It sounds like some sort of B or C part for "Over the Rainbow." Attached is a recreation I made to help figure it out. I know it's kind of far fetched, but around measure four-five it sounds the the "rain-bow" lyric. Maybe some sort of medley containing Over the Rainbow?
Not an app but you can use https://flat.io/ to write out the specific music. The UI is a tad clunky but generally easy enough to use. I hope that helps, if you have any questions if be happy to answer them.
Sheet music for anyone who wants to use it! Sorry woodwinds :(
I only ask that if you use it, record it and either email or message the recording to me.
While this is unlikely, you can drink too much water! I mention it because you said you drink "as much water as you could". Also because some things you mention can be signs of too much water. Here are some symptoms:
>You might be hot, have a headache and just feel crummy. Other early symptoms can include diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
Here's a link with more info.

Of course, I have no idea if this applies to you, but you might want to try to get a real idea of how much you are drinking. Regardless of how much we drink, few of us really know accurately at all.
And, of course, if you think you are drinking a lot, but don't know if it may be too much, ask a doctor - because I'm sure not one!

I play bass clarinet too (as you can obviously see). My friends use this one but I use a single hook. I didn't think of it at the time but I'm glad I got the single hook because there are times during the show when you have to unhook the instrument and it's a much bigger hassle to rehook 2 than it is for 1. Especially when you're moving at 160 bpm. No matter what you choose, I recommend getting one with the style of hook that this one has because a fatter saxophone style one won't fit in the small holes of a marching bass
Headphones really don’t matter, even something cheat like the EarPods that come with your phone are fine. AirPods or a Bose/raycon type thing are the most commonly used option. For a mic, I recommend this it’s studio quality, easy to use and only $50.
I use Tonal Energy too, but honestly - Tempo by FrozenApe is probably the best mobile device stand alone metronome for either Android or iOS. There is also Tempo Advance if you want to work with polyrhythm, but the regular Tempo is great for me 95% of the time.

like I said, do your research on the runcam action cams, but this'll point you in the right direction.
You could get this if you want a lyre or get one of these if you already have a lyre

havent actually bought any so i cant give a personal review
This harness is awesome for helping w pain and stuff like that. I’m pretty tiny with a plethora of medical problem but it sure comes through

Band mom to a kid who marched bari here. This harness worked well all 4 years, including for the 5.5 miles of the Rose Parade.
To camouflage the straps in uniform, our uniform moms wrapped them in white fabric secured with Velcro.
I got mine from Mendini for $150 USD, but I do not think the sell them anymore. Here is one from another reputable brand!

Yes. this is from Friday, we put props in and the preshow, sets 1-9 (we start at 9 in the video), the transition from 2-3 and balanced everything on Saturday, this was our first time performing it, it's a little rough https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipOPMwLyrrOzbKUSlXbqJ6Z_AA2Pbl684N1QmTUa9HilbtxsXyyrDwKgNPlSf1Kllw/photo/AF1QipNoH1gEXlg6DazaMlXRdAqk0_UuWshV_it6lWzN?key=b0RjNXZKdFdOeFRwbFlQSVQ1NHJiVHI5LTZxSHhB

I have a cool idea that I might actually compose when i finish the show I’m working on now. So right now just a potential name I have is “into the limelight” and it’d be about how being a celebrity can tear someone apart and how fame isn’t always glorious. I only have two ideas for songs I could use and those are “Fences” by Paramore and “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga (id use paparazzi for the ballad). Here’s a link to a ballad arrangement of Paparazzi I made if you’re interested:

I used to use these mainly when I was running met or tracking with the battery. You could absolutely invest in something higher quality, but these worked great for me to dampen the sounds (and keep me from getting headaches).
I understand that this is a bit late but I've found myself lucky enough to march with two other bari saxes, especially as my main instrument is the oboe ( I picked up bari in January 2021).
Saxholder- get one that locks all three of us march with one and it helps to distribute the weight across shoulders and your stomach/chest area. The only downsides to a saxholder is sitting down or if you march bari diagonally, since my band marches straight in front of us the saxholder is a life saver but to the side its a bit iffy, however I still use mine when I sit for both bassoon and bari so its plausible. The only other problem i find myself dealing with because of the saxholder is slides make it get slightly dislodged, but other than that I don't have many complaints.
I'd also recommend a wrist compression sleeve for your right hand and a compression glove, using both work absolute wonders for me (I have tendonitis in both wrists) and even helps one of our other bari players. Also investing in a good right hand carpal tunnel brace if your wrist starts to hurt and wearing that while not practicing work wonders.
Stretch too- I don't know how well emphasized this is in your band but finding good wrist, arm and back stretches work wonders. I have a few particular ones I like for my back and they both help loosen it but also prepare me for slides too.

