It could be a maker’s mark, but I have suspicions that that’s not what this is since it’s engraved and not stamped and doesn’t look like a particularly skilled engraving or one that’s been practiced much which would be expected if this is how the jewelry does their mark.
Because it’s engraved I’d lean more towards the year it was given, initials of OP’s great grandmother or who she got it from (or who it was passed to her from, if it wasn’t purchased for/by her), possibly even the year she died. It could also be a birthstone ring and the mark is either the year of birth or initials of the child; I have seen someone do a birthstone ring and initials for a child that died shortly after birth, though that may be difficult to find.
u/Hbj0002 I’d look through your family history and see if there’s any significance to 56 or SG. For 56 check years born, engaged, married, or died. If you don’t find anything tied to your great grandmother, try a couple generations before her, if possible. If you’re in the US you can check state and federal records here and ancestry.com has some free records here and also does a free trial if you can’t find what you need with the free resources. You may also be able to get something from local or county historical societies. This may prove fruitless, but it’s a good way to know more about your ancestors!
I couldn't find the exact bracelet from lucky, but this one looks similar and might be a decent replacement
Saw the stub off with a jeweler's saw.
File down the remaining stub with a swiss 2 cut flat hand file.
If you don't want the big gouges in the piece, use sandpaper starting at 80 grit and working your way up until properly blended.
Soldering - You'll need hard silver solder, a torch of some kind (look up micro-torches on amazon for cheap options), propellant for your torch (for the micro-torches that would be butane), flux, pickle, a pickle jar, copper tongs, a solder pick, and a charcoal or magnesium block. All of these things can be purchased on RioGrande.com or on Amazon. Here is a good starter kit: https://www.amazon.com/Jewelry-Soldering-SFC-Tools-Kit-1700/dp/B00KITRQK0
If you get this far it would be worth it to take a class or read a soldering book or watch a few soldering videos. The actual act of soldering is something that takes practice and patience and some amount of skill. Luckily, your piece will be pretty easy in that you won't be able to screw it up thanks to the thick metal, but it'll also take a good bit of heat to solder properly.
After soldering and pickling, you take progressively finer grades of sandpaper to the piece. If you can't find 2000 grit sandpaper or so, 3m makes some finishing paper that is used just like sandpaper and can give you a very good shine. Finish with your polishing cloth and you're good to go!
I also do mostly custom orders. I generally also make my own cabochons out of raw stones or slabs. Let me know the particulars and I will come up with a price for you. My etsy shop is: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EarthArtsNW?ref=si_shop
I agree. Go custom! That is what we did here and I will venture to say that no one has a wedding set like mine!! I paired it with two small diamond bands on either side.
Perfect for us. It's so fun to design together and get a one of a kind work of art!!
Congrats and good luck
You can buy potassium alum on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009IN1FY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_osS1ybVFYMH3D
Note that this isn't going to get you jewelry quality crystals and any grown crystal will dissolve eventually unless you seal it with something.
I just got a custom necklace from this etsy shop, and I've been wearing it nonstop for a month. It's very very similar to the one in the photo, but I had her take out the initial charm and add in a lotus flower charm. It's beautiful and high quality. https://www.etsy.com/listing/155270566/personalized-compass-necklace-initial?ref=shop_home_feat_3
Nice technique on the wire itself. The bends are nice and even. The design is great! My one criticism is that the bail and bail binding wire are silver and separate from the wrap. I can't tell how the bail is bound exactly but typically in wire wrap you use the same wire for the bail and the wrap so that it won't pull free. You could form a small loop at the top of the heart (between the lobes) and put a jump ring though the loop and then the chain could go through the jump ring. Anyhow just some ideas :-) FYI I have a small business on etsy creating and selling wire wrap jewelry: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EarthArtsNW
I bought this book on Kindle in January and opened an Etsy shop in Feb to sell the stuff I'm making. Completely self taught through this and random YouTube videos. Can look through my post history to see the stuff I've made recently 🙂
It appears to be a handflower, hand chain, or slave bracelet (though I really hate that moniker). Sadly, it is also broken. Easily fixable, though! It should look and be worn like this:

