>Midseason MVP: My initial thought was to give it to punter David Lee, which would say a lot about how the first half of the season has gone. He has been one of the best in the league, averaging 49.8 yards a kick, after being acquired in a trade with Cleveland. But I’m going with tight end Greg Olsen, who is on pace to set career highs in catches and receiving. He has been the most consistent part of an offense that has played well enough for Carolina to win all but two games.
David Newton: defining a whole new level of uninformed idiot.
EDIT: 11:52am Ninja edit now says "Andy Lee"
Less serious... Do you want to die young of heart failure?
Do you like getting your hopes up to be dashed by the Cardiac Cats only to pull out a close victory that shouldn't have been close?
For anyone wondering:
No need to get all childish, we were having a pretty civilized discussion. NFL rules are hard to fully understand, I don't blame you for not knowing them.
AZ plays on real grass that they grow outside the stadium and roll in for games. It's actually really cool.
They're pumas, catamounts, mountain cats, or mountain lions.
Also apparently cougars can be panthers...

He's actually dead on with the music.
Yeah, yeah I flaired it. Just to add I am on mobile, and the easiest app to use to flair so far is Sync for Reddit.
My parents have a slingbox, which streams whatever they're watching online and I can view it online and even control it with a digital TWC remote (it's expensive but worth it to not pay for cable on my end, I'm just sapping off there's). It keeps me from having to pay for Cable TV (drawback is that if they're watching something I can't watch something different, but we generally have the same interests). I knew they had the game recorded so I was able to load up their app and stream it.
Then I use Open Broadcaster Software to capture it while I watch it. Website like gfycat and streamable make it where I don't need to convert to .gif anymore, if I wanted to do that.
I'm not someone who's going to be putting something up within 30 seconds of it happening like some people do, though I could do it pretty damn quick, but I do have the capability in my back pocket.
Ive live out of the country for the last 6 years, I get game pass every year, i love it. U can watch every game, replay every game, NFL network, and wathc old games back several years. If a game is blacked out in your area cause its on TV, u can use a vpn to spoof a country like germany who doesnt have blackouts. Also if youre in the US, you can use a vpn to get gamepass as well. I use Private Internet Access its like 50 or 60 bucks for a year and works swimmingly.
*I cant recall prices cause i havent bought it yet this year but i think its in the 80 USD range for all season, if u just want Panthers games its alot cheaper, also, you can by weeks individually, but not reccomended if you are gonna be watching alot, cause they 'spensive
That's what I do as well...except I get all the games (wife is a big Steelers fan). I was using Hola last year and switched...watchout, they were caught doing some pretty nasty stuff ("turning your computer into a node on a botnet, and selling your network to anyone who is willing to pay"). I've switched to TunnelBear VPN and it works just as better actually, because it works on my phone too!
I mean, Dungy raised a bunch of money for an anti-gay marriage organization, supports a ban on gay marriage and said he wouldn't have drafted Michael Sam because he was gay.
EDIT: Genuinely curious why I'm being downvoted? I'm not making it up or anything: http://www.espn.com/espn/wire/_/section/nfl/id/2808705
He's really just sucking up because he can't say that the Redskins are a better team at this point. Although he's definitely right that they wouldn't let him have this pregame show going on. I mean articles like this one about JOSH KEEPING HIS PERSONALITY were everywhere, the players basically run the lockerroom, that's why Jared Allen loved it.
I just don't think Josh is going to handle the spotlight he's creating. Nobody in sports is on an island where failure is so personal like a CB. He's getting sucked into playing more games than the one that matters and it's going to wear on him. I don't want it to, but I'm becoming more neutral every time he says something. I'll miss the edge he brought but if it was going to be the "Season of Josh" I'm kind of glad we don't have to deal with it.
According to this story from David Newton Hill "tore his ACL, PCL, LCL and hamstring -- an injury that ended his season and one that has ended the career of other NFL players."
Looks like it was a much worse injury than Benjamin. If I'm not mistaken, that's similar to the injury that basically ended Marcus Lattimore's career.
At the same time, RB Willis McGahee tore his ACL, PCL and MCL and came back from it.
Guess it depends on the athlete.
SkinIt makes some NFL controller skins. I started looking and now I'm really considering this one. I'm assuming the Microsoft/NFL partnership means we'll never get any actual printed controllers for the Playstation.
Also I dunno if Amazon links are allowed, but it's not an affiliate link just so everyone knows.
Part of it is business, not that I disagree with you, but from his perspective he's trying to get the best deal.
Tat's and "boy" are part of a culture he grew up in, and while I can see the "boy" thing in a very demeaning light, I can also see where it causes no harm. It depends on how he uses, and who he uses it with. If it's a regular term for everyone, then I don't see the problem.
I certainly didn't like his lockout behavior, but he was doing his job as a businessman to get the best deal, which is why he did what he did.
You should read The Wealth of Nations by John Adams. It's a very good read, and shines a good light on why things are the way they are and what's wrong with the way they are in the economy which bleeds into other areas of life.
Jerry fighting for the owners is an example of him trying to get the best deal, and the players fighting for their side is them trying to get the best deal. In the end we got compromise and got a decent bargain out of it all.
Economically we have a problem right now because we've suppressed the rights of labor and their negotiating power and given it all to business. With no power to draw from, and too little money to strike we've seen the rewards of a hard days work go to the business owners and not distributed to the people not watching the News in their pent-house office all day. There has to be given and take, and both sides have to have equal pull for us all to win.
Gotta specify, bro! Either way it's wrong, though since the 13th is 60 days from today.

