Hey man, I saw this post and love your spirit.
I'm no Geno Smith, but if you're interested in Jets autographs, I can offer you mine. Email me your name and address and I'll send something out to you. Email me at . Thanks for being a great Jets fan, and I hope you're excited for next season like we all are!
Hey everyone. I didn't think this would take off like this. Thank you all so much for your kind words and emails. A lot of you are asking for your own autographs- which I'd love to give out, but I just don't have the time!
My IndieGoGo campaign is ending soon and we haven't reached our goal yet. If you guys could help me spread the word, or even donate just a couple of bucks, I would appreciate it more than you'd know.

Also, if anyone is interested is coming with me and my brothers to Haiti, email me at and I'll give you the details. Pass this along too. The more people that have their lives touched by these kids, the better.
Sorry if any of this sounds like I'm politicing! I'm just trying to get the word out! Thank you all again. Go Jets!
There was only one other punt the whole game and it was on the first drive.

Out of the remaining 1-5 and 0-6 teams the Jets would lose the strength of schedule tiebreaker to all other teams.
Current draft order(based on ESPN's playoff standings):
Browns 0-6 .571 SOS
Panthers 1-5 .545 SOS
Bears 1-5 .559 SOS
49ers 1-5 .571 SOS
Jets 1-5 .588 SOS
My girlfriend (whose birthday is tomorrow) is the biggest fitzpatrick fan. You just made her day.
EDIT: more info
> Our special guest will not be signing personal items. Customers will receive a signed autograph at the time they meet Chris Ivory and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
that's too bad, my girlfriend has a fitzpatrick jersey she'd want signed
I tend not to look at PFF grades, or base any arguments off them, but their stat charting is incredibly useful. Here's what they have to say about Becton:
> Louisville’s offense this past season was extremely run and play action heavy. Among PFF’s top five tackles, Becton’s 73 true pass sets were 40 fewer than anyone else. On the flip side, his 8 pressures allowed though on those true pass sets were the most.
Compare this to Thomas or Wills, who both have 2+ years of quality play under their belt in the SEC (Thomas gave up one sack this year), or Wirfs, who is a solid prospect who played under Ferentz, who puts quality OL in the NFL every year. There are questions about all three, but at worst, Wills is a RT, and Thomas and Wirfs can kick inside to guard. Becton cannot play guard. If he can't play tackle, he's unplayable, and the likelihood of this happening is much higher than the other three because he doesn't have the experience they do. There's no doubt his ceiling is up there with the other 3, but because he doesn't have the college production, his floor is lower.
The Stick To Football podcast, which is probably the best draft podcast out there, gave a good brief overview of the top 5 OTs this week. It's definitely worth a listen starting at 23:22. They put into words what I'm trying to explain way better than I can.
Nice. I’ll look into these. Replacing power step insoles as they break down at $25-35 a pop is rough. If these work just as well, this’ll be great. Thank you!

Here’s the sandals I use. Looks like they only go to size 14, so sorry that doesn’t help you. I’m still posting it though I’m case someone else needs them. It also looks like they have a couple different styles now, which is nice.
Resharing my comment on another post:
I use ExpressVPN with my brother and it's $99.95/yr so we split that. You buy the software, install it and it allows you to connect to a server in a location that you aren't in which 'spoofs' your location to streaming services.
I use it to pay like $30 for NBA League Pass via India lol (love dem rupees). This is also how he is able to watch Knick games (I'm a Heat fan) on League Pass since YTTV doesn't have MSG.
I use YouTube TV already (which is like $73/mo at this point - might as well be cable ugh) + ExpressVPN and I've been able to watch the last two preseason games as if I was sitting in a expensive studio in Manhattan lol.
I started looking for ways to do this after experiencing NFL Gamepass which is UTTER HOT GARBAGE. NBA League Pass is 10000000x better and I wish the NFL would rip it off.
NOTE: After I moved from Albany to Tampa in March, my brother was not able to use the VPN to fool YouTube TV that he wasn't in Tampa but was in NYC. I have a hunch that it is because he was logged in as a 'family member' and not the YTTV account holder (me). So, disclaimer, YMMV. But I've had great success with it.
These are the absolute best I ever had. Especially for my size (16) it's near impossible.
I would get out of bed in morning and it would take my breath away ... then I been using a dorsal sock at night + these insoles and it's a complete 180. No.sock needed. My feet are still sore because of my job and hours but finding what helps is the best.
I try not to walk barefoot. I normally wear crocs around house
$12MM is low for a QB. He's had a bunch of bad games but I fully expect him to even out over the next few. If he wasn't streaky, he'd be making $20MM.
From this article on ESPN by Sharon Katz & Jacob Nitzberg, "Best and worst QB performances from Week 2."
overwheming evidence? Hyperbole much?
the evidence is flimsy. the two QBs are much closer than you present them when you literally only call people delusional.
Geno has made strides for improvement from season 1 to season 2 despite a terrible OC, meaningful player injuries, and general lack of talent on offense. He has been hot and cold, but it's not like he's shown us nothing.
Meanwhile, the overwhelming evidence you seem to have is that Fitz has been OK for years and last year was his best yet, after 9 years in the big leagues. His game log, btw, has some stinkers, if you look. I will admit that he was great last season (for those 11 games he played - not counting that last colts game). The cold reality is Fitz is a journeyman who is average at best, despite his latest resurgence. If Fitz can play at a high level on the jets, there is no reason to think geno cannot.
When the decision between two players is upside vs known quantity, you ALWAYS CHOOSE THE UPSIDE. Fitz is here to hedge a bet. That bet is Rookie QB or Geno. Geno starts until they pull the plug. Fitz will step in and do well.
seriously: Find more words that mean delusional.