Looks like solder points and a bunch of gunk… maybe a little tarnish… mostly gunk- needs cleaning- don’t do ultrasonic or steam with those little seed pearls.
I found these cleaning sticks while playing with watchmaking and they are awesome- no lint is a bonus…
Also the polystyrene sticks from Bergeron are pretty miraculous in my experience- I used them while working on cleaning and restoring my grandfather’s wristwatch it had not been dealt with since returning from the pacific in WWII
Hello! I have a small questions, I'm planning to making a leather necklace a little like the game character Nathan Drake, to give my wedding ring a second life. But for the life of me I cannot find or identify the Gold, Silver and Copper rings above:

scratch that! Ive found it!!! Earrings! still, my comment asking about where to find more still stands.
Do you have any thoughts on protective coatings like this? I have quite a few vermeil pieces and though I'd consider having some of them re-plated, I would like to keep them looking good for as long as possible. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0058ECZ1U/ref=ox\_sc\_act\_title\_5?smid=A38WFKVAMEYW7E&psc=1

An over the door storage that doubles as a mirror would be perfect for her
If you want something cheaper then this:
You could just put the ring through the necklace. They also sell necklaces that were made to hold a ring, such as this one. This little twisty thing is the greatest ring sizer I’ve found. Very adjustable, easy to put on, and does no permanent damage to my rings.

If you have two pairs of pliers at home (or a single pair and deft fingers) you can reattach it yourself. You can purchase premade jumprings from Amazon:
Jumprings aren't typically soldered shut for smaller chains like these. The tensile strength of the metal does a pretty good job and will conveniently "break" if it put under too much duress (jumprings are very replaceable and easy to fix; other parts are a bit less easy.)
I have a wall mounted jewelry armoire I got from Amazon. I love it because it does a great job at presenting everything so it doesn't get lost in a pile of necklaces or whatever, plus it has plenty of open space so I can fill it up as time goes on. I just wish I had gotten the rotating one with shelves on the outside so I could've stored bags on it or shoes or something. I think it's this one.
It looks like a replica of Dean’s amulet from the TV show Supernatural. It seems to be based on the Hindi goddess Bhavänï. Here’s an Amazon link to something that looks almost identical- Amazon

The $49 description doesn't match the multi-pearl necklace. If you right-click on the image and select "search Google for image", it'll show you various retailers that are offering this piece.

My store is EarthArtsNW at https://www.etsy.com/shop/EarthArtsNW . Yeah etsy now has just about every handmade item you can imagine. My only beef is that recently they opened up to items manufactured and partially "handmade" overseas. Fortunately though there still are mostly entirely artisan made products :-)
This is exactly what I was talking about on etsy. Not to harsh too much on the OP he seems that he is honestly looking for a market for his goods. Maybe there should be a marketplace that explicitly calls out "semi- handmade" versus one of kind. You might look at wire wrapped jewelry since it's just about impossible to make a piece that is identical. I make every effort to make each of my pieces unique. Not trying to advertise here but here is my site to give you some ideas. I don't have many rings but there's enough to give you some ideas hopefully :-) https://www.etsy.com/shop/EarthArtsNW
Extra Large Cleaning and... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LDX2ND1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share this is the one I have right now! Also, solid gold definitely scratches easy (esp as you go up in karats, I have so many hairline scratches on my 18k pieces), so if scratch marks really bother you, you could try going with another metal like silver the next time!
Ooo gotcha! Depends on the seller, but typically you can message them about returns & they just take the postage out of the refund. After finding this in a pile of trash left by the previous home owners, I searched Google and at Gucci's female watches and didn't find anything.
There appears to be a match on eBay but I am not sure.
With the information shown here, how much might it be worth?
What verification should I look for?
Okay here's my very biased opinion. Don't buy anything from a box story or even an online store like Blue Nile. What you get is extremely overpriced poor quality stones set in factory made castings. I know because I buy stones from overseas vendors frequently at less than 10% of what box stores charge. If you like a traditional look, find a local jeweler who makes their own pieces, or better yet go to an online marketplace like etsy or zibbet where you can find truly unique one - of kind items that are individually handmade and a lot less expensive than what you are now looking at paying. Most of these artisans will even do custom pieces just for you. In my mind a special gift should be something that no one else has. Buy from a big store and thousands will have exactly what you just paid so much money for. I know I'm biased but there's my 2 cents :-) BTW here's my own etsy store but I'm sure there are thousands of others that can help you find the perfect piece! https://www.etsy.com/shop/EarthArtsNW?ref=si_shop
I think you'll definitely want to consider a bezel. As for montanas, we got mine here:
https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/MountainMommaGems
Another good source, though more spendy: http://www.gemfix.com/sapphire_montana.html (the cushion in the center of the third row looks really nice to me!)
You may want to go with a slightly lighter stone as a bezel will make it look darker. I'd buy the stone first then see about getting a setting made or finding one to fit. We got mine at a chain jeweler, but I'd recommend getting something through a small local jeweler or going custom (there are some good etsy vendors, don't discount that, but you'll have to be comfortable with sending the stone out to them).
Nice! Etsy is a great place to start but it's really hard to stand out from the huge crowd of other people selling jewelry. You will need to market your work to get sales but your work looks unique and of high quality so it should sell. I use a lot of social networking to drive visits both from Twitter and facebook and it works pretty well for me. Here's my etsy site, when you get set up I'll favorite you to get you started :-) https://www.etsy.com/shop/EarthArtsNW
I'm a jeweler :) Everything I make is entirely handmade from start to finish. I don't know what your time constraints are, but feel free to check out my etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PhetteplaceDesigns?ref=si_shop I generally need 2-3 weeks to build anything.
There are definitely other shops who are not as made-to-order that have beautiful pieces. Good luck!
Yes, rusting and also issues with magnetism are both big concerns of me. Some of the local jewelers I talked to were also concerned about fragility, if it is a thin inlay. Most commonly it is an inlay set in titanium or something like that, which I imagine is meant to help with the stability of the ring, but still I worry a lot about the lifespan and upkeep of the ring. And knowing that it is actually meteorite!
Some of the rings I like the most are from JewelryByJohan, aka Johan Rust. His work is beautiful, and he gets great reviews, but I'm hoping to find some more outside opinions from people "in the know."
I think this is probably pretty close to what I will go with, if I can convince myself to go through with this. https://www.etsy.com/listing/94627534/gibeon-meteorite-inlaid-in-titanium-ring?ref=shop_home_active_9