Gettleman decided he could do more with the $14 million it would pay Norman. Norman hadn't signed the franchise tag in hopes he could work out a long-term deal but was willing to play under it if nothing worked out. Gettleman didn't like the idea of paying Norman money for one year while not being 100% sure Norman would play, not holdout, and not be a distraction.
If you don't mind waiting 2-3 weeks, you can get it for $8 from AliExpress.com

So far, it's had 3 major updates (Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises). And a 4th one (Next) is due out next Tuesday. On top of that, Hello Games is planning weekly updates to add new content and gameplay.
Here is a list of all NMS update logs and what each contains
Hey, /u/Carolina_PanThor, I think there's a mistake for one of the questions from last week. For Question 5, you asked "How many receptions will Panthers WRs have?" You said the correct number was 37, but that wasn't the number of receptions, that was the number of passes thrown. There were only 25 completions (receptions). See the box score here.
I doubt it would change my results (a respectable 4th place!), but I thought I should point it out. Thanks again for doing these!
It seems like this team is an inspiration to aspiring CS specialists! I remember doing a quick, panthers-inspired game on Scratch for my CS intro class a little over a year ago!
EDIT : The hitbox of those balls was strongly triggering me
I've got some black pumas I ordered off amazon for 30 bucks that came with the perfect shade blue shoelaces

We actually dropped to 4th last night (still respectable). Buffalo and Seattle both climbed in the rankings after MNF.
Current rankings:
1st - Buffalo - 30 sacks
2nd - Denver - 28 sacks
3rd - Seattle - 27 sacks
4th - Carolina - 24 sacks
T5th - Tennessee - 23 Sacks
T5th - Philadelphia - 23 Sacks
7th - Washington - 22 Sacks
T8th - Atlanta - 21 Sacks
T8th - Green Bay - 21 Sacks
T8th - Minnesota - 21 Sacks
T8th - Arizona - 21 Sacks
In El Paso (and part timer in Cloudcroft.)
I used NordVPN to connect through Mexico City, and signed up for NFL Game Pass.
So I’ll use my iPad to connect via Mexico, and then just AirPlay it to my TV.
I used to privateer streams, but i'm trying something new this year. NordVPN has a server in Charlotte. Signed up for a month of the new NFL+ Premium.
We will see if it works.
It shouldnt be this hard though. NHL TV was super affordable, and even on ESPN+ hockey is still cheap to watch.
Baseball and football streaming options suck ass. I have to sign up for the stupid Ohio sports channel and get a satellite service if I want to watch the Reds. All because i live 3 hours from Cinci where im in the "blackout" zone so im excluded from MLBs streaming, but we only get national games on tv or maybe a cubs game, never Reds games.
This kind of shit needs some actual regulation.

Well of course I was half joking - that guy is pretty much not remembered at all. However, out of curiosity i did search and found this listing - looks like they barely had room to put the name!
I'm going to guess that Joey Ellis designed it since he's done a lot of the shirts for them in the past. I could be wrong though.

Cam would get a big contract anywhere he goes. You don't think the Cardinals or Raiders wouldn't shit bricks over him? These shitbricks would be 24 karat gold.. They have good offensive lines and receivers.
Cam is a BCS and Heisman level competitor. The guy wants to win so bad, you can see it when he plays. I genuinely hope you're right, but there are teams that aren't being coy in FA.
Frankly, we've only made defensive moves in free agency with Hardy and Harper. Two huge moves, relative to our team, but our offense has strictly gotten worse. I wouldn't have called it a strength last year, neither.
Again, it's just not particularly true in the way it's presented. Unless there's an equal discussion on white-on-white crime.
Black on black crime is a myth, the VAST majority of black on black crime is between less than .5% of the black population and is gang affiliated. Not only that, when controlling for poverty/income, black crime isn't that much worse than white crime.

I got this BRXLZ (essentially lego) helmet off my other half for christmas once. It's a long build but that made it way more enjoyable
I use the UnoTelly service. It allows you to watch things you normally couldn't watch because of the country you live in. This includes NFL GamePass which is normally only for people outside the US. UnoTelly is $5/month and the GamePass was somewhere around $150 I believe for the whole season. You get every game, every week, and can watch any game from previous seasons (though I don't remember how far back you can go to watch games). And it's HD.
I live in Georgia, so I only get Falcon games and another random game. I used UnoTelly and GamePass last season and it was awesome.
I was having the same trouble. But then I found these bad boys.
> What is the best method to patch drywall that has (roughly speaking) a fist sized hole in it?
Drywall patch. You can find it at your local Home Depot or Lowe's. It's easy enough that any schmoe can do it. Conversely, you can order something like this which has everything you need in one kit. Make sure to pick up some touch-up paint if the wall isn't white.
For those of you outside of the sweet tea zone, here are some pointers:
If you can find a Waffle House, they will have sweet tea. I think the Fort Collins, CO is the most northwestern one.
McDonalds has sweet tea, but it's not very good.
In a pinch, the Mio sweet tea is actually not that bad.
This is true. Not sure how you can mirror the phone to a TV without a Lightning-HMDI cable though. This thing:
I just found this one bc i also want a luke shirt, dont know if you care for it or not but i figured id shoot it your way....
