I use “Private Internet Access” - I’ve had it forever and it’s got rly great reviews, never been overcharged or anything sketchy. I think I pay like 7 bucks a month for it thru paypal.
Once you sign up for that you download an app through their site. Assuming your on Mac, you’ll have an icon on your top bar to the right (like to the left of your sound button and to the right of the file menus). You can then choose to connect to a list of different VPN locations. Choose India and wait for it to say connected.
Then just go to
Since it’ll think you are in India it should show you the price in Rupees. You can double check the price by converting to USD in google, but when I did it it came out to under 15$ for the year.
Once your set up, just make sure to connect to the India VPN everytime you open up the site and sign in. Then once your signed in you can just click any game you wanna watch.
Since your connected to the India VPN your internet speed will be slower. But once your signed into league pass you can just disconnect from the VPN (click the same icon in the top menu and hit disconnect). Then your stream should be fast and high quality. Again - since your already signed in you can do anything you normally would w league pass (start game over, watch live, watch other games).
Just everytime you wanna watch, go thru the above process to login.
It sounds more complicated than it is. Within about 5 mins I’m streaming the game. I also have an HDMI output on my laptop so I just connect it to my TV
duck is a'ight, but if you prefer to send your money to the league instead of the cable companies, this is what I do:
Download a VPN like TunnelBear (it's free up to a certain MB usage, like 500MB). Turn on the app and pretend you're from Mexico or Cameroon. Visit the NBA website and sign up for League Pass. Purchase.
Everytime you want to watch, turn on Tunnelbear and log into NBA. Start watching one of the games, and once you have a steady connection, turn off Tunnelbear (or VPN app of your choice). Enjoy the rest of your NBA evening.
It seems complicated but it becomes routine. And it's less illegal and more reliable than streams.

I'm in the same boat. What I decided to do, and am really happy with, is get a VPN service (AirVPN in my case) and create an NBA League Pass account with it turned on. To the NBA LP website it appears as though I'm logging in from Romania (you can choose multiple countries, Romania had the best LP pricing that I could find), so I'm able to view Lakers games, and it turns out the Romanian prices for League Pass are pretty cheap. You can rent a months worth of games for 6$ or get the whole season, there's all kinds of options. You can even purchase individual games. It sounds complicated but it really isn't, and its much cheaper than paying for cable.
It's not Sportsnet, but you can buy League Pass and stream that way. If you live in LA (I live in Chino) and have blackout restrictions, download a VPN app like "TunnelBear" and set your location to Mexico. You're able to subscribe and load the Laker games just fine as long as the VPN is on, and then you can turn off the VPN once the stream has started to save on bandwidth.

Wesley Matthews went from an elite defender to not even talked about in defensive conversations. Now imagine a big man, who weighs much more and is regularly hopping around, protecting the rim, grabbing boards and finishing on the roll of a pick and roll.
I don't think it makes them any more unfair than they already are, in fact, I'd be surprised if he's included in their death lineup.

We were literally the worst defensive team in basketball last season in terms of defensive efficiency, 27th in points against, and 29th in opposing FG% allowed. Ingram, Deng, and Mosgov are nice additions and it's nice to think that Clarkson, D'Lo and Randle will improve defensively, but we'll almost certainly still be in the bottom two-thirds of the league.

Tunnel Bear. VPN service, free (up to 500GB a month).
Turn on TunnelBear and check off "Mexico". Go to league pass, buy it cheap (I think I'm at $90? After the exchange rate? It's my 3rd year in a row so who knows).
Load up your game. Since you're from "Mexico" (or Angola or whatever), no blackouts. Turn off TunnelBear once the game stream has played for a minute or so. It won't detect that you're back in Los Angeles unless you refresh the page or so. I've gone six hours of continuous NBA games before I had to re-tunnel.
League Pass charges you automatically like a week before the Preseason. You can turn it off if you didn't like the service, but man, fuck the streams. I've had no complaints (although I can understand people wanting to play on their phone or tablet) but I just Chromecast the game from my laptop and chill with my Laker homies (and the occasional Nets game to put into perspective how much better we have it LOL)
I got ExpressVPN. Takes 5 minutes to buy and setup. It comes with a ton of ways to use the VPN. I chose to download an app directly onto my Mac. So then I just fire up the app, set it to connect to a VPN in India. Once connected just browse the web like normal (all languages may be in the Indian language and display right to left) I purchased league pass using all my normal US billing info and that was it.
VPN most likely. My cousin spends 6 mos. of the year in CANADA, so he uses NordVPN to connect to the nearest server in the states--Seattle. Some games are blacked out in Canada, hence the VPN. Can't confirm that NordVPN always works-- only that he's used it in the past. It's something like 12.00/mo. or you can buy the YEARLY for something around 36.00. You might wanna do your homework on which VPN's play nice with League Pass. I know that ESPN+ doesn't work for some people with VPN, so they went str8 to League Pass. Might be a Disney DRM thing...I believe there's a NORDVPN subreddit. Ask around

Cousins is going to have a lot less pressure on him to produce in the post since he will playing alongside AD. He was the only threat to score in Golden State from the post since Draymond isn’t much of a threat offensively in the post. They also rushed him back from his quad injury in the post season. Should be very interesting to see how he plays after a full offseason.

