I think it's on by default for android phones.
EDIT: It looks like you get the alert by default if it's over a 4.5 on android. This one was right around there, so the alert might have been based on how close you were to the center and your estimated shaking. They won't warn you for minor earthquakes you can't feel. Thanks for the offer for flyers, let me check with the family. I would assume they have already been flyering.
I think short of camping in the backwoods you're gonna hear fireworks anywhere you go. Even developed campgrounds will have people lighting off fireworks.
You have enough time to order this:
I use it sometimes if I need deep sleep. Bluetooth speaker headband. Covers my ears and my eyes. I ADD foam earplugs and play some soothing nature noises. Can't hear a thing. Additional earplugs allow me to turn the volume higher without it affecting my hearing and that blocks out more noise.
honestly, nothing very good around here...
but it is pretty inexpensive to get some of her favorites and do it at home. maybe 50 dollars total for a decent fondue set another 30 for a selection of meats and cheese and whatever she might fancy. and at the end, you can give her the fondue set for a gift :)
I enjoy the Fullerton loop trail. It's right here in the middle of the city but manages to somehow disappear into nature. Horses and trail bikes are allowed.

Hey, try downloading All Trails from the App store or from Google Play. I've found a lot of trails from this or from Yelp.
This trail is Bell View to Flag Summit. If you search that on All Trails you'll find it and directions.
Its spring, time for a rebirth! Get a new one on amazon
1) One of my favorite things to do with my out of town guests is to go down to Newport Beach Peninsula and rent Beach cruiser bicycles. There are several shops down there that rent them for $5 an hour and can give you all the gear you need like bike locks, helmets, baskets, etc. Ride the bikes on the bike path (the workers will point you in the right direction) stop off at an ice cream shop and enjoy a Balboa bar or chocolate covered banana. Hit up the fun zone. Get a burger and shake from Ruby's diner on the pier. Stop to lay out and soak up some rays.
This is the place I usually rent from, the guys there are super chill https://www.newportcruisers.com/pages/rentals
2) I also recommend renting a Duffy boat in Newport. There are usually Groupons for this that make it affordable. It's a fun family memory to have. Here is one for $69 for 90 mins. Just requires 72 advanced reservation https://www.groupon.com/deals/newport-fun-tours-26
3) My favorite fast food burger is from The Habit. Non chain local burger is Deemers in Laguna Niguel. It's pretty close to Laguna Beach. For a fancy special burger, Umami burger at the Spectrum does a good job too and the spectrum itself is fun to check out. Also Hopdoddy Burger Bar at Fashion Island is yum.
I'm really sorry your brother is going through this. I hope you and your family have a great time together!
It doesn't say how far back it's looking, but this page says the average maximum temp in October is 81. So yeah, it's always hot.
Holy crap. I grew up literally within a geographical mile of Dresden. In this neighborhood across the river. My father is a nuclear engineer who worked at Dresden, and even loaded the first fuel into the Braidwood power station. HOW DID I NOT KNOW DRESDEN WAS SO OBSOLETE?
Have a go yourself, go during the weekday, Thursday, early evening. Less crowds and the potential for drunken nonsense is far less then being there on a Friday/Saturday night.
Been twice this year, same 'ole, same 'ole, been going for years.

These coffee shops are part of the Vietnamese culture. As someone who grew up with these coffee shops around and having some friends working for them, they're not bad in any way.
The shops serve Vietnamese coffee, slushies, allows indoor smoking, and girls wearing almost nothing. The girls also enjoy working there - for the most part(they're paid well). The patrons are usually older Vietnamese men playing cards, working, or studying.
It's sad to watch our tax dollars be put into something that has been around forever and causes no harm.
Anyway - enough ranting, check out some of this facebook album to see the girls :

Bottled water is tap water that has undergone additional filtration across activated carbon and/or polymers and maybe UV sterilization and reverse osmosis. You can purchase home systems that do these same things at a fraction of the price. Not only do you save money but you are not dependent on delivery fluctuations and it's better for the environment (less delivery driving, less air pollution). If you like your free-standing Sparklets dispenser, here is one that is similar in design.

