potential customers could find it very quickly. Actually, we are planning to redesign our product page and make it similar to HARRYS product page: https://monosnap.com/file/6mDUDIrGSMlMAjTCIiy5WMUXqxD4aS .
Hi NewtonianStrudel,
Wow, thanks so much for your feedback, really appreciate it! ;) Hm, this is very interesting, we've heard from few other people a very similar feedback about "not having to be an amazing artist" to buy our T-shirts. This is very helpful, actually.
One more question for you... Do you think that this sort of photo would do the trick with regards to your point about not having to be a great artist: https://monosnap.com/file/yKkusxLQNkvEGUqBFNexjuOFT70ERs . Thanks ;)
Hey there. I feel a bit like a broken record, but I got this advice from my weekly mastermind group and it's really changed my perspective on lead generation…
If Reddit is a place where you enjoy showing up, you're already on your way to finding new customers or prospects.
There are so many subs on Reddit, including this one, where business owners are seeking tech support or a go-to resource for this. So be there for them! Share your professional expertise, offer tips, and be a consistent resource for businesses struggling with their tech.
If you have a free downloadable resource to offer (with context!) that helps get people into your pipeline, even better.
I put together a quick video homepage review for you — I hope it's helpful, and I wish you luck with building your business!
I personally like your landing page a lot. How did you make it, by the way? I am personally creating a similar one for my startup currently and I will be using the service from https://weblium.com for this purpose. What do you think about it? I guess it is a great way to get a nice landing page these days
Very coo landing page herel, thank you a lot for sharing it! I am going to order a similar landing page from the guys on https://weblium.com for my business and I need some ideas about what I want to get. I think your website will help me a lot with it, thank!

I think they will do a great job for me
It is great! I am creating a landing page for my business these days too ans I would like to get some reviews on it. How do you recommend making a page for someone who is not familiar with it? I am working with the service from https://weblium.com and I guess they are very good at it. We'll see what I'll get ;)
Hi there! I wanted to tell that I like your landing page a lot, you have a nice sense of style indeed. I would like to get such a website for me too. I will be using the service from https://weblium.com I think it is one of the best web design services I have worked with. Have you tried something like it for you?
As for me, your landing page looks really good. I am going to set up such one for me too soon. I will be using the service from https://weblium.com for it, by the way. How did you make your website? Do you do it on your own? I would also appreciate some tips on it
Hello! I like your design and font used a lot! How did you build your website, by the way? I am looking for some nice landing page builders or services which can help me with my business. I am thinking about the service from https://weblium.com They also offer a nice website builder which is great. What do you think about it? Maybe you can recommend me something too?
It is a pretty good landing page here. You did some great job with it, I have to say. But personally, I like using the help of the service from https://weblium.com for me. They make some really great landing pages which can be edited then using the help of their nice drag-and-drop editor. Maybe you will find it interesting to you too
I have used some of the website builders from here too, thank you for the great information. I think this article will be very helpful to beginners. As for me, I created my landing page with the help of the service from https://weblium.com They also provided me with a very nice website builder, so I can make some changes to it and edit my page on my own. Maybe it will be helpful to someone here too
It looks very good, I like such desings, I have to say. I am going to create a similar web page for me too. I want to try the service from https://weblium.com for this purpose. The guys from there can build a really good website for you and you will then be allowed to use their cool website builder to make some changes. I think you will like it too, take a look there ;)

They do that: https://auth0.com/docs/hosted-pages/login
It's fine to be doing something similar to someone else... heck my company does. Just have a plan to differentiate... it can be by vertical, marketing strategy, pricing... any number of things where you see them not currently meeting the needs of the market.
Maybe what I'm hearing you saying that you're targeting non-developers with a simpler solution.
Very good question. Why another app in a market of thousands? Most of this apps make it very dificult for a buyier to start browsing. In all these options there are not cars right away you have to first filter before browsing, that overwhelms the user. Mine was intended to make users stay in the app by emphatizing right away what they came looking for: cars. Its easier and faster browsing (google agrees with that, mine 98x38 autotrader https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbuynsellcar.com),it was put a lot of effort on seo (search engine optimization) to make it easier to find by queries on google. Filters work good. And it was tried to make a clean, fast website. I want to target car dealers who have dozens of cars to sell by offering free ads therefore having more diversity than competitors. I couldnt find how much kijiji charges, Craigslist charges $5, autotrader $25. BuyNSellCar.com is Free.
Take a look in the portuguese version, it has more vehicles as its going for a longer time https://briquecarros.com
1- If you insist of going with your statement consider "We are (a) high qualified team of talented designers and developers."
2- In order to have a better Search Engine results, go through recommendations at PageSpeed.
3- Your design is professional and the coloring pallet had been inspired by your logo. However, it might be helpful to also consider your target audience perspective. They are will be looking for more creativity in coloring, design and ideas.