Sorry, I should have included more info in my original post.
Like I mentioned, this is a prop for a film project. Here is a 3D model of what I am looking for. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:450513/#files. If you click 'thingiview' you can move around the model.
I'm looking for this to be done in a smooth white, and possibly a smooth black material. Something somewhat durable, but it can be the cheapest material that does the job. It will be handled with care. A glossy surface would be nice.
It will be put in water, but other than that it won't be subjected to harsh conditions.
The tricky part... I'm looking for this to be about about 1cm long. Anywhere from 8mm-15mm would work. Very small, I know. Where the two hexagons meet, I understand there would likely need to be more overlap than what is shown in the model.
This is a very important prop, so I'm willing to pay good money for high quality. Depending on the quote, I would be interested in having a few copies of this done.
As far as buying on Amazon is concerned it is safe. (DISCLOSURE: I do not sell on Amazon or Etsy only through our own shop)
DONT BUY IT! The is nothing of value and no originality in the Jewelry at all. They are selling "Fashion Jewelry" at too way high of a price and passing it off as Fine Jewelry. The quality of Jewelry at Walmart is higher.
For a $300 budget you can get something original that will have her girlfriends drooling... I think Etsy would be fine if you are buying through PayPal or something equal.
Realize if you are buying "Fashion Jewelry" "Fine Jewelry" or "Artisan Jewelry" what is out there is amazing. If you want to get a quick look at jewelry types check out the feeds at "Tumblr.com" https://www.tumblr.com/search/jewelry that is probably the quickest way to get an idea of what is out there and it doesn't touch the market. As for prices.... well things can go from 99¢ up to about $50,000 (okay I did see something going for 15,000,000.00) with most being under $100.
Hope this helps
yes, some jewelry at that time would not be stamped due to them usually being higher gold karat and not obviously stating it! If you're in a large city you can see any large jewelry store or pawn shop that can test the ring for you with a gold testing gun or simple at-home test!
I've had trouble finding this because I want a double shank and an emerald cut stone with halo. Fairly low profile so I don't get it caught on everything and made of whatever silver metal is most durable because I don't want to worry about it constantly.
The closest I found was this but when I ordered it the quality was very poor. There were rough unbuffed welding marks all over, the little diamonds in the halo were obviously different colors and the stone was misaligned. The stone was also very yellow and I would prefer a clear or blue tint.
Can you let me know what you think and what price range we are looking at?
These look like the ones that were used when I got my ears pierced with a piercing gun when I was 8 years old. I remember they kind of locked on and were hard to get off the first time, but were easier to use after that. I'm not sure if you'd be able to buy them on their own.
I just got a pair of the ones below and like them okay so far. They fit pretty tight, but only silicone touches your skin, so maybe they'd work? There are also ones that are made from only silicone. Otherwise, for lightweight earrings, sometimes I just use the little rubber backers that come on earrings when you buy them that keep the backs from coming off, if you know what I'm talking about. Amazon sells replacements of those, too.