I bought this one for $35. There are better dashcams out there, but this is a great entry option if you just want to have a camera. It will record license plates directly in front of you, but it does have trouble recording plates that may be further than two car distances away.
You're going to want to wrap the charging cord around the top passenger side of your windshield to keep the cord out of your view while you're driving (for safety). I bought these, and they work great. Sometimes the adhesive becomes undone with the heat, but since you have a ton, you can replace them easily.
For storage, you'll need a MicroSD card. The larger your card, the more footage that can be stored before the device overwrites old footage. Dash cams are known to wear out MicroSD cards, so you may need to replace it with a new one periodically. MicroCenter has decent affordable cards, but more expensive cards have lasted me a bit longer than the ultra cheapo ones did.
I'd highly recommend taking your camera down off the holder if you're parking for a long time, since the summer heat can melt the glue inside the camera. This happened to my last one, but I just glued it back together and it works fine now. That said, doing this too often may wear out the charging cable (which is super cheap), so you may want to consider getting a 6-10 foot Amazon Basics charging cable that is compatible with your camera, since those last forever. Just stuff the excess in your glove compartment.
Good luck! I hope this is a helpful kit for you to get started.
Hmm
Well I did some digging and they're using Namecheap as their registrar, and it appears linode to actually host the site. Namecheap might be tough to convince to kick the site offline, the only clause in their TOS that this site might run afoul of is "promoting illegal activities", but that's a stretch. On the other hand, I think we're all systems go for reporting the site to Linode. From their AUP:
> Offensive Content. You shall not Process any content or link to any content that does not comply with applicable law or Linode’s community standards, including without limitation, any content that Linode deems at our sole discretion, to: > > - ...
> - create a risk to a person's safety or health, create a risk to public safety or health, compromise national security, or interferes with an investigation by law enforcement;
> - ...
I'd expect them to pop back online with a new host, but why not make them squirm?
It's super subjective. What have you tolerated in the past? Google Maps does take into account traffic, though the time ranges are pretty wide. It should be enough to give you an idea though. If you go to Waze you can enter in directions and departure times as well. Waze will be more precise on the times, and it's damn accurate too.
For me, a 45 minute commute would be my absolute upper limit. If you end up centrally located in Orange County, 45 minutes during rush hour should be enough to get you almost anywhere in the county.
EDIT: Forgot I really didn't answer your main question, what is a GOOD commute? A good commute would be anything 20 minutes or less, in my opinion.
There are a lot more police patrolling around it now though. Here are some pics I took a few years ago. The Tustin blimp hangars are also abandoned and available to sneak in to.

So, it sounds like you can charge about the same here as there. I'm not sure where you are in Florida - but Orange County CA specifically has a ton of very large expensive houses so there is definitely a huge market here. I was at a house a while back and their 4-person maid staff spent half a day there every week.
Check the Demographics. OC has over 3 million people and the market is contiguous with LA County, Riverside County and San Diego County. So you don't need to make your bread on little jobs.
Labor laws are very different in CA than FL, including a much higher minimum wage here.
Lots to think about!
Good Luck.
North County Yamaha (San Diego) used to organize group rides from Dana Point for years. They (Kendal) would get a chase boat to take luggage, a lead boat to navigate the 40 or so PWCs, and arrange for us to tie yup at the swim line at descanso beach for the weekend. It was a 40 mile ride and, done in the calmer mornings, it was a lot of fun! Make a 3 day weekend of it and you can ride around the island. There is gas in Avalon harbor.
Bring a gps, radio, flare, floatation device and water if you go it alone but always try to go with a buddy. If you stall without help, you'd be surprised how fast the current will take you to Mexico. Also, gloves and goggles are useful for 2-3 hour salt water rides in general.
I don't usually care for long format, motor sports but did this 3 years in a row and loved the heck out of jumping from swell to swell with dozens of other people and no land in sight.
Edit: Apparently I did it 4 years in late July. Photo: Dana Point to Catalina 2006, 08, 09, 10. They did this for a very long time, though. Stand up skis had to refuel off a boat mid-way across and had flat hulls that punished the rider in choppy water. Modern craft make it with fuel to spare and the deep V hulls take away all of the fun of jumping from swell to swell (but can also go 60mph). Also, there were years where the fog was near impenetrable