Yeah with the black jersey a standard black matched well enough.
"Burned Boats and Broken Pots"
In The Art of War, Sun Tzu says that a general, by way of steeling his men to fight to the death, burns his boats and breaks his cooking pots.
I don't actually play fantasy, but that's what I'd go with if I did.
E: OK, the name probably should've had something to do with the Jets. How about "The Human Geno Project"?
i'd recommend just getting something like this:
https://smile.amazon.com/Outland-Firebowl-863-Portable-Diameter/dp/B073SMX1TC/
open fire doesn't mean covered or uncovered. it describes any combustible fueled fire pit.
Leo is exciting to watch no doubt. He benefits from Mo's presence, I found this here article that puts it better than I could:
>The most glaring example came on Leonard Williams' strip sack in the fourth quarter. The Steelers slid their protection to Wilkerson's side, doubling him. That left Williams singled up against the left tackle, and he bull-rushed him into Roethlisberger. Wilkerson indirectly affected that play.
You can get any generic over the air antenna and connect it to your TV. My antenna is nothing special but I linked it below just to give a working example. Years ago, I cancelled cable and use Antenna only for Jets football. Picture quality is really good.
$22 Antenna I purchased from Amazon

Since it's early Saturday, I'm sure you can pick one up from an electronics store today (perhaps at Best Buy). You can try it out for tomorrow's preseason game and see if you like it.
It's super easy and you don't have to go to your roof. My Antenna is in my living room by the window.
Got two links for ya:
I bought it on Amazon a few years ago, looks like they are sold out. Hopefully the links works so you can be emailed when they are back in stock. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003IJOGV4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_ud_dp_CVK7Y2NFBWSFE78H0G10 Imperial Officially Licensed Home Furnishings: NFL Team Home Field Area Rug, New York Jets, 5'4" x 7'8"
ESPN Todd McShay possibility joining Douglas on the Jets will be a great move. They moving on to the right path. A recent episode of NY Jets Fans podcast has been posted. Click the link and give it a listen. #TakeFlight #JetUp

I know this will get lost, but I wanted to point out that Revis gets to choose how he lines up on a defender. I don't know why Revis doesn't play on the line as much, but my guess is he either knows he lost a step, or he's adjusting to how aggressive refs are with defensive holding/illegal contact now.
> Coach Todd Bowles said Revis has the freedom to decide on his own whether he wants to play bump-and-run or "off" coverage.
The one bad thing that would come out of Darnold playing great in the future is that this would justify Mac keeping his job. Besides "he needs to choose his own HC", the other excuse for retaining him was "bUt He DrAfTeD dArNoLd". It reminds me of what John B said in his podcast yesterday, that Andrew Luck saved some incompetent coaches' deficiencies earlier in his career when he put the team on his back.
We were lucky to be shit last season for CJ and the fanbase to realize that Bowles wasn't the answer at HC. Mac should've gone with him. I don't want to see us being held back cuz we can't hit on any picks outside of the first round. We can only hope Mac improves and learns from his mistakes.
In the end, I agree with you. I even said the same exact thing in the game thread, so I'm no better.
But I think it's a sign that he's unraveling under the pressure, which is bad because he has been shaky with his mental game to begin with. Telling the crowd to fuck off/flipping them off is usually a sign that a player is on his way out.
If you listen to this podcast this guy puts forth a pretty good argument that he's had a well rounded career on both sides of the ball

Sorry I can't cue it up
This is such an incredible piece of Jets history! Thank you!! If I can think of any better way to rip that DVD I'll send it along. Are you on a Mac or PC?
EDIT: What about MPEG Streamclip?

>Safeties are one of the most important positions in football
if you really think that then I have some recommended reading for you:

You can buy a VPN subscription from UnoTelly and then purchase gamepass directly from Nfl (it's available only outside of USA - that's what the VPN is for)
A bit pricy but they have beautiful live HD streams.
I've been watching this beanie on Amazon for a while.... http://www.amazon.com/New-Era-Titans-Field-Classic/dp/B009A7BQ6G/ref=sr_1_1?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1459906591&sr=8-1&keywords=Men%27s+New+Era+New+York+Titans%2FJets+Knit+Hat