Let me 1st say that you do beautiful work. I love the wood burnt police flag (I was a NYC Cop for 20 years)
Here are my initial thoughts:)
1- The website is wasting too much space on top (above the navigation. Very valuable space for a phone number, social icons and a trust signal)
2- It's not till I scroll down to Featured Products do I (barely) realize you are selling anything. Prices are too small, where do i click, What credit cards do you take, Am I adding to cart or is it magically being taken out of my bank account (LOL..people think that)
3- Who is designing these beautiful flags. I have to scroll all the way to the bottom left to see a beautiful family.
4- Here are your tags: (what people see when they google search you:
<title>LGCY decor - Charred and Carved Wood American Flags</title>
<meta name="description" content="Handcrafted vintage-style and primitive Americana decor. All items are carved and burned entirely by hand to give them an authentic rustic style." />
CHANGE TO
<title>WOW! Get The Best Carved Wood American Flags 2016</title> <meta name="description" content="Handcrafted vintage-style and primitive Americana decor. All items are carved and burned entirely by hand to give them an authentic rustic style. Same Day Shipping. Contact us today!" />
(Notice the title tag is more attractive? I want the BEST. I want to be wowed, Let me see I need to click!)
5- The page speed on the desktop is 10-100 Here is Googles tool to check it yourself: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
6- While the website is Mobile friendly it looks like the Buffalo is taking up the entire screen. How can someone purchase on Mobile>
I think you have a wonderful one of a kind product and with a few tweaks (ok a lot of tweaks) it has potential to be a hit.
Hope that helped a little

Check out Traction by Gino Wickman, and his Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS).
"E-Myth Revisited" is a little dated (from what I remember) but made a lasting impression as well.

A few commenters mentioned Mentors, which is awesome if you can find one. Will definitely accelerate your learning. If you can't, hire a reputable business coach. It made a huge difference for me in identifying my blindspots and really helped me to build velocity in execution.
I have a friend that's done quite a bit of work through Treehouse they have some business oriented courses but I've been through a little bit and it's not real advanced or anything
If you just need a site for this opportunity and you don't have any plans for it in the future, go ahead with the free wix plan and call it a day. If you want your own domain name or to develop it further in the future that may or may not be the best option.
I've also heard good things about https://carrd.co/
Really if you just need a site and they don't care what it is pick the cheapest/easiest they'll all be OK. If you want to make this part of your business going forward we probably need to know more about your goals.
I like the landing page, it's important to maintain consistency between landing pages and websites because it builds trust. Here's a great example of a landing page that I came across this morning while commenting in another subreddit for a SaaS: https://miro.com/l/remote-collaboration?utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dcpc%26utm_campaign%3DS|GOO|NB|US|ALL-EN|Core%26utm_adgroup=Collaboration%26utm_custom%3D13949166448%26utm_content%3D534428755627%26utm_term%3Dcollaboration%20board%26matcht...
Notice how it's not too different from the main site miro.com? So I think it would be good to incorporate the same look and feel between both. Trust is built through the users expectations meeting the experience.
Do you have a budget for this? you're just looking for traffic for the KS or for your site and sales? A marketing strategy will need to follow what your goals are and budget allows. social sharing isn't a marketing strategy, fact is it is off more than 50% just last year.
Read this: http://buzzsumo.com/blog/content-trends-2018
Do you have your own site?
I'm happy to help but need more clarity on the objectives and what you have to work with.
First of all, do competitor research, find what they don't have that you can provide. Printed shirts and hoodies are all over the place and lots of people do this. Think of ways you can be unique.