DeLonghi makes standalone air conditioners. Bought a 14,000 BTU unit at Costco for less than 500 bucks. I'm currently in Houston, TX and it works good enough in this hellish heat. The hot air is discretely vented out a window via a hose like the vent hose on a clothes dryer.

Voter suppression is real, widespread and baked into the GOP view of voting:
"I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections, quite candidly, goes up as the voting populace goes down." - Paul Weyrich, Heritage Foundation Co-Founder
their website used to be linked to their Yelp waitlist. what ended up happening is people who would check in directly through the Yelp app would get bumped above people who checked in in-person. it caused them a lot of problems, so they disabled the Yelp waitlist. this caused their website and the Yelp app to not show a waitlist option for a while. now use a new waitlist app on their site, but it isn't available through Yelp. the only way to sign in to the wait list is on their site, or through the WaitList.me Android app or iPhone apps.

1.4% came from South Korea a week ago. South Korea has had the most extensive testing and containment done of all and successfully flattened the curve - they are the best case scenario. They are now at 111/8,961 as of today, which is still 1.2% mortality rate.
Meanwhile, Italy - they have to choose who gets a hospital bed and who doesn't. They could not keep their hospitals from being overwhelmed. Italy is at 6,077/63,927, 9.5% mortality rate.
Are the files physically inaccessible? My assumption is that they're not unless the drive itself is shot or the drive is using full-disk encryption.
If you're trying to boot off of the drive that might not work, but there's nothing stopping you from booting a different operating system. I'd recommend setting up a live ubuntu install (basically you put your operating system on a cd or a flash drive) and attempt to boot off of that. If the hard drive is working normally you should be able to mount it. If you cannot mount it, stop, do not pass go and head to your nearest data recovery professional (or kiss 5 years of transactions goodbye).
Honestly I'm willing to bet that you will need data recovery services. 5 years is getting to the other end of the hard drive lifespan bell curve and given what you described it's likely the drive is kaput. When I looked up the model there was noting fancy about the drive in it according to the description - just an industry standard 1TB SATA spinning platter. I've tossed an old laptop drive into another computer and it worked just fine, but that was in the xp days.
I can't believe this goes on where my family grew up! NO GODDAMNED WAY! NOT ON MY WATCH, BITCH!

If you’re close to Garden Grove, check out Arirang Market. They have a pre-marinated meat section with someone working the station (similar to a cold cut station), so they could easily help you. The supermarket isn’t as nice as H Mart, but the meat quality is very good (you’ll often see a line for it). Also, the banchan “buffet” line is just a few steps away - try the spicy bellflower root (sounds weird but it’s delicious).
If you want an experience closer to KBBQ, this grill off Amazon is great! You also need a mobile stove and butane (which they also sell at the Korean grocery stores for about $20).

it is here, capping the end of the 105 freeway.
Daytime Orange County temperature usually varies by 10 degrees from the beach to the "mountains" just 20 miles away. 10 degrees cooler at the beach due to the ocean breeze. So it depends where you'll be spending your time. Take a light jacket if you head to the beach. Or buy a cheap sweatshirt once you get there (or both).
Orange County averages about 12 inches (30 cm) of rain every year - but nobody knows when it will come. Maybe the week you are here we'll get a couple cm. Every 5 to 10 years we get 2 to 3 inches (5-8 cm) in a 24 hour period and its very exciting for all of us!
I remember a morning, long ago, when the temperature dropped to freezing overnight. There was a heavy frost on the grass at the elementary schools and all the children were laughing and cheering as they had frost-ball fights before school started.

