It's currently only possible to block anonymous calls on Galaxy phones or iPhones. So you'll have to use an app. I recommend https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mistergroup.muzutozvednout
Go to the in-app settings menu > Block incoming calls from... > Unknown numbers. Be sure to give the app the permissions it needs tho. Otherwise it won't work.
You can try this app to add the feature. It doesn't work 100% of the time in my experience, but I've also never messed with the settings too much.
I was initially disappointed with image quality using the Motorola and Google camera apps on my G5+, but have had better results using OpenCamera.
You can use this to add 'night mode' to the quick toggles, which is like f.lux and reduces blues in the screen to reduce eye strain and potentially prevent sleep issues for users. It took a bit of fiddling for me to get to the toggle to appear, and the auto setting doesn't work but having the manual option is still a great bonus, especially considering it doesn't require any additional software on the phone.
TurboCharger is a rebrand of QuickCharge. I bought this charger Gearbest link and it does work the same way the included charger works. The Qualcomm chargers are backwards compatible so you could also get a generic 3.0 charger which should work fine as well.
I've got these click me
Volume Up/Down works and so does the mic. Doublepress the play button skips a song and triple press rewinds. Works quite well and sound is really good for that price
crDroid has an official Android 11 version (crDroid 7.3 at the time of this writing) for G5 Plus (potter): https://crdroid.net/potter
I've been using this ROM for a few days (started with crDroid 7.2 and upgraded to 7.3 today) with no real issues so far (except OTA upgrade didn't work, I had to manually reboot to recovery mode and install the image from TWRP).
Android OS 11 itself seems to be using slightly more RAM than Android 10 (0.98 GB vs 0.8x GB reported on Developer options -> Memory -> Memory used by apps), but in total RAM usage it's actually less (right now it says 2.1GB out of 3.0GB average use).
Before when I tried Pixel Experience Plus and AOSIP (both Android 10 based ROMs), I was getting between 2.2 and 2.6 GB average memory use. I have roughly the same apps installed now that I had before, so maybe Android 11 makes a different management of what stays in RAM when not in use or something like that...
So far I haven't noticed any major differences between android 10 and 11, but this ROM seems to be working fine and is updated regularly, so I think I'll stick to this now for a while...

This is the root version☝️
Basically a swapper is an app which takes away the storage and allocates it to the RAM as Virtual Ram... This might be confusing... But just assume... It gives you extra Ram but takes away equal amount of storage
I use this. Turn it on, lock your phone, then no fingerprint will get you back in... Just your PIN or password. Then unlock, turn off, back to fingerprinting again.
Open source and on F-Droid too.
Definitely gold.
I just checked Amazon and found THIS ONE AVAILABLE
It isn't the one we bought, this one has only has 2gb ram and 32gb of storage which I have heard sort of under performs.
We got the one with 4gb ram and 64gb storage which seems to only be available used
You might want to try Muzei instead of Wonderwall. It has options to blur and dim the background images and the home screen icons are much more visible and almost float above the background. There are many Muzei add-ons for adding new wallpaper sources.
I have the Spigen Rugged Armour. No glass protection.
I think Anker is one of the best as far as cables an chargers go. I don't use a braided cable, but these look good.
You can use any Micro USB cable/car charger to charge your phone, but I'd recommend getting something like this to take advantage of the phone's quick charge capabilities. I have one in the car and it's great.
I went from an N5 to iPhone 6 and am now on G5+. I don't miss the notification light at all. Compass is more accurate on the G5 than the other two devices. Only slightly larger, almost can't tell in my hand. The battery on the G5 is the killer feature for me. I can go 2 days without a charge and QuickCharge works well.
I recommend this case for the G5. Slim, light, and just enough grip.
I do miss my fast updates with Nexus. G5 OTAs are very slow to roll to my phone on Verizon.
The Mexican/Latin American version (xt1671) has NFC and dual sim and works on T-Mo and ATT in the US.
The con is 2/32 rather than 4/64.
You probably have already found a case, but if not, Lightning Knight do a gel case that you can pick up on Amazon.
Will that keep it from bending in pocket? It seems to be a soft flexible case. The Moto G5 plus badly failed jerryrigeverythings bend test and I've bent a galaxy note 3 in my pocket enough to crack the screen so I'm not too confident about the Moto G5 plus without a good case. For reference the note 3 has been one of the best phones as far as bendabilitybir lack thereof goes. I've also been looking forward to an otter box for the G5 plus but I've done research and the last normal g phone that had one was the 3rd gen and no plus has.i was looking into getting this: Moto G5 Plus Case, Motorola Moto X 2017 Case, OEAGO [Shockproof] [Impact Protection] Tough Rugged Dual Layer Protective Case with Kickstand for Motorola Moto G5 Plus / Moto X 2017 - Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X6GMHJ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_POX4ybZA3SG0R what would you say about my needs and whether I should get this or the diztronic?
I got this app accubattery https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.digibites.accubattery&hl=en
I charge to 70-80% and that's it and try to keep it above 40% if possible. No clue if it'll help the battery last longer.
If I am not around the charger then I will charge to 100% and use it like normal.
NoLED ist for Amoled Displays mainly. Why dont you use the built in moto display? Maybe with the handwave app? MotoDisplay Handwave