If you share the link to your website, it will be easier to give you some feedback on what you need to improve. If your store is Shopify, you can join subreddits like r/shopify, r/reviewmyshopify.
Probably the best way to reach out to Angels and VCs is through getting introduced through a personal network. But unfortunately not all the founders have that type of privilege. So reaching out through cold emailing turns out to be another option.
I am not sure what type of bankers would be interested, but hey you might be right on this. What I know for sure is that founders actually have difficulty finding relevant investors for their businesses. I've been in startup industry for 3 years and I've been through the process of raising capital (it's hard).
Also, we have already 10 paying customers and our data can be seen through this link: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/angel-match
First up, it doesn't really convert anything to a podcast - just an audio file. Which is fine, but let's be honest with each other, there are a few more steps until that audio file is a podcast.
You need instructions. It took me a few minutes to figure out what the fuck was going on. A live tutorial would be great - something like Hootsuite have, to run you through the process.
Email and Google are probably enough, but I expect to see Facebook there as well.
On the home screen, I want to see items I've previously converted (pulling the featured image from the original blog/article would be a great visual).
The design ... well, there isn't a design yet.
I, personally, dislike both other names. They don't mean anything to me. Blog2Cast is, at least, self-explanatory.
Seems like the actual mechanics of the service are working. I picked a blog, converted it and downloaded it. I assume that's all I can do because that's all I could find.
Hey, Founders list is public but not others so couldn't comment link. I'll send you actual file connect either mail at () or messenger (https://www.messenger.com/t/pankmahar).
We are using https://slack.com/apps/A57EXBHND-abot-anonymous-feedback-and-polls?next_id=0 for this kind of polls. Works well enough so far.
How about DottedSign? Our company is currently using it. It’s compatible with all devices, so you don’t need to worry about the mobile version for sure. DottedSign has the guest signing mode, allowing clients to sign the document without login. The audit trail also ensures security and legality, and the automated flow really accelerates the signing process and makes the deal go smoothly. Hope this could help!
I’m a little confused on what you’re asking, but I’ve been using NordVPN for over five years now on a daily basis. They have plenty of servers available and have always been very reliable for my needs. I have only used one other VPN before them, but I have absolutely no plans on switching. Their apps are well built and easy to use and they have a responsive support team that was able to quickly help me on the like 2 times I ever contacted them. Highly recommend.
Yes, we use VPN which is NordVPN Teams and and it's enough for my work (8 people in company).Of course we have Anti-Virus program McAfee and password manager Keeper, but that's it. I'm not stressing out about extra tools when there's no need for that.
Really loved the idea! It reminded me of The Innovator's Toolkit book, although the approach is different.
Maybe I would add more elaborate examples or case studies of how the experiments could be applied.
Also, it would be great if I coud filter the exercises by the attibutes, such as difficulty or what it validates.
How do you measure the strength of evidence?

The best thing I've read to speak to this was The Lean Startup.
I basically says to launch and fail quickly. Specifically regarding validating a market for the product, see if customers will BUY the product.
That's as simple as putting up a landing page, then spending money on ads to see how many people go all the way to the purchase page.
You don't actually have to have a product to launch this tactic.
If people are willing to buy the product, that is confirmation of the viability of your market.
And it saves you investing time and money (mostly time) in developing a product that may not have a market.
Check out the Lean Startup by Eric Riles (I believe). It's worth the read.
The approach you should take, and maybe you are, is to set up some "validated learning" as you're launching your product. Keep your expectations reasonable. Prepare to gather data and learn. People and small companies often have multiple product launches. It's very possible you will as well. Launch it. Learn more. Launch again. Learn again. Repeat until you make real traction.
The validated learning concept is from the book, The Lean Startup. Basically, you want to learn the right things that will inform the changes necessary. Your business plan right now is a hypothesis and the experiment is placing it in the marketplace in order to see what people buy.
Thanks for the feedback!
My target is for those that have a hard time following the Lean Startup process correctly, or want to do it faster.
I guess I don't make it clear enough but I break the entire Running Lean process into step-by-step cards with overviews, examples, and tasks, as well as custom designed fill-in-the blank notebooks to do interviews, run experiments, record learning, etc.
I have never found something like that to download -- I looked and I ended up creating my own for my workshops. Wouldn't mind seeing what you normally use or are referring to so I can understand what is out there.
And while this isn't for you, I've found that it's easier to focus outside of the computer without distractions, using pen and paper.
Thanks again!
I've seen explainer videos on Amazon, are you sure this is not possible? Here is an example (video is in left-side images).
I like to read books that are not usually about business but see how the technicques and mindset applies. For example 'Never Split The Difference' is also a great book for learning negotiation skills (https://www.amazon.de/Never-Split-Difference-Negotiating-Depended-ebook/dp/B014DUR7L2)