There are hiking trails that start from there that will get you a nice view without much of a walk. In fact there's a spot where you can get nice view of the ocean and it's only like 50 steps up a hill. The trails in general are very easy and it's a great spot to catch the sunset. After that there are lots of great restaurants down the hill in Laguna beach and the PCH is very walkable.
The Huntington Library is worth a look as it includes nature, history and art. The area also has other things to visit like the Norton Simon Museum, the Arboretum in Arcadia. In honor of Back to the Future day you can also visit the Gamble House, which is near by. It's Doc Brown's house from the movie. It's free to hang out, outside, but costs money to take a tour.
Buy your own synthetic oil (about $12-20 for 5 quarts. Stalk Slickdeals) and synthetic filter (about $5-8 on Amazon or whereever).
Use Yelp for quotes at nearby auto shops for "labor only oil change". Most charge around $15-20 for labor only. They'll usually supply or charge a dollar for gasket/washer.
That's around $40-50 and you know what you're putting into your car and not some cheap/bad filter.

Yeah, actually it looks like I MAY be kinda wrong. It was called the Coyote Canyon Landfill and I guess it pretty much only covers the area that is still mostly undeveloped at the inland bottom of Newport Coast.
That said I do vaguely remember it covering more land than that map would suggest. I know when Sage Hill Highschool was built there were issues with methane even though it was supposedly not on the actual former landfill. Notice on the map how it conviently straddles what is now Sage Hill Highschool. I am also aware as I am sure you are, that the Irvine Company both has the power and the motivation to fudge the historical facts a little from time to time if it means selling a high end real estate.
You beat me to it.

I'm not sure if you can afford paying everything up front, but if you can, look into the deal they have at Costco, $319 for 2 years (if you are a member and buy it in person, I've seen it for $299). It comes out to about $13 a month.
I used to pay about $35/month at 24HF for an all-sport membership.

My dog is deaf now, so we don't have this issue as much anymore since she only panics for the booms that are close enough to actually seem to send out shockwaves, but ask the vet about melatonin. When my dog was at her worst during the 4th, she could take melatonin and it would take a little bit of the edge off - not much, but at least she wasn't clawing at the door ripping her nails out in a panic. She couldn't take other meds too, and we'd have to start it a few days before the booms got bad to sort of get it set up in her system. Also, we converted our bedroom into a sort of panic room. We downloaded this Brown Noise for Sleep track, moved our stereo system with the subwoofer into the bedroom and cranked it up, put up black out curtains, turned on the TV and then just sat with her under the blankets. It helped to block out the majority of the noise, and big booms sounded much quieter.
Still, I hate this time of year.
I think those are in season late fall and early winter. I’ve seen them in several shops, including Trader Joe’s, around the holidays. But they’re also available on Amazon, because of course they are. $25 for 3 pounds, ouch.
I bought a $80 one and it works well so far since Feb:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DNLHGWR
Currently listed at $109, but it goes on sale all the time. 4K front and 1080P for rear camera, has GPS, pretty easy to install.
You can buy the meat at H-mart or Zion.
Also recommend getting a portable gas stove like this: https://www.amazon.com/GS-3000-Portable-Stove-Carrying-Approved/dp/B00BS4RP7S
As well as a grill plate: https://www.amazon.com/TeChef-Stovetop-Non-Stick-Coating-Technology/dp/B00JT8ZYCS/
They sell both of the above at H-mart if you need it ASAP.
I don't recommend cooking in a regular pan over the stove unless you can drain the meat. Otherwise you end up boiling the meat in its own oil/grease instead of grilling it and getting the nice burnt crust. KBBQ grill pans have draining mechanisms built in so the oils and greases don't build up while you are cooking.
Also open windows and ventilate if cooking indoors.
I've been doing DIY KBBQ like this at home since quarantine started.
If anyone is having a hard time finding toilet paper, just go on amazon and type "jumbo toilet paper" or industrial toilet paper. This is the toilet paper used by businesses.....and since businesses are closed there is a glut of it. It isn't as soft and it is on huge rolls but if you are down to your last few rolls and can' find anything then just buy the industrial rolls to tide you over. Also price is cheaper than regular toilet paper. You can also probably do the same thing for towel paper, napkins, tissues and so on. Just look for the industrial versions and you're golden. No shortages! lol
I'm surprised more people haven't figured this out.