sending this to my sousaphone playing friend to see what he says lmao.
something similar happened to one of my friends in my section a couple years ago. we were walking across the field and he didn’t have his hands on his saxophone and it was just hanging from his neck when the hook of it snapped off. i’m not sure how it happened because it was a neck strap with a hook similar to a Neotech one (one of these) and the bell of it bent down a lot like the sousaphone’s in the picture except it was in the front. it wasn’t his instrument so when he turned it in at the end of the year he said it was like that when it was given to him. he still has the broken neck strap in his new case i think 💀
I recommend these or something similar. They’re hi-fidelity and give ~20db of protection. I was recommended these for marching drum corps so they’re good for when it’s super loud. If you’re into percussion and are a Vic fan then these are nice for some brand loyalty and are essentially the same as the former.
Hey, I'm starting marching band this year as well at 14, but I play tenor saxophone. I actually have this neck strap that I have had about a year which is built with adjustable plastic pieces that puts the weight on your shoulders instead of your neck. It's called a saxophone holder pro. It's been a help for me and it actually in my opinion makes it easier to march and play while standing. Here's a link to one on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Jazzlab-SAXHOLDER-Saxophone-Harness/dp/B005J3EZZY/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=saxophone+holder+pro&qid=1622389691&sr=8-4 They can be a little pricey, but if you plan on continuing on in marching it's worth the investment. I will say it also makes playing in concert band a lot nicer because after an hour long concert you don't feel like your neck just got snapped by SCP-173.
As anyone who has read/listened to A Murder of Manatees^(1) knows, manatees are both thorough in their vengeance and rather indiscriminate in meting it out (due to their poor eyesight.) Do NOT irritate the manatees.

You can get nylon straps for $7-$10 (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Zildjian-Nylon-Cymbal-Straps-Pair/dp/B07PWVSRXL) or make your own for a few dollars by buying nylon webbing. Cymbal gloves like those by seavine are more for reducing friction so you can do more flips and stuff, especially if it's off the hand. For simple flips and notes, you shouldn't need gloves to play them. Marching cymbals will always be at least somewhat uncomfortable though.
I will recommend this mic and these headphones . Those are fair and moderate prices. Always check the reviews before you buy something!

Currently, for band camp I've been using these KN95 masks that work pretty well, and they're super easy to breathe out of. Our school is making masks for us though, that have a super tiny slit in the middle (which sorta defeats the purpose of a mask but not really when marching) that we can stick our mouthpieces through.
I use these: Achiou Touchscreen Knit Gloves... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077M5Q6FG?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
I love these. They are grippy on the front side, just thick enough to be warm, but not too thick to make life suck. I march French horn (not mellophone) and they work great for me.
Try to be as prepared as possible. Get a cinch sack to carry with you. Include things like deodorant, bandaids, sunscreen, a water bottle, copies of music, a hat, rotor/valve oil, and slide grease.
If you play stand tunes at football games, make sure you have a flipfolder with plenty of pages. If the flipfolder coms with crappy plastic rings, replace them with these. Spend time before each game organizing your folder with important songs at the front followed by all stand tunes in alphabetical order. All of the "slightly less organized" people in you section will thank you when they can look off your music or use a bandaid when they need one.
By being organized and prepared, you'll have an even greater time with band!
Hey G413i3l, It's nice to meet you and great question. Before I talk about the functionality behind our UPP Pad, I thought that it'd be important to state that this pad is just a supplement to our mission: We want to enable drummers to play/practice anywhere. We plan to role out other products in the future.
In terms of the functionality, take a look at the description within our product listing on either Amazon or our Main Site: https://movementdrum.co/products/the-ultra-portable-practice-pad https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Portable-Practice-Pad-Black/dp/B01F320XLK
The functionalities of our products and the other pads that you've used probably have some overlap, but we wanted to create a pad that makes the most sense for our mission.
We have a video of it being used in our instagram feed: movementdrumco Let me know if you have any other questions- feel free to PM me directly.