I’m definitely not here to yell at you, although I’d love to help! 😄
I’d recommend trying one of these:
Put a drop of Dawn dish soap on a very soft toothbrush (I actually use one of these. Scrub gently.
Use a Dazzle Stik or something similar.
Try using one of these methods at least weekly and that should definitely help keep your stone sparkly!

I got a stainless steel cuban chain anklet with 5mm wide links about two months ago that I put on and haven’t taken off since. I got stainless steel because I knew I wouldn’t take it off through swimming and bathing and wanted no tarnishing as well as strength to withstand all of that- and it’s been doing great. I did make sure to cut the extender chain down exactly to my size so there is no extra chain overhang to get caught on anything.
However, is it girly? I’m not sure. I do think that you should switch to using stainless steel anklets though in heftier styles of chains to avoid breakage if you are having these problems already/ planning on wearing it long term.
This is the one I purchased. Admittedly, I did go the cheaper and mass produced route, but it’s held up really, really well. That same listing has different options of styles available, though, that may suite your taste better (keep in mind that not all of the options for anklets in that listing are only stainless steel; I had to read carefully). I would still avoid styles like the “layered heart” that is available on that same listing, as even in steel thinner chains made like that are still more prone to breakage, and veer more towards styles like the cuban, box, or thicker rope chains. Either way, there are many vendors out there that offer thicker stainless anklets!
okay i have a question 🙋🏽♀️
i have this at home CONNOISSEURS Jewelry Cleaner for Diamond, Gold & Precious Stones - Bonus Ultra Soft Polishing Cloth, Dip Tray and Brush https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HKM47JT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_SSSJ22MXP0VGWJ5FRJ41 but i cant seem to find anything in a paste-like consistency that is safe on gold? would this work?
Exactly like that, yes. For paste, something like this.
Or any other "metal polish."
You apply it to the fibrous white wheels that come with the rotary kit, and in seconds the scratches will be gone.
i dont really know what im looking for but is it something like this: CHOKMAX Cordless Rotary Tool, 3.7V Li-ion MRT22DC Mini Rotary Multi-Tool Kit with Variable Speed, 24pcs Accessories Kit Electric Rotary DIY Grinder for Polishing, Cleaning and Engraving https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TJ7KF6Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_X9F0B5NMN9JSEFB53YT4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1?
what kind of paste would i need?
Amazon has lots tooheavy 18g sheild ring 925 i have bought form lisnion before, ok prices.
Oops my bad. I somehow didn't realize they came with earrings. I guess they're not HEINOUSLY overpriced then.
Honestly though, I feel it's too matchy-matchy to have exactly the same exact pendant and earrings. I would get a smaller (6mm or so) plain pair of earrings. https://www.amazon.ca/PAVOI-Sterling-Freshwater-Cultured-Earrings/dp/B018MED340/ref=sr_1_17?dchild=1&keywords=6mm+akoya+pearl+earrings+sterling&qid=1607748820&sr=8-17
But if she really wants a matching set ... then actually that isn't as bad as I thought.
That first one is not worth the price at all.
Basically jewelry is something that people charge what they want. It's pretty arbitrary. And most people don't know a lot of jewelry so they just buy whatever. It's definitely not solely because of the cz's. lol. Those literally cost pennies. And yes, the more elaborate setting does raise the price, but not that much.
How about this one? Still a bit overpriced but I have bought from this brand and it's high quality.
From the drop-down that I'm seeing here, looks like there are LOTS of sizes. Yikes. There are some tips for calculating sizing if you scroll down.