yes, a business membership. i just checked; i'm pretty sure it used to be free, only because my dad had so many, but now it costs $55 per "affiliate" per year, so who knows. he took me off his account a long time ago so i guess i have no idea what i'm talking about anymore!

Your analogy is misleading. That model assumes all cars are of equal capacity, when in reality the majority of cars carry exactly 1 passenger (much like the way a parallel connector's wires each carry 1 bit at a time) but a small minority of cars carry 2+, and buses can carry 20+.
The goal of HOV lanes is to route the high-density traffic (2+ cars, buses) along a separate right of way, where it won't have to deal with the congestion of the slow parallel lanes. It's more like a serial bus: high speed, high throughput, limited lanes. They understood the numbers behind this back in the 1940s, but nobody cared because cars were shinier and more private..
Adding more width to a parallel bus works, up to a point. Eventually, the bus width simply becomes unmanageable, which is exactly the reason why we use USB 2.0 today instead of parallel ports. The OC has plenty of land, but eventually the freeways are going to become too unmanageable, and when that time comes, people will be clamoring for transit.
I completely understand, I really do. I'm a card-carrying introvert. :) But I've also tutored adult ESL students for over 10 years and can't tell you how many times they've begged me to practice English with them in my free time. Instead, I send them to Meetups and encourage them to volunteer, take recreation classes, and socialize. The students who become fluent tend to be the ones who socialize as much as possible, immerse themselves in English-speaking movies, music, and TV, and forgive themselves easily for being human.
Everyone has to start somewhere right? I suggested this Meetup to you because I noticed many of the Meetup members want to practice their English in exchange for teaching others Korean, so in essence, it'd be the ideal learning experience: Friends teaching Friends.

Yes, yes it is out of the ordinary. What do you think average means? I’m not saying 90 degree weather is impossible right now, but it’s out of the norm (aka above average). Go back one year, the entire month of may in 2019 never got above 80. So yes, 90 degree weather in may in Southern California is not normal., and since it is above average it is called a heat wave. So...not sure why you can’t accept this but whatever. may weather 2019
That's great to know!
While I love my Kindles, my recommendation is specifically for e-ink screens rather than an Amazon device specifically (although they're probably the best value if you mostly buy from Amazon). So the more options, the better!
You can get Calibre to move your entire library around between everything you have anyway, regardless of format.
Valido trail up to Aliso Peak is my favorite given your criteria but may be a tough drive after 5pm from Fullerton. This is short short: 1 mile out and back but is rated moderate because it's a little steep. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/valido-and-toovet-trails-to-aliso-peak
You can then swing by Coco Ichi for Tonkatsu Curry.
Info from Nextdoor says it’s the mom of an IVC student. She’s quarantined in the Irvine Kaiser.
They live in the Villa Sienna apartment off Jamboree. Has been to 99 Ranch, SCP, and haidilou hot pot.