It's still a risk though, and as Windhorst pointed out on today's Hoop Collective podcast (at about 6 minutes in), because this is now a pre-existing condition for Ingram, no team will ever be able to insure any of his contracts against blood clots for the rest of his career the way the Heat did with Bosh (which allowed for the insurance company to have to pay off most of his contract, rather than the Heat doing it).
Windhorst said that in talking to executives around the league, this kind of thing will lower his perceived value because if he gets another clot, it could end his career. Because of this, shouldn't the Lakers look to sign him for cheap? If Ingram says no, he wants a max and is willing to risk going into next season with no contract beyond 2020, then that's his choice. But it's entirely possible he'll now be more willing to take a discount than he would have been two weeks ago. Just something to consider.

I arrived at Staples around 8:45 this morning and didn't realize just how massive the memorial had grown over the past few days. There weren't a ton of people there, which only made the mournful tone that much more impactful. I hung around for about an hour and FaceTimed my brother so he could also experience it. I signed our names in red sharpie on one of the (now many) remembrance banners and started to head out.
As I left LA Live walking back up Fig, I nearly forgot about the tribute down the street across from the convention center. I doubled back and captured this shot as the sun broke through the towers.
As a 34 year old guy born and raised here, I've never seen anything like this in my lifetime. Respect to anyone and everyone that's shown love and support to LA. We love you.

The tide has totally shifted. With the bucks starting to stumble a little bit after the Heat loss and Giannis getting hurt at the end of the game vs the Lakers makes me feel like its starting to shift towards Lebron. The media is really stirring it up which makes us all stop and think about it deeper. I think he made a big imprint this weekend, but that win over the Clippers helped him gain ground or even up the MVP race
If I had to a gun to my head and had to pick two teams at this present moment I would pick the Lakers or the Bucks. I think both of those teams are playing the best basketball at the moment. The Clippers are a team that can win, I just think they're not in sync with each other and they still have to incorporate new pieces. The Raptors do intrigue me a little bit because of their championship pedigree, but I need to see who's going to make the big shots this year in the playoffs for them. I think the Pocket Rockets are a wildcard to teams out west, because that style is so annoying to guard and IF their making shots, thats going to be a tough out. I will say this is going to be a great playoffs on both sides.

A super cheap Amazon fire stick has VPN apps. I personally use ExpressVPN, but I'm *sure* others work just as well.
It's not a hard problem to solve, but there is some cost (streaming stick, VPN subscription, League Pass subscription).
You have a laptop with you? Mobile device? Get a VPN somewhere like NordVPN. Turn it on and pick something like India. Buy a team league pass. Every time there’s a game on, turn VPN on, watch the game then turn it back off.
You have to have a VPN. I have Private Internet Access. It's something like $4 a month or $40 for the year.
Once you have a VPN, you have to select a server from South Africa. Then you just go to the nba website and search for League Pass. Once you make the purchase, you don't have to sign in again.
I’m late to the party but I thought my experience is good to document. This is the only SportsNet + VPN issue post I could find.
I used to be able to stream live games and AirPlay from my phone to TV, but since 14.4ish I got OP’s detected VPN problem. I do have NordVPN and AdGuard installed, but I don’t have NordVPN active while streaming on SportsNet. I tried deleting both apps to see if they were causing the problem but it did not work. When I switch off WiFi to cellular, I can stream the games.
Oddly enough, I can still stream on WiFi using my iPad, latest iPadOS version. So I wish I could say it’s a WiFi problem like OP, but this problem is only showing up on my phone.

Maybe not yet, but typically a replica championship ring will copy both form and function but with far cheaper materials. Proof of point, the warriors 2018 ring had a removable top with a reversible piece. Below you will find a link to a cheap 20 dollar version that has a removable top. Any led strips will do but I noticed the USB powered ones don’t get nearly as bright. My displays are at 100% compared to 30% on the desk and TV stand. USB was easy to use on the displays though in order to hide the cables.

I'm only 56 pages in, but I'm reading Golden Days, which juxtaposes the 60s and 70s Jerry West Lakers with Steph's Warriors. West is involved in both teams, of course as an exec for the Dubs.
It doesn't align exactly with what you'relooking for, but you get to meet West the person, and the world he lived in. Light on actual playing stories, more his experiences and psyche.
This is one for you to read later though, but you'll like it. It tells alot about the big personalities in the 60s and 70s, as well as today's, with West's observations on these two eras.

No blackout games. I only signed up for the single team pass, so only got laker games. That was the cheapest option. I’m not sure how the playoffs would work..haven’t had the chance to see the team in the THATS ABOUT TO CHANGE!!!
I was using a VPN extension on Chrome for a bit, but it messed with the login process on occasionally (couldn’t login or misdirected me back to the US league pass website) but once I switched over to PrivateVPN everything worked perfectly.
Only thing I miss are the exclusive Lakers content on Sportsnet.
Just a heads up, my brother has league pass and it's almost always blacked out for him and he's in Northern California. It could just be because of Kobe's farewell tour, but just a warning! I highly recommend looking into "Private Internet Access" VPN. This will allow you to connect to a remote server giving the illusion to the NBA league pass that you're out of the area. So if you select to connect to say... North Dakota... You're probably not gonna have a blackout. If it's a national game on ESPN (usually a blackout) and you still want to watch via league pass then you can select somewhere like Sydney AU or somewhere they wouldn't have the ESPN feed.
I had league pass when I lived in Napa/Sonoma about 5yrs ago and it was the same issue of constant blackouts and couldn't be resolved until I setup the VPN. (Private Internet access makes it easy to turn VPN on and off and just as easy to select where you want your location to appear).

There was one I saw a while ago that said "History of the Lakers" or something like that.
It talked about the Lakers from the beginning all the way to the Kobe-Shaq championships I think.
I haven't seen it in a while though so I'm not sure if it is still around.