Great question. I have own a custom jewelry company in Texas and have been doing molds for a while. There are different types of mold material. regular molding material which has been a thing of the past in a way, vlt molds, and silicone molds to name a few. Why are there different molds you may ask? All of these molds shrink which means when you put wax in it your piece will be slightly smaller than the original. Very slightly. The best mold material to use is silicone because it has a low shrinkage. Silicone molds less than 1.25% shrinkage while the regular molds are less than 2.75% shrinkage.
Here is a link to a good easy mold kit on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Smooth-Silicone-Making-OOMOO-30/dp/B004BNF3TK/ref=sr_1_4_mod_primary_new?dchild=1&keywords=silicone+mold+a+and+b&qid=1607101469&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sr=8-4
You would mix the 2 liquids. Pour it on the piece you want to mold. wait the suggested amount of time. Remove it from the mold case (which you also need to get). Get a scalpel not a knife or anything else. Watch some videos on how to cut molds. Cut it and now you have a mold to inject wax in.
If you have a dremel tool or something similar you can do it yourself. Also if this is silver, which it looks like, you can get a cheap burnishing and to it yourself by hand. You just simply rub it back and forth and in restores the shine.

You can also just search on Amazon for clear epoxy, most types are fairly easy to use, I just like the convenience of not having to measure
amazon has a great selection of loupes

This one has a stronger 60x magnification. I use this to confirm the laser inscription on my diamond as well as to really look at small details on the diamond
I have thin fingers and can recommend to. Stay away from titanium and tungston. They tend to make those metal types of rings thicker due to the hardness of the metal. I hated my tungston ring, the thickness hurt my hand anytime I used a tool, or had to shovel. So, after 10 years of marriage, I opted to buy a new ring.
So, as far as recommendation, I don't have one. Though, I wound up buying this (ring)[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076Q7ZDMB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uHZACb4AQETZV] from Amazon as I no longer care how fancy it is, but it was thinner and looks nice enough.
Not going to help with the scratch resistance, but what about a fairly inexpensive Amazon Collection gold wedding band? https://smile.amazon.com/Classic-Fit-Gold-Wedding-Band/dp/B01EAF97MC/ref=sr_1_11?fst=as%3Aoff&qid=1551872010&refinements=p_89%3AAmazon+Collection&rnid=2528832011&s=apparel&sr=1-11
Yes, and the bangle, made with my specific pick. I looked it up, it's called a triangle pick. Here's an Amazon link to one.
I struggled with heavy earrings too until I discovered earring support patches. It's a little patch you wear on the back of your earlobe and helps take some of the weight off. You can get a pack of 60 on Amazon for less than $7. They are amazing! I hope they work for you! Are you using squared pliers like these? https://www.amazon.com/Jewelers-Supermarket-Economic-Smooth-Standard/dp/B00A04WDMY If you're planning to dedicate time to wire jewelry you'll need to get these pliers in multiple gauges.
For the detailing— semi-hardened variants of the wires work best. What are you using right now?

Margaret Cross makes some very nice custom jewelry with ashes or hair.
Also would you be willing to consider a necklace? A stainless steel one like this are very affordable. They don't take a lot of ashes so you can wear some and save the rest for when you can afford a custom ring.
Here’s how to keep both sterling silver and plated silver clean. You can buy an ultra sonic cleaner too but it’s not worth it unless you find a super deal one since you don’t have that much -
https://www.bhg.com/homekeeping/house-cleaning/tips/how-to-clean-silver/
You just need a silver polishing cloth.

Not recommending this one specifically and I don’t get a fee from this link.
this is legit, right? I ordered it last night but if you think it’s questionable I’m going to cancel and get something cheaper with 2 day shipping

They don't sell my exact model anymore but this is the one I'd buy now. Just be careful not to throw soft stones like opal or moonstone in it. Can crack em.

I can't seem to get an image to post but they sell these very tiny plastic sleeves to put on earring posts to protect against irritation from metal. They sell them on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Display-and-Fixture-Store-Protectors/dp/B007PSIOJE/ref=sr_1_3?crid=17IZ2CX42URJB&dchild=1&keywords=pierced+earring+protectors&qid=1597496987&sprefix=pierced+earring+protec%2Caps%2C169&sr=8-3, etsy, and in many stores. I have used them with success. I don't know why it happens, but I have had issue with different earrings from time to time also.
Amazon link here but similar cheaper on Etsy