This place in Walnut has a dude who was coordinated some of The Last Airbender: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wushulink-Martial-Arts-Inc/109584145744851
I believe they have some experience filming students who are silver-screen hopefuls too.
I have no idea whether they'd be open to your request, but they seemed like nice dudes when I visited my cousin there.
Defiantly not a long term solution, but t's possible to make around minimum wage doing Amazon Mechanical Turks (https://www.mturk.com/mturk/welcome).
There is a subreddit here (http://www.reddit.com/r/HITsWorthTurkingFor/) dedicated to finding good ones.
You're probably not going to be able to live off that money, but it's better than nothing.
lol. My Thesis was a crafty thing. It started out about government propaganda (Lippman and Bernays), then moved into the shaping of public media public media (chompsky), then it became a research project on modern applications of technology for mass communication (turning it into a study of the social expectations of technology, use of the internet in society, etc), and I finally wrote on how communities can develop over the internet through places like Reddit (where people dont know each other, but create meaningful 'social capital' (Putnam). I wasnt so much a fan of the final product, but your free to read it if you want : ) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VkyvaJco370VYE_8Sfuwl7E3YKCZt1H9LDniuhIufps/edit?authkey=CJC75YQG&hl=en_US Soka University is a liberal arts college built on a beautiful campus in Aliso Viejo. The student body is brought up to think globally as contributive citizens. A lot of students are open minded and concerned about social issues affecting the poor. Many people are education advocates and are largely dependant on financial aid. About 40% or more of the student body is international. Its a pretty sweet place overall. www.soka.edu
There's lots of 24 Hour Fitness' in Orange County, and you can get a a 2 year membership at Costco for $370 http://www.costco.com/24-Hour-Fitness-2-year-ALL-CLUB-SPORT-Membership-Certificate.product.100070476.html
Buck Gully: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/buck-gully-trail
Beatiful little foot bridges with babbling brooks, shade, and greenery. Easy hike.
Of course! It really depends on what you're into but Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa and the Observatory in Santa Ana seem to be pretty consistently good. Another protip, use Songkick to track your favorite artists as they come through L.A., O.C., and S.D. and to see a comprehensive list of upcoming shows in each of these areas.
People should be more pissed off. Especially when you compare CA to the rest of the United States.
I'm sure as hell pissed why our state lets the oil industry bend us over and take advantage of us from behind. I want to get in contact with someone and help change this. I just don't know who exactly to contact...
You can use privacy.com to setup burner credit cards that are single-use only. It is a must for any subscription service. If you don't like the service, simply let the subscription run out of time. No need to even cancel. When they go to re-charge the card, it will just be declined and then the company will auto-cancel your membership. No phone calls, e-mails, begging customer service.
Is it legally possible to limit the power of a particular union?
I don't think teachers/nurses have anywhere near the same authority but used them as examples in the argument that for sure would be brought up against removing some power from LE unions.
Think you would enjoy this article - not because it contains anything you don't already know but that it's an easy share right from the horses mouth as they say: Confessions of a Former Bastard Cop
Howard Zinn: A People's History of the United States - Part 1: Bread and Roses is a great reminder of this & how fucking long it's been going on.
My entire attitude has changed, regarding all of this stuff when I read the book The new geography of jobs". It's a really good eye opener at where things were 40 years ago and where they are now.
I second this. We bought an outdoor PizzaQue from Amazon and never cook our pizza in the regular oven anymore.
Pizzacraft PizzaQue PC6500 Outdoor Pizza Oven https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FYO368K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_q-jkyb2FAXKDA
Just buy one on Amazon.
what does "basic Orkin treatments" consist of? Most effective way is to use gel bait. If they're not doing that, then that's a head scratcher since they are a pest control company.
I had a moderate infestation in the kitchen years ago and treated the problem myself. Bought insecticide bait that's effective on roaches and started applying around the area. Wiped them out within a couple weeks.
