Which VPN do you have? I bought an Amazon firestick for $30 and have it plugged into my TV. I downloaded the ExpressVPN app on the firestick and set my location to Denver. I then open the app on the firestick and can watch Twins games on the TV. Works really well for me and doesn’t feel dodgy.

Finally home; I bought and subscribed to NordVPN to avoid blackouts, and I see we're in the lead!
Only shitty thing I can think of is that the game doesn't seem to be captioned, even with "Enable Closed Captioning" on. D:)
Can't find a poster version online but there is a metal sign version here
Playstation Vue might be a possibility. They offer Fox Sports North on one of the upgraded packages. Not sure how it works but worth investigating.
I usually use NordVPN and it works fine to stream as long as I pick a server outside of the blackout area.
Edit: I do get through T-Mobile though. So I don't know if I actually have a credit card on file!
I have heard great things about Unlocator. It does have a minimal subscription fee, but there is a free trial to make sure it works for you.
I'm in Nevada, so I do not have any problems with the Twins getting blacked out except for when they play Oakland or San Francisco. I was going to try the Unlocator app for hockey this season, but ended up not getting the NHL subscription.
I'd say try it for free and see if it works. If you do, let us know how it goes.

Believe this should get you to them. They are all pretty quick short so easy listens. Interviews teammates and coaches. Think he does a lot of them on the team plane lol.
This! is the link for the podcast of that days show. I believe the interview was in the final hour.
I enjoyed Bremer's book - Game Used. Still hoping he'll narrate an audiobook version some day. As a Twins fan I can almost guarantee you'll love it.
Yes, MLB TV to get the actual games. If you live out of the blackout area, then nothing left for you to do. If you live in a blackout zone, you can either just watch the game afterwards or use a VPN or proxy to get around the blackout (using either is not illegal). Unblock-Us is a good one and does have a free trial. I've heard that free trial doesn't seem to end at the moment for people that signed up recently, but no idea if that is true.
I use Unblock-Us with my subscription, but any VPN that can change your location will do the trick. Unblock-Us costs like $5 a month and I just set my location to the United Kingdom and I can watch everything - including the playoffs, which are blacked out nationally on . The monthly charge is easily worth it for me since I don't have cable. I'm still saving a ton of money.
You could use the Fake Location Spoofer Free app to make the app think you were outside the blackout, and I loved it because then I could watch games at work. That just stopped working tonight though.
EDIT: Nevermind, fixed. See original comment.
Accuweather says 51% rain and 4pm and 32% chance of rain at 6pm and the percentages go down as the night goes. Could be some sprinkles and maybe a short rain delay??