$6.99 on Amazon, commonly found in low budget steampunk costumes.
I’m 5’8” and 140 with a size 5.5-6 ring finger. Everybody is different so it’s not impossible but it seems improbable that she would wear an 11. Just to be sure, I would pick up a plastic ring sizer from Amazon and send it to her so she can measure officially.
Turns out i made an error on the model this is the one I found G34.300, heres the amazon link, https://www.amazon.com/Grobet-G34-300-Flex-Shaft-Kit/dp/B000N54HP6
Would you know of this would be any good?
Edit: found this on too, https://www.ottofrei.com/Glardon-Flex-Shaft-Kit-Motor-Foot-Control-No.30-Handpiece-110V
Found one very very similar to it on Amazon!!
https://www.amazon.com/Crystal-Rhinestone-Statement-Necklace-Necklaces/dp/B07RPT647M
Edit: definitely the necklace if you look at the “Green” color option.
Allrighty then....now that you have disassembled the components (cough cough) thoroughly and carefully clean them to remove remaining glue bits.
Before re-gluing, make sure all the bits fit together snuggly.
I would use a 2 part epoxy....not a "super glue".
Mix the 2 parts together with a clean toothpick. Sparingly, with your toothpick, coat the pieces where the glue won't be seen and place them
back together. Gorilla epoxy sets in 5 minutes. Make sure you will be able to reassemble the earrings within about 90 seconds or do it in stages.
I'm optimistic.
Let us know. :)
I think the Gorilla Glue 2 part Epoxy works well. It's what I use: https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Epoxy-Minute-ounce-Syringe/dp/B001Z3C3AG/ref=lp_256244011_1_3?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1577637372&sr=1-3
so is it worth it? How can I tell? Like this looks pretty similar and it's significantly cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/Suxerlry-Stainless-English-Initial-Necklace/dp/B07WRDDZNK/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=necklace%2Bold%2Benglish%2Bletter%2Binitial%2Bmens&qid=1572496854&sr=8-2&th=1
Stainless steel has certain elements in it that prevent it from rusting and reacting to skin oils and water. It essentially keeps itself clean. You can get reels of it on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/PandaHall-Stainless-Necklace-Lobster-Jewelry/dp/B0787TZB8B/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1550970132&sr=8-3&keywords=stainless+steel+curb+chain+bulk
This is the only necklace I found on Amazon that was a yellow gold peridot oval larger than 10x8mm with no diamonds. I basically had no luck finding anything larger than a 10x8mm in a bezel peridot oval in yellow gold, so I do think custom is probably going to be your best bet.
I think if I bought the regular tungsten, non colored ring it would be okay but I slid it across a rock based stairway going downstairs and there it went. Here is the one I bought online:
I have a nice jewelry cabinet. I keep all my silver in one drawer and buy these strips, which I change every few months. I also bought a small amout of anti-tarnish cloth like this. I cut two pieces the size of the drawer. One lines the bottom and I drape the other over the jewelry. Together with anti-tarnish strips it works well for me. I used the extra cloth as a drape over my silver serving spoons, etc. in the dining room drawer.
>Thoughts?
At least now you know that their product description is not accurate (as suspected).

"Talented artisans at Ana Silver Co. masterfully handcrafts each piece of jewelry you see here. Our pieces are made with solid 925 sterling silver and genuine gemstones. The one-of-a-kind piece you see here is the same exact piece you will receive."
They import finished products from India.
could try amazon. 1.1mm Box chain white gold 14kt ~56 bucks a gram, and I only looked for 5 mins.
I'm still trying to understand this...
What is the difference between what I bought and this: https://www.amazon.com/Standard-Comfort-Palladium-Band-Size/dp/B005DJU7D8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1471311193&sr=8-2&keywords=palladium+wedding+band
They both seem to have the same dimensions, and made with the same grade of palladium. So what's the difference that on amazon its almost 3x cheaper?
thanks so much for your response! what is your opinion on the price of this necklace and the style: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0159QTF8W/ref=s9_simh_gw_g197_i2_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=&pf_rd_r=M026PSV6AAMNYT3Y61MC&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=6aad23bd-3035-4a40-b691-0eefb1a18396&pf_rd_i=desktop
MAPP would be a bit unwieldy, imo.
I use this guy: http://www.amazon.com/ALL-PURPOSE-LARGE-BUTANE-TORCH-SOL-310-00/dp/B0058EDUYG
It works great. Gets plenty hot, nothing on it has melted even though I'm right up in the action with it, easy to refill but doesn't go through the butane too quickly, and has an adjustable flame (which is really key for a lot of things). Eventually I'll upgrade to acetylene, but for now it works great.
If you want a step up from that the Blazer gets consistently good reviews - http://www.amazon.com/Blazer-GB2001-Self-Igniting-Butane-Micro-Torch/dp/B000VML7KO/
They sell pin keepers for a more secure alternative to the butterfly clutch for pin backs. I see them in biker gear stores all the time to keep pins securely fastened to biker leather vests.