Edit: I used a brand called Advion. You can probably get away using something like this https://smile.amazon.com/Combat-Killing-Indoor-Outdoor-Syringe/dp/B000QRAXSG/ref=sr_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=indoxacarb&qid=1600403066&sr=8-16#customerReviews
It's cheaper than Advion and you can find this or something similar at a Walmart.
>(or exhaust some hot air, depending on the direction of the fan).
I have this one which has a button to change from intake to exhaust. Very convenient.
The Microcenter flash drives are garbage. Just grab a halfway decent one off Amazon and save yourself the wait and possible data corruption. Something like this will work great.
if you have amazon prime, you can get a 10 pound bag delivered to you tomorrow. i'm sure they have smaller sizes, too, if 10 pounds is still too much.
Mint operates on T-Mobile's cell towers, so anywhere T-Mobile works, Mint should work. Amazon sells a Mint mobile starter kit for $1, , which gives you 7 days to test out the service.
One of the cool features of Android phones is the ability to install apps remotely from the browser google play store. Go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.adm&hl=en and select install and then choose the phone that was stolen to install too. As long as the device is still signed in to your google account and power on and connected to the internet through wifi or 4G the app will install and then you can use DanGarion's link to find your phone.
Get a dash cam. If you commute then it's only a matter of time before it saves you. Here's one of the best ones around, and only $80. There's only one with both front and rear facing cameras.
I've had people hit me and lie saying it was my fault. Every time, because of my camera, it's been declared 100% them at fault. Get one.
The newest edition of Knott's Preserved. It's amazing. I moved to Alaska and visited knotts for knotts scary farm while I was here this October. Hadn't bothered to go to the gift shop when I went to Knotts regularly in the past. Now that I can't regularly go there anymore having some memorabilia is a bit more worthwhile.
Consider carrying hiking poles, especially if you're new, on top of getting good hiking shoes that has good grip. It really helps with stability especially if you're considering trails with more elevation changes or narrow trails. Plus the poles are good safety and defense tools.
I'm a little confused, is this bill for one month or two months? Does the bill include proration or other turn on fees/deposits from starting service?
Your TV, fridge and monitor are probably plugged in 24/7.
There's probably other things plugged in you aren't thinking about:
I got these for the TV, fans, bidet, etc. Still creating the habit but definitely noticed a small difference.
In addition you have to think of your usage of wired lights, smoke/carbon monoxide detector, doorbell, security, outdoor lights, air conditioning, etc.
Does SCE have a usage graph that you can look at your hourly usage?
Here's a link with some more info that was posted in /r/Disneyland. Has a cool picture of a Jack Skellington controlled by drones.
Since you mentioned you like coffee-- I have a Keurig and I'm a fan of this San Francisco Bay brand. It's $27 for a pack of 80, so just $0.34 per cup. They're cheaper, come in compostable K-cups, and in my opinion it tastes better than anything else.
Yes, this is the worst my allergies have been in years. Like the top comment said, probably due to the rain this year.
The good news is: according to the pollen count on weather.com the worst of it is over. Pollen levels were "moderate" for like 10 days straight, and just today/yesterday they have dipped to "low" and a week from now they are forecasted to be "none" so were almost through it.

I don't have a mobile recommendation but here's what I do:
My normally sweet, docile cat turns into a violent murderer when I trim his nails. Plus he's large so the damage he could do is a bit more intense.
On the first of every month he gets his nails trimmed and I time it right before a meal. I have had great luck by putting on this cone which I already had for my dog and then using a fleece blanket to wrap his body up like a burrito with one leg at a time showing. (I've also seen these cones but not used them)
He hates the burrito just as much as the process and the cone but with more and more experiences we've gotten to the point of being able to usually do two paws, sometimes three, without needing to be burrito wrapped.
When we're done I take off the cone, I don't try to pet him but one at a time give him 3-5 high value treats. The first one I throw to him, the 2nd one I throw a little closer to me, etc. When we get to the one where he's close to me I start to give him a quick light head scratch. When I put them away he's rubbing against me for more and then I pick him up, give him his favorite chin scratch and apologize. When he's fully relaxed I take him to his tower to eat.