NordVPN is what I'm trying. If I go to like it does show I'm connected from wherever I chose in the Nord application so I'm pretty sure it's working. But if I tried logging into MLB (cleared the browser cache and everything) while connected elsewhere it said "Internal Error, please try again." Disconnecting and going back to my actual location I could log in again. So I think it was just that...hopefully...
Thanks for confirming it does/can work, I'll give it another go tonight after staying logged out for a while.
If you're in the wider Fargo area, you're listening to KROX, the voice of the valley!
The only way I know this is because of the ProBaseball app
KROX is by far the most reliable station for me to listen to the Twins from outside the state.
As a sidenote, I get used to listening to ads for things around Crookston.
I think you mean cord, not chord. The second one is a music thing. I think you'd be stuck with and some kind of VPN or Unlocator to make it look like you're not in the broadcast area. That also means you'll have to use a computer and no phone or tv (you can hook the computer up to a tv) because those things give the app your location faithfully. I think there is a way to use Unlocator on a modem or router, but I never figured it out.
Yeah there are definitely cheaper VPNs. Mozilla uses Mullvad and has gone out of their way to verify that they’re not monitoring and/or selling your personal data, something a lot of them do. Plus it goes to support Firefox, so the extra dollars don’t bother me too much.
Had the same thing happen to me with Surfshark. It worked great with my firestick but midway through the year it stopped working on the MLB app. I'm using a firestick and MLB app for dodger games. I'll try ExpressVPN to see if it works. Thanks
Really? It full crapped out on me midseason. Couldn't load on any game on any device as long as it was on. Found some talk of them tweaking something to make not work, and jumped ship to ExpressVPN. Had a couple friends say the same thing.
I've never had an issue using ExpressVPN myself. They've blocked me from certain locations but it never lasts and you'll never run out of IPs to bounce off of.
i.e. I've been blocked from displaying Seattle so I may have to pretend I'm watching in Texas for a week lol
Depending upon what VPN service you have, they might have a TV app. I know ExpressVPN has an Android TV app. I have an Nvidia Shield TV, but that is overkill for most folks, so a Chromecast with Google TV will allow you to download their app through the Play Store, set up the VPN on your TV and then use as well.
I get annoyed with a lot of the stuff Google does, but the flexibility of Android TV is the reason I try and switch everyone I know over from Roku since Roku is increasingly locking down their OS from stuff like this.
Assuming you aren't in a country that bans their use (mostly dystopian wastelands where dictators still rule), you should have no issue using a VPN. You will need to pay, usually on an annual or monthly basis. A lot of podcasts (including Gleeman & the Geek) do occasional promos that will help save you cash on them.
ExpressVPN, ProtonVPN, and NordVPN are generally regarded as the best/most trustworthy VPN's available to consumers. Just keep in mind that using a VPN usually "erodes" your internet speeds as a result of the routing they must do. That shouldn't be an issue if you have good home internet (100mbps+), but if you have poor home internet (25mbps or less) it's probably going to prevent you from streaming effectively.
I'll be heading to the game after hitting up Clockwerks brewing around 6:00 as they have a nice Groupon going on right now.
10 and 11 both had Mauer, which I know from playing them all day on many occasions. The only one I could find on Amazon for any platform was 11 for PS3, but only pre-owned. It is going for $15 which is fairly steep considering the age of the game.

If anyone wants an easy workaround, get an MLBTV subscription (free for T Mobile as well) and then ExpressVPN is $10 per month. Essentially can make it look like you're watching the game from a completely different state. I understand if that's still too much $ for some fans but I know for as much as I watch baseball, being able to see 29 other teams and tacking the Twins on for $10/month was worth it.
If we had won just one more game in the post season, I would have tried to drag my post c-section ass to Target Field with my 1 week old. Instead we had to wait until late July to start his first "regular season". My husband and I met on Match.com and my profile picture was me with Tony Oliva (as a test to see if folks were real Twins fans) and it worked! We're excited to be raising a little Twins fan, and my love of Kepler is a big influence, but as you can see we have a little La Tortuga love as well. His first Twins gift was a Homer Hanky last season from his uncle brought to him while still in the hospital - and given to a fellow new mom who needed a Twins gear item to offset her husband's Yankee's gear he brought for baby.
I use Private Internet Access, but it doesn't have a Fire Store app for FireStick/TV, so if you have that you need to do third party download direct from them. I haven't put it on our FireStick yet to see how well it works personally, but it supposedly works. Seems to work well and have an app/installer for most other things.
Otherwise ExpressVPN or IPVanish are good options too.
They're sick. via Amazon. Pretty low quality chinese stuff but they're comfortable and look dope paired with a navy Twins tee.
It’s on Amazon here and if your wife would like a different style you can click on the blue link that says “awesome baseball rally squirrel” for more options. Go Twins!!

I also live in Wisconsin and listen to Twins games while outside with my kids in the evenings. I use the Pro Baseball Radio app. 100% free and I have never had issues with quality. Very easy to use.
This isn't a new question. There have been tons of studies checking this, including a chapter in one of the most famous baseball research books: Tom Tango's The Book. That was just the first one I found. I added another one, and you can read The Book if you want more information. BvP stats are descriptive stats, not predictive ones.
